pairing: wednesday addams x fem!werewolf!reader
warnings: smut, lesbian sex, slight petplay, deragadation, topping from the bottom, strapon referred to as cock, wednesday is STILL a sadist, all characters are aged-up
summary: the control wednesday has over you is frustrating. you're put back in your place the second you try to rebel
word count: 2.5k
“So yeah, since the Furs are gonna be the ones hosting the party, every wolf gets to bring a plus one. There’d be enough of us as it is, we should keep it low. The last time they held a gathering, it ended up... badly,” Enid refrains from going into details, which most likely involved a lot of destroyed furniture and saliva, clearing her throat as she slurps on her orange juice, leaning forward in her seat to gauge your reaction, “It’s free alcohol though! Courtesy of the Scales, so we have to let them in, too.”
Wednesday is sitting next to you, her hands clasped together on her knees, the plate in front of her already clean by the end of the lunch break. Her face is unreadable – but you grin, the thought of having drinks in a nice company of fellow werewolves providing a surge of enthusiasm to finish the school day.
“Sure– “
“I’m afraid we wont be able to join you, Enid. (Y/n) and I have business for tonight.”
The toothpick you clench in your mouth almost snaps in half.
Enid raises an eyebrow, looking between the two of you, but nods, seeming to take Wednesday’s words as final. It vexes you even further.
The ravenette doesn’t let you say another word. She dabs at her lips with a tissue, caringly grabs both of your trays and walks off. The werewolf’s sky-blue eyes meet yours – she looks like she wants to say something, but the irk in your gaze serves as a good enough warning, and she keeps her mouth shut.
A sigh mixed with an exasperated groan leaves your mouth, and you get up to follow your girlfriend, now staring holes into the back of her head instead.
Recess is over, and with it goes your faux relaxed attitude – you sit with your arms crossed, your knee jumping in an annoyed tick as you stare unblinking at your biology book, almost burning through the paper with your glare. Ajax, who’s unfortunate enough to have to share a desk with you, cowers at the angry aura you induce, the snakes of his hair peeking from under his beanie cautiously.
When your last period ends, you pack your bag hastily and throw it over your shoulder before all but storming out of the class. As you walk through the corridor, you notice Xavier out of the corner of your eye, the brunet artist falling in step with you. When he absentmindedly asks if you’re coming to the party tonight, it takes you all of your willpower not to punch him in the jaw.
The door is slammed behind you as you enter your dorm, your nostrils flaring.
You’re mad. And now that the party is totally out of the question, you need a different way to let out steam.
You don’t waste your time undressing yourself, opting to change for something easy to dispose of and claw into, before you reach for the nightstand, opening the bottom drawer.
The toy inside holds a lot of rather pleasant memories – of Wednesday bending you over the balcony railing, of her driving her hips into you as you all but begged her to fuck you right on the floor of your dorm.
Well. Werewolf heats are known for their feverous intensity. Howling isn’t the only reason one should wear muffled headphones with wolves around.
You grab the silicone toy, quickly tightening the straps around your waist, which surprisingly comes rather natural and makes you wonder why the hell you haven’t thought of doing this before, then tug on a pair of grey sweatpants over the strap-on, glancing at the clock – you still have a few minutes before Wednesday comes back.
You give yourself a once-over in the mirror. The shirt’s neckline is hanging just above your breasts, exposing your collarbones, your hair is disheveled with all the exasperated running your fingers through it you’ve been doing, and the outline of the silicone cock is pretty much visible through your pants. Exactly what you were going for.
The faint sound of footsteps reaches your sensitive ears, and it’s a pattern you recognize easily by now – you step away from the mirror to sit back on the bed just in time with the door creaking open.
“Business?” You mutter instead of a greeting. “I didn’t know we had plans.”
Wednesday freezes in the doorway, eyeing you. Her gaze drops to your pants, and a small, barely noticeable smirk makes its way to her pretty plump lips before its gone like it was a mirage.
“Why, don’t you just sound so eager to spend time with your significant other,” the ravenette deadpans sarcastically, walking over to her desk to abandon her backpack there, her lithe fingers working to undo the buttons of her uniform blazer – slowly, deliberately, the same way she drags her words out as she speaks, completely unbothered, “Would you really rather prefer a... frat party with a bunch of uncivilized mutts?”
She turns to look at you, misty eyes shining with a challenging glint.
“Addictions run in the family. Along with my last name I happen to bear a habit of drinking my stress away,” the mattress creaks in protest as you get up, step closer to Wednesday so that you’re towering over her smaller frame, “That, and valuing my freedom and independency.”
Wednesday doesn’t look intimidated in the least. She looks up at you, her eyebrows raised slightly, “But I can’t really help it. You’ve always been like this – so pliant and submissive,” the girl takes her blazer off, draping it over the back of her chair, never breaking eye contact with you, “It’s just so... entertaining to order you around sometimes, knowing you’d follow every single one of my commands.”
You grit your teeth at her words, partially from irritation, partially because they’re true – Wednesday has had you wrapped around her finger from the first day you met her, and it was a given you’d be so smitten to submit to her every whim. The ravenette’s influence on you is omnipotent.
And now, you’re not sure where it’s coming from, but there’s hot, rebellious fire burning in your chest, and the young woman in front of you is the spark responsible.
“I’m not a dog.”
“Oh? Is my perception wrong, then?”
Wednesday steps closer, her chin raised slightly, and before you know it you’re backing down to your shared bed, the backs of your knees hitting the wooden frame.
“Am I wrong? You’re not my pet, then?” She asks again, “Can you prove it? Can you make me shut up and take it?”
Suddenly you remember what your original plan was supposed to be. You mentally facepalm yourself – Wednesday’s been in the room for less than five minutes, yet you already feel the remains of your pride and resolve crumbling apart and proving her right.
Frustrated, your grasp at her hips, your talons coming out at your exasperation, tearing into her skirt, and turn the small girl around, pressing your mouth to hers hotly.
In a few moments you’re a mess of tangled limbs on the bed, Wednesday’s hands sliding towards the waistband of your pants to slide them down, the cool silicone of the toy pressing against her clothed cunt.
You pull back slightly, hovering over her, your claws catching at the lace of her panties, and it takes you a minute to tear them away – your hands are practically shaking with anger and anticipation. You don’t bother with the skirt, flipping it away for easy access, and Wednesday parts her thighs gently, your gaze subconsciously trailing down to the supple pale skin of her lower body.
Jesus, you want to bruise it so badly.
But no. Not now.
Focus. Focus.
Your hands grab ahold of the plushy flesh, fingers digging in as you part her legs even further, and Wednesday lets out a small sound at the aggressiveness. You’d grin at the small victory of yours, but it’s not really worthy yet – her expression is still unfazed, and you know you’ll have to try harder than that.
Or maybe not, you think as you suppress a chuckle at how positively drenched Wednesday is – of course, you could smell it before you could see the pretty wetness covering the inside of her thighs, and you’re damn sure she knows it, too, judging by the way her jaw tightens before she speaks.
“Do not gloat, dog. That is not your doing.”
Okay, that. That actually makes an angry vein pop on your forehead, the thought of someone else getting Wednesday hot and bothered and gorgeously dripping like this is akin to bothering a hungry animal during its meal.
You align yourself with the beautifully dripping cunt of the small ravenette, pressing your palms into her thighs to keep her still – fuck it, you have to bruise her – and push the tip against the feverish skin, sinking in slowly. You watch her walls wrap around the toy deliciously, the sight almost making you forget the reason for your fury, and an involuntary sigh escapes your mouth as you’re halfway to being sheathed inside Wednesday – the girl herself is silent, except for the wet sound of her pretty pussy taking your fake cock in. You look up to see her watching you with half-lidded eyes. She looks bored.
Her smirk is almost as taunting as her words.
“Is that all you’ve got?”
An irritated huff escapes your nose, fingers digging deeper into her, and in a single sharp thrust you bottom out, your legs pressing flush against the back of her hips.
Wednesday sighs, finally, eyes fluttering shut as all the air is pushed out of her lungs. You wrap your hands around the bottom of her thighs to pull her in as close as possible, and this time you actually grin as the ravenette has to bite back another choked noise, hanging her head back on the pillow and taking a deep inhale.
Then she opens her eyes, meeting yours again. Irritation paints her face at your smug expression.
“Are you getting cocky now, (Y/n)? It was but a mediocre start,” she tuts. “I thought you were going to show me how good you can make me take it. How strong you are.”
Her manicured hand caresses up your bicep, scratching idly.
“Alas, the only thing that’s giving me pleasure right now is telling you you’re not good enough.”
All the thoughts of being gentle and sweet with Wednesday are slapped out of your mind as soon as her words register in your already pussy-drunk brain. With a nearly animalistic snarl you pull out so that the head is barely visible before driving back in, the silicone sinking between her lips, disappearing in a red-hot embrace as you immediately fall into a swift rhythm. Your abdominal muscles contract violently, screaming at you that the pace is too much. Too fast. Too hard.
But you don’t care. You want Wednesday to scream those things.
The ravenette stretches one of her long shapely legs to rest it on your shoulder, the angle pulling you deeper into her with each thrust. You grunt, turn your face to nibble at her ankle through the stocking, making Wednesday shudder.
“You look... angry.” She observes, her words a bit broken, breath stolen by your merciless pounding into her. “Are you angry with me, puppy?”
You growl in response. Her palms reach to cup your face, a condescending smile on her lips.
“For teasing you? Oh, don’t be angry. It is simply the natural way of things. Whatever you do, you will always belong underneath me. Taking me like a good girl. Pretty puppy always wants to be my good girl, doesn’t she?”
You whine, and Wednesday chuckles, satisfied that her words are causing the effect she desired – you melt despite the fact that you’re the one fucking her into the bed, ruining the mattress with how much of her slick is dripping down between your bodies.
“You’re so lucky that I’m letting you do this,” her voice is breathy, and your attention snaps to the way is sounds rather than the words she speaks, “Look at me and say it— Don’t you dare scowl at me.”
Wednesday scolds your bared canines and your furrowed eyebrows, the hold of her palms turning rough on your chin.
“Say thank you. For my letting you be in my cunt right now.”
Her tone sends an array of shivers down your spine – you feel reminded of where your place is supposed to be. It takes some time for you to finally find your voice, your mouth slightly open as you still your hips for a moment, cock buried in Wednesday’s soft heat.
She watches you expectantly. You lean down to press your nose into her shoulder.
“Th... thank you...” You murmur into her neck shakily, hiding your face in embarrassment.
You’ve lost.
The ravenette hums, wraps her legs around you, a gesture of pity and generosity on her part – she knows how much you love it when she does that, the balls of her stocking-clad feet pressing into your back.
“You’re welcome, puppy. Now get back to work.”
Your pace turns slow, meaningful, and Wednesday seems content with the change, her back arching at a particularly strong and deep thrust of your hips, pretty mouth falling open with a breathy sigh, “Oh, mia grande forte cucciola… Trying so hard to make me feel good…”
Her walls flutter around the shaft, her heavy breathing mixing with the obscene sounds of your skin slapping hers.
“Should I cum on you? Should I let you have it just this once?”
At that you perk up, and if you were wolfed out at that moment, you’re pretty sure your tail would be wagging like crazy as you whine a few pathetic ‘please, please’ into her neck.
“I will. I will, amore. But not because of you fucking me so good… Just because I pity you.”
Wednesday brings you closer to her, your chest flush against hers as she tilts her head back, her pussy turning impossibly tight around your cock, a choked moan leaving her burgundy lips, right into your ear, making goosebumps trickle up your neck. You fuck her through her orgasm obediently, wishing you could feel her throbbing around you.
When Wednesday’s hold on you relaxes, your jaw goes slack around her shoulder, her ruined uniform the last thing on your mind as you try to catch your breath.
She sighs with content, pressing a kiss to your cheekbone.
“Good dog.”
There’s no strength left in you to fight the title, so you accept your defeat, leaning most of your body weight onto the small girl and muttering something unintelligible.
“Pull out.” She orders, and you comply, watching as her slick drips down the toy, before the ravenette pushes you back onto the bed, her thighs bracketing your hips. Her warmth against you makes you shudder.
“Now,” her hands reach for the straps, undoing them with masterful precision, “I’m going to reclaim what’s mine.”
The toy is tugged down your legs, and Wednesday licks her lips.
“I hope the ache you’ll feel with every step you take tomorrow reminds you of who you belong to, puppy.”

Wednesday: Enid.
Enid: hmm? Oh... Hi Wends...
Wednesday: Enid there is something I find myself needing to confess to you.
Enid: whoa... It must be serious, you look more sullen that usual.
Wednesday: (Sighing) Yes... I will try and say this in its most simplest of terms. I wish for there to be no misunderstandings between us.
Enid: (worriedly) you're kinda scaring me now Wends... Is it something I have done ?
Wednesday: No... Yes but not in the way you think.
Enid: Then what Wednesday?
Wednesday: I see you with me in the way a murderer sees prison.
Enid: (Confusedly) um okay?
Wednesday: For life, without chance of parole.
Enid: (Giggling) Wends they give the death sentence out for murders sometimes!
Wednesday: (Eyes glittering excitedly) One could be so lucky.
Enid: (Beaming happily) Well I have seen us be by each others side forever too!
Wednesday: I have failed again, father will be aghast.
Enid: Wait what ?
Wednesday: What do I have to do short of ripping my own heart out and giving it to you? How many pounds of flesh must I give for you to understand my intentions, how much more shamefully must I grovel before you, Goddess of the Sun, before you accept my offerings? How many more ballads must I craft in your name, how many more hours pouring over words laced with affection for you must I scribe.
Enid: (Completely Confused) Wha...?
Wednesday: I claimed and proudly professed I would never fall in love and yet I find myself rejecting such a facet made in vain, you are vigorously, variegated, vociferous and it vexed me to no foreseeable end.
Enid:
Wednesday: People lace their heart and organs with poisons and vices everyday. I believed to be above such things, but you Enid, you are mine. The vice and poison of my black heart.
Enid: (Tearfully) What are you trying to say Wednesday?
Wednesday: I'm in love with a simpleton.
Enid: (Smiling through her tears) You love me?
Wednesday: (Exasperated) YES!
Enid: (Taking one of Wednesday's hands) Then you should of just said so silly!
Wednesday: (glaring) I will actually murd--
Enid: (tapping Wednesday's nose with a finger) Bop! No you won't!
Wednesday: (resisting the urge to swoon but scowling) I loathe what you've done to me.
Enid: (Winking) Love you too babycakes.

