Wholesale television deals: Elevating your retail business
Wholesale television deals allow businesses and retailers to source televisions at bulk rates, allowing them to meet customer demand while maximizing profits. Here's an overview to help you understand how wholesale television deals work and you should trust DG Business.
Benefits of wholesale television deals
Wholesale deals offer several advantages, such as cost savings due to reduced unit prices, access to a wide range of TV models, and the potential for better profit margins. Retailers can also tap into the expertise of wholesalers who have insights into market trends and can provide guidance on product selection.
Finding reliable wholesale suppliers
Research is crucial when identifying reputable wholesale suppliers. Look for established suppliers with positive reviews and a track record of delivering quality products on time. Trade shows, industry events, online marketplaces, and referrals from other retailers can help you connect with reliable suppliers.
Product quality and authenticity
Ensure that your wholesale televisions are genuine, high-quality products from reputable brands. Counterfeit or subpar products can damage your reputation and customer trust.
Minimum order quantities and pricing
Many wholesale suppliers have minimum order quantities (MOQs) to qualify for wholesale pricing. Negotiate MOQs that align with your business size and budget. Additionally, discuss pricing tiers based on order volume, as larger orders often result in lower unit costs.
Warranty and returns
Understand the warranty terms and return policies associated with wholesale television deals. Clear warranty coverage and return process guidelines are essential to address potential product issues.
Shipping and logistics
Shipping costs, delivery times, and shipping methods are critical considerations. Choose suppliers with reliable shipping practices to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time.
Payment terms
Clarify payment terms, including whether upfront payment or credit terms are available. Negotiate favorable terms that align with your cash flow and business model.
Building long-term relationships
Building strong relationships with wholesale suppliers can lead to better deals, preferential treatment, and a more collaborative partnership. Communication and trust are vital to cultivating lasting relationships.
Market trends and consumer preferences
Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions. Flexibility in adapting to changing trends will position your business for success.

Some Stray Worldbuilding Elements
Someone pointed out to me recently that a lot of movie fights are constrained by what will fit in a camera frame. This leads to, among other things, often misleading or minimal visual examples of the proper use of long-distance weapons. So if you plan to have proper use of arrow volleys or tank battles, make sure you read up on their historical use in warfare. The wonderful thing about a book is we can make the view as wide as we like. Take advantage of it!
If you want a good visual of a pretty realistic, desperate life-or-death struggle between two characters at melee range, though, you might be interested in checking this movie out.
Sabu and Ichi's Detective Stories: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojrHZqBFX1E
In Edo, a group of masked samurai storms a seafood wholesaler and commits murder, but the deaths have only begun....
Information I’ve found says was broadcast in 1981, as part of Fuji Television’s “Jidai Geki Special”. The plot was based on Shotaro Ishimori’s popular comic, specifically the story “One Leg of Darkness”.
It’s the last about 15 minutes that have the showdown between Sabu as an okappiki and a mad samurai. It’s long; I’m told it’s brutal. I personally didn’t have that reaction, when you’re fighting for your life you do what you have to and there was relatively little blood or injury compared to a lot of modern movies. But it does show someone having to take minutes to wear an opponent down long enough that the enemy finally collapses. Writers, take note!
Another few bits of interest. Want to see an example of a smart monster luring prey?
youtube
A green heron who figured out how to use bait to lure a fish!
Or real examples of what cavalry horses can do, and would know how to deal with?
youtube
Cossack trick riding. I was particularly impressed that they could get horses to jump the fluttering banners. And slashing bottles at head height, spraying water on horse and rider? Yes, a cavalry horse would need to be used to that, think about it....

I am not sure if this benefits my farm.
In 2018/19 many (mainly smaller) dairy farms jumped at an offer from a well known dairy wholesaler which supplies milk to coffee bars, cafes and restaurants. The wholesaler was offering up to 5 pence a litre more than the farmgate price at the time. But there was no guarantee, and the price could change with little, or no notice.
In 2020 covid arrived. Coffee shops, and other hospitality venues were forced to close. As a result. this buyer's offer price dropped to well below the market rate... some farmer's were shown on television news tipping milk down the drain!
My farm did not fall into that trap. We were able to negotiate a contract with another wholesaler who supplies several supermarkets. There have been price drops, and rises... but, they have been limited.
We shall see!

BALL & THE BUTCHERS!
The Butchers & Meat Markets of the Lucyverse
Before supermarkets and online ordering, consumers visited local buthers and meat markets to shop. Here’s a look at the butchers of the Lucyverse!
Lucille Ball had a huge imagination when she was a child in Jamestown NY. In order to attempt to control her daughter, her mother made a deal with the local butcher for Lucy to run up and down the street between his shop and their home. It was in his butcher shop that Lucille first made her entertainment debut. In her autobiography, Ball shares details of her first performance on the butcher's counter. Lucy loved to dance and twirl for them, as well as giving her rendition of a jumping frog. She would stick her tongue out and croak. Customers would give her some pennies or a sweet treat to show their appreciation.
