Note
The generalized Connections Are:
Tenya Vs A-Train (MHA & The BOYS): Blue colored speedsters that are heroes, with the contrast being that A-Train is a drug addict and is basically a villain in disguise.
Ragyo vs Lusamine (Kill La Kill vs Pokemon) Bad Mothers with an unhealthy obsession over an alien lifeform. (Lusamine wins the parenting contest by a mile though.
Sailor Mercury vs Techa (Sailor Moon vs Winx Club) Smartest girls of their respective Magical Girl group, with their development coming from gaining self-confidence. (Most abridged summary, gonna have to do more research on both)
Sans vs Judge (Undertale vs OFF) Final Bosses in rpgs that effectively break the fourth wall and judge the player for their actions. They both care about their brothers, and don’t take a side most of the time until the very end of the game.
First off toss Sonic into that first category
secondly my note on the Mercury v Tecna:
While Mercury's development was the 'shy one who gains more confidence through friendship and being a Hero', that wasn't Tecna's. Tecna was entirely confident in herself and her abilities. Her biggest tripup was more about being emotional and communicating those emotions, as she's a very logical person and can shut down her own feelings and unintentionally shut down others as well in favor of 'logic'.

If you didn’t see my previous post of magic in my rewrite (abridged) then this might not make a whole lot of sense so here’s the link (I’m on mobile so idk how to make this any smaller)
Anyway,
The magic types of the main cast and their alignments:
The Winx Club:
Aisha
Alignment: Fairy
Magic types: Water, Air
Bloom
Alignment: Fairy
Magic types: Primal, Faunal
(I gotta just add that Bloom both found her familiar before she was 1 and also was given the dragon flame at the age of 1 so her magic is a little weird and didn’t manifest itself properly)
Flora
Alignment: Fairy (considered Wizardry at one point)
Magic types: Floral, Ground
Musa
Alignment: Fairy
Magic types: Sound, Mind
Roxy
Alignment: Fairy (greatly considered Witchcraft)
Magic types: Animal, Air, Shapeshifting
Stella
Alignment: Fairy (though there was a time she considered Witchcraft)
Magic types: Light, Space, Dark
The potential is there to learn Fire and Ice
Tecna
Alignment: Fairy (she was once trying to be a Wizard)
Magic types: Electricity, Ground
The Specialists (+Nabu):
Sky
Alignment: none (yet)
Magic types: Ground, Mind
Brandon
Alignment: none
Magic types: Ground, Fire
Timmy
Alignment: started down Wizardry but has stopped all progress
Magic types: Electricity, Dark, Fungal
Riven
Alignment: at the moment, Wizard but just barely
He considered Wizardry and took a bit of time to try it, though has since been looking into Witchcraft
Magic types: Dark, Space
Helia
Alignment: Wizard
Magic types: Air, Floral, Light, Fire
has the potential to learn Ground and Water
Nabu
Alignment: Wizard
Magic types: Light, Dark, Water
The Trix:
Icy
Alignment: Witch
Magic types: Ice, Space
Darcy
Alignment: Witch
Magic types: Dark, Mind
Stormy
Alignment: Witch
Magic types: Electricity, Air
That’s everyone for now! I might do a speed round sometime with Alfea/Cloudtower/Red Fountain staff and some other notable characters, but for now that’s everyone.

@riven-has-bomb-ass-eyelashes replied to your post “@riven-has-bomb-ass-eyelashes It's just not...”:
I think I get it. The Cinélume is like an anime adaptation that follows the same overall beats of the og manga. But it cuts/modifies many details that you see as important. When you're very detail-oriented and can see how these little changes recontextualize the whole story, it can start to drive you up the wall. You can't vibe with our rewrites because you want a proper rewrite of the source material and, put frankly, we've never even watched it. That's totally fair!
Close! Cinelume is like a faithful dub of an anime done on a low budget, maybe for a home release something that was common in the 90s everywhere, in the anglosphere and in Europe, Italy included. Just doing an average dub to add up to the anime dvd catalogue for some publisher, except Rainbow wanted the Cinelume dub to properly own an english dub and rebroadcast it in case 4kids went down, and well the Cinelume dub is still legally available and was even in Italian and French DVDs as an extra language.