Woe out the Storm (6) - Goo Goo Muck
Wednesday Addams x female Reader
Summary: It took some time, but eventually you came to realize only Wednesday Addams could look at the raging storm of chaos and destruction and make a home out of it. Only she could listen to the cacophony of the roaring thunder and hear a melody.
Story warnings: Wednesday Addams, violence, slow burn
Story Masterlist / First part / Previous part / Next part
Word count: 6.6k
-Yeah, I’ll get you baby, with a little luck, ‘cause I’m a teenage tiger and a Goo Goo Muck-
This was not going to end well.
There was no way this was going to end well. What was Wednesday thinking?
So, you did what any reasonable raiju with your skills would do. You took out your, formerly Wednesday's, knife. "Where did you even get that board?" you asked as you watched Wednesday pin rather gruesome photos and other papers to it. Tierra Rica played for what felt like the third time. That was something you learned about Wednesday. She preferred repetition, whether it was her schedule, strict writing time, or playing the same song at least several times.
She looked back and just slightly raised an eyebrow, as if silently asking you if you were seriously asking her that. Yeah, that was probably an unnecessary question now that you thought about it. It was also kind of worrying that you were wondering how she got that board instead of all those photos... Perhaps you were too used to Wednesday Addams being Wednesday Addams.
Enid on the other hand... You weren't entirely sure she could stomach what was in the photos. Or that she was in the mood to even try to understand the need for this approach.
Speaking of said werewolf, she just entered your room. Ever since Ajax stood her up her entire demeanor lost some of her bouncy energy and it took a lot of pleading from her to stop you and Wednesday from taking revenge on the gorgon. She was so down you didn't even mention Wednesday agreeing to go to the Rave'N with you.
"Hey, Y/N, Wednesday," she stopped for a moment, taking in the sight of you and Wednesday. Seeing Wednesday with the board and papers wasn't much of a surprise. Neither was seeing you hunched forward and sitting on your chair. No, it was the fact that your chair was on Wednesday's part of the room, the fact that you were sitting a few feet behind Wednesday, watching whatever she was pinning to the board. And there was a knife in your hand, coincidentally, it was the knife Wednesday threw at you. Not that Enid knew that part, but she did know the knife belonged to Wednesday. So, she was probably very confused, or she was officially deciding that something was going on between you and Wednesday.
You could see cogs turning in Enid's head. "Am I interrupting you?" she asked, now carefully observing Wednesday for any reaction that might seem out of the ordinary.
"No," but Wednesday was so focused on her task you doubted she even noticed Enid's reaction. Frankly, you thought Wednesday's laser focus was admirable.
Admirable. Not adorable.
She'd probably actually smother you in your sleep if you ever used that word to describe her.
"Wednesday is just pinning photos of the monster's victims so she can get inside its head," you said causing Enid's jaw to drop slightly.
Enid covered her mouth in shock. "The actual photos?" she gulped, her claws coming out instinctively.
She was taking it even worse than you thought she would, so you jumped to your feet and rushed toward her. On foot, since lightning would likely startle her.
The damage was already done. "I don't see how any other photos would help," Wednesday, still focused on her task, either ignored or didn't notice the evident panic in Enid's voice.
Your eyes widened when you saw Enid falling to the side and in a lightning-enhanced jump, you managed to reach her and catch her before she could fall to the floor. "Wednesday," you sighed, exasperated by her lack of consideration.
For the first time since she began pinning the files and photos, Wednesday took her eyes off the evidence for more than three seconds and glanced at you and Enid in your arms. Her eyes followed you as you lifted the werewolf up and carried her to her bed. "Perhaps you could zap her awake?"
You nearly dropped Enid as you stumbled a bit at the suggestion. You opened your mouth several times, honestly not even sure how to respond to that idea. You gently lowered Enid onto her bed and turned back to Wednesday. "No?" you eventually settled for an incredulous response as you just looked Wednesday in the eyes.
Wednesday kept staring into your eyes, refusing to be the first one to look away, or even blink. And you weren't backing down either, even if you did have to blink. "Pity. Thing, fetch the smelling salts," she ordered, and the hand was on his way to wherever Wednesday kept those. Why did she even have those readily available?
You looked away, but only so you could follow Thing with your eyes. He was clutching the smelling salts in question between his middle and ring finger and his palm while running toward you on the remaining three fingers. You took a few steps forward and leaned down, letting him climb onto your palm. With a thankful smile on your face, you took the smelling salts and proceeded to wake Enid up with them.
It took a bit, but she regained consciousness and looked around, still a bit disoriented. "Y/N?" she sounded a bit confused.
"Welcome back," you grinned and stepped back as you placed Thing on your shoulder and the smelling salts in your pocket.
"I had this nightmare. Something about Wednesday bringing photos of the monster's victims to our room," she groaned and rubbed her eyes.
"Uh," you glanced back at Wednesday, her back was turned to you, but you could swear you noticed a bit of extra stiffness in her posture. If that was even possible.
"What?" Enid demanded, looking at you and then following your line of sight. "It wasn't a dream. Yeah. Sure. That might as well happen," Enid nodded as she sat up. She stood up and went right for the cause of the newest room decorations. "You know, when I suggested giving your part of the room a make-over, I did not have Ted Bundy's Pinterest in mind."
Wednesday turned around to look at her. "Still not as creepy as your stuffed unicorn collection," she turned back to the board once again.
"Is this why she and Thing snuck out last night?" Enid asked you when you walked over to her, ready to catch her if needed.
"Yup. To the county morgue actually," you caught her up to speed with Wednesday's recent adventure to the best of your abilities.
Enid's face showed clear disgust at the mere thought of Wednesday's activities. "Okay, there are so many levels of ew in this whole situation I don't even know where to begin."
"I need to get inside its head. Discover any patterns or anomalies," Wednesday turned toward you and Enid. "I've already made a big discovery," she began taking the photos off the board. "Turns out, all of the monster's victims have had body parts surgically removed," she began handing the photos to you. "The first one a kidney, the second a finger,"
Enid paled as she saw the photos up close. "Wednesday, I don't... really feel..." she was going to pass out again any moment now.
"Third a gallblader," Wednesday, however, went back to the board for the final photo. "And the bearded man from the meeting house, two toes," she placed the last photo on top of the other three in your hands and looked at both you and Enid. "Do you understand what this means? These murders aren't mindless," she went back to the board. "He's collecting trophies like a seasoned serial killer. It's quite impressive, actually."
And Enid passed out.
You managed to catch her once again and sighed. Wednesday turned around, looking at Enid, and clearly not impressed this happened again. Thing, who in the meantime climbed back onto the board just shrugged when she glanced back at him. You offered the photos back to Wednesday and lifted Enid up once again. "Hold that thought for a minute," you said and carried Enid back to her bed. Luckily you didn't put the smelling salts back so waking Enid up wasn't too difficult.
"I'm just going to ignore you two," she resigned to the current circumstances. At least for now. "I'll go to sleep and by the time I wake up that won't be here."
You couldn't help but grin at that as you tucked her in and made sure she was comfortable. You moved back from the bed to see Wednesday watching you like a hawk, she was probably impatient since you did take more than a minute to get back to her. "So," instead of sitting back down on the chair behind Wednesday you stopped right in front of Wednesday. A more logical part of your brain told you you were too close, that you were in her personal space, but you couldn't back down, not unless you managed to catch any hints of Wednesday being uncomfortable with the closeness. Well, you could back away, but that might make Wednesday think you were uncomfortable with her instead. Things were so complicated with this girl… "Body parts were surgically removed, right?"
She nodded, her eyes never looking away from your own.
"That monster looked too, I dunno, clumsy, to remove anything surgically," you muttered, looking away from her and looking at the photos pinned to the board over her shoulder. From the corner of your eye, you noticed Wednesday turning around on the spot.
"The monster's hands didn't look like they could hold a saw, or make cuts as precise as these," Wednesday pointed out, her focus once again shifting to the case.
"A lot of outcasts can change shape in some way. Maybe it's a human," you guessed, the body parts that were removed... well, you weren't exactly knowledgeable about all that, but you figured at least some of them required a good understanding of human anatomy.
"That would explain why it wasn't caught," Wednesday nodded, glancing back at you. "Do you know any outcast group that can look like that?"
You thought about it. You've been thinking about it ever since you saw that monster. It definitely wasn't a werewolf or a raiju, but other than that you were stuck. "I really don't have any idea. It's not a werewolf, it's not a raiju, it's some beast, but that's as far as my knowledge goes," which really didn't help either of you. "Do you think it works alone?"
That got Wednesday thinking. "I haven't considered that possibility," she admitted and glanced at Enid. "I should move this somewhere else?"
Your heart skipped a beat at that. She really did care, somewhere deep down. "I'd be really thankful if you did. So would Enid. I'd also rather not carry her that often," you admitted with a sheepish grin on your face. "You can keep it in my shed?" you offered.
Wednesday shook her head slightly. "Too many electric devices. I'll find another place for it," she declined your offer. She did have an aversion to technology, and you loved tinkering with it, the more reliant on electricity it was, the better. Still, you understood why she didn't want to spend time there. She didn't even consider your club because of that, even if it would mean not having to deal with anyone else. Well, Eugene’s club was a good fit as well for her.
You didn't say you could clear some of the shed out if she couldn't find any other place for her board. "Got it," you muttered, finally stepping away from her.
~X~
Wednesday's day was not going as planned. In fact, it was going wrong in every way possible. The scratches on Xavier's neck made her suspicious, so she followed him. That part was fine. Discovering that his art depicted the monster was great. Now she had a suspect in her investigation, and she was satisfied with the progress she made.
She supposed she used up all her luck for the day. The next thing she knew, she was asking Xavier to the dance as an act of self-preservation. Usually, she would feel good about getting up close and personal with a potential serial killer, but there was an unpleasant feeling of unease that followed. She'd usually enjoy it, but somehow that unease being connected to you made it less enjoyable. She was yet to tell you to find someone else to go to the dance with. She wasn't entirely sure how to, either, because you looked ridiculously happy when she agreed to accompany you to the dance.
It wasn’t that she had anything against ruining someone’s happiness, in fact she often enjoyed doing so, but doing it to you didn’t feel exciting. She had no reason to do it to you.
So, that's why she was standing right behind the tape dividing her and Enid's part of the room. Perhaps Enid, due to knowing you much longer than Wednesday, could offer a way to tell you. That wasn't her usual blunt approach. Thing already made sure to talk her out of telling you like that.
"I am going to Rave'N with Xavier," she opened with that, but before she could continue and explain her issue Enid was on her feet and, in a way that was sickeningly filled with excitement, rushed toward Wednesday.
She even squealed. "Oh my God! Wednesday Addams is going to the Rave'N?! My whole world is tilted!" she was missing the point, unaware that the thing she was getting excited about was the cause of an issue Wednesday needed to solve.
"That's not-" Wednesday tried, she really did, but Enid was too excited to listen.
"You know what you need now?" Enid interrupted her.
This was not going how Wednesday wanted it to go. "A bullet to the head," might be a solution to the problem. Her own or Xavier's head, either way, the problem would be solved.
"A dress!" preposterous suggestion, though one that fit Enid perfectly.
"I already have one," she didn't need one. Not for a dance with Xavier.
"Not the one you came here in! That's a fashion emergency not even Y/N could resuscitate! Thing back me up!" Enid turned to Thing for support.
Thing, the traitor, agreed with a thumbs up. Though Wednesday had to admit Enid replacing lightning with your name felt fitting.
And then Thing pointed at the doors.
"What can't I resuscitate?" and just when Wednesday thought things could not get worse, you walked in. She didn't even notice the doors opening.
"Wednesday's dress! She needs a new one for Rave'N!" Enid moved on to you, luckily not saying anything about who Wednesday was going with.
The situation could still be salvaged and put under control. Even when you just grinned cheekily at Wednesday and went over to your part of the room.
"She's going with Xavier! I'm so excited!" Enid blurted out.
Telling you bluntly the way she intended right after she was forced to ask Xavier would have been better. Wednesday furrowed her brows, looking away from your frozen form. She noticed Thing flinching, likely due to the way you got the news.
"Xavier?" you finally repeated, the tone of your voice flat and without any clue for Wednesday to try and decipher how you felt.
"Yes!" Enid exclaimed as she clasped her hands together. "You're going with us as well! It'll be our first roomie shopping spree!"
Your eyes narrowed at that. "Not in the mood," you bit out, and even as emotionally unaware as Wednesday was, she could understand you were annoyed.
Especially when you went and closed the sliding doors that divided your part of the room from her own. You never did that. Not until today.
"What just happened?" Enid asked, her enthusiasm clearly disappearing. And then her eyes widened as if she realized something. "That can't be right though," she muttered as she looked from the closed doors to Wednesday then back to the doors.
"What?" Wednesday asked, feeling slightly irritated. Enid figured something out and Wednesday wasn't sure what.
Enid frowned for a moment. "No, it's not important right now. You need a new dress," she paused for a moment. "Y/N will be fine, just give her a bit of space."
Wednesday wasn't about to show weakness and argue with that. This was as bad as the day could get, right?
~X~
She should have known not to underestimate the bad luck that followed her.
Not only did Galpin refuse to share information with her, now she had to deal with Tyler looking dejected over her going with Xavier.
"I'm not sure why you're becoming upset," she really didn't understand. She understood why you were upset. She accepted your invitation and then asked Xavier to go with her. She broke the deal.
"That's kind of the problem. I mean, call me crazy, Wednesday, but you keep giving me these signals," his statement confused her.
She met Tyler, she asked him to take her to the station, she went to get her coffee at Weathervane a couple of times. She didn't understand what signals he was talking about. "It's not my fault I can't interpret your emotional Morse code."
"Then let me spell it out for you. I thought we liked each other. But then you pull something like this and I have no idea where I stand," he kept talking but she focused on those words. On not having any idea where he stood...
Wednesday frowned slightly. Was that how you felt? After she 'pulled something like asking Xavier to the dance'? Was that why you closed the doors, and needed some space? Because you didn't know where you stood with Wednesday?
If Tyler was being delusional about her 'signals' as he called them, she supposed she gave you some signals. Certainly, more than she gave to Tyler or Xavier. That talk about Sartre... the knife she allowed you to keep... the unpleasant feeling she had when you didn't even say anything to her about the situation with Xavier.
"You could at least clear that up," Tyler interrupted her thoughts, but she had more important issues to deal with. The case, Rowan's warning, all of that was more important than what Tyler or you felt. She needed to prioritize, and she'd do just that.
~X~
You guessed you could admit you were sulking and that you could and should have been at least a bit more mature about your reaction to Wednesday going to the Rave'N with Xavier. You were just a bit too proud to admit it out loud.
Maybe it was a raiju thing. Avoiding the problem until it would solve itself. Just like waiting for a storm to pass. Or maybe you just got that from your dad. Either option worked.
Your sliding doors opened, but you didn't turn around, you just kept lying in your bed. Enid was probably back from the shopping spree. The sound of the footsteps didn't match her, though, so you looked back and saw Wednesday.
"I'm not going with Xavier because I want to. It was an act of self-preservation," she said as you sat up.
All of this looked a lot like how you were a few nights ago. With her in your part of the room, you sitting on your bed, only this time there was a tension you despised. "I'm not even going to ask you how that happened," you probably should have. You should have asked what she meant by that, you didn't. Maybe if you did things would have been different.
"You're still upset," she stated, and you nearly laughed at that.
You scoffed, looking to the side. "Why couldn't you just tell me yourself? You are going with Xavier, sure, that's your choice, but at least have the guts to tell me," you didn't know if she liked Xavier, or if she really had no choice but to ask, but that wasn't the issue. If Wednesday didn't feel like going with you, she was free to not go, no questions asked. You just wanted to hear it from her instead of Enid.
"I-" Wednesday began but then stopped herself.
The pause, and the slight uncertainty in her voice made you look at her. Something in her eyes made you question everything, that hint of vulnerability, the hint of her not being comfortable that you were looking for when you stepped right in front of her. It was there now. You have never seen Wednesday's eyes showing this much, leaving so much of what she was feeling out in the open. And it made you feel unsure. The idea of Wednesday Addams actually, probably unknowingly, leaving her emotions open for you to see, was scary.
It wasn't like her.
Whatever she was going to say, she changed her mind. "Excuses don't matter," she turned around and went back to her part of the room.
You just let out a long, frustrated, sigh and fell back onto your bed. This just made things worse between the two of you.
~X~
Prioritizing the case instead of her feelings turned out to be the right move. She found the monster's cave thanks to Eugene, she found its claw, and she got Xavier's blood sample. She even managed to get out of going to the dance with him, though that was unintentional.
Everything was just fine. Even if she did look at your part of the room as she got ready to stake out the cave with Eugene. It was empty. You went somewhere. Likely to your shed. On her way to Rave'N Enid mentioned you liked to be there when you needed space.
Thing jumped on her shoulder, and she knew exactly what he wanted. "Not. One. Word," she warned, her voice dangerously low.
But he didn't listen. “Postpone staking out the cave, go to the dance!” he told her, much more firmly than he usually did.
And Wednesday didn’t understand why he was so adamant. "I already made plans with Eugene. Besides, what's the point of going to that stupid dance?" you wouldn't be there, even if you were you'd be there with another date. She didn't need to go there just to see that. She didn’t mind that you probably found another date, no, she absolutely did not mind.
But Thing was persistent. “Not alone! Go with Y/N!” he signed energetically.
"How am I supposed to do that?" you barely talked to her, she had no way of getting you to go with her, besides, she was out of time. The dance was about to start.
Thing's next statement made her cold, dead heart skip a beat.
"You told Y/N what? How could you do that to me?!" he smartly jumped off her shoulder as she went to grab her dress. He actually told you, well wrote you a note, to come and pick Wednesday up so the two of you could go to the Rave'N. She already messed up when she didn't tell you about going with Xavier right away, she didn't want to mess up again. She wanted to take you to see the cave, and she wanted to tell you about being Xavier being her suspect.
Thing snapped his fingers, getting her attention. And then she saw the dress from Uriah's Heap. The same dress she very likely would have gotten if she was still going to the dance with you, but at that time she didn’t think the two of you would be going to a dance.
~X~
You opened the doors to your room and stepped inside. "Thing, you really shouldn't write notes and pretend Wed-" your breath hitched as you took in a sight you doubted you'd ever forget. Wednesday was putting her hair up, already dressed in a black dress that fit her like it was made for her. You were completely aware that you were staring at her, and that your jaw dropped. In your defense she looked stunningly beautiful.
Finally, Wednesday glanced at you. The intensity in her gaze, combined with how she looked, nearly made your knees buckle. Damn… you might be in trouble.
"You," you tried to speak, even though your throat was suddenly as dry as a desert.
"Look ridiculous?" she suggested.
You chuckled at that, shaking your head. "No, you look like you, just more regal," you took a deep breath and exhaled loudly. "I guess this is what being struck by lightning feels like," you swore you saw Wednesday's mouth twitch into the briefest, subtlest smile you have ever seen.
"Will you," she paused, swallowing hard and looking anywhere but at you. "Would you- don't make me ask," she said, her voice softer than what you were used to.
You smiled, stepping closer to her. Now, with a few feet between you you took in her appearance once again. The way her hair framed her face, the make-up she had on, complete with that dark lipstick, and the dress. Damn, that dress... "Will you go to the dance with me?" you asked, and your heart skipped a beat when she nodded.
Wednesday swallowed hard, glancing down, for once avoiding eye contact. "I will," she said as Thing gave the two of you a thumbs up.
You nodded at that and hurried over to find anything that would match Wednesday. The rushed search resulted in an all-black combination. Suit pants and a button-up shirt. As you rolled up your sleeves you couldn't help but feel like something was missing. And then Thing brought exactly what you were missing. A light gray tie to disrupt the all-black combo. Considering the limited options and available time you figured it would do. And judging by Wednesday you were right.
She wasn't exactly staring when you put the tie on, but she didn't look like she disapproved either.
~X~
The moment you came down the stairs you saw Galpin there, for whatever reason he managed to come as someone's date. However, that date was nowhere to be found at the moment.
Tyler's mouth fell open at the sight of Wednesday. "Wednesday! You look beautiful!" he approached the two of you. "Look, I'm sorry about my reaction, but I'm here now and since you're not with Xavier, maybe you'd like to join me?"
The audacity of this guy. You felt a couple of sparks surrounding your clenched fist, but you chose to control yourself.
"I'm with Y/N," Wednesday immediately shut his idea down, and you felt your lightning settling down.
Tyler blushed, clearly embarrassed. "Shit, sorry. I just thought since you said you were going with Xavier you two came as friends. I'll, uh, I'll leave you two to it," he backed away the moment he said that.
Maybe he wasn't that bad after all... He just had a massive crush on Wednesday, and you really couldn't blame him for that.
"Wednesday? Y/N? What is going on?" just when you thought you could go inside Eugene came up to you two.
"Hey, Bee boss," you greeted him. He looked like he was going on a trip, with a backpack and full gear ready.
"Eugene," Wednesday seemed a bit uncomfortable all of a sudden and you had a nagging feeling she changed her mind at the very last moment tonight. "There's been a change of plans. We'll stake out the cave tomorrow night."
What?
"I understand. I'll go check out the woods alone," he looked a lot like you did when you heard Wednesday was going to the dance with Xavier. Dejected, disappointed...
"Don't go alone," Wednesday ordered firmly. "It's dangerous, we'll go together tomorrow," she didn't let him reply and turned around to leave.
You looked between her and Eugene and just went after her. "A cave? Just how much did I miss?" you asked.
"We found a cave in the woods. It's the monster's lair," she explained quickly.
And they were going to stake it out? Alone?! "I'm going with you two tomorrow," you decided, leaving no space for arguments. The look in her eyes showed you she appreciated that. Maybe she missed having you around? No, that definitely wasn't it. Your lightning was just useful at times.
Pop music played loudly as you stepped inside, to smoke and icy aesthetic and a statue of a Yeti behind the DJ. Climate crisis meets extinction event or whatever Thornhill said. Speaking of Thornhill, she approached the two of you right away.
"Wednesday Addams! And Y/N L/N! What a lovely surprise!" she greeted you.
You pretended to fix your sleeves, not really sure how to talk with the woman outside the classroom. And then you noticed Enid. With Lucas? "Would you look at that, Wednesday I think Enid is calling us!" if you were allowed you would have zapped away, but Weems would have your head if you pulled something like that.
Luckily, Enid noticed you as well, and the three of you met by the drinks.
"Oh my God! I'm so happy you two are here together! And I love the look!" Enid grinned excitedly, she was definitely going to tease you about this sooner or later. Knowing her it would probably be the moment you went back to the dorm. "I don't know how it happened, but I'm glad things worked out."
Wednesday glanced at Lucas. "Interesting choice of a date," she pointed out.
"You can say that again," you agreed.
"It's not what it looks like. Lucas is trying to make his ex jealous and I'm trying to make Ajax jealous," Enid explained as Lucas approached you carefully, with his arms raised in surrender.
"Wednesday, Y/N, I come in peace," he said right away.
"Too bad. I brought my pocket mace. The medieval kind," Wednesday replied.
You raised your hands. "I promise I won't electrocute you this time."
Lucas nodded at that. "Thank you."
The curious look on Wednesday's face told you you should probably explain. "How about we step outside for a moment?" you suggested and luckily, she didn't mind that idea.
You took her to a slightly secluded spot with a bench you could sit on. "You've been hearing about me electrocuting people every now and then, right?"
She nodded. "I admit I am curious."
"It's not my proudest moment, but last year, on the Outreach day, Tyler, Lucas, and two other normies, the ones that follow Lucas around, attacked Xavier and destroyed his mural. I just got pissed and electrocuted them," you knew it wasn't right, you regretted not having more control over yourself. Fighting them on fair terms? That was fine. Electrocuting them wasn't...
"I didn't realize you and Xavier were close," Wednesday pointed out.
You shook your head. You were just classmates, he didn’t bother you and you didn’t bother him. You maybe had a handful of conversations that weren’t just greeting each other. That was all. "We really aren't. I just... I guess I can't stand back while someone is getting beaten up and bullied," it just didn't feel right to stand and watch that.
"You did what you felt was right. Besides, do you really think I'd judge you over something like that?" Wednesday asked, a slightly sinister smile forming on her lips.
You laughed at that. "No, I didn't. I just don't like talking about that. So, electrocuting past aside, may I have this dance?" you didn't offer her your hand, unsure if that was something she'd want, but you did stand up. And Wednesday stood up as well, nodding at you.
~X~
The music started and you watched for any change in Wednesday, but her expression remained the same, stoic and serious. However, she was looking at you with intensity you hadn't seen before. Not even when you came into the room before and saw her in the dress, ready to leave with you.
-Well, when the sun goes down and the moon comes up-
Much to your surprise Wednesday began shuffling a bit, mostly moving her shoulders and upper body.
-I turn into a teenage Goo Goo Muck-
Out of nowhere, she lifted her left arm up above her head and leaned sideways, before straightening her posture by bringing her right arm up. Before you could fully realize what was happening she dropped her arms, turned around, and walked away from you.
-Yeah, I cruise through the city and I roam the streets looking for something that is nice to eat, mmm-
She got into the rhythm, turned to her left so she was looking at you from the side, raising one arm at a time as her body moved in precise, though seemingly jerky, motions. She was lifting her head up, baring her neck, kicking her leg up, all the while maintaining eye contact with you. And then she stopped, turned to face you, and raised her arms to a shoulder level as she shuffled to the side, her head and arms going left and right to the rhythm of the beat.
-You better duck When I show up The Goo Goo Muck-
She bent down in an instant and you closed your eyes smirking when she tapped your shoulder with her finger. By the third time she tapped your shoulder you released the lightning, ignoring the way other students backed away from the two of you.
The intensity in Wednesday's gaze only increased when you, with sparks circling your body began getting in tune with her rhythm. As she began stepping away from you, you mirrored her actions, and as she moved to her left, so did you, effectively starting what could have been a deadly dance if it wasn't you and Wednesday. As Wednesday stopped you raised your arms up, bent your knees a bit, and brought them back down, releasing harmless lightning in Wednesday's direction.
-I'm the night headhunter looking for some head-
She moved her arms forward, and you couldn't tell if she was trying to bring the lightning closer to her or disperse it.
-With a way-out body underneath that head-
In movements that were only shaky in appearance, she brought her arms to her head, pretending to clutch it as lightning danced around her. She dropped her arms down, moving them from side to side as she looked up, her eyes just for a moment taking the lightning that surrounded her in.
And you, for the first time since you met Wednesday, found yourself truly mesmerized by her. Right there, with your lightning around her body, as she danced, you even dared to admit Enid was right. You may actually have a crush on Wednesday.
-Yeah, I'll get you, baby, with a little luck-
With your lightning still moving to her whim, she walked past you, baring the side of her neck when she was right next to you. You took that as a challenge, sliding after her, you glided across the floor, circling her and leaving a trail of lightning following the path of your left foot.
-'Cause I'm a teenage tiger and a Goo Goo Muck-
She shuffled her foot in a frankly adorable way, not for a moment bothered by the lightning that now rose up above and around the two of you. She made a motion as if drumming and with a snap of your fingers you offered two make-shift lightning sticks for her to hold. As Wednesday took hold of them you stepped in front of her, raising your open palms and creating two balls of lightning for her to drum against. And she did, for a few moments, she did exactly that before tossing the sticks aside, dispersing them in the wall of lightning that encased the two of you.
-You better duck When I show up The Goo Goo Muck-
She ducked right in front of you, and then got up, lifting up her dress and then abruptly slowing down, halting all movement but steady movement of her shoulders. You took a few steps back, gently moving to the music as you lifted your hands up and quickly clapped twice by the side of your head, letting sparks out with each clap. Then you went to Wednesday's side and offered a hand to her.
-Yeah, the city is a jungle and I'm a beast-
Just as Wednesday made a choice to reach forward you pulled your hand back, smirking as lightning formed claw-like shapes at the tips of your fingers. You slipped behind her and without touching her moved one of your hands close to her neck. She raised her head up, just for a brief second looking right into your eyes as she turned around.
-I'm a teenage tiger looking for a feast-
She made clawing-like motions and you stepped back, dropping down to one knee with your arms spread widely and all the lightning gathering around your palms.
-Yeah, I want the most but I'll take the least-
You were shaping the lightning around your hands into two red balls of lightning. Wednesday, surprisingly got into your personal space, stepping sideways between your spread arms and rolling her shoulders as she looked down at you. With a grin on your face you rose back up.
-'Cause I'm a Goo Goo Muck tiger and a teenage beast-
With a lot of concentration, you made the two balls of lightning collide, clashing them against one another and forming the shape of a black dahlia. While still standing behind Wednesday you went and offered the lightning-made flower to her.
-You better duck When I show up The Goo Goo Muck-
Wednesday reached for the flower, tore off the petals, and accepted the remains. You didn't comment on how the tips of her fingers rested on top of your palm as she slowly settled her hand over yours.
-The Goo Goo Muck-
She leaned back, the material of her dress barely brushing against you, but that alone told you a lot, and now you truly had to admit Enid was right.
~X~
Wednesday never thought she'd think feeling as overwhelmed as she was right now would feel like this. The tingle your lightning caused, the way it was clear you made sure it couldn't hurt her while still causing a satisfying sensation, the way you responded to her. The way she leaned back, brushing against you. All of it was almost too much. Yet she didn't move away from you.
"Thanks," you muttered, and she didn't understand what you were thanking her for, but somehow she leaned back a bit more, her fingers brushing against your hand.
And then she was no longer at the Rave'N. The monster was above her, pinning her down to the ground in the woods, she felt the claws digging into her, though still not piercing the flesh. And then the colors faded from the world around her, they became muted, less vibrant and she thought she would prefer to look at the world like that all the time. And orange lightning emerged, engulfing her, you... she realized.
When her vision ended, she realized you were holding her up, her back pressed against you to avoid drawing much attention. Wednesday thought that, after how you danced, no one would notice her having a vision, they'd just think she willingly leaned back into you.
"Wednesday?" the concern in your voice made her feel sick.
"I'm fine," she said, but that image remained in her head. Goody told her to use a raiju. To use you. But could she do it if that was the outcome?
A/N: I have a newly found love-hate relationship with this damn dance! I love it, but I hated writing it! Glad that one is over with, please, don't make me go through this again.