In 1942 Lucille Ball was the subject of a newspaper article titled “Conversation in the Kitchen” by Susan Thrift. The article details how the wartime homemaker can save money and conserve resources.
“If you have a freezing unit in your refrigerator, you can buy meat for the week. You’ve probably learned that you can depend much on a reliable butcher and standard brands. For the rest, remember what your mother taught you about the purchase of meat:”
“Valentine’s Day” (1949)
Katie the Maid (Ruth Perrot), is sweet on Mr. Dabney the butcher (Hans Conried), and Liz (Lucille Ball) offers to help. But when Liz's Valentine to her favorite husband gets switched with her check to pay the butcher's bill, Mr. Dabney gets the wrong idea.
Katie says she has a written a Valentine poem for Mr. Dabney the butcher. Liz calls him “old heavy thumbs”.
KATIE: “Some people may have better beef, but his liver’s good. And no one has oxtails and pig’s feet like him!”
Mr. Dabney reads the Valentine aloud:
“If you’ll be mine, then I’ll be thyne. You set my heart a-quiver. Say you’ll be my Valentine, And send two pounds of liver.”
Hans Conreid also played Mr. Dabney the butcher in “Overweight” (1949) where a dieting weigh-in is held at his butcher shop.
Mr. Dabney returns in “Reminiscing” (1949), a re-dramatization of “Valentine’s Day” as part of a “My Favorite Husband” retrospective episode.
When the "Valentine’s Day” script was made for television in 1952 in “Lucy Plays Cupid”, Mr. Dabney the butcher, played by Hans Conried, became Mr. Ritter, a grocer, played by Edward Everett Horton.
“The Freezer” (1952)
Hoping to save money, Lucy and Ethel purchases a walk-in freezer from Ethel’s Uncle Oscar, a butcher. When Lucy hears Ethel say that he has a “big cold chest,” Lucy drily replies, “Why don’t you knit him a sweater?”
After buying the freezer, they buy the meat to fill it at 69 cents a pound. Lucy over-orders two sides of beef from Johnson’s Meat Packing, a wholesale butcher. Lucy tells Ricky that bacon costs 75 cents a pound. The girls end up ordering 700 pounds of meat for a total of $483! Lucy immediately demands they take it back.
DELIVERY MAN: “Look, ladies, even if you defrosted it, pasted it back together and taught it to walk, I couldn’t take it back!”
To shift some of the meat, Lucy and other stake out the local butcher shop, stashing the meat in a baby stroller.
LUCY (to a customer): “Are you interested in some high-class beef? Are you tired of paying high prices? Do you want a bargain? Tell you what I'm gonna do. I got sirloin, tenderloin T-bone, rump, pot roast, chuck roast, oxtail stump.”
Fred Aldrich plays the butcher who is none too happy about Lucy and Ethel poaching his customers.
A December 1952 Philip Morris cartoon ad starts with the butcher delivering a side of beef to Lucy and Ethel, inspired by “The Freezer”.
“Together for Christmas” (1962)
The holiday episode opens with Lucy and Viv at the butcher shop, where Ernie the butcher (Joe Mell) is wrapping up Lucy’s Christmas turkey, even though Viv's family traditionally has a goose.
Ernie the butcher jokingly suggests stuffing the turkey with a goose!
“Lucy and the Plumber” (1964)
Lucy’s first talent discovery was made in Mr. Krause’s butcher shop when she saw his German Shepard Beauty “howl like the Beatles” when Mr. Krause (Tom G. Linder) played the harmonica.
”Lucy and the Great Bank Robbery” (1964)
Reading The Danfield Tribune, Viv notes that Oscar the butcher has a special on rump roast. This may be a throwback to Ethel Mertz’s Uncle Oscar the butcher.
“Lucy Gets Her Maid” (1965)
When Lucy and Viv take jobs as maids for a wealthy philanthopist, they realize that they not only have to prepare and serve the meals, but they have to act as their own butcher, too!
“Lucy and the Old Mansion” (1965)
A wrong number on the telephone keeps trying to reach Irving's Meat Market.
“Lucy Meets Mickey Rooney” (1966)
The backdrop for the Charlie Chaplin sketch features a sign for a market that has “Low Prices on Meat’s”. The grammatically incorrect possessive apostrophe is particularly odd. By that logic, the episode should be titled “Lucy Meet’s Mickey Rooney”!
“Someone’s on the Ski Lift with Dinah” (1971)
Harry feels entitled to approach Dinah Shore because his butcher’s cousin’s son’s best friend is engaged to her manicurist.
