Today's screenshots are: Man Experiencing Shape Mania

I've spent the last week or so working on a tutorial video explaining How To Make Shapes, which was a noble endeavor at first, but has quickly devolved into a feverish prism of my own design.

Cylinders litter my floor. Spheres will not stop rolling. Stacks of disks with incorrect collision modifiers explode at the slightest touch. Imperfect cones vibrate menacingly as soon as they are given physics. The pyramids and cuboids surely plot my demise.

If you do not hear from me after this next week, then I have surely fallen into their trapezoid. Do not seek me out, for I will be polygone!

now that I’m home from the women and nb in tech conference I want to bitch about it so bad

like the sessions were all intro level that offered nothing to anyone with even a passing knowledge of the material (intro to open source boiled down to “anyone can do it :-) follow your passion and get started!”) and there were so many college kids which college kids I love you but holy shit was this just a glorified college job fair. everyone I met there was pretty nice and that part was fun, but apart from two talks they all sucked. Also I went to a game dev talk (one of the only ones offered) and they made fun of game developers because of course there couldn’t be any women and nb game developers in the room fuck offfffff I will be telling all my coworkers who bitched about the women* in the org getting to go that it was the best thing ever though as we only got more women on the team than John’s (3versus2)
