Summary:

In the distant past, the Guardian of the Milky Way galaxy named Lanancuras began to harbor a desire for more power. Because of his connection to the galaxy, he was able to absorb parts of planets and add them to his strength. As a result, he began invading the worlds he was assigned to protect. In the wake of his destruction, a following of creatures from across the galaxy pledged allegiance to Lanancuras and became known as the Kadrians. Taking notice of his ever-growing power and followers, the other Celestial Guardians confronted him; however, he had become too powerful, and they were defeated. Unable to subdue Lanancuras, the Celestial Guardians each gave up a part of their power and combined it into a single new Guardian, Mushra. In a final desperate attempt, they used Mushra's core by transforming it into a powerful card with which to seal Lanancuras in a prison. The prison was created from the remains of planets that had suffered under Lanancuras' tyranny. Because planets are themselves large beings, their combined strength (along with the power of the card) was able to restrain him. Thus Lanancuras was successfully sealed in a large meteorite.

The meteorite was sent off into the galaxy to be sealed forever. Meanwhile, the way Lanancuras had increased his strength had consequences on the planets of the Milky Way On Earth, around the 22nd century, it was in the shape of a virus that merged with human DNA and destroyed the humans that way. In order to eliminate the virus, scientists worked on combining human DNA with the DNA of animals and other creatures immune to the effects. They succeeded and created a sentient race known as Enterrans (a race of engineered Earthlings) which are based on humans, insects, reptiles, birds, sea creatures, wild beasts, and phantom beasts. Eventually, a cure was found and the human race survived.

However, due to Lanancuras' influence, the Enterrans fought their human creators as well as the robots that worked with the humans, driving the human race to a near extinction state. Luckily, a scientist named Dr. Daigo Tatsuro placed his 4-year-old daughter Yakumo in a sleep chamber in hopes that she would save the human race and find the human sanctuary Shinzo and bring peace back to Earth which was then renamed to Enterra. When the meteor that Lanancuras was imprisoned in struck Earth during the earlier parts of the Human-Enterran War, its fragment had struck an infant Yakumo giving her abilities that she would later discover.

The rapid fire insults & insane ass expressions are so them like of course scaramouche would say "Un mata e outro enterra" or "Este está mas fumado que un puto salmón ahumado" (you don't have to understand what im saying I'm just delulu and insane) and of course kuki would curse the fuck out of itto's entire family, being, family tree, and all the stars in the sky after he gets in trouble. She would, absolutely, watch that very specific genre of show in Spanish that's just five dudes doing dumb shit around the world and laugh their ass off while imagining itto and the gang doing that. Scara and Kuki would absolutely fight over the tv remote during 5pm because it's time for Scara's telenovela but Kuki wants to watch formula 1 because they missed it yesterday. It's just so them and I don't know how to explain it

Yakumo Tatsuro, the daughter of Dr. Daigo Tatsuro, the man who helped create the Enterran race, was only a five year old child when placed into the robotic creature, Hakuba, for her own safety. The capsule she lived in was only supposed to sustain her in a sleep for fifty years, but malfunctioned and allotted her to live for over five hundred. When she awoke, she was the last human on Enterra as a seventeen year old girl, entrusted with the quest to find Shinzo, the very last sanctuary for humans in a time when the rest had been killed off by Enterrans.

At first, she was alone and only knew to travel to the West, but then encountered three Enterrans that became her best friends: Mushra, Sago, and Kutal. The four of them, accompanied by her robotic steed of sorts, Hakuba, searched out Shinzo, and in doing so, awakened the power within Yakumo that she had absorbed as a child from a gem from a metorite that held the entity Lanacuras (Planet Consumer and reason for humanity’s extinction).

Discovering her telepathic powers, Yakumo refused to use them for violence, abhorring the thought of doing so, until the day came when the Enterran who had killed her race came from the past (with the help of seven Enterran Generals whom had helped destroy humanity in the first place) and tried to kill friends and destroy the world once more. The Demon Mushrambo was born into the world, seeking to kill off the last human. This was the only time when she used her powers against him, and in his defeat, the timeline was reset, and the human race returned, as if it had never left.

