@rred_hood: hey guys. sorry for the radio silence, but i needed some time to figure things out w/ everything that’s been going on. just to give a quick update: these past few months i’ve been working on bettering myself, both physically and mentally. mostly though, i need to re-evaluate the people i allow to be in my life vs. the people i actually want around.

as you all know, artemis and i were seen out together a couple of months back, despite our very toxic relationship in the past. i’ve mentioned her abuse towards me here and there before, but now i wanna set the record straight.

me and artemis were NEVER happy. point blank. the first few months of our relationship seemed amazing, sure, but every moment after that felt like hell on earth. im not gonna go into the specifics of her treatment towards me (bcs frankly it’s not anyone’s business but mine), but the only reason we met up last month was to hopefully make peace with what happened during the time we were together.

as for the copyright situation and my alleged involvement in it; everything will be revealed before of the judge. while im legally not allowed to speak on it at this time, i will go ahead and apologize in advance for the news you’ll be hearing in the upcoming days…

before i post this, though, i publicly want to say this: @y/nforeal im GENUINELY sorry for any of the pain or stress all of this has caused you. i betrayed your trust, and have absolutely no expectations for you to forgive me. believe it or not, every second of our time together felt like pure bliss, and you’re the last person i ever wanted to hurt. i sincerely hope that you get everything you’ve ever dreamed of in life, regardless of whether i get to be part of the journey, or have to cheer you on from afar.

Case Closed, Artemis Grace headed straight to the slammer! Where does this leave us now? (2/27/2023 1:42 PM PT)

From TikTok, to Instagram; almost all of social media has been flooded with people's response to the verdict of one of the biggest cases in Hollywood right now. Fans all over the internet have been posting nothing but support of the court's ruling. The hashtag "#WHOMPWHOMP" has even found itself trending on twitter in response to Artemis' behavior displayed throughout the trial.

The celeb's unsavory etiquette is nothing new though. From sobbing in the witness stand, to lashing out at her own lawyer, Artemis has shown nothing but discomposure since the day charges were pressed against her. But, for everyone new here, let's start from the beginning.

For those who may not have been keeping up with the story, back in September, acclaimed singer Y/N Y/LN took legal action against Artemis Grace on the grounds of copyright infringement. After months of speculation, investigators found that Grace had illegally distributed a song that had absolutely no business being in her possession in the first place.

Although the track was taken very favorably by fans and casual listeners alike, the actual artist was nowhere near pleased. Once sharing her feelings about the situation online, Y/N immediately put her emotions into a new album, the same album that led her to receive the first grammy of her career.

Aside from the copyright violation though, Artemis is also being sued for causing emotional distress in regards to all the drama she got wrapped up in with her ex-boyfriend, Jason Todd.

While Jason and Y/N were presumed to have been dating since March of last year (if not earlier), that fantasy was quickly ruined when Artemis and Todd were caught being uncomfortably close with each other outside of a club last August.

Of course, many fans on both sides were reasonably hurt by the news. Those who have been following Y/N for a while now may know that she has had trouble opening up to people in the past; something she has expressed quite a bit in her music. So, when word broke out that Jason seemed to be playing with her feelings, her supporters were beyond furious.

Even songwriter Cassandra Cain, Jason's adopted sister, made sure to support Y/N in every way that she could. The two have been friends for years now, having officially met back in 2020 at the billboard music awards. While Cassandra isn't a woman of many words, she made sure that her actions spoke volumes.

Late last year, she helped Y/N write one of the songs for her latest album, basically ensuring her win at this year's Grammys. Outside of music though, posts have been made by the two besties seemingly having the time of their lives.

Between the high emotions and the immense camaraderie being shown, fans have come to the conclusion that both women may have gotten together at some point while working together.

Without a doubt, there was an obvious tension between the duo while doing promotions for their shared single. Cassandra, though a notable lesbian icon in the community, has yet to speak up on the rumors (and, knowing her, probably never will).

Back to the legal proceedings, the heartbreaker in question was also present during Artemis' trial. In order to shed some light on the story, Jason Todd appeared before the court as a witness in hopes of ensuring that Y/N wins this case.

Unlike Artemis, Jason showed nothing but absolute remorse for his actions. About a month ago, the Gothamite made a post to his instagram page detailing the shame he felt by being involved in such acts, although in reality he had little participation to begin with.

