I had a free afternoon today !!! AND !! i watch the first 2 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies !! SO the first one was i think okay, i hated every single character except for Franklin (i THINK that’s his name, i have a really bad memory) and I thought he was going to be a survivor with his sister, specially cause of the intro and how much it focused on him — VERY disappointed he wasn’t — speaking of his sister WOW she annoyed sm sksksks specially the ending with the constant screaming !! (Ig it is a 70s movie and you know how well they write women but still !! My ears were ringing) BUT !!! HOLY SHIT IS LEATHERFACE FAST SKSKSKKSS what the heck, hes got the zoomies i was genuinely shocked when he grabbed the red shorts girl — i wanna say Pam — in less than a second, i enjoyed but i think maybe the reboot will be better (just so the characters are more fleshed out, cause they started dying too fast)

NOW — THE SEQUEL — ALRIGHT i was so confused the entire time sksksksk but in a good way (like ive never done drugs but thats what i imagine being high feels like) I did really enjoy it but WERE THEY BRINGING PPL BACK FROM THE DEAD ??? WAS THAT HIS BROTHER THAT GOT RUN OVER BY A TRUCK ????? HOW ???? Stretch was fun and had more personality (to say she had one at least) and she was a little smarter but yeah definitely some Gale Weathers shit like girlie is this story really worth it ???? I did enjoy her trying to get through Leatherface (who’s named Bubba ??? 🥺🥺🥺🥺) and him actually wanting to help her, in his weird little way 🥺 OH THE COP ???? Words most useless cop in a horror movie I’ve seen since Dewey in scream 1 (sorry baby but all he did was get stabbed in the back 😩) over all pretty good fever dream of a movie !!

Yep! The corpse is Nubbins aka the brother that got ran over! Which is Chop Top's (Guy with the plates) twin brother. That's why he's constantly carrying him around. I don't think anyone was brought to life they're just mentally deranged and think they're alive when they're not but...I got questions about Grandpa...Like, out of everything he unnerved me the most when his face came into view all I could think of was NO! ANYTHING BUT GRANDPA!! 😨😭😱

I told u it's like a horror comedy for sure ☠️ Them putting the hammer in grandpas old decrepit hand just for him to hit Bubba instead ☠️☠️☠️ And all I could think of when Stretch and Chop Top were biting, slapping each other is "Oh no, the girls are fighting-"

First one isn't my fav either it was scary for the time but the entire cast, especially Sally and Franklin HATED each other behind the scenes. Constant arguing, in Texas heat with no AC and Leatherface actually ended up cutting Sally's finger for real bc they were so irritated with the blood pump not working so her screaming might be for real bc if I was tied up and these low budget movie producers and director cut my finger for real I'd think WTF 😬

Definitely watch the remakes they are grittier and more gorey but I liked the cast more. I would watch the prequel first (The beginning made in 2006) and then the remake (2003)

How the Sawyers would react to snow.⛄

I just got this idea, because it snows currently where I live.😄

Bubba:

Wow, what is this???😲 To say that Bubba would be surprised would be an understatement.

He can´t believe his eyes, when he looks out of the window after getting up in the morning and notices that suddenly everything turned white.

After the first shock, he will get pretty excited, because he always wanted to see snow.

He only knows it from movies, but he always thought that it´s really beautiful, so of course he´s more than happy that he´s finally able to see it for real (especially because Drayon always told him that this would never happen, that there would never be snow in Newt).

Will definitely go outside to take a closer look at it.

After looking at the snow extensively, the next thing he will do, is to hesitantly touch it, because he´s really curious what it feels like.🤔

Most likely he will be a bit startled, because he didn´t expected it to be so cold.😨🥶

Won´t mind it all too much though. No, he´s just happy that he finally has snow.😊

He will definitely try to build a snowman⛄ and he would be overjoyed if another family member decides to join him in this activity, because it´s a nice way to spend time together and Bubba always loves to spend time with his family.🥰

He would most likely be a bit disappointed once the snow starts to melt, especially when his snowman is melting.😟

Also now that he knows that snow in Newt is actually possible, he will even more hope for it than he did before, during the winter months.

Nubbins:

He would be just as surprised as Bubba. Maybe even more so, because unlike Bubba who was always wishing for snow and always had the hope that this would happen one day, Nubbins never really thought about it.