“Mary Jane’s Boyfriend” (1974)
Mary Jane’s boyfriend of the title owns a meat market. His name is Walter Butley (Cliff Norton). Harry calls Walter “meathead” because when he walked in the door, Lucy had just plopped a package of ground round on his head.
Possibly the most famous butcher on television was Sam Franklin, played by Allan Melvin on “The Brady Bunch.” Desi Arnaz Jr. appeared on the show in 1970, although Melvin did not appear on that episode. Also, Eve Plumb (Jan Brady) played Lucy Carter’s niece on a 1972 episode of “Here’s Lucy.”
Melvin appeared with Lucille Ball in a 1959 episode of “Sergeant Bilko” (aka “The Phil Silvers Show”) titled “Bilko and the Ape Man.” Melvin also appeared in several Desilu series: “Vacation Playhouse”, “The Danny Thomas Show,” “The Joey Bishop Show,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “The Andy Griffith Show,” “Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C.,” “Mayberry R.F.D.”

Mark Cuban hopped on The Daily Show
youtube
ENTREPRENEURS
Cuban shares health care mission on national TV
Other ‘Daily Show’ topics include Trump, Musk and AI
Dallas billionaire Mark Cuban hopped on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to discuss a variety of topics like his phone conversations with former President Donald Trump, the rise of artificial intelligence and his health care startup, Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs.
Cuban has shifted his focus since selling a majority stake of the Dallas Mavericks to the leadership of casino operator Las Vegas Sands. He’s now on a mission to shake up health care and is ready to take the industry with him. Here are some highlights from his conversation with Daily Show host Jon Stewart.
Cost Plus Drugs
On his Monday television appearance, Cuban said if hospitals want to work with him, they’ll have to be public about it.
Cuban said he’s received the green light to publish the contracts of companies such as hospitals that work with Cost Plus Drugs.
“We’re just getting it approved today. We’re going to publish all contracts,” Cuban said. “Never before has it been done where, for my companies, we’re saying if you want to do business with us, if this hospital system wants to work with my companies, we’re going to publish them and put them online for anybody to see all of our pricing.”
Cuban started Cost Plus Drugs in 2022 with a simple pitch.
The company sells medications at a 15% markup along with a $3 pharmacy fee and a $5 shipping cost, which Cuban has promised is significantly cheaper than traditional methods and would have saved the Mavericks $150,000.
Since launching the Dallas-based company, he’s inked deals with hospital systems, launched a wholesale market and began manufacturing drugs out of Deep Ellum.
“Prior to us, there was no transparency whatsoever and so nobody knew what the price of any medication was,” Cuban said.
“These pharmacy benefit managers are dictating prices left and right. They’re basically stealing money from employers and employees. So we walked in there and said, ‘What’s the one missing piece?’ [It’s] transparency.”
Though the allure of scooping up more power by potentially running for office or raising prices and making money off Cost Plus Drugs is strong, Cuban said he is more interested in changing health care for the long term.
“What could be better than f---ng up the health care system in America so it’s affordable?” he said.
“I don’t want to be 95 and look and say ‘I was president, but I didn’t get to know my kids at all. I’d rather say, ‘I f---ed up health care and everybody’s healthier and got a better world to live in.’”
Musk, Trump and politics
Cuban and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk haven’t always seen eye to eye.
The two have traded verbal spats at one another on Musk’s social media platform, X, over diversity, equity and inclusion policies.
Cuban also recently called out Musk over his leadership at the platform.
To Cuban, Musk’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter in April 2022 has made him one of the most important figures in the world due to how easily accessible the platform is for users.
“Look at Elon, right? He’s trying to be the most influential man in the world,” Cuban said. “Wherever his thumb wants to go, he gets to push as hard or light as he wants.”
Musk has more power globally than he does domestically, Cuban said.
It makes his political beliefs more important as the app has become a safer place for conservative figures, according to a Pew Research Center report.
During his Daily Show appearance, Cuban revealed more details into his relationship with Trump.
Though he said he was open to supporting him in 2016, Cuban has soured on Trump, specifically due to their phone conversations.
“We were talking about this one debate for CNBC that he wasn’t going to be at. I’m like, ‘Donald, why don’t you go to a local, small business and just show off your business chops and show people you’re a businessman,’” Cuban said. “He goes, ‘Donald Trump and Mark Cuban don’t go to people’s houses and have dinner. Are you kidding me?’ That’s who he is.”
Cuban was interested in seeing how Trump was planning to grow a grassroots following when Trump told him he already had a plan.
“When we talked about what’s he going to do with the ground game, [he said] ‘I got all these religious people that are going to do all the work for me,’” Cuban said.
The Dallas billionaire has pledged his support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and warned Trump’s political approach is dangerous for the country, he said.
“He just brought hate and anger to politics and that is his sales pitch,” Cuban said.
