Boundless Horizons is a arpg (art role playing game) with funky little guys called dopalines! They gain exp for your and and get cool upgrades that let you change their look or what as know as an "upgrade species." There is currently a Halloween event happening right. (Go get those free items and event upgrades)

as someone who was apart of wyngro this group is such a relief they're not insanely strict and it has "in-game" currency that allows you to progress without having to use actual cash to get anywhere

You can also transfer existing characters if you don't want to make a whole new character!

It’s not just GG. But we personally do it out of respect for others. A lot of people dont look back on that time fondly. It enabled a lot of bad spending habits. Also there was, you know. A straight up good number of predatory people in Wyngro. (Not even in the nonce sense of predator but between power imbalance and exploitation)

What sparked the calling of wyngro "wingstop" in GG cause like I get it people don't like the owner and came from there but they're also treating it as if the wyngro is trauma. They even spoiler tag images of wyngro characters on the discord and give it a warning. It feels like its a bit much if you were never staff there and had to be super directly involved, all you did was draw your ocs.

I’m glad this blog relaxed with the anonymous rule because it was kind of annoying tbh

People worried about getting banned for publicly using this blog, and it is easy to forget to click the ‘answer anonymously’ button.

Wyngro is closed now. So it no longer a concern. It was annoying to have to enforce the rule; but it was worth it to help make people feel safe here.

..facedesk. i just realized Why my brain got stuck on this. it's not duskky (altho thats part of it bc i keep remembering somebody's kingdom hearts duskky lmao). it's because we used to have a wyngro that was very based off of asriel undertale and we had a lot of fun figuring out how to adapt him into being that while still being a Distinct Creature

(and we also had another arpg evo species that was based off hiro bh6 because he was one of the main fronters at the time. and we had a ketucari based off Another fictive. but that's system stuff and not "im very emotionally attached to this guy" like our azzy wyngro was)

The only species I've been in with equally nitpicky approvals as succubuns was wyngro, and that was downright awful. Succubuns needs to get their shit together and stop pulling hairs over every damn approval, this is unreasonable.

Personally I don't really like the path Grimsby grove has taken, it started as the opposite of its predecessor Wyngro. Truly when it opened I had a good time with it, drawing my characters and simply enjoying my time quietly but quickly everything felt like it went down hill. I personally at this point think ARPG is a dieing formula. With its naturally restrictive and limiting nature but GG truly is a great example of why I think this way: Greed they started with low prices and reasonable ways for the volunteers to make money but it quickly went to a outrageous standard of spending hundreds of dollars on just one thing, one of the things I know many in the server have complained about but simply have fallen back into there old rhythm.

With this aswell the same MYO system is being used one that encourage uniformity, quietly falling in line and picking out those who will be easy to control. Now this must sound stupid but give me a moment to explain my thoughts: When making a MYO you need to go through a approval process which makes the mods beat you down critique every little detail you make you make to absolute perfection. A werid thing about this process though is how constantly the mods contradict eachother one saying this is good while another says its not, and if you point this out you will be called out for arqueing even if that wasn't intended. Seemily aswell they go harder on some members then others, building up a cult following with some while shoving others out.

The utter manipulative nature i see in this group is cruel, the peer pressure to get exclusively to own more the encouragement of greed and jealousy among members. The owners say they don't but thays what the system is designed to do simply cause build up of greed. To show off what they have and what you how much money your willing to spend to gain freinds to simple gain anything because outside of this group most of thease people are lonely. They don't have anything else to draw to do outside of ARPG groups so there easy to manipulate into the crowd to love bomb so they can get freinds and have a social circle.

This is why new ideas are pushed put of the group. If you dony conform or loop hole or break any rules your socially osstosized ignored and completely cut off from the love of everyone else there. So you have to follow the crowd indulge in the greedy nature of the group or else you are alone.

Abit of a shitty Segway but the greed also lies in the gambling micanics. Rolling for the chance to get the chance to be special. Truly if they were smarter they whould be rigging the rolls to love bomb more, but currently its just like loot boxes causing a dopamine rush in people's heads just to get something anything.

ARPG are dieing the system of grinding art never drawing anything besides that over and over truly isn't good for the users. I'll probably make a follow up to this post in due time, feel free to reply with your opinions and arguments just know I will not take any harassment or argue with those who refuse to hear me out or present evidence.
