1. Describe their first date.

Realistically their first official date wouldn’t happen until Chantilly comes back in Act 2. But it’s definitely something intimate and quiet, mostly due to him still being vulnerable and weak and also she’s not one for big crowds djfjdj.

But they have a nice night, having dinner together in some secluded corner of the Palace and ending the night with a walk through the gardens before bed.

2. Who wakes up early/Who sleeps in late?

Technically Quezal wakes up early, but that’s only to groggily crawl over to her sunning rock to keep snoozing under the warmth of the sun. Chantilly being nice and warm is a plus, but nothing beats a good sunning time.

As for who stays up, definitely Chantilly, though they both retire to bed around the same time. It takes him a bit to wind down, and besides watching his wife nod off to sleep is nice. He can lie there for hours studying the way she sleeps before remembering he needs to sleep too djfjs.

9. What do they dislike most about the other? Why?

I definitely think at the start Quezal disliked how much of a pushover sad sack Chantilly was, she doesn’t like the whole sorry for yourself schtick and when he comes back is determined to get him some backbone (which he does eventually get! He just needed to not be in constant pain and also to speak up more.)

I think Chantilly isn’t too keen on how much of a brick wall Quezal can be, and the way she handles conflict by clamming up and not mentioning it is frustrating. He does help her try to communicate more effectively, but there are still moments where he has to stop himself from groaning in annoyance as she refuses to acknowledge something.

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective?

Quezal, is horrible at emotions especially when it comes to other people’s. If at all she tries to distance herself from being responsible for any kind of reassurance or comfort, but where she fails in words she is good on action. She’ll sit next to him and let him cry into her or be a silent companion as he vents.

He does appreciate it, having someone to hold when you’re upset is good.

Chantilly is much more intuitive when it comes to comfort, but he knows when its best to stay away and give her space. Especially when she has her moments and remembers specific moments that paralyze her into fight or flight. That’s when he’ll quietly clear out and let her go through the motions, coming back after a bit with some food and water and letting her rest.

Quezal appreciates the space, especially after the first few times it happened where his response was to try to stay and talk her through it. That was a bit of a hiccup at the start of their relationship, but they managed.

SO basically WyrmThread is the ship name of my two OCs Quezal, a wyrm and Chantilly, a former Troupe Master (i have the headcanon that all the Grimms aren’t the same person but different people each time while NKG and the Heart stay the same ofc)

In my HK OC story Codex Xihuitl these two meet after Quezal accidentally lights a Nightmare Torch in the desert she lives in. Shit kind of happens due to his backstory and the Ritual is in jeopardy of failing because there is no more charm Grimmchild until they decide to see if making a kid would work instead

So they do, they have a son, Chantilly dies and Quezal goes on with her life and taking care of her son

Until she realizes that she doesn’t want to give him up once the Troupe calls for a new Master and makes a near impossible deal with the Heart to bargain for his life.

To not spoil the rest of my story and to maybe get some interest in reading it she does succeed in getting her way with keeping her son and ofc like any wyrm who has too much hubris she manages to find a way to resurrect Chantilly (because I became too attached to their relationship so I retconned his death to be less permanent sjfjakxj) and they live on to be a p happy family ruling the Empire she amassed with her as Empress and him as her Lord consort :3 yayy They go on to adopt another kid (which turns out to be a vessel that escaped the Abyss) and now they’re a family of four

WyrmThread is basically Cringefail girlboss and her malewife, Quezal is a no nonsense shoot before thinking type of person while Chantilly is a hopeless romantic and loves her sm

They’re both slightly unhinged but you know in a good way, in a get horny at the sight of blood on their bodies type way yknow something not too bad rkfkskkf

I love these two so much its unreal and I will be elaborating on them more in my story!

Me when I have not played either Bloodborne or Elden Ring and only know base knowledge of each by watching lore videos: “Today I will make an Elden Ring Wyrmthread au in which Chantilly came from Yharnam (and had inherited Eileen’s work as a Hunter of Hunters) ended up in the Lands Between and decided to hitch a ride with Tarnished Quezal on the road to becoming Elden Lord because it sounded fun plus Tarnished Hunting
