Honestly we all players need to start a revolution like the mincrafters cause i will not fucking stand for everything just being deleted cause: "Oh We DoN't WaNnA uP kEeP oUr SeRvErS aNyMoRe If YoU cAn JuSt bUy ThIs NeW wOrSe GaMe." like theyre needs to be more consequenz then a littel only backlash for pulling a move like this. WE PAID FOR THE GAME; SO GIVE US THE FULL GAME or atleast open source it or let us host our own servers. like fuck it lets camp infront of headquartes or trow in some of their windows until we get back the games we paid for. And You know what why stop theyre lets force them to make all updates and versions of the games availabel if were at it. Yes im that passionate about this.

I just saw that there is a rumor that starting on September 1, 2023...Microsoft is getting rid of XBox Live Gold and now calling it Game Pass Core.

So no more Games With Gold, but now if you are a “Core” member you get a small library of games to play. I guess that’s an improvement over GWG since it’s been so bad for a while now. (Especially after they stopped giving away backwards compatible games.)

But, Microsoft is STILL going to keep charging people to play premium games online. It’s so fucking greedy of them to keep doing this. It’s already known that Game Pass is making them over a billion dollars a year in profit, but that’s not enough for them. They still want more money. It’s fucking disgusting.

Microsoft is retiring Xbox Live Gold and replacing it with Xbox Game Pass Core, retaining the pricing, online multiplayer access, subscriber deals, and adding a subset of Game Pass titles.

Today, we’re continuing our commitment to give players more choice and value by introducing Xbox Game Pass Core, launching on September 14. Game Pass Core is the evolution of Xbox Live Gold. Game Pass Core will give players access to our advanced multiplayer network, a select collection of over 25 games to play with friends around the world, and exclusive member deals, all for $9.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD per year.

Games with Gold, the Xbox Live feature that gave away free games with the subscription, will be retired. Games with Gold has been a feature with diminished returns for years now so its retirement is not surprising.

The retirement of Xbox Live Gold marks the end of an era but pulling this service under the Game Pass umbrella makes Xbox subscription offerings much easier to understand.

Xbox Live and gold is the biggest ripoff ever. So I share an account kind of with my friend so we both get Xbox live gold and game pass. He couldn't afford it this month, so it expired. Here's the weird part. He still had gold. He was buying Game Pass which included gold, so how Game Pass could expire but he still had gold is confusing. Here's where it's even more confusing. The games I bought, the games I fucking owned, in no form can I play online. However, the games I got for free, the games that are micro transitions, pay as you go, etc, I can play online. What the fuck. Seriously what the fuck. You're telling me I get more out of the game that I got for free than the ones I spent actual fucking cash on? Burn in hell microsoft. I hope Bill Gates dies now. I mean I always hoped he die, but now I hope a little faster. And I know he doesn't even have really any influence on Xbox and stuff, I just hope he dies. He's a bad mother fucker. This just made me more motivated.

ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist launches January 22, 2025 - Gematsu

Dark 2D Metroidvania RPG ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on January 22, 2025, publisher Binary Haze Interactive and developers Live Wire and Adglobe announced. Pre-orders for physical editions will begin soon in Japan, with information on physical editions for other regions to be announced at a later date.

Story
