Reasons and fun facts about their designs:

Clay - Semi-based off of Ankole-Wastusi. Loves to cook and I frente goes to the Mud Kingdom to get ingredients.

Tsunami - Based off of Tiger sharks. Her scars will heal but very slowly because Seawing scales are very special compared to other tribes and thus take longer to grow back.

Glory - Loosely based off of Emerald Boas. Her scales were much more darker and dull in the caves so this is when she made it back to the Rain Kingdom

Starflight - Based off of Black Myotis Bats and needs glasses to help his farsightedness.

Sunny - Based on Leopard Geckos and Desert Long-Eared Bats. Seems more Sandwing because of her mom being a Sandwing.

The youngest of the dragonets of destiny and the wings of sand, Sunny!

In this au all of the dragonets are hatched under the three moons during the brightest night, granting Sunny and Starflight mind reading and seer powers stronger then the average nightwing. Her and Starflight are close, but it’s more of a twin sibling relationship. If the dragonets of destiny were a dnd party, Sunny would be the bard for sure. She’s more outspoken and is taken more seriously by the other dragonets from the start.

Hopefully she turned out good, I struggled so much with the color palette at the start

Beloved precious Sunny and Clay :] I decided to be silly and go wild over Sunny's and Clay's design for fun hehe I hc Sunny got her name because of her frills <333 And!! Clay, of course, based on the cow cuz why not lol

Sunny sketch! I’ll be drawing the DoD in order from youngest to oldest. So it will be: Sunny->Starflight->Finch (Skywing DoD)->Glory->Cryo (Icewing DoD)->Tsunami->Clay. These will be less a basic ref and more of a chance for me to practice dynamic poses and show some character and personality in each of them.

Today's dragons!! Peril and Sunny's scenes in book 5 really impressed me. I adore how Peril is saying the exact same things Sunny's been thinking in that moment~