It's not a censored dub, it's not an abridged dub making stuff up, it's just doing the bare minimum in following the original. You also have to consider timing in dialogue, matching the lip synch, untranslateable jokes and idioms (NO dub, absolutely not a single one worldwide, has translated Stella's joke in s2e2 about the whale's ass, because it's a vulgar italian idiom that makes no sense left in literally!), translation errors, the author's intention, getting the tone of the original dialogue right when acting... It's just a heavily watered down version of Winx Club. Remember Tecna's "death"? No english dub got it right, while dubs that followed the original Italian mostly did. Spanish dub here for comparison (I am mister worldwide), same dialogue as italian.
Tumblr media
However, when Bloom screams, it's Musa's "NO!" being overimposed instead! A dubbing error! So even other dubs have issues and can't be trusted either. As I said above, there's always something lost in translation, timing to fit and so on and in this case there can be mistakes adding up.
And that is a single scene. Imagine whole episodes. I'm going to rewatch all of s1 first and translate it in my little doc before getting to subbing and I will compare my translation to cinelume, depending on what's more natural and what they got right or wrong.
Anime gets misinterpretation and misconceptions thrown around all the time, BUT it has tons of translators around, some more qualified than others. Winx Club didn't get such a privilege

winxhilarating is a concept that exists.
for those who don’t know: it’s a parody of winx club that attempts to be a cheesy/so-bad-it’s good magical comedy. it’ll probably have the first episode be season 1 episodes 1 and 2 together and then the rest of the show is season 2 stuff
tecna’s bri’ish because bri’ish tecna is the best tecna musa’s gangstah and maybe would have a new jersey accent or somethin aisha? WE HAVEN’T GOTTEN TO HER YET flora sounds like she’s speaking under her breath all the time  stella is mostly into luxury clothing, gets fed up easily, and is also pretty frickin’ sassy in this parody bloom is NOT YOUR AVERAGE REDHEAD
this parody concept is heavily influenced by the winx abridged show/TWAS and contains a lot of lego island references
there’s also a few references to the singsational magic doll line AKA the best winx club doll collection ever smh
still unsure about what the opening should be, i’m thinking a parody of We Are the Winx (4kidz theme) some episodes and a parody of Under the Sign of Winx (RAI theme) some episodes... or the Friends theme (I’ll Be There For You).... or maybe something else i don’t know- GIVE ME IDEAS FOR THAT PART
it’s... something i’ve had in mind since i first discovered TWAS
it’s...
it’s really something innit

All the petty things I hate about fate!winx and their shitty universe/world building because
Tumblr media
I'd added most if these in tags of other posts but I'm still so mad lmao
The way characters, Aisha and Mrs Dowling specifically make references to explicitly human or American things like instagram and Harry Potter
These people are from a different dimension for ffs why are they concerned with or are even aware of this very earth-specific shit? Do they teach earth classes at school over there?
I understand not wanting to have them be oblivious so Bloom wouldn't have to explain it to them, but it simply could be ✨omitted✨
Why would you go out of your way to date your work like this lmao ew
Ms. Dowling calling Tinkerbell an air fairy.. I cannot breeve with the stupidity why did they keep that in there
Why is Ms. Dowling.. the headmistress.. teaching classes? Where are the other teachers?
We ended up with a trio of antagonists (I guess you could call them that?) by the end of the season anyway so why not give us the trix, why have the characters play double roles as friends of our protagonists and also the villains/bullies? They clearly wanted a delinquent trio, in which case they could've gender bent the trix if they wanted to keep all the unnecessary sexual tension.
It just feels like the production team was lazy, they didn't want to hire more actors, they didn't want to bother with making the world immersive or lived in or believable at best, they just didn't give enough of a fuck
They wanted to make this show and attatch Winx to it for.. what? Like did you even google the main plot points? The abridged version or sparknotes to get details on the very literal, basic characteristics of our main characters or their roles or the world they inhabit????
It lacks wonder and intrigue.. I mean Bloom moves to another dimension, a school for fairies and we don't see her marvel once at anything.. and that's because she might as well have been in Switzerland because she's in exactly the same environment she would've been in over there anyway.
