I decided to toy with Sævar's design a few months ago while playing with some funky new paper, and this is the result! A few more scales and fishy traits to make him look less "Little Mermaid" and more like a beast who lives in the seas--a näcken!

Not sure if I'll ever finish this, so just in case, I'll post the sketch!

Vithaira the half-transformed mindflayer finally found and ate the most delicious brain last session. A defenseless elder brain! The consumption transformed her into an Ulitharid, skipping mindflayer entirely and evolving beyond that. Now she's set on the path to become an elder brain herself! Combined with her monk Arms of the Astral Self ability, her dilophosaurus frill, and her turban that burns with the light of the sun all picked up during the campaign, she now has QUITE the presence!

She's begun a slow and underground plot using her new powerful telepathy. She's struck deals with some powerful people in the Astral Sea, agreeing to be a telephone switchboard of sorts. As her power grows, she'll be able to handle more and more lines of communication, using a tampered hivemind to bring the Astral Sea together. And then once she has all of them dependent on her? Blackmail. Refusal to send important messages unless they serve her. Don't worry about it :)

Some dumb mid-D&D scribbles - Cendrier harassing my boy Denuviel as the enemy shark guy stuck in the middle wishes he desperately wasn't there - Hold Mo gentle like hamburger is a long running joke - Robin rolled two nat 20s on a double eldritch blast. Step aside, Gandalf. A new titty king is in town.

We did a D&D Humblewood two-shot, and my character was a Luma named Bonnie Bridgebasket, a Community Domain Cleric! Literally her concept was PIGEON RELIGION.

She's a chubby old feisty grandma who's always sure to keep everyone well fed (whether they liked it or not), used a big rolling pin as a mace, and had very strong opinions about food safety.

Some random bits, bobs, and memes of ol' Vithaira. Normally she wears a headscarf and goggles and stuff to hide her half-illithid-ness so she doesn't get stabbed on sight, but when she's not wearing all that, she's got the whole squid head AND the curse of a dilophosaurus frill after pissing off a fey lady with a special interest for dinosaurs. Kinda fits the mind flayer aesthetic though, doesn't it?

Vithaira found a cool hat that lets her do monk attacks from a distance! She's a bigger menace than ever before. And yes, the hat was added in after the picture, it's literally just a cut out sticky note lmao