In this new timeline, Yakumo had more control over her powers, able to create powerful shields and used her gifts to hold back Lanacuras, who now poised to rise up now that humanity restored. Yakumo eventually sacrificed herself to weaken the dark being and her death paved the way for her friends to defeat him. Her power was lent to them from beyond her death, and although the ultimate Enterran warrior, her knight, Mushrambo, had been defeated, Mushra, her closest friend and protector, rose up and unlocked his once godly powers which allowed the defeat of the Planet Eater and called for peace across Enterra. However, in doing so, it had caused a piece of the sun to spurt off, and in one final act, Mushra took the fallen Lanancuras to stop it. In doing so, he sacrificed himself, but not before Yakumo visited in spirit to him, telling him that she had finally found Shinzo. With him, she ascended to the heavenly place of Shinzo and reunited with her family in death.

Mushra, however, was returned to Enterra, picking up a Guardian Card, and left to travel the world in search of his friends, while Yakumo’s spirit rested in the afterlife.

She thought she would be able to be happy in this paradise, but when Mushra was returned to Enterra, the after life seemed as if something was missing that Yakumo could not put her finger on. The days seemed to draw on, and the girl could not find solace in her paradise. This was noticed by the Guardians who watched over Shinzo.

The Celestial Beings, guardians of the universe, found Yakumo’s bravery to be commendable in life and in deserving of reward. Due to her life within a capsule, they knew her short, human life had not been fulfilled, and could foresee the need for her again. Sensing these and her desires, they created her a body in her own image on Enterra and returned her soul back to the form, causing her to come back to life. However, it came at a price: Her memories became scattered, she losing many of the visions of her past to the void of space. She can only remember glimpses, such as her friends, and also recalls events from both timelines. If she tries to remember too much at once, she will feel faint and may black out, erasing the memories she obtained.

The Celestial Beings were kind when they realized their inability to help her more. They gave Yakumo a task to remember: To find Shinzo. In doing so, she could find the key to unlocking her mind.

Since her reawakening, Yakumo has begun traveling across Enterra with to seek out her other friends and her memories along the road to Shinzo. However, it seems that the power from one of the cards, the Time Witch Rusephine, has permeated through the world since her destruction. Now, Yakumo and her friends tend to find themselves sucked through various portals in time, granting them the chance to make new bonds and friendships throughout the world.

I have four ‘main’ verses to play on. When interacting with Yakumo, characters will be placed into one of these verses.

Verse One: Main Verse/Shinzo Verse. Set of the blog for asks, and any occurrences with characters within the world of Shinzo. Yakumo regains her memories with time and interactions with people within the world of Shinzo. (Tag: V1; We’re going to Shinzo!)

Verse Two: Second Verse/Beckon Verse (Because people are ‘beckoned’ to the world of Shinzo). This is the verse encounters those who come to the world of Shinzo (Enterra) from external universes. In this verse, as Yakumo slowly realizes her powers, she regains memories. (Tag: V2; Welcome to Enterra!)

Verse Three: Third Verse/Portal Verse (Because she goes through portals to other worlds). This is a verse is one in which Yakumo is transported to a different time/universe through the means of time/space portals created by an Enterran General, Rusphine. This is used for anyone she meets outside the Shinzo world. Memories are regained as she realizes more of her powers while in the other world.(Tag: V3; Where’s West?)

Verse Four: Fourth Verse/Memories Verse. This a verse for a Yakumo who has all of her memories and never lost them on her return to Enterra. This verse can mix into any of the other verses, but is only available by request. This Yakumo is vastly different than the one normal encountered on the blog and has full control of her power. (Tag: V4; Guardian Soul)

“Hey, Big Sis? Why’d’ya keep makin’ goofy faces at Avos when his back’s turned?” Keidynn’s a bit suspicious now that she keeps staring at Avos like she does. It’s weird. “D’ya feel sick or somethin’ ‘cause I don’t think starin’ at ‘im’s gonna help that.”

Since the moment Avos had joined their group, Koya had been changing slowly, but surely. Times when she would berate Gil for being too pacifistic were instead let go as simply, “okay, Mom, whatever you say.” Any time there was a stream and a chance to be in it, Koya would offer to take her bath first rather than Gil having to throw her and Keidynn into the water. Even so far as a passing town, the girl had obtained a brush to move through her hair, rather than allowing it to remain tangled in her ponytail.

Things she didn’t mind doing—they felt nice, actually—but had never given much thought to before.