Bianca criticizes Y/N on their fencing skills (comments timeline included)
Bianca: You're sloppy. You're gonna fail.
Y/N: Wednesday wouldn't allow that.
Bianca: Wednesday won't always be around. You need to improve your technique.
*Wednesday knocks on the nearby window*
Wednesday hold a sign up: Want me to kill them?
Y/n: Yes, my love. You may
Bianca: What the fuck?
Bianca: ...We’re 20 feet above ground and she isn’t using a ladder, how the fuck?
Y/n: Shhhh... She's amazing and you could be the one six feet under if you provoke her
*Wendsday nodding while trying to open the window with one hand*
Bianca: Ummm, no, but seriously there’s no windowsill for her to climb up and to keep her there and there’s no ladder? Did she glue herself or get somebody to throw her up there or are students just becoming a living ladder!?
Principal Weems: She climbed the wall like a spider...
Y/N: Spider baby
Bianca: …But how is she like spider-girl now or something? Does she have supernatural powers to do that? HOW DID WE NOT HEAR HER!?
Enid: She used to climb up the wall to Ophelia Hall after principle Weems put her on lockdown. She's just insanely silent
Y/N: is more like a talent now days... I still love her *dramatic in love sight*
Enid: I'm posting this video!
*Wendsday enters the room through window and Reader and Wednesday both chase enid*
Enid: Already posted!
Y/N: So you have chosen death?
Enid:.......Principle weems! Y/n is threatening me again!
Y/N: Technically, I'm using my girlfriend to threaten you...
*Wendsday pulling out knives*
Enid: THEYRE BOTH THREATENING ME!
Weems: It's your fault for posting the video but this does not mean you can kill her
Y/n: ......What if Wendsday just harms her?
Weems: ...... *Sight* just don't kill her......
*Weems walks away exasperated*
Bianca: ....I just wanted to do fencing
*Enid screams while she is being chased by Wendsday while Y/n laughs*
Enid: And I wanted two normal friends! I guess we are both disappointed! Xavier help me!!
Xavier: ye-
*Wednesday looks at him*
Xavier: YOUR ON YOUR OWN!
Everyone went at Enid's funeral because she thought she could out smart Y/N and out run Wendsday