While on trial, it was found that Todd actually had little to no involvement with the illegal distribution of the track. In fact, Artemis herself confessed that he only talked about Y/N having a song that was "in the works". He also revealed to her that the track was "something his girlfriend (had) dedicated it to him", thus confirming our suspicions of their relationship status.

Alongside this, she also admitted that their meet up back in August originally had nothing to do with music, nor were they trying to rekindle their disastrous affair. Jason did state that he was notably intoxicated that night, while Artemis indicated that she "hadn't had anything to drink" prior to their conversation.

In the end, after the grueling legal battle, Artemis is soon to be locked up after receiving a firm guilty ruling from the judge. The now former singer has been sentenced to three years in prison without possibility of parole, in addition to paying $25,000 as compensation for emotional distress.

Outside the courtroom Y/N and Jason were seen speaking together away from everyone else, as well as sharing a meaningful hug before parting ways. The heartwarming image that was caught by paparazzi has given shippers more than enough hope that the two celebs can hopefully rekindle the love they once had.

i swear i'm being so fr right now: have you thought about publishing? i really, really think you'd do well. what you're doing is honestly a lot better than a lot of published books rn. and considering how MUCH you write too? and the original characters you come up with? you'd only have to change the cod characters a bit not to get sued and you'd be golden. i'm being very serious rn. you already have lots of people dedicated to your work and i don't think you'd have issues pulling new readers in! the original content in your work is so engaging on its own already.

lmao a few friends have brought it up but i honestly don't think fanfic translates over to published work very well most of the time (obvious exceptions at least success wise are those adapted reylo/twilight etc fics). you (general you) only care about these characters because you know them from the source material, without that context me putting them in a different one is just not very interesting imo. and re better or not, i'm FAR from as good as other fanfic authors that aren't publishing their work (other than on ao3 obvs) and with the huge amount of Actual Books it's not hard to be better than some of them 💀

don't get me wrong it's a HUGE compliment (especially about my original characters 🙏) since there are a few (and one Main) original works i've always wanted to write but never did bc Who Care lol but i don't think someone with my lack of experience should be setting goals like that instead of just trying to get better

bow anon you should not be asking me fr cause i failed my driving exam 4-5 times and it took like maybe 1-1.5 years for me to get my license LMFAO (my dad taught me and he's fucking SHIT at driving also he kept yelling and getting mad at lil ol me so every time i drove with an instructor, i kept panicking and blanking out 💀 I OBVIOUSLY DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE I AM A VERY SAFE DRIVER YALL 😭😭)

BUT WITH MANY FAILURES COMES MANY LESSONS TRUST LMAOO

since you're an adult, you don't technically need to record your hours and be monitored by someone who is like 25 and has a license (which, if i remember correctly, was like either 60-70 hours in all but 50/60 had to be in the daytime and 10 had to be in the night) but if you have anyone like family or friends that does have their license and is actually good at driving, i would recommend asking them for help and actually doing the hours even if you don't need to do it.

alright below this line is a whole lot of rambling about driving shit lol

when i started driving, i mostly practiced around my neighborhood since the speed limit is slow but you gotta try going into the freeway/highway a few times to get used to the speed and how everyone else drives. I WAS TERRIFIED DRIVING IN THE FREEWAY don't get me wrong, i literally couldn't go on it for months without either of my parents with me or my sibling cause i ain't dying alone (joking) but it's pretty easy since everyone else is literally only going straight until you need to exit lmao four way stops is probably the most stressful part of driving cause everyone is fucking ass at driving in them and moving every which way trying to get to their destination (prolly bc my city is the absolute worst when it comes to traffic).

15 mph for parking lots + some schools, 20-25 mph for some neighborhoods and schools (AND MAKE SURE THAT THERE'S LITERALLY NO KIDS BC I GOT IMMEDIATELY FAILED FOR THAT SHIT EVEN THO I SAW NO KIDS 😒), 30-35 mph in some roads (could be near non-gated housings or certain areas of the city, always follow what the construction sign's mph is but it's usually around this limit), 45 mph for most roads in general, 65-70 mph for most highways/freeways/rural areas (idk if i'm remembering the rural one right lol). the instructors always check for your speed so make sure you're reading your speed limit signs for the area you're in.

never speed and i'm being so serious about this, i've always hated speeders especially in the city where i live. you don't get to your destination faster, you only inconvenience everyone else, you could endanger your life and other's, and it's just a stupid fucking thing in general to lose your life over. i rarely go above 5 mph above the speed limit and depending on your city's laws, it can be allowed/tolerated. but for the test, don't go above the speed limit.

