As Bucky’s office doors opened he remained at his desk, turned towards the window. He’d been expecting Steve’s return from making collections.

The booming music from his club took over the room, not that you’d know it from looking at Bucky—known to most as The Winter Soldier, a notorious Russian sniper turned Mafia Kingpin—who didn’t so much as blink an eye.

He did, however, continue twirling his trusted knife in one hand. The other, holding a glass of whiskey.

When the doors closed Bucky finally spoke. “I expect all your collections were made.”

The last thing Bucky remembers is the lounge, that mouthwatering scent, and then everything going straight to shit with no pit stops. He rolls over, coming face to face with a bunch of blankets. They aren’t soft anymore. They aren’t clean. And they sure as hell don’t smell like anything close to heaven now. They reek of sweat, filth, and something vaguely burnt—the fuck? Must’ve been his self-respect torching itself and going up in flames. His head is pounding, his heart is pounding, his den’s a war zone, the bed broken. His goddamn mattress looks molested. Jesus. What the fuck was that?

In Bucky’s defense, the compound’s a revolving door, and he barely recognizes half the faces most of the time, let alone pays attention to memos that pop up on his phone. Rating: Explicit Chapter: 1/?

In which Peter loves Bucky, even if he is wanted in 22 states and just committed arson. It makes him extra hot, okay? i basically wanted to indulge myself with some winterspider fluff

Peter made a content noise as he snuggled closer to Bucky, making the older man snort. His eyes were half-shut, nearly asleep already even though it was only ten in the night, but Peter always fell asleep earlier than Bucky. 

Bucky was fine with that, though. It just meant he had more time to admire the other boy longer. 

“Warm,” Peter mumbled, wrapping his legs around Bucky’s waist.

Bucky looked down at him teasingly and chuckled. “Were we not cuddling close enough before, doll?”

Peter peeked an eye open to look at him. “No.” He shut it and went back to falling asleep. 

Bucky laughed. “God, you’re so cute.” He fondly ran a thumb across Peter’s bottom lip, enraptured when Peter parted his lips to take it into his mouth and suck lightly—not even in a sexual way, just for both of their comfort. “How did I get so lucky with you, huh?”

Peter paused, then pushed Bucky’s thumb out of his mouth with his tongue before scoffing. “You’re calling me cute?” He blindly jabbed at Bucky’s ribs, making him yelp. “You’re literally the cutest thing I’ve seen in my entire life. Can you stop being so adorable?”

Bucky stared, dumbfounded. “...I’m wanted in 22 states and just committed arson.”

Peter grinned. “Yeah, but the way you do it is cute. Besides, the guy was an asshole. Wasn’t like he was going to last anyways; you just helped him along his way.”

“You’re ridiculous.” Bucky rolled his eyes. “Go to sleep.”

“Mm. You too.” Peter promptly fell asleep right after that, because of course he did. 

Bucky grinned, letting his fingers gently brush against the younger boy’s cheek, and murmured, “Soon, darling. After I’m done looking at you for two hours.”

And he did exactly that.

Bucky knows what people see when they look at him: the metal arm, the distant stare, the scars both visible and hidden. Damaged and, obviously, stupid for letting the government stomp all over him, stupid for signing up to get broken in the first place. It has to be that, right? Stupid. That's the only reason why this kid, who picked out a restaurant too fancy for Bucky’s comfort, would sit here and lie his ass off by saying, "I have a stalker," and think he is getting away with it.

Since it's now in their mutual interest to not sabotage and/or try to kill each other, they have to figure out a way to regulate the pent up agression.

Turns out fucking is a pretty good way to blow off some of that steam.