happy birthday
pairings: ooc! soft Wednesday x fem reader
summary: birthdays have never been your thing often sneaking away from your own party to think
warnings: use of drugs, mention of abusive households, angst?, comfort
a/n: got a bit carried away kinda like this one tho :) hope you enjoy ❤️
The “surprise” party had been in full swing for about an hour now and it seemed that everyone but you was enjoying themselves, enid and ajax had jumped in the pool wednesday had disappeared to god knows where, and then there was your parents mingling with there friends they’d invited, pushing myself off the living room wall i trudge to my room.
as i lay out everything in my tray i hear a soft knock on my door “come in it’s unlocked” i yell to be heard over the loud music outside, wednesday steps into my room closing the door behind her with a click “i’ve been looking for you” i roll my eyes at her signature glare “well you found me” she hums and steps closer “you know you really shouldn’t smoke that stuff it’s bad for you” pausing as i bring the joint up to my lips to wet the paper “you gonna lecture me addams or are you gonna keep the birthday girl company” not waiting for a response i stand and make my way to the front door both of us slipping out unnoticed.
the walk through the forest was completed in comfortable silence and i reach my destination in record time as i sit on the grass wednesday settles in next to me “beautiful isnt it” i ask looking at the view of field after felid sprawled out below us “found it after me and dad had an argument when i was 10 been my smoke spot since i hit 14” i bring the joint to my lips and light it enjoying the feeling of smoke hitting my lungs “what about you got any cool spots near home i don’t know about” she thinks for a second and the ghost of a smile crosses her face “there’s an old secluded graveyard a short hike from my house not even my mother knows about it i go there when i don’t want to be bothered reading by pugsley” she bumps shoulders with me and i turn my head “thank you, you know for coming im usually alone on my birthday it’s nice to have you here” she reaches up to caress my cheek “you’ll never be alone mi amor, but didn’t we just sneak away from a party thrown in your name” she quirks an eyebrow at me and i chew on my bottom lip thinking about how to explain it all.
i take a breath and it all comes flowing out “and out of everyone there not once person has noticed, not today or any of the other years i’ve left, those parties aren’t for me weds god even my cake says 16 and i turn 18 this year” i run my hands through my (h/c) hair and let out another exasperated sigh “it’s always been rocky with my parents, they always expect more from me and then i ended up at nevermore and it was like a new beginning yeah they would send me letters telling me how upset with my grades they are but atleast i wasn’t going to bed bleeding anymore” i drop my head onto her shoulder not wanting to continue in fear of crying.
wednesday reaches into her pocket and brings out a little necklace with a “W” on it “i know your not one for big gifts or anything but i wanted to show you how much i care” i try to say something and she cuts me off with her lips on mine i sigh into the softness and pull her closer by her jacket “i meant what i said (y/n) your never going to be alone again not now i’ve got you and this just means you’ll take a part of me wherever you go” resting my forehead against hers i smile “thank you weds honestly this has been the best birthday in a while” she pulls away and stands holding her hand out “dance with me pretty girl”
i oblige throwing the butt of my joint in the grass as i stand it hits me and i stumble slightly into wednesdays waiting arms giggling she puts the necklace around my neck and attempts to spin me but being much shorter than me it fails causing more giggling “who would have thought you couldn’t spin someone nes” a blush creeps up her neck and she grumbles out “not my fault your a giant” i giggle at the statement “it’s getting late we should make our way back” she nods reluctantly knowing neither of us want to leave the bubble we created, the walk back was filled with mindless chatter reaching the back gate she turns to me “you seriously think there are pots of gold at the bottom of a rainbow” her eyebrows raised in amusement “personally i think it’s weird as shit that you DONT believe that addams, honestly your supposed to be the smart one” i smile reaching over her to unlatch the gate “ready to go back in?” she looks up and places a kiss to my jaw “i feel like i should be asking you that question but yeah i’m ready” i smile and push the gate open and am met with the screams of people in the pool “oh and for the record i still think your weird as shit” wednesday looks at me as a smile graces her face “the feeling is incredibly mutual amour”

𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄
: When Wednesday stumbles onto her balcony for some fresh air, she finds an unexpected trespasser already there.
Requested: No
Word count: 1138
Warnings: None
It wasn't very often that peace rang out amongst the Nevermore grounds. Only at the midst of night could such a rare occasion be found- but even then, the school was never truly silent. With the howling of werewolves on full moons and the dripping of yesterday's storms seems to put the school in a never-ending cycle of insatiable life.
But tonight, Enid had fallen asleep happily listening to her questionable pop music and, even in her sleep, refused to let Wednesday turn it off, often growling or snarling when she got too close. So, with a growing headache, the only sensible option was to take a much-desired breather on the balcony.
Tossing the warm bed covers away, Wednesday slides on some shoes before squeezing herself out of the large, circular window that created a sense of demanding division between her and her flashy roommate.
However, as she went to close the window to stop a draft from forming inside, an unusual sight befriended her eyes at the cost of her self-indulgent mind.
At first, she took in the regular sightings. How the foreground mixed into the background in a haze of darkness. How the forest beyond extended for acres of land- how the tree branches writhe like vile monstrous tendrils of an untamed beast. It was all as normal… but there was one richer detail that hadn't been here the previous times she had been.
A figure… perched and sat contently on the half walls that form a brick railing for safety, ensuring the school couldn't get sued this time round. It- they- sat with a noticeably straightened back, their hands gripping onto the ledge for extra support as they sway lightly. With hair that drapes graciously from their scalp and a certain shine to their skin, it was obvious this was an outcast, just not one Wednesday had met before.
"Excuse me" The sound of Wednesday's monotone voice had you tweaking an ear at her, your head shifting to the side to adjust to the noise.
"You're excused," you grin silently, tapping the spot beside you with a small slap. "I'm joking, come sit with me"
"Why should I?" Wednesday resorted to her distance, feeling safer a good ten feet away from the stranger than right beside them and a huge drop. And no matter how at ease she is with most things dead, she still has a life to fulfil before it's her own time.
"You came out here for some air, right?" A small hum of both confusion and recognition chimes in the air with a sour taste. "So did I. So come and sit with your guest"
"An uninvited guest"
"Well done, would you like a black star?"
Wednesday scoffs under her breath, reframing herself from just pushing you off of the railing altogether and claiming she had no involvement with the tragedy. "This makes you a trespasser, and it's beyond curfew"
"When have you ever cared about curfew, Wednesday?" To this, the smaller girl widens her eyes, figuratively. She's never had an interaction with you until this point, so how did you know her name? "Besides, it's not like I'm going to do anything"
"How can I be so sure"
"If I ought to do something, I would've done it already"
"Sounds like a bad alibi," you find yourself subconsciously rolling your eyes at this, finding her lack of trust exasperating to your mood.
"Just… trust me. We could both use the company" Wednesday lets a small sigh bypass the gateway that is her plush lips as she casually moves over to you, her hands strictly by her side. Although, they do itch to either push or strangle you… there's no certain in-between.
"It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" You begin, drawing the cautious eyes of the ravenette.
"I'd dare to say I agree" You roll your eyes once more, feeling her stubbornness grow strong. You hum.
"What's your favourite part of the view?"
"The dirt," she shortly replies, having you querk an eyebrow. "It holds many secrets"
"Fair enough," you mumble, taking in a deep breath. "I've definitely become more enthralled by the night sky itself. There's just something in the way it gives everything a new sense of distant power"
Wednesday just hums, still glancing at your side profile as you just grin at the landscaping. Your teeth are so white and sharp that they look almost like jagged blades in the faint humming glow of the moon.
"What are you?" Wednesday blurts out, unaware of her podding curiosity.
"I thought it was obvious," you mumble, finally turning your head to see the smaller girl. And this time, Wednesday's eyes actually widen in a distinctively blurred line between shock and confusion.
The frosty light streamed between your razor-sharp teeth that almost looked like fangs. Thick horns sprouted amidst the cracking skin of your forehead as they lean back past your still hair-covered scalp. Your eyes glowed a menacing tangent of orange, but the luminescent silver scales that climb up your neck say otherwise.
"Never seen a dragon before?" You chuckle lightly as Wednesday just continues to stare into your soul stealing eyes.
"I thought dragons were extinct- this makes no sense" You only chuckle more at Wednesday's utterly wrong statement.
"No- we're very much alive and thriving… the school just doesn't accept dragons for our… reckless and carefree behaviour"
"Then why are you on my balcony?"
"I guess I'm just reckless and carefree" you smile, your teeth adorning your plush-plated lips. "I just needed to get away from my brothers, they're all just so loud when they snore"
"Fascinating," Wednesday mumbles unknowingly.
"Our species is so covert right now that it's almost cute someone finds us 'fascinating', Wednesday" You find yourself hiding out a wicked sight, halfway between a smile and a grin playing a twisted game on your appearance.
A brief silence succumbs to the inevitable as you just stare at each other, Wednesday is still cautiously studying your features like a criminal would do to a bank before robbing it of its values. The only sounds that remain present at this moment are the sounds between you both.
It's weird- unusual for a school of such unusually disturbing sound. Never have you ever heard the academy to be so quiet that you could literally hear a pin drop even from the height of this balcony.
"I don't breathe fire- just so you're aware…" You awkwardly chuckle as her eyes trail down to your slightly parted lips, her eyebrow raising above the other.
"What do you breathe then?"
"Take a gander"
"Ice…"
You nod, finding her answer intriguing as not many would've guessed correctly so easily. "You're pretty observant, aren't you, Miss Addams?" Of course you knew her last name. If you knew her first name, then why wouldn't you?
Wednesday just hums, finally looking you in the fierce eyes once again, just in time for the window to creek open behind her.
"Wednesday?" A familiar drowsy voice calls into the midst of the night.
"Enid. What are you doing up?" Wednesday turns her head to see the bubbly roommate she so much 'despises'
"You left the window open…" Enid groans, holding one of her plushies loosely in her right arm. If Wednesday hadn't already known the girl, she could've easily mistaken her for a small child.
Wednesday sighs, turning back to you. However, she's just left with an empty spot where the only sign of your existence was the frosty layer you left upon the bricks you had previously touched.
"Come back inside, it's chilly out here"
Wednesday's skin suddenly pricks an odd shape upon her sleeved arm. Pulling back the material, she struggles to read the markings, but she can just faintly depict a farewell of "bye" almost spelt on her arm.

Woe for One More - An Excerpt
The clicks and clacks of calluses against metal keys reverberated against the walls of Wednesday’s room at Nevermore. Her back was angled towards the sleeping blonde she shared the room with and her front was facing a white piece of paper that was growing blacker by the second.
The ferocity of her keystrokes was setting the typewriter before her ablaze. The tips of her fingers were racing against the words in her head to see who would be edging the other one out at the finish line. Word by word, brick by brick, Wednesday was laying down the path that Viper De La Muerte would eventually walk.
DING
The ring of the bell.
zziiipppp
The slide of the carriage.
“Wednesday…”
The croak of a newly-awakened roommate.
DING
But there was no time for distraction, only abstraction.
zziiipppp
“Wednesday!” Enid’s exclamation was sandwiched between the grog of just having been asleep and the exasperation of just having been taken out of it. It was a familiar sound, though one Wednesday was accustomed to hearing later in the morning.
“You’re up early.” Wednesday’s fingers slowed the tiniest bit as to both give her mouth the energy to form words and to not overpower her own voice with the sound of typing.
“That’s because you woke me up,” the other girl whinged. The nonchalance of Wednesday’s reply had only fed more into Enid’s aggravation at the disturbance. “What time is it even?”
Wednesday’s hands paused while she looked over her shoulder. But instead of looking at Enid, she focused on the half-rainbow-tinted ray of light being cast onto the floor between them.
“Based on the position of the sun – ” she started, her eyes returning to the page.
DING
“ – I would say it’s a quarter to six.”
zziiipppp
“A quarter to – ” Annoyance mixed freely with disbelief as Enid was hit with the realization of what time it was. “What are you even doing up this early?”
“I was – ”
“Don’t answer,” Enid sighed, “because I’ll tell you what you’re doing up – you’re keeping me from sleeping.” The words barely reached Wednesday’s ears, unable to compete with the sound of keystrokes emanating from her fingertips. “See? Just like that.”
“I wake you up everyday; you should be used to this by now.” The statement came out matter-of-factly, almost as if Wednesday was chastising Enid for being bothered by the unwelcome reveille. “Besides – ”
DING
“ – I had no choice. I was asleep when I had an idea for my novel and it was imperative that I get the words down on paper before I lose them.”
zziiipppp
“Well, if you ask me, it sounds like you’re not losing a single one.” Enid’s barb came out dull and edgeless. It seemed that the girl had realized how any attempt at sarcasm or admonishment would prove futile in Wednesday’s current state.
DING
She was right.
zziiipppp
“Don’t pout, Enid; you’ll get wrinkles. I cannot control when inspiration chooses to rain down upon me.” Wednesday hands stopped again as she read over the newly written line. “I can only choose to take advantage of it and drink from that well whenever it fills.”
DING
“Though from the looks of it – ” The formerly ceaseless sounds of typing did not continue. Wednesday’s hands hovered above the keys. An errant twitch disclosed her desire to keep on typing, but she found no more words behind them. Her eyes scanned the page, tracing back the path her dreams had led her on. She had reached a dead-end.
zziiipppp
“ – it does appear as if that font has now run dry.”
“Good.” It came out muffled, no doubt due to the pillow Enid had placed over her own head. “Now I can go back to sleep.”
“Actually…”
The word flew from Wednesday’s mouth into Enid’s ear before exiting the tired girl as a groan. She knew what was coming next.
“Yes, roomie?” She sounded defeated. There would be no rest for this werewolf today.
“I am currently at a loss at how to deal with the corner I’ve written myself into.” Wednesday turned around in her chair, her legs now hanging off to the side, as she looked over to the girl across the room from her. This was not the first time she had used Enid as a sounding board, and though she was nowhere near as eloquent as Thing was with his notes, she was at least twice as blunt and thrice as willing.
“Viper is currently investigating a local farm after several claims of it being a front for a cult that harvests organs. Unfortunately, after having broken in and finding proof positive of these allegations, she’s now been captured by the cult’s leader without any apparent way out.” She paused as she ran the scenario over in her head again, but her mind was still blank. “Save for the appearance of a deus ex machina, I’m afraid I have no idea how she escapes.”
Wednesday was first met with silence – save for the stray creak of her own chair as she adjusted her sitting position. The room was quiet, and if it wasn’t for the fact that Enid was notorious for growling in her sleep, then Wednesday would’ve suspected that she had indeed drifted off. But then – finally – a sign of life.
Five colorful digits rose up to pull the cushion off of Enid’s face before slamming it back down onto the bed beside her. The blonde mop on her head looked a mess as whatever parts not matted to her forehead stuck up and stood out in all kinds of directions. Her torso was covered by an oversized and faded t-shirt from a childhood vacation to a popular tourist trap. The blanket below her waist laid twisted and contorted around her appendages, exposing her feet along the bottom of it. As she pushed herself up using her hands, rising like the sun, she looked over to the person that had disturbed her to begin with.
Enid’s eyes, usually eager and open, were squinting at Wednesday through the early morning stupor. And even through the narrowed eyelids the other girl presented her, Wednesday could see how the sun glinted off the blue of her irises.
It was a sight that Wednesday saw everyday, something she considered as integral to her morning routine as the cup of coffee she drank whilst Thing braided her hair. The vision of Enid rising from her sheets, like a wolf coming out of its den, stirred something inside her that she couldn’t exactly place – a certain warmth that felt unfamiliar, albeit not entirely unwelcome.
It was a concern that had plagued her thoughts ever since the two had returned to Nevermore, but she had made no attempts to tackle it. After all, who was she to try and avoid the plague?
“Why don’t you just make it so that she doesn’t get captured?” The gruffness of Enid’s voice was starting to disappear as she finally began acclimating to the waking world around her.
“A story without conflict is no story. How satisfying can the climax of this be if there are no trials or tribulations before it?”
“Fine, fine.” Enid yawned, accompanying the noise with a lengthy stretch and groan. “Well, Viper’s a detective, right? Doesn’t she have a partner or someone that can help her out?”
“Viper De La Muerte works alone. She has no partner – I’ve told you this.”
“Yeah, I remember.” Enid ran a hand through her hair in a poor attempt to smooth it down. “No one wants to work with her because she keeps waking them up at 6 AM with her typing, right?”
“I’ll have you know that Viper is one of the most wanted detectives in all of the continental United States.”
“Just continental?”
“After several incidents with the TSA, Viper has been deemed a flight risk.”
“That’s not a surprise,” Enid said with a roll of her eyes. “So, when you said she was the most wanted, that also means–”
“You’re missing the point of the matter; Viper doesn’t need a partner.”
“Why does it matter if she needs one? Can’t she just meet a nice girl that likes her even though she’s weird and off-putting?” Enid was exasperated. “Besides, you can’t honestly tell me she doesn’t need a partner right now when one would literally solve both of you two’s problems.”
An empty air. She had asked for a way out and Enid had given one to her, though it went against everything she had written Viper to stand for. No matter how dire the situation, the detective had always managed to escape – whether it was through her wits or extensive knowledge of neurotoxins, there was nothing that she hadn’t been able to figure out by herself.
Wednesday was very much the same way.
Well, she used to be.
It wasn’t until coming to Nevermore that she realized that her penchant for independence could prove to be such a liability. There was no doubt that she would not be sitting where she was if not for the odd group of peers that she had managed to inadvertently cultivate. Bianca and the other Nightshades. Eugene and his hive of bees. But one relation shone brighter than the rest.
Before this, Wednesday could’ve never even imagined someone like Enid, let alone the notion of becoming friends with them. But over the past few months, after everything they’ve gone through, the idea of calling Enid a friend still left an odd aftertaste on her tongue. No, not because someone like Wednesday Addams would never stoop so low as to admit to having friends, but it was because someone like Enid deserved something more. Something like –
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Come and be my love
The saccharine sound of a K-pop song rang out from Enid’s phone and promptly reminded Wednesday where she was, pinned to a hard slab of writer’s block. What followed was even worse: a familiar female voice, reading out some trite description about a person’s daily routine, only to be cut off by the same robotic voice reading something as equally banal. Songs and sentences repeatedly being severed by the swipe of Enid’s finger – “TikTok” was what she had called it.
“Enid...” Any goodwill she had harbored towards the blonde had disappeared as a tempered fire crackled beneath her words. “Why aren’t you using your headphones?”
Enid looked up from her phone. “Oh, uh…I kinda fell asleep with them on.” A soft chuckle belied the greater embarrassment behind the answer, though Wednesday felt that there was something behind that as well.
With a raised eyebrow, Wednesday leaned in for a better chance at scrutiny. “You wear your headphones to sleep all the time – why was this occasion different from the rest?”
Enid’s hands lowered the phone until it sat in her lap, her legs muffling the sounds of a pitched up pop hit from a decade prior. “Well, the last time I wore them, it was during the full moon, so they might’ve broken when I…” She pawed shyly at the air in front of her before extending her claws.
“I see.” Wednesday paused.
It was common for Enid to be absent-minded and forgetful, and it was even more common for Wednesday to tease her about it, but she found the current subject matter exempt from such behavior. She was aware of how worried Enid had been about being able to transform again after that first time, so it was a relief to hear that things were progressing smoothly.
“I suppose that’s a good problem to have had,” Wednesday said decidedly. The tone was soft and mindful, without even an ounce of ridicule.
Enid’s ears perked up at what Wednesday had to say. The shy look on her face made way for the signs of a smile, only to be dashed aside by Wednesday’s next words.
“However, you should look into purchasing new ones.” Wednesday turned around to focus on her typewriter. She pulled out the piece of paper there and set it aside before reaching for a new one. “That way I won’t have to reprimand you for the noise.”
DING
zziiipppp
Wednesday could feel Enid’s eyes on the back of her head and she could hear the audio from earlier unmuffling itself as the phone was removed from the crook of her legs. “Wow, how considerate of you.”
“I try,” Wednesday replied, unperturbed. She cracked her knuckles and flexed her fingers above the metal keys. Her eyes moved over the blank piece of paper, hoping that a fresh start would be able to remedy her issue. “Now, we still have some time before class and I plan to utilize it as efficiently as I – “
“Oh. My. God! Wednesday!”
She sighed.
“Yes, Enid?”
“Do you know what day it is?” The excitement in her voice was palpable, a distinct shift from the sulking she was doing mere moments before.
Wednesday’s head pivoted towards the calendar she had on her desk. By habit, she reached for the quill pen and dipped it in the inkwell beside it. The tip of the feather floated over the many x’s that covered the paper until it arrived at the previous day. She promptly crossed the date out before turning her eyes towards the impetus for Enid’s elation.

