O! Steve gets the idea that in order to accumulate as much luck as possible him and Eddie shouldnt see each other at all the week before the wedding. They plan to immediately try for pups after the nuptials so Steve really wants to make sure that they have all the good fortune they can get. Eddie absolutely hates the idea but he loves his omega and wants to make him happy. To say it was hard was an understatement. They were both miserable and making everyone around them that way too. It takes two days for everyone to get sick of the unnecessary angst, and come together to hatch a plan to get Steve and Eddie to accidentally run into each other. They hope the two will realize how foolish they were being and end it. They do. Steve and Eddie find out later on that Steve had actually been pregnant the whole time so there was no reason to separate at all. They smartly choose not to inform their loved ones of this fact because they are already on thin ice.

Han and Leia's Wedding
My Headcanons x Hungarian Wedding Traditions
Tumblr media
Han/Leia Appreciation Week 2024
Day One: Tradition / Ceremony
For @hanleiacelebration
Since I'm a big fan of weddings, of course I spent a lot of time thinking about what would Han and Leia's wedding be like.
As a passionate royal watcher and a big lover of Hungarian traditions, I just had to mash up aspects of these. This also means that I was able to combine today's two promts.
That tiara is the Cartier Halo Tiara, my absolute favourite. I just love to imagine that Han gets made a replica of Leia's birthday tiara given by her parents after hearing the tradition that Alderaanian royal brides wore a tiara from their family.
And yes, I'm a basic girlie, and my favourite wedding dress is Carherine Middleton's, but hey, own it! I feel like it's regal enough for the last Princess of Alderaan at her wedding that is the first big celebration of the new, free galaxy, bit still laidback enough for a sadly no longer big royal wedding and a bride who wants a more simple, personal occasion.
The bread tearing! My favourite Hungarian wedding tradition is where the couple grabs the two ends of a circle shaped 'kalács' and tears it to see who will be the 'boss' in the marriage. Of course for Han and Leia the two pieces are the exact same size!
A Hungarian wedding is a huge party until dawn, and to signal at midnight that the day of the wedding passed, and the groom and bride is now the 'new husband and wife', they change into red clothes. They are also for sale now, at least a dance with them, time to get back the price of the wedding😉 (And if you find the picture familiar, it's from Palvin Barbi and Dylan Sprouse's very fun and very Hungarian wedding!)
The bride sometimes gets 'kidnapped', usually by the men in her family, and the groom has to find and 'free' her with cute, silly tasks. I imagine this to be a Corellian tradition, which is told by Wedge to Leia, who finds it hilarious, but Han firmly states that they won't do that, but the Rogues do it anyway lol. Leia has a fun time, especially when Han completes the task in a very romantic manner. Bonus, the picture I chose for this is also good for simply aesthetic purposes.
I hope you enjoyed this silly little moodboard with my commentary! 😊

Court of Darkness: Wedding Headcannons
Tumblr media
Description: A few headcannons of the princes and their wedding days with their MC, including the ceremonies, vows, and various traditions they follow and why.
Princes: Guy, Lynt, Toa
Word Count: ~1700
Guy
Tumblr media
Only the most lavish decorations adorn the altar and the church. It’s not as if Guy WANTS this day to be ostentatious—in fact, the pomp and circumstance rather annoy him.
Every floral arrangement, every centerpiece, every bottle of rare wine poured is a demonstration of the value Guy has for MC. Absolute power move on Guy's part to protect MC.
The largest church in Saligia is not spacious enough to hold everyone. Avari nobles, foreign dignitaries, and numerous diplomats spew into hallways and crowd windows outside trying to catch a glimpse of the momentous event. And right now, they see a visibly angry prince at the altar.
"Nervous sir?" Jasper smiles serenely.
Guy glares at his wristwatch. A perfectly polished black shoe taps impatiently. 30 seconds late. One minute late. Guy’s hand balls into a fist at his side. “I cannot stand this.”
Guy’s younger brothers stand nearby. “Perhaps MC got cold feet! Maybe you should have given her some of prince Lynt’s socks—” Zev’s voice is cut off as the church door opens and MC walks down the aisle.
“She’s beautiful.” Aquia tries to soothe Guy’s jitters. Besides a stylish wedding gown, MC wears a crown adorned with rubies shining as brightly as her eyes. She walks towards the altar with dignity, a soft but confident smile on her face. Aquia frowns when he looks at his wristwatch. “She’s right on time Guy.”
Guy scowls at Jasper. “YOU gave me this watch. An early wedding present you claimed.”
“Oh, the watch was not properly synced. My apologies.” Jasper looks anything but apologetic. “But your heart flutters more sweetly for MC, doesn’t it?”
Guy returns his gaze towards MC. His eyes now glow tenderly.
Guy and MC exchange wedding rings—ancient royal heirlooms--embedded with diamonds and rubies. Guy makes a slight modification to the rings—the rubies are spelled to glow brightly to detect nearby poison. This was done after an assassination attempt on MC less than a month before the wedding.  Guy and MC write their own vows (Guy receives help from Jasper and Roy to ensure they would be received well by MC).
"You are tenacious. Powerful. Loyal. My priceless jewel. I vow to protect you and our future.” Guy pauses for dramatic effect, particularly at a few noble families who have implied their daughters would be viable candidates for secondary wives. “I will have no other queen or wife beyond you—no matter the cost.”
Towards the end of the ceremony, the priest asks “Are there any objections—”
Guy and MC: “None.”
Priest: “I…was not asking your majesties. I was asking the audience if they—”
Guy: “Even if they object, it does not matter. MC will be their queen. Just as she is mine.” Guy scans the crowd, daring them to contradict him.
After the ceremony, Guy spends the bare minimal time required with the throngs of people wanting to curry his favor.
