That’s what he always said when asked about it.
(It's not his fault you can read that sentence in two different ways.)

The 'Jim Kirk Sleeps With All His First Officers And Its Fine Actually' story is complete!!!
I have a literal timeline for this fic, and I still think I've messed it up somehow, but what does it matter? blorbo fucks, that is what is important. anyway this is sort of the other la'an/kirk fic I wanted to write post 2x03 and 2x09, and I did so by picking up the hint in 1x10 that in the other timeline where Pike doesn't resign, La'an goes to be XO of the Farragut under Captain Kirk. In this, she still does, but only because Kirk becomes Acting Captain about 9 months after becoming XO, and poaches her.
anyway I still have too many star trek feelings, and now I need to go work on the subspace rhapsody fic. enjoy!!!

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Subspace Rhapsody REVIEW
youtube
My Review of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2. Episode 9: "Subspace Rhapsody." " An accident with an experimental quantum probability field causes everyone on the U.S.S. Enterprise to break uncontrollably into song, but the real danger is that the field is expanding and beginning to impact other ships—allies and enemies alike."
