The Truth

I know I told you that the reason I was deleting my account was because of my  parents’ lack of trust in me,   Due to my sister’s immaturity.

I know I told you that we were best friends, I know I told you that our friendship would never come to an end.

I know I told you that if you waited for me I might give you a chance I know i told you a lot of things but most of the time I had no idea what I was talking about.

I wish I could tell you that the reason we stopped talking was because you were messing with my mind Not in the way that you would want to, but in a way that made me realize that it was time For our friendship to cease to be. I wish I could tell you that I did care about this friendship But all that ended when you lied to me.

I told you I just wanted to be friends  When the kids in school started teasing us. You called me your sister and I thought that was weird but hey! At least it gets me out of this fuss And stops you from thinking about us as anything but.

Yet this didn’t stop you from ‘falling in love with me’ as you put it so graciously. I wish I could tell you how dreadful it was to think that all this while I thought of you as a brother while you were thinking about fornicating me.

I wish I could tell you that I did not mind that you loved me In fact I was ecstatic since it meant that I had a lovable personality

I wish I could tell you that I admire your courage to confess That I appreciate you liking me even though I was a mess. 

I wish I could tell you that the reason i said no was not because you’re ugly But because how awkward it was for me when you asked me to be your ‘life-partner’ while less than 10 minutes ago I was your ‘sister’.

I wish I could tell you how uncomfortable I was when you randomly sent me a picture of Bella Hadid and told me that you found me prettier and thought that made you look sweet.

I wish I could tell you how creepy it was when you would ask my friends for pictures of me without asking me first and send them to me randomly and tell me how it made your heart burst.

I wish I could tell you how stupid it was of you to tell me that you were over me when you weren’t and that you thought of me as your sister once again Even if that was the exact thing that eliminated the possibility of use ever being more than friends.

I wish I could tell you how foolish it was of you to think that me not being ready for a relationship was the only reason I said no and that time would change would change the way I looked at you when i never even said so.

I wish I could tell you that when I told you pour out your heart to the girl you love I did not expect it to be someone who considered you to be her brother, And expressed it vocally in the past.

I wish I could tell you all the million little things you did that made me despise you.

But of course I can’t because I would never wanna hurt your feelings that are so very fragile No matter how much I want to, I’m not that vile.

This is where we start.

I dont know where it all went wrong. Maybe it’s your fault, maybe it’s mine. Maybe it’s just not the time. I was left hanging—again. Day by day it became clearer. You’re not coming back. I should face this alone. It may took me months, years. But I know I can. It’s ok to feel the pain, it’s ok to be devastated. I know it wont be easy, but time will come and everything will be ok. Break up sucks! But that’s life. Some people will stay, some will go. Some will hurt you, some will teach you a lot. At the end of the day, it will always be your call. You can start moving on anytime you want. Anytime you’re ready. Dont rush everything. It will come. Time will come.
