Going purely by the length I estimated for it, it has to be The Catalyst. Even if I was just doing MCU it would take quite some time, but no, I have to be all "Develop the characters, bring in the comics and original story arcs" and extend the story by like three to four times. Honestly, I expect to keep writing that story in 2026, maybe even 2027, so that has to be the wip I'd choose.

And 2. if you could sit down and finish any completely new fic without anything stopping you (time, tiredness, etc), what would you write? tell us about it if you want!

So, a bit of backstory for my prior fanfic writing experience. I used to write OC fics, and my main one was a One Piece story with OC included into the story, basically what I'm doing with Reader character now, only worse. One day I will start One Piece x Reader story, and I will finish it even if I end up posting one chapter a month all the way in 2050 🤣 So, the answer to this is the One Piece story.

So, number 8. What part of [insert fic] is your favorite? In this case Lost.

This is actually an easy one. It's the final five chapters. They were fun to write, there was some angst, plenty of fluff, enough action, and I'm a sucker for that happy ending, especially the last two chapters. I've completed other stories, sure, and they were all happy endings, but Love Song Requiem, Darkest Part and Genius just end with the movie plot, I haven't really explored the happy life that comes afterwards in those stories.

The ending of Lost, to me at least, has this 'yeah, everything is fine now and it will stay fine' feel to it, so it really has to be the last five chapters, or if you want to narrow it down even more the last two chapters.

In chapter 8, when Wednesday went grave digging and they got arrested. Here's the scene for those who want a quick refresher without looking for it in the chapter.

Well, at least she already opened the coffin before you showed up. “Right,” you frowned and stepped down, inspecting the coffin. “If you want me to, I think I can magnetize it and pull it out. Maybe. I never tried to do it with anything this heavy,” and just as you reached down bright light shined on all three of you. “Either the ground swallows me right now, or dad will ground me for the rest of my life,” you just raised your hands in surrender as police arrived. “There’s a hole right here,” Wednesday suggested. “I’m not sharing unless it’s with you, Addams,” you deadpanned, missing the way Wednesday’s eyes widened, and the way her breath hitched, and the way her cheeks darkened just a bit.

As for the question.

Is there an au or trope that you haven't written before, but would want to try?

As far as tropes go, no, not really, I don't think I consciously choose tropes, well, other than that time where I chose sort of enemies to lovers for Darkest Part (but even then that was more like annoyances to lovers than enemies to lover 😅🤣)

As for an AU, that's a different story. I'd honestly love to do some light hearted AU, like university or something like that where the biggest problem is getting everyone to do their part in a group project and not, you know, life or death situations that tend to happen in stories I write. That might be a fun one-shot, maybe for Tara and core 4, but I do feel like Tara is kind of dominating my page so I might do it for something else, maybe Arcane, or One Piece (that one feels like it would be so chaotic)

Other than that I'd love to try medieval or post-apocalypse AU, but I haven't really found a cast of characters that I'd love to do a multi-chapter story in an entirely different setting. MCU might be the closest, but The Catalyst will probably be one of my longest stories and I don't need another really long MCU story.

SO!!! This is gonna be a *big* ask I'm sorry for it in advance.

Just finished the two episodes I was late on. My takes:

- Didn't really like the Bruno-Enid-Ajax stuff. I totally understand teenagers change real quick but ???? Don't know. Didn't sit right with me.

- I do like the whole point of Wednesday protecting Enid tho. Really cute.

- A few more Wednesday crazy smiles which I'm a sucker for

- Agnes gives me the creeps

- AMAZING SOUNDTRACK

- For SOME reason I loved all the crow scenes. Favorite part from miles away (I'm that simple apparently). Until the resolution of it of course, I think it was kinda lame.

Extra points for Billie Piper being in there. (I miss Rose Tyler every day). So, really good first half overall.

But anyways, what did you think about this season so far?

First of all, there's no need to apologize, I love long asks!

So, the first half. Look how they massacred our girl... I despise the situation they put Enid in, she blatantly cheats on Ajax, and that's just horrible. Now that I think about it it's not even a love triangle, it's one person cheating. I was actually happy when I saw hints that maybe, just maybe, they might be pushing him toward Bianca.

That being said... we might be able to get some headcanons out of that whole mess. I think you could argue that the main outcasts groups we've seen, werewolves, sirens, gorgons and vampires, don't often look outside of their groups for partners, hence the whole rats and squirrels conversation in season 1. And werewolves with the whole pack thing might be extra pressure there to date another werewolf. I mean, if Enid didn't wolf out she'd be rejected by them, imagine how accepting packs would be of someone who isn't a werewolf.

So, Enid, seeing as she always longed for the pack wants, more than anything, to fit in, and that includes dating a werewolf. Don't get me wrong, cheating on Ajax is still fucked up, and even if I'm right the show will not address it like that. They decided to blame it on him with that 'But I liked that girl' line in regards to Enid being insecure and thinking she won't fit it.

Anyway, enough about that. I love protective Wednesday, easily my favorite part. I do feel like Goody's book plot is a bit shaky, because I think Wednesday would have devoured that book within a week or two, let alone whole summer, and I firmly believe she would have made her own notes, but I'll let it slide.

With Agnes, I think that's the point, and she's easily the best new character we've got as far as I'm concerned. The soundtrack is incredible, and I loved the way they used the music. Bad moon rising and Zombie in particular.

The crows were awesome, and then came the reveal, and I actually had to go back and check if I really recognized Judy. I was sitting there going: Really? That's the big bad? The character who had one interaction with Wednesday, no foil, no relationship, no conflict, nothing, and she's the one who might try to kill Enid?

The only way this can really work for me is if it turns out this had nothing to do with Wednesday, it was all about Galpin's investigation, but Wednesday's reckless curiosity dragged her and Enid into the whole mess. And even then I'll have issues, because the only reason Wednesday is solving this mystery is to save Enid because of her vision. Which automatically ends the reckless curiosity debate because she got involved to save Enid, not to satisfy her curiosity.

If that turns out to be the plot, I think they should have made her go with Galpin right away, or say she'll consider it, something to imply she would have gotten involved even if she didn't have that vision. But, yeah, I'll wait for the second half to decide on that.

As for the chapter, I'll keep it brief since this answer is already really long 😅

I'm really glad you loved it so much, I really struggled with the kiss scene, so I'm glad everyone seems to like it so much. Oh, there will be suffering, that's for sure 😅🤣