They could've said Alfea was in Europe and I'd believe it because nothing about the setting makes it feel otherworldly. I'm sorry but I'm not impressed.
Why do the teachers and graduated specialists communicate via facetime ?? In the magic dimension. ??? Why do they text each other and those texts then appear on screen like .. oh look, like a bad netflix teen movie ????? HELLO ??? it's the way technology and magic could've blended in so seamless into the world THE WAY IT WAS ALREADY DONE/SHOWN. Missed opportunity. it just takes you out of it imo every time you see the ugly, bland, gray text bar. Some fucking flavour pls I'm begging
How stupid the specialist must feel clonking around with the skinniest shreds of armor, plastic swords on their backs and battery powered flashlights and cellphones in their bags. R we larping?? I know I'd be laughing and asking why we hadn't already come up with something more effective .. idk like guns. I'm surprised I ain't see one gun in there.
In the beginning Ms. Dowling says some nonsense about fairies having lost the ability to transform to explain why there are no wings, which means they could've transformed before. So are we to assume that this supposed to be set in the time proceeding the original then?? Because something is not adding up with where they should be as a magical society technologically if that's the case
How does the production team want to keep the dark academia vibes with torches lining the walls and also want them to be face timing each other, presumably from miles and miles away in the dark forest???
Pls pick an aesthetic and stick to it everything was so unnecessarily dark. Where do they charge their phones since it's the only device we see that is the slightest bit modern and dont fucking tell me they charge it with magic I will punch you in the face
Why is there only one major monarchy that we are shown? Why are Solaria the only ones contributing to the efforts to defend the school and where is this mysterious battalion we never see lmaoo it's all so bad its laughable.
Is this set in the kingdom of Solaria? And why does the queen of an alleged interdimensional superpower monarchy pull up in black SUVs??????????? Why does she pull up with Andreas?? Is he not the king of Erakleon?? Where are his soldiers and his battalion and just?? Huh!? The world just feels empty like nobody lives here fr
Are we supposed to believe that the specialists get paired up with fairies just as a normal occurence and that they have to 'trust each other' and not because the plot demands it suddenly half way through when all we've seen so far are the fairies doing normalish school and homework, and the specialists outside, being physical everyday all day. This was never even implied that they'd have to work together apart from when we see the faculty as youngins with Rosalind. But even then.. it's like well why are they even together lmao? Is this a special team formed from Rosalind’s protégées? Were they formed after graduating from Alfea or what is this?? Are they the ONLY team of specialist/fairies hunting every single burned one?? What?
Are we now supposed to buy that Musa is being switched to 'support' because that's where her strengths lie and not in combat?? Are we supposed to believe that these girls know hand to hand combat?? When was this established? We see Terra wrapping some baby vines around a dude and I'm sorry is that the practical application of her power? Is this what the fairies are supposed to do once they graduate? Or is it just a switch in curriculum because of the threats outside the barrier?? This is never made clear.
Because if not then what's the point of this?? Why do they suddenly have endless classes together when the expectation was never set for the fairies to be like soldiers or out in the field fighting ?
Where exactly are they supposed to be what was the purpose of including Aster Dell and why is it a joy ride away from Alfea lmao?? Where Bloom is from and also not from?? Plot pls make it make sense
Why are fairies from another dimension vaping or smoking weed?? They are not human so why are they engaging in specifically human vices, yol couldn't come up with anything else to characterize 'delinquents'?? Very lazy very como se dices.. no effort. Nothing a little more spicy yol could invent, at least change the name and some properties holy shit did yol even try ??
So its fairies everywhere, having a lil party in the east wing of a phat castle.. and they are playing beer pong and dressed in t shirts and jeans..
Can you hear me screaming? Can you hear me vibrating with rage?
