Tecna is the best. Hands down, 10/10. I don’t care if they threw it together at the last minute to avoid backlash, give whoever designed her a goddamn raise. The bob with purple streaks, the vinyl skirt, it’s so perfect I can’t handle it. Me to Reboot Tecna:

My girl Musa is an official SHORT QUEEN, a popular headcannon that’s been going for years. I’m thrilled someone finally listened. Her iconic pigtails are also back, which is a bonus is my book (do they kinda look like Marinette’s from Miraculous? Yes, because Rainbow’s gotta steal one thing per season for Winx). The outfit isn’t my favorite, but better than others I’ve seen her in. A very respectable 8.5/10.

Rainbow’s art department raised enough money for brown paint, which is great news for Aisha! No more whitewashing! Her braids are stellar, her look is sporty, just very cute in general. The color scheme is very different from her original look, but I like it. Give Aisha bright colors. Let her be happy. And now tallest girl? 9/10

Flora’s look is the most similar to the OG series. Really the only difference is that weird ass green jacket - thing looks like it came off a one-day Project Runway challenge. It seems waaaay too structured compared to the rest of the outfit. That’s legit my only note. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I guess. 7.5/10

Bloom’s look says 2 things; “I’m Bella Thorne from Shake It Up!,” and Certified Horse Girl™️. I do not vibe with either. Bloom is not either. Why is she in pink again? Why is her belt so big - Bloom is so impatient and always in a rush, do you think she has time to put a belt on every day? I get the skirt is paying homage to the S3 one, but the rest is…a choice. This would be lower if Bloom wasn’t my favorite character. But she is, and it’s not the worst look. 6/10.

No, no, the worst look here is your favorite Solarian princess and mine, Stella. I get Rainbow was trying for a new look, but it doesn’t land for me. I don’t like the sunglasses, I don’t like that her dress is pink because that’s never really been Stella’s primary color - it’s more Flora and Tecna’s (and now Bloom’s I guess because UGH). She’s also wearing sleeves, which Stella rarely wore in the series because she is the fairy of the sun and I always thought that was a cool wardrobe detail. The only times she’s worn long sleeves (as a primary outfit in the season) were in S6 with her Alfea uniform, and Season 8, which barely counts. Just…make it orange. Or yellow, or even blue. It would fix so much. 5/10 for doing this ray of sunshine so dirty.

Also, if we can afford new civilian and transformation outfits for the girls, we can do the same for Ogron and the Black Circle. C’mon guys. Also! Why does Ogron have a dark dragon? What the fuck does that mean? Please do not pull a S8 Valtor on the Wizards. They don’t deserve it. And probably get Duman in there before the fans come after you.

The only thing that inspires optimism is if they could give kiss Gal/El so easily, does it mean that they will be more free with Haladriel in the future and make them more romantic? Otherwise it will be a bit hypocritical on the part of the showrunners

Yeah, honestly that was my main takeaway from that scene as well! Obviously it served its own purpose within the plot, ie fooling the orcs, but I couldn’t find any trace of romance in their kiss.

It also helps that TROP as a show is very intentional when it comes to evoking romantic undertones in a certain dynamic, and Elrond and Galadriel have been established as friends throughout two whole seasons. I see no reason why they’d want to abruptly change that now when there’s still plenty of time for Celebrian to show up in future seasons.

On the other hand, the Elrond kiss was a small but very bold move that made absolutely no one happy, which of course bodes well for the future of Galadriel and Sauron. Now that they’ve made it clear that they’re no longer shy about breaking the lore, the door is standing WIDE open for all kinds of possibilities when it comes to their ‘cosmic connection’!

It wasn't the same as nerves, only sensing the electric currents given off by everyone else's nervous system instead of any degree of temperature or pressure or texture or the usual sensations that real skin offered, but the very idea of getting some amount of sensation back had been too exciting to pass up, especially with Valentino eager to help him run the beta test on it.

Hello wire-smith! I'm so curious, when did you get into wirecrafting? What inspired you?

Really it was more of a... progression. When I was bored in middle school I used to scavenge dropped paper clips from the floor and bend them into neat shapes to keep myself amused. But teachers don't drop that many paper clips so eventually I started buying my own. But paper clips are too short to build much besides stick figures and rubber-band-powered crossbows so eventually I bought some longer wire to let me build other things. But beading wire is so thin that it's basically invisible at a distance so I started planning space-filling designs and buying thicker wire to support larger projects... And a few more steps later, here we are!

Basically I'm a tinkerer who likes technical challenges and I'm a magpie who likes shiny things, and wire is more approachable than most other forms of metalwork.

But if I ever draw transmasc Axl I will, and honestly if I ever draw Happy Chaos at all he'll definitely have them haha I really like how it looks when they're colored the same orange as his other markings, they compliment his design super well. Probably Venom too, if I drew him. So many people draw him with top surgery scars that sometimes I forget he doesn't actually have them LOLL

Recently I've been thinking about how Izuna would be really cool as a canon transmasc character too, what with his lore involving the data of a woman that got crushed by the Backyard mingling with Izuna's data while he was forming and all. It could be an interesting way to play with gender concepts in a uniquely Guilty Gear setting. Izuna's design would work really well with top surgery scars/markings too, since he already has some markings on his chest. Just shuffle them around a bit haha

Thanks!! It was my spine. I picked up a big plastic container full of heavy hardback books that I was helping my mom go donate but I lifted with my back instead of my knees and, well, there it went!!

Between each of your vertebrae are these squishy discs and I had two of those in my lower back squirt out of place. IIRC the one actually burst but the other one just bulged a little. My left foot was paralyzed and the rest of my left leg lost some feeling from the discs pushing against my sciatic nerve (the nerve that runs along the spine), and my doctor AND physical therapist both had very serious discussions with me about how it was Very Possible that I wouldn't ever be able to walk right again. Somehow or another I physical therapy flexed enough and have feeling/movement in my left foot again. It was wild!! They did shots directly into my spine. Would Not Recommend. For the love of every beautiful thing on this Earth please, please, pick up heavy boxes lifting with your legs and not with your back lol

There are still some days where it can be kinda ehhhhh but I do daily yoga and a shit ton of ab and back exercises to keep it in line. Literally in line. Strong back muscles keep it all together like a strong tortilla holding in burrito contents lmao
