MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE eliza & william + height difference

Yall, I’m so disappointed. It took 4 seasons to him to confess, he dipped the very next minute, and now they’ll probably write him off as having died in New York.

Aside from the obvious, that they dragged the hell out of the “will they, won’t they” aspect of their relationship, William’s character suffered a lot too. His character kept getting screwed over (missed promotions..etc..) and was increasingly becoming secondary to Eliza, despite the title being “Miss Scarlet and the Duke” and in all honesty, I didn’t see his character going anywhere for the past 2 seasons.

I feel like we got that throwback episode to the kiss™️ way too late, it should have happened at the latest, season 3. I mean sitting home with Eliza was what finally got him to confess. I didn’t mind that he had to leave, it gave time Eliza to see how their relationship would work. And season 4 could have been her working with Nash and figuring out how she could be with William and at the same time, we could have seen William doing his thing in a new place. Then we would be seeing, Miss Scarlet and the Duke!

Anyway, so while yes, majorly disappointed that Stuart won’t be coming back, at least he’s going off to do, hopefully, better things.

So. I finished all three seasons of Miss Scarlet and the Duke. I'm SO GLAD there's going to be a fourth season.

BUT WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT?!?!

I need William and Eliza to get together. I need it.

I also need more of Moses being a badass with a soft heart, Fitzroy being an adorable puppy, and Patrick Nash being charming and... almost trustworthy.

I need more of the delicious tension between Eliza and William. More of their playful banter. And most of all, I need them to JUST KISS ALREADY!!!

(I also wouldn't say no to a return of Rupert Parker. He's adorable and I miss him. I could do without his mother though.)

In short, I NEED MORE.

Eliza Scarlet and William Wellington - Miss Scarlet and The Duke

Miss Scarlet and The Duke Season 3 is, unfortunately, the show’s weakest season, but despite the hiccups, it features some of the most crucial moments necessary to develop our main characters. It’s about William and Eliza and a fake proposal with very real feelings at the helm. This is the season where we finally get to learn that Moses’ last name is Valentine, and even though William doesn’t admit it aloud to Eliza, being called out on loving her by his girlfriend, Arabella, is enough to hold us over until Season 4.

Still, though we don’t get much development between the crime-solving partners in crime, Miss Scarlet and The Duke Season 3, Episode 6, “The Jewel of the North,” gives viewers an unforgettable scene between William and Eliza that we’ll be replaying over and over. While the two are posing as a couple looking for a ring, William takes the attempt to sell the story of how he proposed up a couple of hundred notches. It’s not about how he did it, but it’s what he says that shows a clueless Eliza, himself, and the audience just how in love he is.

In the blink of an eye, Miss Scarlet and The Duke’s Season 3 finale is here! Rachael New and Co. waste not one second as “The Jewel of the North” dives almost immediately into a bomb scare. With a dream team-up and a pompous former acquaintance in the way, sprinkled with some heartbreak and possible career developments, there’s much to explore in this final episode.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke 3×06, “The Jewel of the North,” opens with Eliza, Patrick Nash, Moses, and William all receiving packages containing a bomb. Curiously, none of the bombs go off because the timer isn’t linked to the detonator. William believes he’s the primary intended target as his package contains a note in Irish Gaelic, which translates to “We’re watching you.” Consequently, he contacts the Special Irish Branch, led by the insufferable Arthur St. John Hudson (Sam Hoare). Hudson deems William’s involvement as a conflict of interest, and William is ultimately forced to take a leave of absence. Meanwhile, the rest of the group (Eliza, Nash, and Moses) are interrogated with questions, with a special emphasis on Nash due to his Irish heritage. During these interviews, Hudson’s incompetence is on display. They argue Hudson is wasting his time and should focus on other questions — as Eliza points out, he should focus on why the bombs weren’t set to explode, but he dismisses her and suspends both Eliza’s and Nash’s licenses. And to add insult to injury, both Nash and Eliza have had their offices stripped and searched for the “investigation.”