For him it was always something that´s just not going to happen where he lives - so why should he waste thoughts on it?🤷‍♀️

When it actually starts to snow in Newt, my dear husband can´t believe his eyes. Is he dreaming, or does this really happen?🤔

The first thing he would do is to grab his camera, to take some pictures of this phenomenon.📸

Would definitely be the first who volunteers himself for helping Bubba with his snowman.⛄😃

In fact, building things out of snow would be one of his favorite things to do during this kind of weather. He would build snowmen, snow forts, maybe even a snow skeleton.💀

Will spend just as much time outside as he always does. Why should he stay inside, just because it´s cold? All you need are some warm clothes and everything is fine.

But I have to say, it´s not a good idea to accompany him outside, because he will take every opportunity to start a snowball fight.🙄

Even though he really likes the snow, he would get pretty annoyed by it, if it keeps him from practicing his hobbies.

If he can´t go grave robbing because the ground is frozen and therefore he´s unable to open up the graves, my darling would be very disappointed.😟

In this case, he would immediately wish for the snow to disappear.🙁

Chop Top:

Snow? Here? Well, that´s groovy. Of course, Chop would also be surprised, because he had never expected this, but unlike Bubba and Nubbins, he wouldn´t care all too much about it.

You should know, he isn´t really an outdoor fan. No, he prefers to stay inside and listen to music, so this is exactly what he´s going to do now too.

Are there any good songs about snow?🤔 If so, he will definitely listen to them now.🎶

Maybe he will even write a song about it himself.

He wouldn´t say “no” if Bubba wants him to join in building a snowman and he would also have a little snowball fight with Nubbins, but afterwards he would immediately go back inside, back to his room and the radio.📻

It´s just too cold for his liking, Chop really prefers warmer temperatures.

But as long as he can spend most of the time inside and as long as the weather doesn´t keep him from his weekly visit at the record store, he don´t mind it all too much.

Drayton:

What the hell??? I think it isn´t surprising that Drayton wouldn´t be happy about this new situation.

It´s not a secret that he tends to complain about almost everything and the snow is no exception.

It´s too cold, too wet, you have to be careful not to slip when you´re walking around outside.... The list goes on and on.🙄

Also, because the roads are slippery, he have to be careful on his way to work, which means that most likely he have to leave the house earlier in the morning, which would annoy him pretty much.😒

Therefore I think it´s safe to say, that he would absolutely hate it and when it´s up to him, the snow can´t disappear fast enough.

Grandpa:

Well, it´s very unlikely that he would even notice the snow.

He never really knows what´s going on around him and he never leaves the house, unless another member of the family takes him for a walk, so he´s not really affected by it anyways.🤷‍♀️

Maybe he would notice that it´s colder than usual (it´s hard to tell, cause sadly he´s not able to point it out if this is the case😟).

Of course the family (especially Bubba) would make sure to keep him warm, by giving him extra blankets and making sure that his room doesn´t get too cold.

And Me:

What can I say? I highly dislike snow.😒

I like to look at it (you know, through the window while being in a warm house), but when I have to go outside, I really hate it.

It´s simply too cold and just like Drayton, I also don´t like the fact that you have to be careful while walking around outside.

And of course, I´m not very happy about the fact that my dear husband takes every chance he gets to throw snowballs at me.😒

So I think I have to agree with Drayton on that matter: The sooner the snow disappears, the better.

when i was like.. idk 6 or 7 or s/t?? a family friend gave me these cassette tapes of ~horror stories~ for kids, narrated by various british celebrities 😧

i Absolutely Fucking Adored them (as u can probs tell from me still owning it 😭) altho at the time i wasn’t rly aware who any of the ppl, except maybe eamonn holmes, were.. but as i’ve got older it’s been cool 2 recognise who some of them are, especially since like, 3 are from doctor who 😅

i listened 2 these tapes so much that i can still p much remember all the stories, and it’d be cool 2 listen 2 them again sometime (i wonder if they’re on the internet anywhere?? 🤔) bcos it’s been Years since i last listened 2 them, but what made me think of them now is the colin baker narrated story suddenly popped into my head 😨

it’s about this class going on a school trip to the coliseum i think?? and the main character is a girl who’s being like, bullied and teased by a guy in her class, and at one point in the trip she falls asleep and has a dream abt them being gladiators fighting to the death in the arena, which ends w/ her impaling him w/ a trident, and him screaming.. but then she wakes up and the screaming continues, and she finds he’s fallen off a ledge and got impaled on some railing.. and i was like huh.. that’s p fucked up 😳