“Donald is a sales rep and a salesperson. He’s going to follow what works. He’s going to try all different kinds of things and talk to different people and if it works, he’s going to do more of it.”
Technology
Cuban got his start in the world of technology.
He sold internet radio company Broadcast.com to Yahoo in September 1995 for $5.7 billion.
He remains in the tech world through some of his Shark Tank investments and other endeavors like his cryptocurrency portfolio.
Though Cuban is bullish about artificial intelligence and the United States’ control of the market compared to other countries, he worries that enough bad actors could ruin it for everyone else.
“Everybody’s chasing power and nothing will give you more power than military and AI,” he said.
“We just got to go through it. Because if we don’t, the Chinese and the Russians will. The only thing that holds AI back is processing power, electricity and ingenuity, and I think our ingenuity wins. And that’s why we have to open the door for AI.”
For Cuban, bolstering the strength of artificial intelligence through laws like the CHIPS and Science Act will be important to securing America’s position at the top, potentially tapping into younger generations to lead the way.
“I think we’ll learn and we’ll evolve and the same will happen with AI …,” Cuban said.
“But I think Gen Z has a better understanding and feel of AI and where it’s going and will be able to come up with better uses, implementations and regulations.”

CBN, FAAN relocation: Presidency, others tackle Ndume
The Presidency, on Wednesday, said the Bola Tinubu administration was not planning to relocate the Federal Capital of Nigeria back to Lagos, its previous location. It described the insinuations as a creation of those it called “mischief-makers” bent on “fueling needless ethnic mistrust” to “pit the North against the South.” This followed the Federal Government’s recent decision to relocate the Department of Banking Supervision of the Central Bank of Nigeria to Lagos and the directive of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development to relocate the head office of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria to Lagos. Northern senators and youths have expressed displeasure over the move, which they contended was a calculated move to short-change the North. Applifying the dissenting voices from the North, the Senator representing Borno South Senatorial, Ali Ndume, said President Tinubu was being misinformed by “political cartels” to make wrong decisions. Ndume, who spoke during an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday, said the President was being ill-advised by “Lagos boys” in the corridors of power, stressing the planned relocation would have “political consequences.” But responding to the northern voices on Wednesday, the Presidency in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, dismissed claims that the FCT would be relocated from Abuja. “The status of Abuja as the Federal Capital has come to stay. It is backed by law,” Onanuga, said, It argued that the “rumours” were a creation of the administration’s political opponents who failed to prevent Tinubu’s ascent to the Presidency. Onanuga said, “We consider it necessary to inform Nigerians that there is no iota of truth in the interpretations given to the directives in some quarters and the unfounded claims and rumours that President Bola Tinubu is planning to relocate the Federal Capital back to Lagos. “These rumours, which first surfaced during the electioneering last year, were sponsored by political opponents looking for all manners of weapons to prevent Asiwaju Tinubu from being elected as president by a section of the country. “Those behind this renewed sordid narrative, using the recent decision of the CBN and FAAN as a pretext to start another round of toxic opposition, are dishonest ethnic and regional champions, trying to draw attention to themselves.” Onanuga noted that FAAN, an agency of the Ministry of Aviation, was initially headquartered in Lagos before former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, moved its base to Abuja during the immediate-past administration. He noted that this “does not amount to moving the Federal Capital to Lagos.” “FAAN will still maintain some presence in Abuja. It is not a wholesale movement,” he noted, adding that the administrative move should have ordinarily attracted scant attention, as Lagos is the commercial capital and the hub of aviation business in Nigeria. Similarly, the Presidency said the movement of the Department of Banking Supervision of the CBN to Lagos “should not trigger any discord within the polity,” as the department concerned deals with commercial banks, almost all of which are headquartered in Lagos. Therefore, “All those pushing this campaign of falsehood and misinformation know they are merely playing politics, albeit a dangerous politics, to pit the North against the South,” it said. Onanuga affirmed that the Tinubu-led administration was “working tirelessly to be just and equitable to every section of the country,” urging restraint on the part of those it called rumour mongers who “distract every government from the noble objective of meeting the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians.” Meanwhile, the Senator representing Kogi-West, Karimi Sunday, on Wednesday, faulted Ndume’s comments on the planned relocation. Karimi said Ndume’s comment was personal and did not in any way represent the position of the Senate. In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Karimi said it was needless for Ndume to attach ethnic or other sentiments to the relocation of the offices, which he said, was done “for cohesion and better delivery of services.” He said, “Leaders need to avoid utterances that will heat up the polity and cause division and disaffection amongst the federating units of the country,” adding, “Senator Ndume’s position is personal and doesn’t represent the position of the Nigerian Senate.” Also, a former spokesperson for former President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has