Valerye let out a defeated sigh.
They were in this shop for what felt like hours. It wasn't even the first shop they went into and she started to feel dejected after the seventh dress Enid picked out for her to try on there.
At least one of them overcompensated for Val's lack of enthusiasm.
Xavier turned out to be severely unhelpful as well. Every single one she put on, he deemed as the most gorgeous one he had ever seen on her. She huffed in exasperation every time.
She thought he would be a great balance to the four of them. As the resident tortured artist, she thought he would not only put his great sense of aesthetic to use, but also balance out her overthinking, Wednesday's absolute lack of input and Enid's chaotic mind.
All he did was stand behind her, while she looked at herself in the massive mirror outside of the changing rooms.
He towered over her. His large palms glided over her waist and ribs. He peppered her neck with kisses, whispering praises into her ear.
"You say that for every single one."
"Not my fault you look good in everything… and nothing on you."
He made her blush slightly and she wriggled out of his grip when he started to nip at her earlobe. She swatted him playfully.
"You're not helping."
***
Turned out, Wednesday first had enough of the fruitless endeavours.
She got up so suddenly she startled Val who was looking through the rack next to her.
"This is torture." She spoke, flatly. "And not the fun one."
Val nodded, deflated. She felt as if she went through the entire shop twice and still, not a single dress caught her eye. But Enid insisted on trying more and more pieces. It was her favourite shop in Jericho. She clearly didn't want to admit defeat just yet.
Wednesday stood there, frozen in place for a minute. Her eyes trained on Valerye's hands going through the materials. She was even more stiff than usual. Almost as if she was deeply lost in thought.
"I'm going for a quad." Wednesday announced.
With a few strides, she was at the door.
"Get me a flat white?" Val looked over to Enid, piling more dresses onto Xavier's shoulders. "We're going to be here for a while…"
Wednesday's unblinking gaze followed and Val would swear she saw her jaw twitch.
With her hand on the door handle, she spoke.
"Get the one from the sale section. The black one. I do not wish to be stuck here again when I come back."
And with a ding of a bell she was gone.
***
The dress looked… very unassuming.
Val looked at the hanger in hand. If Wednesday wasn't a particularly gloomy person, she would think this was some kind of a joke.
How was this supposed to look good on her, she didn't know. But she was willing to try anything other than Enid's continuous frilly picks.
And the dress had a turtleneck, so it might be worth a try.
"Found something?"
Xavier perked up from behind the mountain of fabric.
"Wednesday did."
He looked equally perplexed at that as she was.
He took in the dress on the hanger in her hand and raised his eyebrows.
"Well, the colour fits the theme." He shrugged. "You should go to the changing room. There's a lot of people coming in."
"Yes, sir." She gave him a wink.
She saw him bite his lip before she closed the curtain.
***
"Hey, could you help me out? I think the zipper on the turtleneck got stuck."
The dress was absolutely gorgeous. Backless, sleeveless, with long and flowing material cascading down from the hips. It was parting at the sides into two, high slits that made her legs visible when she moved right. And they looked pretty nice in the black heels she brought with her.
She heard the curtain ruffle and a quiet voice followed.
"Oh wow."
Xavier stood inside the changing room, frozen in place. His green eyes roamed over her back. He took in the sight in front of him and could feel the heat licking at his cock. It twitched inside his jeans.
Val's arms were up, holding the turtleneck closed at the back of her neck. She looked at her boyfriend in the mirror in front of her. She knew that look. And she knew what it meant.
Before she could speak, however, she felt Xavier's large palms on her hips. He turned her around in a swift motion. Her bare back pressed against the mirror, making her hiss at the cold sensation.
She looked down and saw Xavier kneeling in front of her, pushing the front of the dress up and to the side. His eyes trained on her face. She felt his palm glide up one of her legs and she had to stifle a soft moan that was about to fall from her mouth.
The air hit Val's pussy and before she knew it, Xavier latched his mouth on her. His tongue darted out in between her folds and she whined at the slick warmth.
He grunted against her, sending the vibrations up to her very core. His eyes mischievous.
He was an expert at making her lose her composure by now. He worked his magic, his skilled tongue licking her in all the right places. Alternating it with his plump lips clasping around her now throbbing clit, sucking on it just right.
The lewd sounds of his mouth working on her were getting louder.
"Xavier!" She whisper-shouted, wanting to scold him but instead, a high pitched squeal escaped her. He looked up at her in faux innocence from in between her legs. Sucking at her swollen nub, hard. Her hand flew towards her mouth in a desperate attempt to quieten herself.
"Someone might hear us!" Her voice came muffled.
"Hear you." He corrected her, a shit eating grin on his flushed face when he detached himself for a second. A string of her arousal stretched from his lip and she whimpered at the sight of it.
He pushed one of her thighs over his shoulder.
And then, she felt two of his fingers stretch her cunt. His mouth followed, sucking at her with even more determination.
Val was barely able to keep quiet now. He seemed to know every single sweet spot of hers. Know the level of intensity that made her throw her head back with a fucked out grimace on it - and this time was no different.
She banged her head on the mirror, pressing her palm hard against her mouth. A strangled moan escaped her.
"Better be quiet, baby." His muffled voice sent another wave of tingling jolts through her clit, pooling in her core. A fleeting thought of smacking him came through her mind but was swept out by his warm tongue now rubbing her clit while he sucked on her.
He was making her lose her mind. Her hips bucked against his face, trying to grind herself on his lips. His fingers pumped her so good, making her clench around him every time he pressed them against her spot.
Her stilettoed foot dug the heel into his back. She tried to ground herself. She was getting lost in the wonderful pleasure. Getting even more horny at the squelching sounds his fingers made, fucking her hole without mercy. Her knees buckled, he had to hold her up now with his free hand.
She was about to cum. She felt it in the burning sensations in her clit and thighs. And she knew it was the wet one coming.
"Xav, wait." Val tried to push his head away.
He only shook his head, making her squeal at the sensation of his lips rubbing against her.
"The dress– oh fuck, I'm gonna wet myself, aah!"
"Yes, give it to me, baby. Squirt on me." Xavier's low, breathless voice was the last thing she registered before he latched back onto her clit.
And she fell apart.
Her whole body shook, as the jolts of her orgasm went through her. Her cunt clenched repeatedly on his still moving fingers. His full lips still wrapped around her throbbing clit, sucking and licking her through it.
"Fuck!" Val almost pressed her own fingers into her mouth to stifle the wailing that tore from her throat. She couldn't avert her eyes from Xavier. He knew perfectly well what he was doing.
She felt the first few drops spurt out after a hard spasm of her pussy, almost making her slide down if it wasn't for Xavier’s arm holding her up.
And then, his lips were gone, just as he pulled his fingers out of her. Only to circle her thigh and rub his thumb over her oversensitive nub. Drawing out a forceful squirting out of her. She was not able to process the sight in between her thighs.
Xavier's mouth was now open and pressed against her pussy. His eyes, full with lust, were burning into her face as she squirted right into his mouth.
And he drank her.
She could hear his pleasured groans in between the sounds of swallowing. Her mind was swimming, barely able to think from the slowly subsiding orgasm.
He then licked and kissed her clean when she finally stopped spasming enough for her to stand on her own.
"Needed a hand with the zipper, right?" He asked, feigning innocence. He let go of her thigh and straightened up. His lips, rubbed red and glistening, fought hard not to twist into a smile.
She cursed at him, trying to regain composure. Her underwear immediately got wet when she fixed herself and stood back straight.
Her face was flushed, eyes bright and skin covered in a thin layer of sweat.
"How's the dress?"
"I thought I made my opinion pretty clear just now."
"Well. Thank you." She mouthed at him and rolled her eyes at him puffing out his chest. His signature smirk was back. "Now get out."
***
"You've got something on your face. Just there, on your lips." Enid frowned at Xavier, trying to get a better look.
Val felt her heart stop for a second when she looked over at him from the checkout. It was a bit of her slick that clung to his skin.
He then looked Val dead in the eye. Pushed it into his mouth with his thumb and sucked on it. His eyes never leaving hers.
She shuddered. Heat clawed at her neck again.
"You two are retch-worthy levels of disgusting."
A coffee was pressed into Val's hand as she turned around to leave the cash register. Wednesday was back from the coffee shop.
"Whaddya mean, Wen?"
Enid, bless her heart, Val thought. Her cheeks heated up a bit at the grin Xavier gave her.
"I consider engaging in the acts of public indecency to be quite revolting."
Val picked up the pace and exited the shop before she could hear Wednesday explain anything.
"I swear I am going to strangle you one day."
"With your thighs tonight, I hope?"
The grin didn't seem to falter one bit.
"You are impossible." She groaned. But she pulled him down into a kiss and sighed. She could taste herself on his tongue still.
She would fuck that smirk off his face tonight, that was sure.

Something light and sweet to make up for the lack of posts (more requests are coming this week!)
‘’Is that my hoodie/shirt?’’
Request: Enid is so the type of girl who does tiktok dances. Maybe she and reader can do one together (platonic)
—
Another scream of frustration left Enid’s mouth after you missed another move. You and her had been cooped up in her dorm all afternoon working on a tiktok dance. They look so easy when you watch them from your bed, but when you’re the one learning and doing the choreography…it’s another story.
‘’It's a wrist whirl twist…an helicopter, not a butterfly.’’
‘’I know, I'm sorry,’’ you apologized, feeling bad for — once again — making a mistake in the dance.
She deleted the video and put the shutter at ten seconds before running back to you. ‘’Let’s do it again.’’
Slide to the left, then slide to the right, you mentally said to yourself as you did the moves. Baby cradle — one, two, three. Now, helicopter hands quickly...and dice roll. Left hand pushing someone away, come here motions and smi—
You almost had it, but the dorm door opened, breaking your concentration and making you miss the next more. Both your head Enid’s heads turned, seeing Wednesday returning from her session with Dr. Kinbott.
Her usual deadpan look was replaced by a mix of confusion and horror. ‘’I would ask what the two of you are doing, but the atrocious choreography I just witnessed was enough to give me nightmares for the next five days — not the good bone chilling ones.’’
Enid seethed — and whistled like a kettle. ‘’Wednesday! You just ruined our tiktok,’’ she told her roommate in exasperation.
‘’Your what?’’ the raven haired girl asked, completely oblivious to what tiktok was.
Later in the afternoon, you met with Ajax in the quad. He was sitting by himself in a corner, playing on his phone while waiting for you.
‘’What took you so long?’’ he asked after you greeted him with a kiss.
‘’Enid had me hostage in her dorm. She wouldn’t let me go until we got this dance,’’ you explained, taking a seat beside Ajax. He was wearing the beanie you got him last week — a warm purple color with a looser and more breathable fit so his snakes would be more comfortable underneath.
His eyebrows pulled into a confused frown. ‘’Dance? What dance?’’
You took his phone and opened tiktok, going to Enid’s account to show him. When your face appeared on the screen, Ajax smiled and you suddenly grew shy as he watched you dance to Becky G's song. You didn’t see the final cut, what if you looked ridiculous?
‘’I didn't know you danced,’’ Ajax said, liking the post and then closing his phone.
‘’I don't. I'm terrible at it. It took us over twenty takes to get it right.’’
The gorgon chuckled at the anecdote and kissed your cheek. ‘’I think it looks good.’’
You thanked him and started talking about the coming harvest festival and all the rides you want to try. Ajax usually never went to Jericho’s harvest festival, not a fan of crowded places, but you gave him your best puss in boots eyes and he couldn’t say no to those.
A brisk of wind blew and messed up your hair and Ajax tucked your hair behind your ear. He was so sweet. ‘’Is that my hoodie?’’
You looked down and realized that you forgot to take it off before coming to the quad. You had stolen it from his dorm a few weeks ago and when he asked if you had seen it, you played fool.

