Old Chinese houses are an inexhaustible creative space in terms of wooden interiors. To me, something alike is associated with childhood memories of a countryside house in Zhejiang.

A highly personal batterie de cuisine - a lifetime's collection of wooden spoons and spatulas plus the odd ladle. Bowls act as "nests" for cookie cutters and suchlike small clutter. The logic here is compellingly simple - if you want to stash something where it will be remembered, leave it to hand and it is more likely to be used.

Wooden Terrace House

Pawson Furniture Collection is a minimalist furniture series created by John Pawson for Dinesen. This collection marks the pinnacle of a 30-year collaboration between Dinesen and Pawson. Their relationship began in 1992 when Pawson commissioned Dinesen for his Notting Hill home, using uncut Douglas fir planks for the flooring and creating bespoke furniture from the same wood.