make sure (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT WHEN YOU'RE TAKING THE ACTUAL DRIVING TEST) that you COMPLETELY stop behind the big ol white line in stop signs and traffic lights. they'll dock you a lot if you make "california" stops. make sure that when you change lanes, ALWAYS SIGNAL, and visibly turn your head to check for your blind spots (i check from side mirror to back window to the furthest back window (not the trunk window but if your car has a third mirror, that's what i'm referring to)) cause the instructors eat that shit up (i still do that even tho my car has sensors cause sometimes they don't immediately sense the other vehicles when they're at a certain point).

how i remember signaling with the knob thing is right is heaven (like right hand of god so up) and left is hell (left is usually associated with the devil so down, sorry to my lefties i'm not calling you demons that's just how i remember it 😭). when you signal, push it completely up/down cause there's a mode (if you have it in the car) where you can briefly tap it and it'll signal for like 3 clicks, but i recommend during the test to push it completely up/down and to stop it, you just pull it back up (but don't do it to a force where you're gonna signal to the other side again). and when you signal, make sure there's no one there and then move in carefully and accelerate back to the normal speed. if you're in-between two cars and the one behind you slows down, make sure you slow down a little to not hit the car in front of you but fast enough to not hit the car behind you.

also make sure that your seat, driving wheel, and mirrors are completely adjusted to your liking cause it helps with visibility and safety (i'm pretty sure that the wheel has to be like 10 inches away from your body and you can adjust it to have it be closer/further from you or up and down). don't ever hard brake during the test (unless you're in danger of hitting someone/something), think of that spongebob episode where he puts his toe down on the brake gently (he ain't even a good example of a good driver LMAO), but you gotta make sure that you are braking at a distance where you're not gonna whiplash you and your passenger(s) if you press down on it too hard.

idk in your city if you have arrows that signal left turns in traffic lights, but when it's blinking yellow, YOU MAKE SURE THAT THE OTHER CARS ON THE OTHER SIDE ARE FAR AWAY ENOUGH FOR YOU TO MAKE THAT TURN BUT DO NOT WAIT FOR THEM TO BE TOO CLOSE ENOUGH TO WHERE YOU END UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION WITH THE YELLOW ARROW TURNING RED!!!!! it's good to be cautious, especially since you have a random person in the car with you, but sometimes you gotta make critical decisions. if the cars on the other side are starting to clear up to where you can safely make a turn, you can slowly inch forwards towards the middle of the intersection to make your turn. make sure that when you turn into a new lane (right or left), you turn into the lane that follows into the lane. i might have to draw like a diagram of this but never go into the furthest lane from where you turn cause that's technically dangerous in the instructor's + the law's eyes.

in freeways/highways/general roads, the furthest left lane is usually for like people driving higher than the speed limit. don't know why it's legal but they're the ones that want to get to their destination quickly. don't go in this lane if you're going to drive the speed limit cause they'll get pissy and overtake you. middle lane(s) cause in my city, there can be 4-5 lanes, it is like the transition lanes. you can drive the speed limit here but it's mostly used for switching over to the exits and the fast lane. then there is the right lane, which is used for exits or slow vehicles, pretty self-explanatory. i usually go into it when i'm either a mile or two away from my exit/turn bc i still panic a little trying to get into the lane and no one is letting me in.

make sure you're always on the look-out while driving, don't stare directly forwards and don't constantly wander your eyes cause you could get into an accident. just continuously glance here and there in your front and mirrors to make sure you're not gonna hurt someone. when it's night and there's an asshole with bright lights coming towards you, try focusing on the bottom right of where your windshield is/the headlight of the car to make sure that you're not flashbanged (but be careful until that bright light car is out of sight). night driving is not too bad, just make sure your headlights are on if it's not auto and make sure you aren't tired while driving. my driving instructor in high school said that if you're tired while driving, you can park in the side of the road and do little exercises to pump up your blood again but like that's so fucking risky esp if you're a woman and it's night 💀💀

Some people are really out here getting PAID to write sh!t posts about people they've never met....I can't say I know what it's like to be in their position, taking money to be an awful person online, so I can thank my lucky stars I'm not in such a moral predicament. I sometimes wonder if it's a job they love or a job born of necessity. 😩

Some people have had bad experiences in life and they take that out on people they don't personally know. (This isn't me doing an analysis on anyone. This is me regurgitating what people who have studied longer on this topic have said.) They've met someone who they thought the sun shined out of their a$$ and got burnt by it and now every time they see a sun they think it's completely dark on the other side.