A Marriage That's Unlike Her Parents'
Enid taps a melody on the driving wheel on their way to a grocery store. Despite the late evening the werewolf kept her joyful energy. Even when technically doing a chore. Wednesday doesn’t know if it’s because of the music playing or because they’re doing it together.
It could go both ways really.
Wednesday tries her damndest to not pay attention to the inane lyrics but them being in English for once and Enid singing them interrupts that.
“Don't you go fallin' in love. 'Cause I'ma break that shit up. I won't let her. Love you like I do. Touch you like I do. Nothing like I do~”
Wednesday stopped questioning why sometimes Enid randomly plays songs in English or Spanish amidst the drowning of Korean years ago. Fully knowing that Wednesday only tolerates her song choices when she’s spared understanding of the copy pasted lyrics. At first the she-wolf wouldn’t comprehend that she was doing it, not realizing the language switch since somehow it was still Korean pop.
Somehow.
It is better not to ponder over it much.
She can dredge an occasional mishap. Smidgen of English during the chorus is technically part of the Korean pop staple so even when singing English it can be a forgiven mistake.
“Wens, can you check what’s the title? I swear it’s on the back of my tongue but I can’t get it and it’s so irritating.”
Wednesday picks up the pink cased phone and turns the screen on. “By brackets capital G end of brackets, capital I, hyphen, D L E capitalized too and the song title is ‘I Do’-”
When Enid hits the manual brakes and swerves the car, performing a drift to a stop on the side of the road, Wednesday realizes the trap that ensnared her. She sighs deeply.
Enid doesn’t react to the exasperated look and takes off her ring, then Wednesday’s, and then holds them between their joined hands. “By the power vested in me by the State of New Jersey-” she cheerfully starts.
“Enid, our latest divorce papers did not even go through.”
“-shush, I pronounce us wife and wife.” Enid puts a ring on Wednesday’s finger.
“You didn’t even propose this time.” Wednesday rolls her eyes and does the same.
“You were adorable and asleep and sleep talked a yes. You may kiss the bride.”
Wednesday kisses the smiling lips. “Did you even really crave your favorite ice cream we can only get in one store?”
Enid giggles as she backs up the car.
“Of course amorcita, how else would I celebrate my seventeenth wedding?”
#silly idea that wednesday keeps divorcing enid over smallest inconviences#enid proposes over the smallest nice things#their taxes are a mess#'can we break up for 30 minutes so i can relate to this break up song?'#'only if i can divorce you at least once'#wenclair fanfic#wenclair#og post#andrew look#marriage shenanigans

inspired by @chaoticstupiddm, @therulerofallpotatos, and @beri-allen
Weyler Week is 6 days away, so I shall also try to do my part in hyping it up!
So obviously I decided I'd join very late (I also discovered it late so), so naturally I have finished none of the fics for it. But oh well!! It's still fun to do!! For my hype post I'll share my (possibly temporary) first sentences for each fic! (I don't have titles for them yet LOL forgive me)
Day 1's prompts is a mixture of dancing in the kitchen, college au, and poison!
“Heyyyy Bestie!”
Wednesday let out a sigh, rolling her eyes as she turned her computer chair away from her desk to face her roommate. “What do you want, Enid?”
Enid grinned at her, her eyes glinting mischievously. “So Ajax and I were thinking of sneaking to the kitchen tonight—”
“Perfect,” Wednesday interrupted, turning back around. “I'll finally be able to sleep in peace.”
Enid sighed in fond exasperation, coming to her side. “Actually,” she said, smirking at her. “I was hoping you'd join us.”
Wednesday glared up at her through her bangs. “No.”
ALSO FEATURES: Petroclair, Tyler loving baking, Wednesday being bad at feelings, shy Tyler, and Ajax and Tyler being friends
Day 2's prompts is a mixture of movie night and nightmares!
Wednesday didn't often watch movies, but Tyler enjoyed it, so she often found herself being dragged to movie nights with him, one way or another. But that didn't mean that she always let him pick what they'd watch.
ALSO FEATURES: Tyler being jumpy, someone getting sick, Wednesday's hand being in Tyler's hair, and Donovan being exhausted by them both (but being affectionate about it in his own way)
The prompt I picked for Day 3 is Holiday Decorations!
Wednesday wasn't sure how she got into this situation, but she knew it was Tyler's fault.
ALSO FEATURES: Tyler torturing Wednesday for once, Petroclair, Tyler baking again, and mistletoe
For Day 4, the prompt I decided to do was writer/barista AU! (I don't think I'm doing this exactly right lol but yeah)
Wednesday took her writing very seriously, going as far as to research whatever info she needed in person. She refused to be that type of author who didn't bother making simple things accurate. So when one of her characters had to go undercover as a barista, she knew she'd need to do some research to be sure she got all the details accurate.
ALSO FEATURES: Accidental (?) hand brushing, lots of spilled drinks and burnt fingers, and maybe some little affectionate running the other person's hand under cool water :>>
For Day 5 I got two different fic ideas based on two different prompts, but the one I'm gonna work on first I think will be Possessive Behavior!
Wednesday had finally accepted Tyler as her boyfriend, but apparently being her boyfriend came with very interesting side effects. Particularly, from Hyde.
ALSO FEATURES: Tyler trying desperately to not act like a crazy person while Hyde literally couldn't care less, jealous Hyde, and Wednesday just wanting to finish her homework
For Day 6, the prompt I decided to do was black dahlias!
There was a single black dahlia lying in the corner of the buffet table of the cafeteria.
ALSO FEATURES: Tyler being such a dorky romantic, Wednesday actually liking it, a boat, grenades, and fairy lights
For Day 7, I decided to do a mixture of hurt/comfort, memories and hands! (yes this might be a kind of painful fic)
Tyler's hands were covered in blood again.
ALSO FEATURES: Wednesday patching Tyler up, sad Tyler, and both of them finding comfort in each other (and maybe Donovan coming in to tell them there's food in the fridge)
And for Day 8, I decided to use a fic that I started a few days before I decided to join Weyler Week, currently titled Love Dust!
Tyler looked up from whatever he was preparing the moment Wednesday stepped in, his signature dopey grin plastered on his face as she sat at her usual booth.
“You're early,” Tyler observed, stepping out from behind the counter and leaning against it.
“I have a package that I need to pick up,” Wednesday responded.
Tyler furrowed his eyebrows. “Here? Hate to break it to you, Wednesday, but this isn't the post office.” Wednesday gave him a look. “They wouldn't deliver it to Nevermore directly, and the nearest post office is almost an hour away, so this was my only option.”
Tyler hummed. “Alright. Should I be… concerned about the contents of this package?”
Wednesday looked at him, her eyes glinting darkly enough that Tyler became concerned. Then she sighed. “Unfortunately not.”
ALSO FEATURES: Donovan losing years of his life because of these two, jealous Xavier, shipper Enid, Thing also being a shipper, and a lot of wholesome physical touch
And that is all :DDDD I really doubt I'll be able to post all these in time LOL but hopefully they'll be done before July 31 at the very least!!!! Weyler Week let's go!!!!

Could you do one where the reader is wicth ( powers like scarlet witch) her bff is enid and evetually Wednesday and she dates kent ( the siren they been dateing for 2yrs before Wednesday camw to nevermore
the rave'n, kent -synopsis: you and your boyfriend let enid and wednesday tag along to the rave'n with you -warnings: none, but this is really bad, i'm so sorry
"enid, honey, i'm sure he's just nervous. he really does like you, i'm sure of it!" currently, you, enid, and wednesday were sitting around their room. wednesday was typing away, working on her novel while trying desperately not to lash out at the loud atmosphere. you and enid both sat on the latter's bed talking about the rave'n and your dates.
"well he hasn't asked me and he doesn't appear to be making any effort to soon." enid pouts at the thought of ajax not asking her. she thought she had been obvious in her liking towards the boy, but he just hasn't seemed to pick up on it. "can't you like, mind read him or something? please?"
"enid." you sigh, giving your friend a pointed look. "that's an invasion of privacy."
"but it's an emergency!" enid begs, grabbing your hands with a little squeeze. "please? i'll love you forever."
"you know i don't like doing that to my friends. plus you'll already love me forever." enid sighs at your response, her head falling onto your shoulder as she moves to hug you. you hug back, resting your chin on top of the girl's head as you look across the room at wednesday.
"what about you, wednesday?" you ask, trying to ease enid's disappointment for the moment by redirecting the conversation's focus.
"i'm not going." the girl responds simply, her fingers still rapidly tapping the letters of her typewriter.
"you should though! it'll be fun." enid tries, moving out of your hold to face wednesday also.
"i would rather not bleed out from my ear amongst a crowd of yelling teenagers and horrid music blasting at a volume too loud to be legal." with a small grimace at the response, you turn to face enid who wore a matching expression.
"well, what about you and kent? you're still going together?"
"i would hope so. that would be like, what, two years gone to waste if he went with someone else?" you grin as enid flops backwards onto her bed in exasperation. "oh, come on. you can come with us. or we can find you another date."
"really?" she looks up at you hopefully, excited that she can still go.
"'course. c'mon."
that interaction had happened last week, and it was now the day before the rave'n. you still hadn't gotten yourself anything to wear and enid was a livid, pouting mess. you had dragged the poor girl with you to jericho to help you find something, all while she lectured your ear off about procrastinating something as big and important as this.
"it's not that big of a deal, enid. i could probably show up in normal clothes and no one would care." you huff, swinging the doors to the next shop on your list open.
"well you're not doing that, and now you're stuck with the leftovers of whatever wasn't already picked over." enid scrunches her nose at the lack of clothing in the shop before turning away to browse the racks. with a sigh, you turn in the opposite direction of the blonde, searching through the bare isles.
"what about this?" you ask holding up an obnoxiously bright, poofy, yellow dress. it was a joke, obviously, but enid didn't seem to find humor in the action. with a small glare, she shakes her head and goes around the rack to stand beside you, her arms full of various options, all white to go with the theme. "thanks, e."
"why couldn't you have brought kent instead of me?" enid questions as the two of you walk to the dressing rooms. it wasn't rude, she was simply curious.
"because as much as i love him, he would get distracted too easily. plus, you have a better fashion sense than he does." you shrug. "also, you were the only one available."
"i wonder why that could be." enid frowns as you duck behind the curtain of the changing room to try on the outfits. after multiple changes and re-tries, you settled on the cheapest option. enid frowned at your reasoning, but it did look the best out of all options anyway.
thankfully, enid was much more lighthearted on the trek back to nevermore, eagerly talking you ear off about how she wouldn't sleep that night because she was so excited.
"oh, by the way, i finally convinced wednesday to go!" was the last thing the blonde girl said to you before shutting the door of her dorm, leaving you to walk back down the hallway to your own.
thirty minutes before the dance began, you had rushed to enid and wednesday's room to help them with last minute additions to their looks. you would have gone earlier, but you had been texting kent, devising a plan that would soon be put into action, hence, why you were rushing to your best friends' dorm so quickly.
"you guys about done?" you eyed the two's dresses with a smile as you shut the door behind you.
"unfortunately." wednesday glares down at the dress circling her feet.
"come on, don't be like that. it's only a few hours of your life." enid glances back through the mirror at her friend before continuing to apply her lipstick.
"a few tortuous hours." much to both yours and enid's delight, a knock at the door cut of the brewing argument wednesday was about to spew.
"why don't you get that enid." you say, sitting on the edge of said girl's bed as she sets down her lipstick and goes to open the door.
"ajax?"
"surprise!" kent smiles widely, standing behind ajax who holds out a bouquet of pink, purple, and yellow flowers. both were dressed for the dance and enid looks back to you, wearing a wide grin that put little lines in her freshly applied lipstick.
"i know this is kinda- i mean really late, but, do you wanna maybe go to the dance with me?" ajax shifts nervously on his feet, eyes angled down and his grip firm on the stems of the flowers he held.
"yes!" enid squeals excitedly, gently taking the flowers from the other boy's grasp and turning to set them on her dresser. while you went to greet your boyfriend, wednesday, who had been watching the entire interaction weaved her way between the crown outside the door, muttering to you that she'd meet you at the end of the hall.
the dance went smoothly from there, enid and ajax finally getting to go together. you danced with all your friends and kent until the end of the dance, adrenaline from the night slowly leaving the sweaty bodies of the teens swarming the courtyard to go back to their dorms. enid had gone for a walk with ajax and wednesday had left early, leaving you and kent to walk back to your dorms.
"i'm glad we finally got ajax and enid together." kent tells you, eyes looking up at the sky rather than where he was going, causing him to have almost ran into a pillar, had you not pulled him back in time.
"me too." you laugh as he straightens himself up again and you both continue to walk. "i guess enid was right about reading someone's mind for once. it certainly saved us all the sight of seeing ajax go with who he was planning to since he though enid would've said no to him."
"oh yeah, that would've been the end of the world for sure."

valentine's day hc
Steve calls Eddie pretty all the time. Every chance when they're alone Steve will gently pull Eddie's hair and comment on how such a pretty boy has such beautiful hair. Eddie will tell a story and Steve will sit and listen properly and they'll drink and eat greasy food and fall asleep watching the sunset. They get in trouble for loitering, but the drive home giggling about it makes it so worth it.
______
Venom impatiently waits for Eddie to make them chocolates and cakes. Hovering over the exasperated human and growling for him to hurry up. Eddie just shakes his head and smiles. He finishes pretty quickly and venom helps carry the small mountain of sweets to the couch. They diver under the blankets, apartment still chilly, and cuddle up and keep each other warm and safe and together while they enjoy their headspace. Then when they're done and ready for a good fight, they'll terrorize the criminal underground. A perfect day for a perfect symbiosis.
______
Wednesday doesn't much care for Valentine's day. Enid absolutely does. She'll be extra quiet to make sure Wednesday gets a good night's sleep. Well as good as she can get. Enid will kiss her cheek when she's up and ready for human interaction. Then they'll eat and listen to music before Wednesday plays something almost gentle and soft and they'll fall asleep listening to true crimes podcasts while Wednesday tells Enid how she'd get away with each crime. Enid adores it.
______
Evey didn't know what Valentines day was. Or why V took such offense to her confusion. He had made her a breakfast, enough to make an emperor jealous, and played his sweetest music. He asked her to be his Valentine's and when she said sure, quite confused, he realized what he had to do. He told her stories about different deities and people and how different cultures used to celebrate the holidays. Then they danced and watched horrible rom coms and fell asleep with Evey's head on his shoulder. It was the best sleep they'd had gotten in a long time.
______
Soap and Ghost don't really celebrate Valentine's. Whenever they got back to base or now when they snuck in to safe houses with what ever they could grab, it was cause for a mini celebration. One night Johnny was able to grab a whiskey bottle only kind of half full and a glass. It wasn't full of romance and promises they knew they couldn't keep, but it was special to them. A moment of quiet enjoying their favorite company. And if there was sloppy drunk make outs no one was the wiser.
I kind of want to make more V for Vendetta stuff. I love Evey she is best girl

