I felt a bit of a Discworld vibe - specifically a scene from "Small Gods", where the gods played a big board game with their followers as pawns.

Someone finally asked Mads & Hugh what [they think] happened during the time skip in TWOTL from arriving in the escape house to the wine scene in the evening.

Hugh: "They just sat there in silence."

Mads: "Well there's a bottle of wine that's opened, I guess they've had a few. I guess it's also a question for the audience, what would you like?" OH HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING and "As you can tell they showered."

Can we talk about how when Will says “it’s beautiful”, Hannibal is looking directly at him when he nods, his eyes very obviously appraising his face before going down to Will’s lips.

He doesn’t look at the carnage of the dragon and nod, no, he’s looking directly at Will because in that moment for Hannibal, it’s Will that’s beautiful, it’s Will embracing his true nature that’s beautiful, it’s Will stood in front of him, gripping onto him and smiling that’s beautiful.

The Ink Demonth 2023 - Day 28. Devour

Day 28. Devour Crossover: Cult of the Lamb Exchange of experience. Is it just me or does Helob and Bendy have a lot in common and could be friends? For Sammy, in turn, the Lamb is a great shock - first of all, I suspect he didn't expect sheep to look like that (remember: from Sammy's point of view, sheep are black, two-legged, pathetic humanoid beings who can only cry and whine over their fate, occasionally professing faith in Bendy). A real sheep would shock him - and a crowned sheep who thinks they're a god... uh... BLASPHEMY!

Originally, this short comic was supposed to be for Friendship theme, but then an idea from My Little Pony came to my mind - so I moved Cult of the Lamb to the Meat theme. Then I stoped liking what I had in mind for Devour (it was supposed to be Gunther from Adventure Time, but the idea seemed flimsy to me), and at the same time I came up with something really cool for Meat - and that's how this comic ended up here. The idea to make a gif of it, I admit, stems from my laziness. I didn't feel like making a background, but I wanted this art to be cool and interesting, because it's Cult of the Lamb, which I love as much as BATIM. And so I did. Static version is here:

Some interesting facts: originally this comic was not created in the context of the Ink Demonth - and Sammy was supposed to argue with Sozo in it... But when the Ink Demonth came out, I decided to use the idea and improve it a bit. Here it is.

Do I need to mention that I recommend Cult of the Lamb? ;)

Can I touch lightly on this topic? Have you ever loved someone that is emotionally manipulative? Someone who can mentally play you like an instrument? Have you ever had someone step into your life and slowly remove others from it? This person could have truly loved you, but loved you in a way that was so silently violent it changed you. Then, by the time you realized it and tried to pull away, you found pieces of them stitched into every part of you.

Now imagine after painstakingly cutting them out, stitch by stitch, they are thrust back into your life. Even worse, you realize you love them. No matter how much grief this relationship has caused you, you crave their love. Their fucked up love. You push away healthy love for this weird battle of wills.

I would throw us both off the cliff too. It makes perfect sense.