Not one floating decoration or magical anything in sight. Just purple lights and subpar vibes
Stella's costume design: tragic. I won't discuss further because we don't have the space or time but just know that it was absolutely atrocious and I hated it. Giving very debutante vibes
The entire budget going to that lame transformation sequence that was not a transformation sequence and those horrible, barely-there fire wings
Edgelord bloom and all her fucking leather jackets. Why do 30 yo, white cis men think girls exist in a binary? They could keep her earlier characterization and make her a hothead.. Bloom literally screamed herself into a couple power upgrades in the original come ooonnnn
Let girls be feminine without it being a character flaw what is wrong with yol its 2021. They could make her more mature, more angsty or whatever the hell else and not style her like that
The way Aisha's abilities flipflop between episodes and scenes. Very inconsistent. One minute she's struggling with a drop of water and the next she is moving an entire body of water for her bestie Bloom to fake transform because the plot demands it. Why even add in her struggles at all if you're just going to ignore it?
Why was Stella with them in that scene? She didn't do anything literally.. Aisha pulled the water and she did .. nothing.
Who the fuck is Rosalind? Why would they add her in,, to add nothing to story? The company of light was a thing, they could've plucked one of them hoes to be the antagonist. Why did the winx club need their own Delores Umbridge? Valtor was right there if you wanted an evil educator type character.
The camera work was so bland during the down beats, stagnant and fixed during a fairy party and erratic and ugly and disorienting during the fight scenes
I'm not getting over the fairy party because it was a good opportunity for the production and everyone else to show the differences between where Bloom was and where she is now but instead it just looks like a regular teen high school party?? This could have been set in Switzerland fr.
Everyone's just kind of standing?? You mean to tell me these people are from all different places in the magical dimension and their customs are all the same? They all throw parties like this ??
White and flavorless I am very bored
I guess the main question or takeaway I have is just.. who is this for? Because everyone, including the showrunners keep saying that it's for us, the fans of the original. But apart from the characters sharing some names, there are really no other similarities. So again, who was this supposed to appease or placate or satisfy? Because it sure as hell wasn't the winx club fans.
Overall, this feels very much like something I wrote and probably published on ff.net when I was 13 because I thought girls couldn't be taken seriously if they liked pink, and injected angst into everything that didn't need it and had no idea how to structure scenes or dialogue. It's just bad, objectively and N*tflix will keep making shit like this because apparently some people have bad taste??? Idk yol, be easy
#im never gonna stop i dont care i dont care#and i dont even usually make my own posts i just be reblogging and vibing#but im passionate abt this because he originak was the reason i wanted to learn how to draw#it was the reason i wanted to learn how to write and tell stories#it shaped a lot of shit for me because it was the very first one of its kind id ever seen#i ran home from school to watch it and argued with my friends about who got to be flora#i forced them to make cardboard wings with me and to perform the opening song during a school talent show#thank god we didnt get to perform otherwise we would all have died of embarrassment in hindsight#but ye i just hate to see things that obviously are very dear to a lot of people be treated with such casual indignity and its a disservice#a disservice to the fans and to the people who had probably want to create it as a passion project#to the people who spent hours and hours in rewrites and fanart amazing fanart and post series continuations#no one is saying the original is sacred and cannot be touch#this fandom actively calls out the bullshit rainbow has done and continues to do to the characters we love.. i havent spoken to one fan who#doesnt have an alter dedicated to their downfall. we found a piece of ourselves in these gorls and they were stripped and caricatured and#played for laughs so netfilx can make money and its just very upsetting to see.#so again fuck you brian young fuck you ignio and rainbow and fuck whoever the costume designer was#mine#text#fate winx club#fate: the winx saga#f:tws#winx club

che col tuo lume mi levasti easter eggs
Unlike the easter eggs in l’amor che move, I didn’t intend to drop easter eggs all over the fic. Still, they happened. Here you go!
Also, a lot of places that are relevant for the plot are chosen at random. I wrote that in the author’s notes already, but yeah if it isn’t mentioned here, it’s because I just put my cursor somewhere on Google Maps and hoped for the best.
Prologue: N/A
Chapter 1:
Yes, yes, Winx Club is a recurring thing in this installment, now that Simon has someone to geek with.
Chapter 2: N/A
Chapter 3: N/A
Chapter 4:
Yes, I had to add another Zelda reference in there. After all, 2021 is the year where I became Zelda trash.
Also, I’m gay, so Sky or Helia? Neither.
Chapter 5:
“[Simon] doesn’t talk much, but when he does, he’s unstoppable.” That’s me in a nutshell, lol.
Chapter 6: N/A
Chapter 7:
Okay, lmao, almost all of Lucy’s friends are named after relatives of mine.