Vulture!Wednesday AU Part - 8
Enid paced around their 6 feet by 8 feet cell in Jericho's police department, glancing worriedly at the sleeping officer at the desk. "This is bad, this is bad, this is bad," she muttered.
"There's no need to be afraid, Enid," Wednesday reassured her from the only available seat.
"You're only gonna get tired," Wednesday continued calmly.
"Do you have any idea what we just did?" Enid stopped and stared at her, frustration evident in her eyes.
"I believe you mean what I did," Wednesday replied, confidence in her voice. "You merely came to my defense. A noble gesture, but pointless."
"Pointless? The guy was about to knock your head off!" Enid retorted.
"Rest assured, a simple punch wouldn't even register on my pain scale," Wednesday said with assurance.
"You're unbelievable," Enid shook her head and sat down, feeling defeated.
"You worry too much; once I get my phone call, I'll simply contact my father and have him release us. There won't be any blemish on your records nor need for your parents to know," Wednesday said.
"You think that's what I'm worried about?" Enid replied, exasperated.
"It is not?" Wednesday tilted her head, curious.
"No, I mean yes, of course, I don't want my mum to find out!"
"Then I don't see what the problem is," Wednesday shrugged.
"The problem is we inj-" Wednesday covered her mouth, gesturing at the 'sleeping' officer.
Enid turned to see the deputy rise to his feet; he gave Wednesday a mean look before exiting the room.
"How did you know?" She asked, removing Wednesday's hand from her mouth.
"You didn't?" Wednesday asked surprised. "I thought you were too caught in the moment and forgot about it."
Enid sighed and buried her head in her hands.
"Why do you think what I did is so bad?" Wednesday asked gently.
"It didn't have to go that way, you didn't have to hurt them like that," Enid replied, showing her emotions.
"So it's a matter of the extent, not the motive," Wednesday summarized.
"I could've scared them away," Enid turned to face Wednesday.
"Enid, as impressive as you are, those fools would've only understood who they were against after you had displayed your abilities. Until you spoke, they were there simply to hurt Tyler, you were an unexpected bonus," Wednesday explained.
"And breaking bones is different how?"
"Anyone can break a bone with enough motivation. Had you used your claws, you'd outed yourself as a 'non-human' entity. In that case, you would have become the villain in the eyes of the Normies, regardless of your lack of guilt," Wednesday replied.
"I don't need you to enlighten me about my own kind, Wednesday. I'm fully aware," Enid retorted, her tone filled with anger. "I still could've made them leave."
"They were there to provoke pain, Enid. Your involvement or mine wouldn't have made a difference. Whatever guilt you might feel is unwarranted."
"And how are you so sure?"
Wednesday studied Enid's face for a moment before speaking. "It was the week after Halloween. I was six years old. I took my pet scorpion, Nero, out for his afternoon stroll, and we were ambushed. A trio of bullies, not unlike the ones we faced today. They made me watch as they ran over him, over and over again, until he died."
"Oh, I'm, I'm sorry, Wednesday," Enid replied, shocked. Her tone became softer. "But what does it have to do with those three?"
"I learned two things from my encounter: One, tears don't fix anything, so I stopped wasting my time. Two, while there are certainly darker and greater kinds of evil, it's most common it remains the same: they hurt because they can. Age, race, economic position, it doesn't matter. They can, so they do, and they do so under the assumption that their action would bear no consequence. Only by being the consequence do they understand we aren't to be trifled with."
"So you're the consequence, screw the rules and it's fine if you get hurt." Enid deadpanned.
"If the alternative is to be a victim, yes." Wednesday replied. "But just to be clear, they are the ones who break the rules, their social constructs. I didn't go looking for them, they went looking for Tyler and then you got in the way. And again, don't worry about me being hurt, it doesn't happen."
"So why do all that for me? And what do you mean you don't get hurt?" Enid asked, her face showing a mixture of doubt and intrigue.
Wednesday found herself at a loss for a proper answer. Because I saw you die? Because I know what the inside of your chest cavity looks like? Nobody would ever accuse her of having bedside manners or empathy, yet it seemed wrong to shatter Enid's future in such a manner. So she decided to shift the conversation.
"That's the first lie you've ever told me." She observed, noting the surprise in Enid's widening eyes.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Enid replied, attempting to keep her cheeks from blushing.
"And there's the second." Wednesday almost smiled. "You're many things, Enid. A liar isn't one of them, but curious is. You must've asked Yoko the moment I left the club the first time we met. That, along with what the nurse told the group, must've been enough of a clue. Only an Addams can kill an Addams – the blunt force was a joke on her part."
"Yes, I asked Yoko." Enid admitted. "Your family is... famous."
"So you know." Wednesday shrugged. "Like I said: noble yet pointless."
"Oh, come on." Enid huffed as she stood, staring down at Wednesday.
"What?"
"You know what!"
"I assure you I don't."
"You're gonna tell me all those stories, ALL of them, are real?" Enid crossed her arms.
"Your skepticism is understandable. Word of mouth tends to distort the truth, yet its core remains the same. We accomplish our goals and don't die at the hands of our enemies." Wednesday replied.
"So you're essentially immortal, is that it?"
"Last summer, my uncle Fester was thrown into a woodchipper while he camped by a lake." Enid's eyes widened, and she immediately clamped her hand over her mouth. "A case of mistaken identity, it happens more often than you'd think. He called it the most relaxing massage he ever had. Had I not been so occupied with a... project, I'd have gone through the same thing myself. As for the immortal part, no. We can die, just not at the hands of our enemies. Some family members often buried themselves alive."
"Why!?" Enid asked, shocked.
"Because there's nothing more to do, nothing to keep them interested. So, every year they get to return for Dia de los Muertos and partake in whichever activity they deem interesting. Or if we're having a ball, some family members are known for never missing a party."
Enid sat back, impressed.
"And what about the other stuff?" She finally asked. Wednesday leaned over and whispered into her ear.
"My earliest ancestor, Mamoud Khali Pasha Ādam, stole the entire contents of the Library of Alexandria, burned its foundation to cover their tracks and let the Romans take the blame."
"You're making that up." Enid whispered, shocked.
"We still possess the scrolls and books," Wednesday's voice hushed, and the werewolf was captivated by her words. "A séance could be organized, giving you the chance to meet him in the spirit."
The creaking doors brought respite, as the tension gradually faded away. A man dressed in a scruffy, well-worn sheriff uniform entered, projecting an air of unwavering authority through every step he took. Wednesday saw he had blue eyes and gray hair. A few shots of color here and there told her it had been brown in his youth.
"As the saying goes, 'like father, like son'... or daughter," The sheriff said, his eyes staring into Wednesday's.
"If your next statement isn't 'You can have your phone call,' this conversation is over," Wednesday retorted.
"You have no idea just how lucky you are." The sheriff replied, standing one step away from the cell.
"Sheriff, I assure you, this is all a misunderstanding," Enid pleaded, her words rushing out in a desperate attempt to explain. But the sheriff silenced her with a simple gesture, cutting her off mid-sentence.
"We have enough evidence as it is," the sheriff replied firmly. Wednesday noticed Enid shrinking with fear at the man's words. With each passing moment, Wednesday's dislike for the sheriff grew stronger.
"The girl who called the police and her two friends just finished their statements. Not to mention the video that's been circulating online, and the fact that your three 'victims' all have a record. You can go."
The man opened the cell door, and Enid hurriedly made her way to the exit. However, when Wednesday attempted to follow, the sheriff stepped in her path, blocking her exit. Their eyes met in a slow, tense gaze.
"You helped my boy." The sheriff said in a threatening tone. "That's the only reason I don't put you in the trunk of my car, drive you to the city limits and kick you out. So you better behave because next time you don't get any sympathy."
"As long as the others don't endanger my well-being, consider this our final interaction," Wednesday stated.
The sheriff's eyes narrowed, but he didn't say anything more. Instead, he stepped aside, allowing Wednesday to leave the cell. She walked out with her head held high, not showing any sign of fear or intimidation.
Wednesday made her way to reclaim her items, confident that no one other than her would find her hidden knives. Enid was already there, filling out the form as fast as her wrist could manage. Wednesday, on the other hand, filled out the form with the ease of someone who had done it many times before, learning how to avoid capture.
As they waited for the clerk to retrieve their items, an uncomfortable silence enveloped them. Enid couldn't contain her worry and finally broke the silence, her voice trembling, "What did he say? Are we free to go?"
"We are," Wednesday replied calmly, "but he made it clear that it's because I helped his son."
"Tyler?" Enid responded, clearly surprised.
"I take it you didn't know, then?"
"No, he never said anything to anyone, at least not to me or Yoko."
"It doesn't matter; his motives are his own. However, he warned me not to cause any trouble in his town, or there won't be any leniency next time," Wednesday explained.
"Well, that's a good thing because there won't be a next time, right?" Enid asked hopefully.
"It all depends. Are you going to put yourself in danger again?" Wednesday replied, her tone serious.
"Wednesday, I'm serious. We got lucky this time. If Weems hears about this..."
"I already have." Weems' icy voice sounded from the side.
Startled, the pair turned to see the headmaster in a white suit along with a long white coat. Behind her stood Yoko, wearing a guilty smile.
"I can explain." Enid said, panicking.
"Miss Tanaka, please take Miss Sinclair back to the academy, there's an alley nearby that you can use." Weems ordered Yoko, her eyes glued on Wednesday. "Miss Addams, with me."
Enid gave Wednesday a concerned look before sprinting to her friend. The pair left without saying a word.
Weem, on her part, had pivoted and started striding towards a sleek, modern car painted in silver. Without a moment's hesitation, she hopped inside, leaving Wednesday to catch up on her own.
As Wednesday neared the vehicle, the air was filled with the sound of hundreds of tiny wings flapping together. She turned to witness a swarm of bats taking flight into the sky. Amidst the flurry, Enid's form could barely be discerned, ascending into the darkened heavens.
Weem's engine roared but Wednesday ignored it. She followed the swarm as it lost in the distance on its way to Nevermore. Only then did she enter the car.
"Do you know where the Weathervane is or do you need directions?" Wednesday asked while she put on the seatbelt.
Weems drove in silence in the general direction of the coffee shop. Wednesday remained calm, seeing Weem's arms tense up, her grip on the steering wheel hardening to the point she could hear it squearm.
"You have no idea the damage you've caused, Wednesday." Weems whispered, furious. "No idea at all."
"The sheriff might disagree with you. In his eyes at least, I prevented his son from being attacked by a pack of miscreants. Why does a city need a sheriff anyway?" Wednesday replied.
"The sheriff's position in Jericho is one inherited from its days as a small town," Weems clarified, her features stoically composed. "Back then, Jericho was situated in the middle of nowhere, struggling financially year after year. It was a place in desperate need of an infusion of cash and, in turn, willing to turn a blind eye to certain matters. It provided an opportunity for Outcasts to rise to positions of power, granting them a foothold without upsetting the Normies. This delicate balance persisted for years, until a millionaire decided to invest in development, disrupting everything we had painstakingly achieved after enduring years of persecution."
" Needler Development." Wednesday said and Weems nodded.
"We're running out of cities in this country where our kind can find solace, and now this one will be lost to us too. Unless, of course, we manage to adapt with the changing times. To demonstrate camaraderie and work alongside the Normies," Weems said, her voice rising with conviction. "That doesn't mean attacking or insulting them."
"Would you have preferred if I did nothing and allowed them to assault one of their own and an Outcast too?" Wednesday retorted, her voice laced with sarcasm.
Weems parked the car near the coffee shop.
"Wednesday, I understand it might be challenging for someone with an Addams' perspective, but try to see it from the same angle as the rest of us. Yes, we managed to acquire some buildings from the old town, but the city now belongs to Needler Development, giving them the legal right to ban us from entering their stores and using their services. We're on the verge of being expelled, of losing everything our ancestors fought so hard to create for us. The castle itself was built on land taken by one of your ancestors. All of it will vanish if we're not careful."
"So, your solution is for us to behave like good little Outcasts, harmless to the Normies. Perhaps you'd rather we perform a trick or two at parties and celebrations?" Wednesday accused bitterly. "It won't work; you can't expect us to guide our every action by some impossible code while smiling and enduring everything the Normies throw at us."
"You're young, and you have yet to see the world and what it has to offer us," Weems replied. "For them, we are the monsters of old. Centuries of stories have painted us as prey, encouraging them to hunt us down and kill us. Now these new 'Enhanced' individuals are emerging like heroes of old, and sooner or later, they'll set their sights on us. It's already begun in some places. The world is about to become even smaller than it already was, and no one, not even an Addams, will survive it. You were lucky this time; Miss Tanaka was able to alter the video she took with her cellphone, but it won't always be this way. Consider this your only warning, Wednesday."
With those words, Weems took off, leaving Wednesday to contemplate the uncertain future before her.

Wyclair visiting the pack but Enid only told her family she's dating Tyler.
It was agonizing figuring out which one to tell her family about because it's either watch one get harrassed for being gay or be harrassed for being Tyler.
Ended up flipping a coin.
She's dating Tyler. The idea was not to overwhelm the pack and get them used to one at a time.
Wednesday and Tyler still screw like rabbits thry just sneak around.
They are caught. Obviously. Enid is beyond exasperated.
They may have promised not to screw like rabbits in the woods. These aren't Jericho woods. They will be caught.
The "I told you so" of it all.
The protecting Tyler from six very angry brothers who think Tyler is cheating on Enid w her best friend.

Enid: *staring longingly at Wyler across the quad* I’m not in love with Tyler and Wednesday.
Esther: Your eyes are nowhere near mine.
