This is a summary for the recent Winx club Sona AU I made. If you want to check it out: here's the link to the post:

So to summarize and some things to explain:

There are four dragons, each having his/her own element. All of them combined their magic to create light magic, and cus the ancestral witches were born, followed by light being it's opposite, dark magic was created as well.

By having base/main elements (fire, water earth sky, light and dark), wizards, witches and fairies draw their magic from a different source.

That means Flora draws her magic from the Earth drake, Aisha from the water leviathan, witches from the ancestral witches, Musa and Tecna from the Sky wyvern.

Of course 'regular' people that can wield magic have no connection to the main sources (of course there are exceptions like Bloom, the Trix, Valtor, etc)

And before you ask me "Why Musa and Tecna from sky magic? That makes no sense!".

It actually does:

What happens if you walk through the forest when it's windy? The leaves rustle and make noise. What do you need to use a flute for example? Your breath. Air and wind can make noise as well, creating a melody or their own sound.

And techno magic is TECNA-cally (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) a form of Electro magic. So there ya go.

Light and dark magic is a little different tho. Since it's basically a 'mix' from all the dragons powers, and dark magic is the same, just corrupted. Light/dark magic isn't present in everyone, but everyone that can use magic can learn it, that's why fairies can become dark fairies or witches become light witches.

And about dark magic: just cus it's originally created from the Ancestral witches, it doesn't automatically mean it has to be evil. Telepathy or telekinesis is a form of Psychic magic aka dark magic. Everyone uses it, and it's not evil. The Winx used dark magic in season 2, they are still fine. And Mirta uses dark magic as well, she's not evil.

In some cases, the concentration of dark or light magic is more present in others. Faragonda, Avalon, Darcy and Acheron are good examples. (Icy, Stormy and Valtor aren't on it cus they have elemental power and learned about dark magic. This doesn't mean that they are weaker or stronger, they still have dark magic, but it's just not as present as Darcy who can't use any elements. I also didn't list the Wizards of the black circle since I'm planning to change their powers)

Each dragon also has a 'sub' element, like secondary powers:

Fire has the power of healing and destruction

Sky has spiritual and cosmic powers

Earth has the power of Life and death

Water can control blood and Chi (not in a spiritual meaning, but to become one with your own body since we are made out of 80% water, hope that kinda makes sense)

When it comes to natural opposites

Sky and earth

Fire and water

Light and Darkness

The ancestral witches:

Are the origin of all Darkness (yes ik some say it's Darkar but he's weak af)

So the witches and the Sky wyvern created Darkar from a piece of the dragon flame that they stole

This makes Darkar the fire dragons second natural opposite along with the waterstars

Not only that: when the witches and the wyvern took a part of the flame, a small piece fell into darkness. As the witches fled from the dragons, they found that piece, creating Valtor.

Just like the light fairy, they looked out for others that can harness magic and reached them the ways of dark magic

I would also like to mention that the legend of the four dragons has been forgotten over time. Most people only think that the Great dragon is the only one that existed, and the ones that do know the legend think it's just a myth.

Hiking day.

Trail: Östgötaleden

Section: Valdemarsvik - Rånen Runt.

Time Thursday may 20th late afternoon-hopefully before the last bus home on Friday may 21st

Temperature - +15°C day, 6°C night, windy, about 8° in the water.

Starting from beautiful Valdemarsvik (an unusual amount of houses have towers!) the trail goes a lot on road, but also through many iron age fortification ruins, and some forest land. Passing the shire line into Småland, I reached Lake Rånen after three hours and spent the rest of the night in front of a cozy fire to keep the windchill at bay (lit with like 10 matches because it was windy af😂).

Heading out to the sea before returning to Valdemarsvik, hopefully today, as I have a single just-in - case wasa sandwich for breakfast if I don't make it there before the last bus heads home.

Getting to know you meme!

Favourite time of the year: Spring-Summer, which is Brasil is essentially the same thing except spring is windy af. I like rainy days as much as the next person, but nothing beats a sunny, windy day!

Comfort foods: Pastel, which is a kind of deep fried pastry with different fillings (my fav is chicken and cheddar!) and Panettone, cause I’m a Christmas baby!

Do you collect anything: I don’t think I do. Maybe different pens? It’s not deliberate tho.

Favourite drinks: Orange juice, sprite and a good old caipirinha, which is a Brazilian cocktail featuring lime (usually, cause lemon is expensive here), sugar and cachaça(tm).

Favorite music artists: I shift a lot between artists, especially when they release new music, changing the vibes I met them by, but I currently really enjoy Jonathan Bree, Tom Rosenthal and CMAT. They’re very unique to their styles and I enjoy their music very much. I also really enjoy peremotka (hopefully that’s how it’s written in roman alphabet!) Their post punk vibes are smashing!