I fail to see (and you might too because this next paragraph is convoluted 🙏) how in one breath they question just how genuine this particular group member is by believing in posts from other anons (who had to probably buy the information so they think it's valid, but it's just specious) who don't even know if the information they're posting is accurate and also taking little tidbits of partial moments or conversations between members & this group member that were joking or otherwise and calling the people they support super direct & super genuine, but also not believing them the other times they've praised this person they hate on for being so wonderful. It doesn't follow logic.

They ignore all the hugs, kisses, kind words, thoughtful interactions, and thank you's over all the years between all the members just to point out.....what exactly...??? That they don't believe that all those interactions were genuine??? That they don't believe all those interactions happen off camera too or something???? After saying the people they support are the most genuine??? And they interact with this person...that they don't...think??? Is??? Genuine??? Even??? Off???? Camera???? 💀 Nah fr fr....it IS so much easier to just listen to the members and believe what they say instead of twisting things around to match some preconceived idea of who a person is based on the insanely small amounts of time we get to see them on camera. Why are they stanning a group (or member) that's promoted as genuine if they don't think they're genuine??? And that honestly means they're all genuine or they're all NOT genuine because what we do see of them is the only thing we can actually make theories about. And what we see of them on camera and what they've explained to us about what they do off camera is that they all love each other to pieces.

So we can pretty much categorize taekookers under this category too. They do it for different reasons but they definitely are the type not to believe what their eyes see, but they still see it so they lash out against a particular person and a particular agency. Some are brainwashed. Some can't leave the community they feel comfortable in. Some are addicted to the feeling of looking for the wrongs in the world and being a savior of this one group of people. Some do it because it adds what they think is a measure of control to their lives. There's various reasons and it's all being heavily studied right now due to the Q-anon conspiracy theorists. Flat earthers, anti-vaxxers, government conspiracy theorists, religious fundamentalists, N@zis, people that deny the moon landing...etc...they're all using the same fallacy pitfalls. And it's possible that people who fall under one category are more likely to be predisposed to fall under the others. It makes them kinda like ticking time 💣. The more their lies are proven to be unfounded, the more loss of control they feel or the more pressure they feel to "take drastic actions to become the savior of the story." That's how we got January 6th in America, September 11, 2001, April 19, 1995 in Oklahoma....and how that Weverse post happened.

They aren't the crusaders they think they are and everything they see, hear, touch, interact with in regards to the members gets placed through this inaccurate filter first. And I mean EVERYTHING. 😩

Do not, under any circumstances, underestimate how dangerous this group can become if they feel pushed hard enough. This Weverse post happened over a "bite" that had happened months before the fandom even found out about it.

Then you have this group: they jealous 🙃

They want what they can't have and they want it badly enough that they act irrationally and emotionally instead of with empathy, logic, understanding, clarity, humanity...this list can go on and on. They'll still be jealous at the end of the day. 💅

Now....this other category of haters is the one that we do tend to see a lot of on social media. Let me preface by saying there's no such thing as "normal" in this world. We're all humans existing on a spectrum of existing/surviving/thriving...and whatever coping methods we've learned along the way to do that. So this group aren't well-adjusted individuals (again, who among us really is?). They seek out people they perceive as weaker so they can feel better about themselves (does this particular post of mine qualify???🤔). They have figured out different cues that they try to exploit in others so that they can feel smarter, stronger, in charge, more powerful, in control....these people target others in the fandom by going after the members or they target the members because, again, they aren't healthy humans. Therapy would help them. Yeah, I said it.

And this last group....the use of homophobic or other derogatory language....they're either part of the power-control group...or they're straight up homophobes or with internalized misogyny. They've identified someone as a "target" and have labeled them as "other" or "weaker" (mind you how well JM can kick our butts) therefore worthy of their scorn and hate and negativity. They've dehumanized a whole human! It doesn't matter to them what the other person feels or thinks or if their assumptions about that person are even correct. They don't care. Again, report and block these people. They don't just need therapy, they need intensive deprogramming and exposure and love and support to come out of the well of negativity they're currently drowning in.