cautioned Ndume. Reacting in an open letter, Okupe said Ndume’s “pronouncement on the above subject matter is provocative and unexpected of a politician of your pedigree and position in the Nigerian polity.” Meanwhile, a former President of the Ijaw Youth Council, Udengs Eradiri, has appealed to President Tinubu to consider the relocation of some critical federal agencies involved in the oil business to the Niger Delta region. Eradiri, who was the Labour Party governorship candidate in last year’s Bayelsa State governorship election, said the decongestion of Abuja was long overdue. He, therefore, urged Tinubu to compel the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited to move the headquarters of some of its subsidiaries to the capital cities of some states in the Niger Delta. He said cities such as Yenagoa in Bayelsa, Port Harcourt in Rivers, Uyo in Akwa Ibom, and Asaba in Delta, among others, were ready to become hosts of such agencies and to ensure adequate security for them. “We recall that during the visit of Yemi Osinbajo, in his capacity as an acting President, he promised that the Federal Government would compel oil multinationals to relocate their offices to the Niger Delta region. However, throughout the lifespan of that administration, that promise was not fulfilled. “We know that a new sheriff is in town with new and unique ways of doing things. The new government believes in decentralisation and even development. In the spirit of the ongoing decongestion of the Capital Territory, we appeal to the President to remember the Niger Delta by compelling NNPCL to send the headquarters of their subsidiaries to the region. “It will facilitate the development of our region and give all communities a sense of belonging. It will also stop incessant attacks on oil facilities by persons who feel sidelined by the operations of oil companies in our region,” Eradiri said in a statement on Wednesday. aid Read the full article

Blind Uncle Harry is back with a new song: Courage To Love
Blind Uncle Harry has recently announced a new song titled “Courage To Love.” The track is a fresh, upbeat rock tune with a 70s touch and a melodic side. The first thing that stands out is the guitar pattern, which takes the centre spot in the arrangement the moment you hit the play button. The sound is jangly, staccato and very percussive while also bringing an added melodic layer to the sound. The vocals join in soon after, and the sound is immediately easy to latch on to. The vocal performance has lots of character and personality, at times echoing the early work of pioneers such as Television, Richard Hell, and Lou Reed, only to mention a few. Still, Blind Uncle Harry also brings a 90s indie touch to the table, tipping the hat off to artists such as Beck or Blur. All of the above artists are mentioned for reference only because by no means is Blind Uncle Harry lifting the formula wholesale: He managed to develop a rather one-of-a-kind sound, loaded with personality and vision. “Courage To Love” is the perfect rocking power-pop song. The “Na-nas” seal the deal, especially with an added layer of female vocals harmonizing the part perfectly! The track shows that “less is more”, and a great song concept doesn’t have to feature an overly complicated arrangement with difficult and ornate parts. With guitar, bass, a tambourine and a well-arranged vocal structure, you really have everything you need, and even a whole lot more than that!
Check out “Courage To Love”, and do listen to Blind Uncle Harry’s music on Bandcamp or other streaming services.

Best Real Estate Advertisement Networks Platform in USA
In the 1970s, when the real estate industry was at its peak, people were exposed to 500 advertising per day. I'm sure closing a business was straightforward back then. A study on ad exposure conducted decades later (in 2007) indicated that adults in the 2000s were exposed to between 4,000 and 10,000 advertisements each day.
You can only imagine what this figure is today with all of the social media traffic going through phones
So, how should a real estate investor design their marketing approach for the 2020s? It's difficult since you have to compete harder for motivated sellers' attention. After all, the number of commercials they are exposed to has increased tenfold. But don't give up on your high-converting campaigns.
But don't give up on real estate advertising ideas just yet, because there is a silver lining to this dramatic shift in the marketing scene. You, like the ordinary customer, are exposed to thousands of adverts per day.
In some ways, you are an expert because you have been performing your "research" for years. You do it on the couch, during your daily commute or at work, and after work when you watch a movie to unwind.
Developing Real Estate Ad Concepts
Seeing an advertisement is obviously easier than creating one. This is where we come in to share real estate advertising ideas. They are aimed towards persons who are stuck in a creative rut as well as those who are just starting out in real estate investing.
market.
These days, you can advertise a Commercial Real Estate PPC ad through a variety of media venues, including social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube), but also traditional media such as radio or television. With the exception of a few outliers that will only work in one medium, the following topic ideas are broad and can be applied in a variety of media.
Let's get started.
The advertisement "My Stats Are Great"
You may boast about statistics that present a positive image of your real estate company. The figures are not the only thing in the advertisement. In the introduction, you can include a hook, such as "sell your house without a realtor or listings."
The figures could be illuminated from various angles. If you want to,
Real Estate Advertising Platforms You might showcase your all-time sales figures to illustrate that you have a good long-term track record. Say something like, "We've closed x number of houses this year, and it's only March!" if you're having a good year.