I put the bigger vampire hub in Abruzzo because I like that area. I’ve been there a couple of times.
The story of Lucy insisting on calling Baz Basilton as an homage to Natasha is also based on a similar story. A friend of my mum couldn’t stand it when people called her son by an abridged version of his name
Chapter 8:
I feel comfortable with sharing this now, now that I’m an adult and these family vacations are behind me (which is why I chose Salò in the first place), but Camping Weekend is where we’d stay when we stayed in Salò. The Cottage Next XL Panorama Special were way out of our leagues, though!
Chapter 9: N/A
Chapter 10: N/A
Chapter 11: N/A
Chapter 12:
Driving past Bologna and Florence is hell, just saying.
Chapter 13: N/A
Chapter 14:
Yes, the damn RTL radio jingle will continue to haunt me for the rest of my life.
Lan Xu. I’m not going to explain this.
Okay, Bérgamo is actually a deliberate choice, but I honest to God cannot remember if I’ve ever been there. I just recognised the name.
Chapter 15:
The little nod to the Winx Club dolls is there for a reason. To me, the Italian toy stores were huge because of the many, many Winx Club dolls that were unavailable in my country. Oh, my childhood self is longing for these dolls again.
Okay, here’s a #failure moment on my part. One of the researchers on professor Bunce’s team says bienvenue, which is French, not Italian. I actually made this same mistake while talking to @martsonmars about Italian (‘is it "Bienvenue a" or "Bienvenue de" or something else?’ ‘bienvenue is french I guess??’ ‘OH NO. OH NO CAN WE FORGET THAT THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED’) (Well, I’m publicly shaming myself anyway.)
San Carlo classica crisps my beloved.
Chapter 16: N/A
Chapter 17:
I put the showdown with The Mage on September 23rd, my second birthday. Second? Yeah.
Chapter 18:
AQUA MELONE! AQUA MELONE! Yes, my sister attempted to say watermelon on Italian, which is anguria, but she said aqua melone. We still call it aqua melone to this day.
Chapter 19:
Okay, okay, the whole Bimby thing does nothing for the plot, but it’s purely exposition. Every time my family thinks about Italy, the Thermonix is a thing that comes to mind. I had to include it. I tried including it in l’amor che move, but never found the space to do so. Luckily, I created this useful running gag of Daphne giving random gifts. It’s helped with some plot holes before.
Chapter 20: N/A
Chapter 21:
Aaand Vassali is back!
Chapter 22:
Simon wants to see Trieste. I also want to see Trieste. I was planning on going there while I was living in Slovenia for my semester abroad but guess what happened? Covid. So understandably all the borders were closed.
I have actually been to Trento twice and I think I got some bad tea at Cafe 34? It was at the Piazza Duomo at least. It wasn’t the cafe’s fault. I ordered a flavour I didn’t like.
Oh yeah, Trento is where I got to know Grom ice cream.
Chapter 23:
I’ve been to the The Forsterbräu Trento twice and really, Google it, the interior is gorgeous. Or see it here.
Chapter 24: N/A
Epilogue: N/A

God, I've seen people recommending a person who wants to start watching Winx Club the dubbing of 4kids, with the excuse that it is more fun 😭
I've had a friend who got recommended an ABRIDGED, NON CANON, FANMADE dub of her favourite anime over the original, claiming it is better written.
Insane people. The disrespect and arrogance they have

For Winx Alt Con, are you planning to do season 4? If so, how will you handle the "magic returns to Earth" plot point?
I actually have notes up to season six for the Alt Con, getting them down in a coherent order is the problem ^.^
(I also have a few pages of hand written note for an alternative Alt Con which includes WOW in the timeline... kudos to the folks who picked up on the not at all subtle WOW reference already in the Alt Con)
How will I handle the Magic returns to Earth Plot Point?
Massive spoilers for season 3, 4, 5 and 6
Because at the rate I'm going, spoilers are kinder than making you all wait (also: this may no be any kind of coherent, because I am very tired and my coherency checker is still upset that I got her to watch one of my new hyper-focus Chinese Dramas. sorry about that.)
