Options For Canine Miraculous

Official Miraculous Number: 14

Option One would expand Fox to work off all 3 canines, having powers and tools of those two, and Trixx may share powers and tools depending on who she's facing (someone creative and deceptive would get Mirage while another that's more dexterous would get Fetch).

Option Two would have 2 canine based Miraculous, working off dogs and wolves and their unique history and having quite a few similarities in symbolism and myth.

Option Three would just have all 3 exist and their differences would be covered.

In the What If scenario, what would happen if Marinette and Adrien had received Graay and Prrysm instead of Tikki and Plagg ? I know Graay don't like humans, but he would try to hurt Marinette without a reason ?

Graay would not hurt Marinette. When it comes to humans he's actually very fond of children. With teenagers he'd still be pretty aloof as he is with most humans, but he wouldn't hurt them. However this would only remain in place until they were older, in which it would become dangerous for Marinette to keep using his Miraculous. I don't think he'd hate Marinette on any level, but I also don't think he'd want to keep partnering with her either once she was older.

Flipping around your What If scenario a bit, I think Graay and Adrien would be an interesting pairing. I think Graay would be a lot more open with Adrein, seeing as Adrien himself is very much caged and controlled, which I feel Graay could connect with and probably care for Adrien on a deeper level than he'd let himself with most humans. Graay still wouldn't want a holder, but I think he'd do better with Adrien out of the two of them.

As for Prrysm, she'd do great with either of the kids. She would be a light in Adrien's life, though she'd absolutely hate the routine of the Agreste Manor. On the other hand I think she'd totally mess around with Gabriel and Nathalie's things, which both she and Adrien would find hilarious. Marinette would probably be very overwhelmed with Prrysm at first, but I think Chaos combined with her creativity would make them a very powerful duo on the battlefield. Completely unpredictable with just as crazy of plans as in canon.

Long time we haven't done any kwami discussion:) Thought of a question:

You gave the Butterfly the additional power to steal powers. While I get that the Butterfly should be a second layer, doesn't it make it overpowered? Its main power is already quite impressive. Through, I don't really know what else the additional power could be. Technically the canon power of empathy could be it?

(A power to steal powers is a cool one on itself, could be another kwami. Or, could you remind what is the Wolf's second power other than shape shifting? Could work there since the Wolf is a kwami of Imitation? Through, for a kwami of Imitation it would better be copying powers, and stealing is a different thing)

Yeah, the butterfly is really op. I based the first power on the concept (Transmission) and basically reversed the second power. Metamorphosis gives someone power and Exploit takes it away. Now, if I change the concept, while keeping Metamorphosis then the first power would probably change, though I don't know to what.

No, that's technically a feature of the peacock's first power (and its passive ability in general)

The wolf's first power is movement imitation and the second power is appearance imitation. Power stealing also doesn't work for it.

Maybe it could be a unification power, the ant and lion. But there's still the issue of replacing it.

Lycana

This is an oc holder of the Wolf Miraculous (a charm bracelet, visible on her wrist). She calls herself Lycana (the greek word 'lycan', which means wolf, with an 'a' at the end), and her civilian identity is Daciana Lopez.

Design-wise, I just really wished there were more Miraculous Holders with hoods, because it's a really cool look. I chose dark grey-blues because I wanted colour but I also wanted something that was still recognisable as 'wolf'. Her transformation pose is a little simplistic, I know, but I'm not good at complex poses and didn't want to mess up while doing this.

I'm quite happy with how her jacket-thingy turned out, and I'm proud of myself for thinking of her belt-buckle design.

Now onto the Wolf Miraculous itself.

I've already mentioned that it takes the form of a charm bracelet, and that charm bracelet is connected to Howll, the Kwami of Unity. Transformation phrase is "Howll, join the pack!" and destransformation phrase is "Lone wolf". Special ability is 'Teamup', which allows the user to compell 1-5 people to join their cause.

What are Jagrr and Raavi's personalities like?

Jagrr primarily works off the lone wolf trope, making him aloof and difficult to work off of, and he does toe the line of the "big bad wolf" and can be the most antagonistic kwami, believing that you have to do what you must, no room for a soft heart. In the kwami community, he's a little infamously known as the Warden. He also has the biggest appetite and technically is the crankiest, much of it is due to his power needing to be in use 24/7.

Raavi will actually be getting a name change to work off his powers better, but at the core, he is inquisitive, nosy, clever, and mischievous. He's always up for a good prank and likes to roll with oddity and chaos. He likes to see what makes humans tick, to see those inner thoughts and feelings rolled out before him.