The advertisement with the "Unique Selling Proposition"
Inform visitors about a one-of-a-kind deal that sets you apart from other real estate investors in the area. Obviously, in your market, this concept should be unique, or at the very least uncommon. And it will be unique to each individual.
greater outcomes. The unique selling proposition can vary: maybe you specialize in certain types of transactions, maybe you have a lot of experience, maybe your procedure is optimized... you get the picture. This ad will act as a teaser for something you won't find anywhere else. For example, you could say you offer unlisted homes (or off-market properties) but don't explain how - they'd have to call you to find out. You might also hint that you are excellent at negotiating wholesale deals while without disclosing specifics.
You can also make modifications.
Advertisement for a Listing
You've certainly heard of this option, but it's a classic way to place real estate ads, and it's a classic that's here to stay. Furthermore, despite the proliferation of many forms of media (newspaper - radio),
- TV - online listings - social media), it is a simple format that hasn't changed much over time.
The Ad in the Community
This is similar to a listings ad, however you are selling the entire real estate market rather than an individual house. The neighborhood ad is great for real estate firms that specialize in houses within a certain ZIP code or city.
You list a property or promote your business, but you use a famous cityscape, such as city towers, as a background. Real Estate Branding Agency Those of you interested in investing in land can do it in an undisturbed setting, such as a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere or something similar.
Another technique is to promote the way of life in the neighborhood. Highlights
Recreation places, school district benefits, fantastic restaurants and coffee shops, shopping, historic buildings, local culture, and so on are examples.
Here's a great example of a vintage lifestyle real estate advertisement.
Commercial "I'm a Local"
Working in a local real estate market allows you to position yourself as a valuable resource to potential buyers and sellers. Instead of promoting your company, introduce yourself.
What's great about living here, what's not...You can even end with something like, "come here, and I'll help you find real estate here." It's a successful real estate advertisement for both purchasing and selling.
Commercial for "We Got an Award"
Contrary to popular assumption, this type of advertising is not limited to celebrities.
recognition for their work. No, we're not recommending that you fabricate an award and then lie about obtaining it. Please allow me to clarify.
If you have received an award as a Best Real Estate Ads business, whether from the county, a professional association, or house sellers, it is a good idea to start the ad with this information because it establishes credibility right away. However, if you are new to the firm or do not have an award, you can always choose something that makes you proud to be a part of it.

TAMPA, Fla. — After recently investing in Spain's largest reforestation project, Madrid-based operator hispasat hopes to use a satellite SpaceX will launch next month to support other sustainability projects in Latin America. Hispasat announced last week that it had acquired a 10.85% stake in Sylvestris, a sustainability-focused subsidiary of Spanish energy and petrochemical company Repsol. Sylvestris' Green Engine project aims to offset the carbon dioxide emissions produced by industrialists such as Repsol - and the Spanish electricity company Red Eléctrica which owns Hispasat - by reforesting burnt or wasted land. Although financial details of the investment were not disclosed, Hispasat's director of strategy and transformation, Ana Molina, said it was a "multi-million" deal. dollars that reinforces the operator's commitment to rural areas in Spain. Hispasat launched a 100 megabit per second wholesale broadband service throughout Spain as part of this campaign in 2021, Molina said. Through Green Engine, the operator aims to provide connectivity and solutions to monitor remote environments off terrestrial networks, including measuring the carbon that trees absorb and protecting them from fires. Green Engine "also represents an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of technology in the development of solutions applied to these environments", added Molina, which "can be exported to other similar projects and to other regions" . SpaceX is set to launch Hispasat's latest geostationary satellite, the Thales Alenia Space-built Amazonas Nexus, on Feb. 5 on a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Molina said the Ku-band spacecraft, which also has Ka-band feeder links for telemetry and control, is designed to offer "advanced connectivity services" in both continents of the Americas, Greenland and the Lanes. North Atlantic shipping. Using broadband and narrowband, Hispasat said the satellite could support a combination of sensing devices to monitor remote forests, including surveillance cameras. “Therefore, throughout his life he will be able to offer [sustainability-focused] services in regions of interest to Repsol or Hispasat, such as Latin America,” she said. The majority of Hispasat's revenues come from the Americas, primarily Latin America, where the company is also seeing growing demand from government and commercial aviation customers. Hispasat's push towards sustainability projects is part of a strategy forged after its 2019 sale to Red Eléctrica to become a satellite solutions provider, instead of just a capacity wholesaler. The strategy in 2021 saw Hispasat take over the signal management and transport business of Media Networks Latin America, a multimedia subsidiary of Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica which uses Hispasat satellites to provide television services. In 2022, Hispasat acquired Spain-based managed services provider AXESS Networks to strengthen solutions for enterprise customers in Latin America. Hispasat also bought the fifth of its Brazil-based subsidiary Hispamar last year that it did not already own in another push into the region, which is becoming increasingly competitive as several operators trace their own satellites to meet growing demand for connectivity.