So the backstory goes that Morgana put Earth under quarantine before setting off a targeted Time Dilation field which shunted most magicals all fairies and the Black Circle out of sync with the rest of the Earth and left the planet in a perpetual state of magic drain that no one from off-world could explain.
It's not just the magic of the planet that gets drained though, the magical cores of every new magical on the planet also gets siphoned off leaving only children (whose cores haven't stabilised enough to be siphoned) and low level psychics (whose powers register as just-different-enough from magic to not be affected).(Also fairies who can shield themselves from siphoning, either by personal will and control, or by creating a shielded area in a weak spot in the siphoning spell. (yeah, I mean Eldora.))
This drain happens because the magic is powering the time dilation spell, which is why it was so important that Earth be put under quarantine.
Before the spell went of, Earth's Sea Gate (the magical doorway guarded by Selkies) was forced closed and effectively locked to stop any fluctuations that couldn't be accounted for by the absent fairies. It can only be opened 2 ways, one of those ways is if Morgana unlocks it, the second is if the lock is over written by a higher authority in the Sea Gate's 'system'.
Season 5 was... well it was season 5, I've stripped the majority of it out and used it to pad season 3, timeline now goes season 1, season 2, season 3&5, season 4, season 6. (the existence of season 7 & 8 in the Alt Con are still under consideration.)
Tritannus will be an add-on to Valtor's party, his mutation coming not from pollution, but the Mark of Valtor.
Tritannus is going to be trying to convince the Trix he can get them more power by taking the Throne (the one he was after in season 5) and he'll go off to do that. In his attempt to control its power he'll end up forcing all the Sea Gates open, causing magical disturbances throughout the Magical Dimension.
The Throne is the 'higher authority in the Sea Gate system' and the forced opening includes Earth's gate, and even once the forced open is terminated, the Earth gate will no longer be locked. The Selkies who guard it and would have taken care of the issue were caught up in the Time Dilation field, which means no one is there to realise the gate is effectively still leaking excess traces of magic into Earth's system, slowly (over the course of a few months) over loading the balance of the planet wide spell and causing it to fail section by section. (which is why different fairies are released at different times (possibly alongside other lost magical societies on Earth...))
Once the spell hits 'terminal failure' it just gives up entirely and stops trying to draw magic which means people whose cores had been drained their entire life, have suddenly got their stores of magical energy filling back up.
Now, the Sea Gate of Earth happens to be just off shore of Gardenia, which is why it feels the effects first, and why Bloom is able to feel the magic is very different there when she returns home for summer break.
Once magic is no longer being siphoned off, a lot of people are going to start realising they have magic, (Including one teenage girls who will go from 'intuitive and somewhat empathic' to 'oh shit I'm hearing the voice of a demon sealed in a book in an strange old lady's library and you know what? He seems trust worthy.') which means the fairies and magicals in charge of the various sects and societies that went under the time dilation spell have a few options:
go to war with the current ruling bodies and let hundreds, possibly thousands or millions of innocents die to take back their territories
or
start a bunch of blogs and youtube channels that show off their lives, (presented as a bunch of dedicated LARPers or something) and get people used to the idea of magic being a real thing slowly, while also giving people who are experiencing sudden magical abilities a way to recognise what's going on and an idea of who they should be looking for to help them. (slowly taking over the planet in a peaceful way by causing low key cultural change after low key cultural change until 'oh yeah, I can't believe there was a time when we forgot magic was real.')
