A part of the frame of USS Niagara (1813) on display at the National Museum of the Great Lakes.

While I have known about the USS Niagara that still sails the Great Lakes, until relatively recently I thought she was entirely a modern replica and not the original vessel—although the "original" part can be disputed after so many extensive restorations (Niagara was also sunk in 1820 and raised in 1913).

I’m so happy these wood Pikmin pins are a hot item in my store so far this year! wanderlingworld.etsy.com This is one of my first pin designs! These are wooden pins, made from fast growing sustainably sourced wood. Wood pins use 20-24 times less energy to produce than enamel pins and reduce carbon emissions by one third! Plus they look super cute! I still play Pikmin Bloom regularly, so I wanted to create a pin that captured the vibe with tiny Pikmin buddies peeking out from some flowers. The trick was picking flower colors that made the lil guys stand out! I also really enjoyed Pikmin 3 and am super excited about Pikmin 4 coming later this year! Will you be playing? Anyone else still playing Pikmin Bloom?

I bought a bag of fake moss from ebay for decoration but they sent me what seems to be a bag of real moss that’s just been dried out???

Like they specifically say it is fake, artificial moss and describe the material as “plastic” but there is no fucking way, it smells earthy and when I put water on it it visibly perked up and became soft and fluffy. What do I do with a bag of dehydrated real moss??? It’s from China so I don’t even think I can just chuck it outside bc I don’t wanna introduce a species of moss??????
