Can’t believe I forgot about the scene in ATBFTS where Hannibal and Will just got through their argument abt the dragon straight up attempting to murder his family at hannibals behest and he says some shit like “he craves change” And then looks at will like a kicked puppy and goes “dont you crave change?? ☹️☹️☹️☹️🥺🥺🥺🥺”

If i was Will i wouldve crashed through his little enclosure and absolutely bludgeoned him to death. Like straight up blunt force trauma so unimaginable. S3 hannibal is so fucking funny but wow if i was a character interacting with him i would be like someone put this bitch down he is ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

Can anyone point me to some good meta on And The Beast From the Sea? I just rewatched this episode and I still have problems dissecting that ending scene between Hannibal and Will.

Actually, I'm probably desperate for any meta from S3b.

Or if anyone can just point me to some blogs with lots of Hannibal meta, that would be good as well. This show gets infinitely more meaningful that way.

Do you remember Freddie Lounds' articles from the show that came out during the Red Dragon case?

If no, then here they are, because I would like to talk about them for a moment:

In the series, Will seems furious that he “had to justify himself to an eleven-year-old”, but in the book, Will was not happy about it either, as he would rather talk to his stepson (in the series: Wally, in the book: Willy) on his own terms about his past, which means killing a man (G.J. Hobbs) and being in a mental institution, but Lounds made this impossible for him.

However reading these articles, I think the questions Wally asked Will aren't the worst.

Here is the orginal script, which is also very much the same in the book:

Given that Freddie Lounds had been involved with Will's “case” from the very beginning, knew that Will and Hannibal were Abigail's surrogate fathers, that Will had followed Hannibal to Europe, and even called them “murder husbands”, Freddie could remind all of that in these articles if she wanted to, but she didn't.

If she did, the questions Wally asked Will were always could be worse, like “Dad, why is the press calling you Hannibal the Cannibal's murder husbands? And what does it mean that you had a child together????”.

Be grateful for that, Will.

Happy anniversary to the king of the monsters!

I was watching a Dino Diego video about the story behind the creation of The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms and decided to make this. Not exactly a "timeline" drawing since Godzilla is kinda unrelated to the previous monsters (who knows if that's true), but they're strangely related at the same time, being some of the first depictions of kaiju, curiously inspired by dinosaurs, and I wanted to put them together. Also, I always wanted to draw both the Rhedosaurus and the sea monster, and this was the perfect excuse (I hope Harryhausen isn't looking down on this from heaven with disapproval since he didn't liked Godzilla lol)

he has one more sex scene in ch 1 (sort of, it's complicated), and will have the chance of to redeem himself in ch 3. don't worry, there's no mc of mine whom i would condemn to a terrible sex life, like what kind of romance would that be??