Do you have a rant in you about Emeril Lagasse like you do about Bobby Flay?
I...hm. I think in a way I both have no rants and also three rants, when it comes to Emeril Lagasse.
The Rant That's Actually About Bobby Flay
All these TV chefs, particularly those who came up in Food Network when the food-entertainment field was super regulated and gatekept, you really only know what you see of them directly and what you might hear about them from other sources. They're not like regular celebs where a huge chunk of their lives is public and covered in gossip rags and such. Not to make a rant about Emeril Lagasse into a rant about Bobby Flay, but the reason I have a rant locked and loaded about Bobby Flay is that he's shown his ass in public enough for me to decide he's not someone I'd want to hang out with, even considering the above.
It's kind of a self-selection sort of deal. Because while I like food tv I don't watch much of it and haven't for probably like 15 years, you have to have been somewhat egregious, like Flay or Batali, to draw enough of my ire that I have a rant. (I don't actually have a rant about Mario Batali, I'm too scared of Eataly to try it and otherwise all I know is that he's a serial harasser.)
2. The Rant That's Actually About Fatphobia
My immediate thought when I got this ask was "I haven't thought about Emeril in years, oh man, did he do something awful?" but a quick goog and the worst I could find was that while liking Barack Obama he didn't like his attitude towards regulatory legislation. Which, you know, in the scheme of things lately is a pretty minor issue. Not that I think you're taking a personal swipe at him, but culturally it seems that as with Guy Fieri, Emeril Lagasse's cardinal sin is that he is
a) A loud personality
b) In a fat body
c) on television.
And my patience for the confusion of "tacky" and "fat" and "bad" is growing very, very thin. Especially since Emeril and Guy are the rare people who could be fat and because they have pretty wild personalities still thrive in the modern YouTube-TikTok era of food entertainment, where conventional attractiveness and thin bodies are pretty much prerequisites for fame of any kind. If you are fat on video today you truly have to be exceptional in some way and working twice as hard in order to have any success, let alone the kind of success top influencers have.
If Guy Fieri as an unknown today did what B Dylan Hollis does, he would not get the reaction B Dylan Hollis gets. No beef with Hollis, work what you've got, but if Hollis was fat he'd be at best the butt of jokes about how he'll eat anything, and the worse TikTok makes fatphobia in this country the less patience I have for it. Emeril, who also looks Faintly Ethnic and puts an emphasis on Portuguese and Creole flavors and techniques in his cooking, might very well just simply be ignored.
3. The Rant That Isn't Actually A Rant At All
Here is my memoir about Emeril Lagasse: my mother discovered Emeril's first show, Essence Of Emeril, when I was in my middle-teens; she saw it on some hotel TV while traveling, and brought it back to the family, and we all really enjoyed it. The idea of a chef having a specific spice blend or a food brand was either very new or wholesale conceptualized by Emeril, with his Essence Of Emeril spice blend, which was posted as a recipe as well as sold in stores, so you could make it at home fairly easily. It was still relatively unspicy; I could eat it, and my brother was obsessed with it, which made it a pretty useful foodstuff in our household. Our constant struggle to get my brother to expand his palate so we weren't cooking him an entirely separate dinner was real, and Essence helped with that since he'd sprinkle it on food he wouldn't normally eat, like spaghetti noodles or baked fish or porkchops, and then happily eat it.
So I have perhaps understandably fond memories of Emeril, because he was something the family agreed was enjoyable, and his recipes (while often complicated) produced pretty delicious food.
There's actually a moment in Infinite Jes, when Eddie's talking about his career, where I touch directly back to me being a fan of Essence Of Emeril and watching him make the leap to Emeril Live.
If you watch Essence of Emeril, it's your standard Chef Behind A Counter On A Soundstage show, very Julia Child -- he's boisterous and enthusiastic and he's already honing his "Bam!" schtick, but there's nothing for him to work with. He hasn't got an audience and it's almost painful to see now because you can see where he unconsciously reaches for an audience reaction. It's a relief to watch early Emeril Live because he's got a studio audience, someone to respond to, someone who reacts when he makes a loud noise or finishes a beautiful dish. I put that moment into Infinite Jes, where Eddie's trying to make a dumb little fun cooking show in college and doesn't really "break" until two stoners walk into the kitchen and he's got other people to bounce off of. In some ways, because I watched way more Emeril than I did Guy at a formative moment, Eddie's actual career owes more to Emeril than to Guy.
I think Emeril's had a rough go of it in the past decade or so; you don't hear about him much, and part of the reason is that a lot of his business ventures haven't done well. He sold most of the remaining ones to Martha Stewart and lately has focused on his restaurants, as I understand it.