Current favourite songs: No Face by Haley Heynderickx, I Like it When You’re Gone by Tom Rosenthal, Valentine by Jonathan Bree, Peter Bogdanovich by CMAT

Favourite fics: I haven’t been reading a lot of fics recently, but I have some all time favorites to recommed!

Safe as Houses (Vera Claythorne/Philip Lombard): very good, very smutty, very sad;

Bird of Passage: The Book of Dust centric, this follows spy business from Oakley Street during TSC. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you want more to dive into Lyra’s world!

Lyra’s Uncle: some good old AU, giving Asriel a little brother and making it all very sad. Sami writes a lot of good stuff, but this is my favorite piece of hers.

Applied Heresy (Marisa/Asriel): Honestly, I love this fic to bits, I have it downloaded on my kindle and phone. It is the best Masriel experience pre-show you’ll get. The writer also delves deep into Lyra’s world pre-TBOD, but she makes it seems so believable and it’s good old worldbuilding! If you haven’t read this yet and you’re in the HDM fandom, what are you doing????

Favourite video games: I’m a massive Bioware fan, so my favorite games feature nearly everything they’ve ever done. I lovethe Mass Effect trilogy (especially the 3rd one, sorry lol) and I love Dragon Age and I have a devotion to Star Wars: The Old Republic! Been playing it strong for 8 years and I love it pieces. That is excellent Star Wars, Disney don’t interact please lol

Fullmoon-night Feb. 17th

Good night my dear wolf friends, I just experienced the most beautiful and magical Fullmoon night ever and I hope so did you <3 It's currently 3:30am here and I probably stood for more than 1½h in the park, just hypnotized by the view. I went outside, because it started to become more and more windy and I really didn't want to miss that (even tho I was already tired af) but from second to second that I stood there, it just became better and better. Not only the wind became stronger and the rain stopped completely, the way how momma Moon lid up the night, was just so perfect... You could see the mountains with snow in the background, see the trees bend in the wind and the clouds rush by. And then it just got even better as the Moon got a halo around it... a ring of clouds... I was literally just standing there, like I was in trance, almost couldn't stop myself from looking. I also thought about my new pack and when I would howl, as loud as I could, how far would the wind carry mt call...

On the way back home, all the crows that are usually on the hill, sat in the trees in front of the park, cuz up the hill, it was way too windy for them... When I walked underneath them, they all flew around... It reminded me of the night where my friends and I hiked through the forest on that hill and played together (were-/wolf/fox/tiger)...

This fullmoon night today was so special, I'm sure I won't forget it that fast <3

at what point in your retail job where you say i have had enough and it is ok to quit? when its effecting your mental health?

cuz im really on the fence about this. my current job(fuck you lowes) had me stress crying today while at the register(just one of those days where its one thing after another) bc my managers just really dont fucking care about us cashiers suffering being cold. idk if you know about lowes but we have whats called the lumber area where we sell wood and shit and we have these big bay doors so people can carry out large pieces of wood and shit. anyways ofc it being missouri it was really cold and windy. even worse with the bay door open bc it creates a wind tunnel effect. anyways lowes cooperate was visiting today and no matter what my managers wanted that door open bc it will make the store look bad??? idk. anyways i was freezing my ass off at the register despite my layers and scarf. i even tried to wear my hood to keep my ears warm but i was scolded twice by management to not have my hood up at the register. i was like ok fine i just wont feel my ears then. so i move on. as the day goes its still windy and cold af and i shit you not just about every customer i had commented about the cold wind saying i should have the door closed. i told them id like that too but management wants it open. after about over a dozen customers or so complaining about that i finally said fuck it and closed the door. it felt so much better i was no longer freezing my ass off. but ofc not ten minutes later here comes corprate leaving for the day and once they were gone my manager scolded me for closing the door and even tho i told him about freezing and customers complaining he still wanted it open. like....i jist dont get why they are like this???? i am fed up with our companh preaching sbout lowes safe when they dont even care about we cashiers freezing? and then finally another coworker relieves me from the register and i thought ok sweet its lunch time so i clock out for my hour break. about 15 mins later one of our head cashiers have the nerve to come into the break room and fucking chew me out for taking my lunch. note they never told me what to do i assumed it was lunch tome since it was four hours after i clocked in which is when youre due for lunch. my head cashier was being a total bitch. and note that she was already like this earlier today on the phone when i called a second time to ask them to bring me more money for my drawer. im generally a nice person but after what happened that day i about went off on her. but later that day after miss bitchy leaves i explained to the other hc who i like a lot better what happened telling her abt how i didnt appreciate miss bitchy chewing me out in front of everyone in the break room. and she even agreed that yes miss bitchy was out of line. my friends agreed too who were in the break room and saw her chew my out. i was just fucking done. like thats not professional at all.

so im like do i just quit? note that its been over 2 yrs here now for me with not much change since i started and i see no future here for me. i just dont really know where else to apply for? just uugghhhhhhh.