TLDR:
Highly abridged cause and effect timeline of the Alt Con:Season 1: the Trix shunt Stella to Earth while she's teleporting so they can steal her stuff and get away with it, but fate introduces Bloom at just the right time, whose dormant Dragon Fire reacts to the presence of magic and activates in the place of Bloom's siphoned fairy magic. Bloom and Stella go to Magix where Bloom meets the Winx and becomes a fairy. The Trix steal the Dragon Flame and summon an Evil army which has a side effect of breaking the last remaining strands of a centuries old seal. Bloom awakens her fairy magic thanks to Daphne and saves the day.Season 2: The ancient seal destroyed by the Trix (by accident) releases Darkar who goes back to his attempt to gain the MacGuffin, through teamwork and grit, the day is saved and Darkar is as defeated as he gets. The Trix are sent to be imprisoned on Omega, an ice world at the edge of the Magical Dimension.Season 3/5: Icy breaks free of the ice coffin she's in before she loses too much strength and frees her sisters, while looking for a way off the planet, she discovers Valtor who was imprisoned on Omega before the Fall of Domino and should have been dead. While seriously weakened, he lives and manages to use the (why do they even have that? Oh right, it's a standard that came with the planet when it was created) sea gate to hack the sea gate system and open a portal to Andros. The Winx split the party and do various stuff, and try to combat Daphne's stalker evil wizard Valtor. When things look to be going the Winx's way, turn coat Tritannus approaches the Trix and offers to get them the power of the Infinite Ocean. While the Winx are defeating Valtor, Tritannus opens all the sea gates (including the locked Earth gate) and the Winx have to rush to stop him, which they do.Diaspro is banished from Eraklyon.Season *: The Winx enjoy normal school life at Alfea for the rest of the year, doing normal teen fairy things, Diaspro goes on a journey in the outer reaches of the Magical Dimension, magic slowly leaks into Earth through the no longer locked sea gate and breaks the archaic spell holding the fairies of Earth and the Wizards of the Black Circle out of time.Season 4: (Alfea summer break/end of year 1) the spell has broken, magic is returning to Earth, Bloom notices something amiss when she goes home for summer break and calls in back up. The group discover magic is returning and set up a shop called 'The Winx Club' to reintroduce the idea of real magic in a non-jarring way to Earth's population, using social media and material objects. Amidst the excitement of magic returning, and new fairies like local girl Roxy, the Winx hear about attacks straight out of their magical history books: fairy hunters. Doing what they can, the Winx try to find and stop the hunters, but run across various returning magical societies during their investigation and diplomacy with them. Earth's mightiest magicals team up and kick the Wizards of the Black Circle's asses. The slow reintegration of magical and non-magical Earth begins.Season 6: (Year 2 of Alfea) Former bestie of Bloom, Selena, has been hearing a voice from a book calling out to her for help, after another fight with Bloom and her 'new friends' Selena agrees to go along with her 'new friend' and attempts to free Acheron from the Legendarium

Self Insert Positivity Day
inch row
What got you into self inserting? Was it something you’ve always done, or something you were inspired to do?
self inserting...i’ve done since i was around 10.  i started with Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh because i’m just a massive fucking weeb.  my first F/O who i could actually consider a “romantic F/O” and not just some elementary school equivalent was Sveta Volecheck from Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, which i think established a “type” for me.  my first actual endeavors in self-inserting were with a PowerPuff Girls Z roleplay (other fandoms, such as MLP, Sgt. Frog Abridged, and Winx Club got involved later, but the primary focus was on PPGZ) i did with some friends on Google+ back in 2013-2014.  i, uh...i miss that.  i soon gained other F/Os like some kind of romantic katamari, including Nepeta Leijon, Princess Unikitty, Miyako Gotokuji, Gell (former), and others.  the fanfiction didn’t start until i saw that one tumblr post encouraging it, and so i started writing to pass the time near the end of 10th grade.  my first one (i think) was for Equestria Girls, starting between Rainbow Rocks and the Holiday Special, and it focused on my relationship with Diamond Tiara and friendship with Silver Spoon.  all this i kept to myself, until, by pure chance, i stumbled upon a post by @neko-shinigxmi in the Flipnote tag, and then i started to get involved with the community.
For some of us, aesthetic is key. Do you have a theme or an aesthetic for your self insert content (Please do not include ships/FOs!)?
not sure if this counts, but i typically focus on regular, mundane, day-to-day life.  sure, there are a few exceptions (such as the aforementioned Equestria Girls fic), but i mostly stay within the confines of slice-of-life.  as cool as a big adventure with my romantic and platonic F/Os would be, i’d prefer to be on the sidelines.
What’s your favourite way of self inserting? Do you like to write, or draw, or make content via other means? (They’re all valid, even if you don’t make content and keep it to yourself!)
fanfic!!!!!!!!!!!!  i am Bad At Art, and my roleplaying days are far behind me, so i don’t really have much of a choice.  of course, i spend more time thinking about writing than actually writing, but...