In conclusion
So yeah...the only rant I have about Emeril Lagasse is actually a rant about fatphobia, I guess; if it turns out he's like a super vocal Trump supporter or something that'll be a tragedy (and given he's based out of Florida, it's not unlikely he could have uncomfortable shit to say about the pandemic, but as far as I can tell he hasn't). It seems without in-depth research that he's a decent guy whose time has somewhat passed, and who decided to focus on what he enjoys about being a chef over doing stuff he doesn't like because the money's good.

I’ve spoken about a TMA adaptation on this blog before, what I think it might look like etc. but I don’t think I’ve ever actually made a proper post about what would realistically be possible in a TMA adaptation, with Archive 81′s (disastrous) adaptation coming at us at full speed, I want to talk about a TMA adaptation and what that might look like
Here is the biggest thing: We will never see a podcast-accurate TMA adaptation
The Magnus Archives podcast as it is now will never be taken and adapted 100% faithfully to a television medium it just is not possible. I’m not talking about the tapes or the apocalypse or Jonmartin you could still adapt those faithfully I’m talking about the STATEMENTS
The statements, the core of TMA, will not be adapted faithfully, it is impossible.
Each Magnus episode is one statement, this statement is between twenty minutes to half an hour long, each season of Magnus contains forty episodes and there are five seasons for a grand total of 200 episodes. No platform is going to adapt that wholesale. It’s too much money, time, and effort for something that is not guaranteed to be successful, the absolute BEST we could hope for is 12 forty minute episodes split into five seasons. Realistically would probably be 6-8 episodes for the first season if not all seasons and the other four seasons would NOT be guaranteed out of the gate
(Also this isn’t really relevant but I doubt it would be hosted on Netflix. Archive 81 and the Magnus Archives sound VERY similar on paper despite being entirely different in execution and both have the word “Archive” in their title, so Netflix probs wouldn’t take both and if they did... they might change TMA’s name. I know how horrifying that sounds but given that Archive 81 got to keep its name and came first The Magnus Archives might get a title change to avoid confusion, probably nothing super different to still appeal to fans. I’m thinking “The Magnus Institute” is the most likely. So have fun with that let’s get back to this actual post) (I just realized if changed to “The Magnus Institute” the show’s abbreviation becomes TMI and that’s the funniest possible change they could make)
So the statements would have to go, except, they wouldn’t actually. The statements could stay, they would just look drastically different
The statements, the anthology, would becomes the bulk of these 40-60 minute episodes instead of the bulk of a 20-30 minute episode. Which means we would probably see statements either combined into one mega-statement, or get entirely new statements, or most likely some sort of combination of the two. You won’t see Lost John’s Cave adapted, but you might see a girl trapped in a cave with a monster chasing her while the candles and fire are now a MUCH bigger deal to hint at more fear entities at once in a single statement. This is the only way I see to handle statements and it’s unfortunate that without the right writers this could get bloated SO quick, but I do think it is possible for this to work.
It’s kinda gonna depend on your own personal opinion if you hate that or not, but it’s what I think will happen. If TMA gets adapted wholesale with 200 TV episode I will eat a spider. Like. I will order one of those canned edible tarantulas and eat it Now, the statements would be changed drastically, but... what about everything else? The characters? The themes? The events? The relationships?
That could be kept. Untouched
The question is... will it?
We all heard what Netflix did to Archive 81 in erasing a queer protagonists identity, the fear is that it or some other streaming service will do the same thing to TMA. I understand this, we now know that it is a VERY real possibility. But I don’t think it’s guaranteed. It’s going to depend on who gets it and how involved Rusty Quill and Jonny would be in it
I think it is possible to get an adaptation of TMA that still feels like TMA
But it is equally possible to get an adaptation of TMA that feels nothing like TMA
I think TMA is more likely to be accurate if it gets picked up by FX or HBO rather than a streaming service like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon but that’s just a gut feeling I could be talking out of my ass
Of course, what are the chances of a TMA adaptation? I say... wiggly hand gestures. TMA was massively popular in its prime and if, for better or worse, Archive 81 is successful, the chances of TMA getting an adaptation goes up to decent I think. But I don’t know the logistics of how a show gets picked up very well
Finally, do I personally want a TMA adaptation? Yes. Very much so yes. If it has a team behind it who cares I think it could be great, I would like to see that, that’s the adaption I want
But I’m curious to see what other fans’ honest opinions of this are, do you hate the idea regardless? Or do you like me think that a good TMA adaptation is worth hoping for?
Edit: One last thing! It is likely that if TMA is made into a TV show, it will not be Jonny’s decision. At least not entirely, Rusty Quill (Alex) will be the one who ultimately decides and signs off on it I THINK. I could be wrong. But I believe that’s how it would work. I doubt they’d do it without consulting Jonny, but it would not be his decision alone
#tma#the magnus archives#side note surprise 81 got adapted before nightvale#or maybe saying that out loud I shouldn't be