As she combed through her hair, her gaze had settled along Avos’ back. Strong, broad shoulders, the thin tail that swung side to side. He had been helping Gil out with the tents as she sat back to watch, her mind drifting slightly. What if Avos looked her way? What if he embraced her?

Keidynn’s voice nearly made her scream as the boy not only pulled her out of her thoughts, but also was loud enough for the Bull to hear, if he wanted to. Koya dropped her brush in favor of spinning around and clamping her hand over the cub’s mouth, the entirety of her face crimson as her other arm moved around him to lock him in place.

“Will you shut up, Turd?” She hissed, turning wholly away from Gil and Avos, ducking her head as she lowered her voice. “I’m not making any weird faces! I was just thinkin’! About…About stuff! About…gettin’ to that birdbrain Osiris who only lets me have a single feather that someone,” Koya’s tone was pointed towards the captive in her arms. “Made me break.”

Slowly she began to release him, but only to adjust and pick back up her brush at gesture it at him. “Now, get weird ideas out of your head before I throw you in the river and brush you down.”

The tugging and chirring of the little nymph roused the old Warbred from his fitful sleep. He wanted just a little longer, but the child was insistent. And so he went to see what, exactly, his adoptive son had found. In an arch within the old ruins the Great Kingdom Tree grew around, there was a gateway, a steady one. Khosa lead him through it. The cold air hitting him in comparison to the hot, humid jungle environment he had been in moments before was... startling, and he found it a little harder to draw breath. Especially as he realized they were in the mountain tops. “Khosaan, we should go.. oh.” He turned, to see what the nymph was pointing at. A massive... he didn’t know what it was, but it seemed to not feel well. “Alright, alright, we can help ... whatever it is..” He said. He made his way back through the gateway, brewed up some medicinal tea, using medicinal herbs, nectar from some wild sweetbloom he’d found, for sweetness, resin from a tree for its soothing properties and pleasant, woody aroma, and the juice of a fruit that could be, somewhat, compared to a lemon. Soothing, nice and fragrant. It has some herbs the elder uses for his own creeky joints and to help with his injuries. So he figures it will likely help. The elder recognized age when he saw it.  His voice was a bit gruff, from lack of interaction; but, also, his Warbred nature. Like the strange growl of a great beast forced to form words. “Here... have some tea. It’ll help.” He said. Perhaps a bit awkwardly. He didn’t even know if this old creature could speak, but he saw the cane nearby. If it could create and use a cane, it was likely intelligent... The clay pot was hand made, sealed with natural waxes from plants that grew around his home. It had some charring and blackened marks on the bottom, meaning the tea had likely been brewed right in it before the leaves were strained out.  The entire time, the young child watched with his head tilted and antennae flicking all around to try to figure out what this creature was. A gaze unusually intelligent for one so young; not that Geode would see it.  The scent of these creatures is... cold. Strange. Otherworldly, Eldritch. Voidic. But also somewhat insectoid. The child has a slightly sweeter scent; while the elder smells like some sort of carnivore with a natural musk to it.

Day 23: Booger

Geode's feverish thoughts wandered back to the enderman he had hobbled after two days before. The enderman was sniffling an awful lot...maybe that was where he had picked up such an illness.

The virus Geode had become infected with was usually a very mild case of the sniffles for most wardens and endermen. It could be quite devastating for the very young and very old, though...

He curled up in his sculk nest and shivered away, too sick to find food or garden or anything.

Meet Tiavel! He is a Lepidian, a race from a world called Enterra that resemble anthro moths! He stumbled through a portal and ended up in another world. He’s done quite well for himself, and tends to use stealth and his little wings to get him through the world! He is half Northern Silkweaver, and he got his pudge, small size, and weak wings from  his mother’s side! I can not fly, but he can flutter and cling to walls. He does have a strange secret about him that even he doesn’t know the origin of!  He prefers to use various magical items rather than armor, because he’s very light and armor is heavy. He usually wears a backpack with a unique enchantment on it that allows it to carry a lot of stuff without being too heavy for him.

He preferrs ranged attacks over melee, since he’s small and light. Tiavel is askable!

Physical appearance:

Koyakumo has long, waist length pinkish/purple hair that is normally either worn loose with a ribbon in if she’d being casual, or in a high ponytail if she’s in a fight, using the ribbon to tie it up. Her bangs are cut to be above her eyebrows and parted slightly off center. Koya has blue eyes and a petite build but is extremely athletic with no discernable markings aside from a couple of hairline scars on her arms and legs.

Her normal attire is a black sleeveless jumpsuit that halts at her knees, with orange piecewise armor that consists of a breast plate, shoulder pads, and a belt with flank shields for her thighs. Each piece of armor has a purple abstract shaped jewel on it. She wears orange shoes that have seven arrow markings towards her toes that radiate out in a semi-circle from a purple jewel on the top of her foot and cut off at her ankle. She wears fingerless black gloves. (Face claim is Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari and her armor is an emulation of her father's, Mushra from Shinzo)

Personality:

A generally good hearted and happy girl, Koyakumo tends to be rambunctious and occasionally over the top. She has a short temper and easily grows jealous and pouts, she also always ensures that whatever is happening, the people she cares about come first. Don’t ever hurt a loved one! Koyakumo is always ready for a fight and is highly competitive. Easily distracted and tends to look to the positive, a goal of hers to be considered the strongest Hybrid of all time.

Story:

In 2250, the world was struck with a meteor that killed off half the humans both with an impact and a virus that had been released upon the world. The humans, led by Doctor Daigo Tatsuro, created a new race of beings called Enterrans, made from humans with supplemented animal DNA to combat the virus. However, rather than helping, the Enterrans rebelled against the humans and waged war, eliminating all but one human.

This human had been placed in a cryogenic sleep for five hundred years and awoke in the year 2753. This human realized that she was alone, but had a mission: Find Shinzo and restore humanity across the world that had been dubbed Enterra. In the end, it turned out that Shinzo had been a city of humans that had also been put to sleep and had been taken over by the being that had come to Enterra via the meteor: Lanancuras. A battle was waged between the last human and her friends and in the wake of Lanancuras’ defeat, the humans were woken from their sleep.

Five years passed and the human and Enterran bore a child: Koyakumo, known as Koya. Daughter of the planet’s saviors, she was raised under both her pacifistic mother, Yakumo, and the champion of Enterra, Mushra, in a city where all humans and Enterrans could live peacefully that her parents established called Shindou.

As she grew, thanks to her father’s training, she became well equipped with the use of the Monkey Fist, a ball and chain weapon, and became friends with the children of the Enterran generals who owned parts of the world under their domains. Particularly, she grew fond of the Bird Queen’s son, Osiris and they became friends as he essentially babysat her for years, the two developing their powers and abilities.

Which, as time went on, Koya began to realize she had not inherited her father’s powers of Hyper Form or fire element.

Not any less determined, Koya began to participate in martial arts tournaments and became stronger and able to take on opponents much larger than herself. Gaining a name for herself, she realized that Enterra was not enough to see and train herself. Her friend Osiris had the ability to use his feathers to cross time and space.

Packing her off with a bag of feathers, her father’s coronet, and mother’s blessing, Osiris continuously helped Koya move through the various times and dimension to meet new people and explore everything the universe has for her with his feathers, using them to communicate as well as open new portals to visit new worlds.

However, not all goes as one expect.

One particular trip to a new world had her land on place called Eorzea. She took on tutelage under Louisoix Leveilleur for three years, taking on the name of 'Koyakumo Shindou' until such the day that the Sixth Astral Era came to an end with the presence of Bahamut.

With the last of Louisoix’s power, she was sent into the rift to save her and several others. The magic from her teacher mixed poorly with the feather that had brought her to the world, causing her to lose her memories of her time on her home, Enterra. Her body was flung five years later, although only aged a few years instead, with little knowledge of her life on Hydaelyn or Enterra aside from the fact that she was not quite the Hume that her race seemed to be.

Through trials, victories and defeats, Koyakumo Shindou came to know through struggles of reclaiming her strength as a Warrior of Light. Years began to pass and any notion to return to Enterra became a farfetched ideal with those who needed help in the Source and the First.

Rather than focusing on finding a way home, she took to studying all of the various battle classes she could, finding herself honing her skills as she works to saving Eorzea, the First, and all those who look to her as the Warrior of Light and the Warrior of Darkness.

Koya’s current main class is Monk, but she is at peaks for Dragoon, Dancer, Ninja, Paladin, and Red Mage. All others are simply dabbled in and she is currently working on.