“Guy! What about my luggage?” MC asks as Guy carries her in his arms and makes his way towards a private Avari royal villa for their extended honeymoon.
“Luggage is unnecessary.” A smirk forms on Guy’s face.
“But I’ll need a change of clothes—”
“Clothes are not required. A hinderance, if anything.”
Lynt
Tumblr media
In terms of ceremony specifics, Lynt goes along with whatever his parents and various Akedian court advisors suggest. With one caveat.
“Whatever is planned, it must make MC happy.”
“What of your preferences Lynt?”
“Her happiness is my happiness. That is all that matters.” Lynt walks away, having said his peace. He only interjects with planning when MC’s wishes are not being considered.
The ceremony is held in the Akedian castle courtyard. White petals from an Akedian Olive tree float in the air. The petals swirl in the breeze, surrounding Lynt. A few blossoms land in the prince’s hair in a makeshift halo.  It is a neck-to-neck competition as to who is crying more happy tears before the ceremony—Queen Norah or Tino.
“Master Lynt is so happy!”
“I know Tino.” Queen Norah sniffles. “Our boy has really grown up.”
“Our boy? I-I would not presume to—”
“You have been with him since childhood Tino. He is such a dear boy thanks to your tender care. He’s as much yours as mine.”
Cue more happy crying.
King Liam proudly walks MC down the aisle. She looks ethereal in a gauzy, flowing white dress with light green accents. A few petals from Lynt’s hair float and land on MC. The crowd gasps as Lynt’s eyes pop open and he suddenly walks to the center of the aisle to meet MC and his father.
“Lynt my boy, what is it?”
Lynt removes his father’s arm from MC’s grasp, replacing it with his. “I am to be with MC for life. Let me be with her.”
King Liam laughs quietly. “I leave my son in your capable hands MC.”
Aaaaaaaaand Tino is now sobbing louder.
Beyond Queen Norah and Tino, more than a few people have tears in their eyes as Lynt and MC recite their vows. Lynt's vows are based on ancient Akedian marriage vows per his book 2 ending.
Lynt: I will grant you and our kingdom everlasting peace. The greatest joy will be the love we share together. Underneath the green among us, I pledge to give the days of my life to you and you alone.
MC: We will overcome anything as long as we have each other. I pledge my heart unto you, my prince, my lover, my friend.
After the ceremony, there is one request King Liam and Queen Norah have for Lynt and MC during their honeymoon.
No, it’s not for grandbabies. Though, they wouldn’t mind if that happened of course…
It’s to test out various bedding. No, really.
In celebration of the newlywed couple, MANY Akedian shops have produced limited time honeymoon themed bed linens, manufactured to be extra soft, comforting, and luxurious. So Lynt and MC try out a new set of bed sheets every night of their honeymoon, one from a different shop per night.
Lynt has never been more dedicated towards a project. Zzzzzzzzzz.
Toa
Tumblr media
Most Qelsan nobles are wary of MC, believing she is Avarian. However, since King Gilbert publicly approves the match (since he knows of her power), they do not openly object.  MC goes out of her way to integrate herself with the Qelsan people. She gets her wedding bouquet and dress from local vendors and works with local bakers to create the wedding cake and royal banquette. Quickly, MC becomes popular with the non-nobility for her thoughtfulness and open approach. Also, Toa is with her as she's working with various merchants, and they spread the word of the lovestruck looks he gives her.
Knight pulls off a miracle. He becomes the wedding planner instead of Toa’s sister Idina.
“It’s my wedding gift to you Toa.” Knight preens. Toa smiles at the strength of resolve Knights shows in making this happen. “It was either that or get you a cat!”
“Correct choice, Knight,” Toa deadpans. A subtle curve of his lips betrays his amusement though.
It’s Qelsum—there are SO. MANY. TRADITIONS.
Among those traditions is that the bride is not allowed to see the groom a day before the wedding. A few moments before Toa enters the grandiose royal church, Knight is straightening Toa’s tie. Absentmindedly, Toa’s fingers graze his pants pocket. He feels something not there the previous day.
Toa finds a piece of chocolate in the shape of a heart. With it is a note from MC. “Soon, love. Until we met again, may this treat satisfy you.”
Toa’s cheeks turn faintly red. He adores how MC gently pushes tradition while keeping him in her heart.
One tradition MC, with Toa’s support, gets rid of—the wedding ceremony is no longer closed to just top Qelsan nobility. The bakers, florists, and dressmakers that have helped her are allowed to witness the event.
Idina scoffs that MC’s lack of pedigree and soft heart are readily apparent. A few noble families are aghast but keep their disgruntlement to themselves as King Gilbert does not oppose it.
This move—though not premeditated by MC—solidifies MC as the people’s princess for Qelsum.
The wedding doubles as a royal procession—MC’s marriage to Toa certifies her as a princess and there are lots and lots of proclamations. Lots of scriptures to be read. The ceremony lasts for nearly two hours. At the 30-minute mark, MC gently grasps Toa’s hand and never lets go. As the wedding ceremony continues, Toa’s hand slowly becomes less frigid. When the officiant finally announces their union as husband and wife, Toa cups MC’s cheeks and kisses her, his hands the warmest they have ever been.
From this moment forward, Toa's fingers are never cold. The anxiety that manifests itself in frigid hands dissipates as Toa realizes MC and her love will be a permanent fixture in his life.
During the reception, Toa approaches a piano and starts playing. The song is from a well-known Qelsan opera about love thawing the cold heart of the protagonist.
To Toa’s shock, MC stands next to him and begins singing. She heard Toa practicing for weeks and wanted to surprise him. She sings along as a perfect counterpoint as her wedding gift to him.
When the pair end their duet, there is stunned silence. King Gilbert then steps closer and nods his head in subtle approval before leaving. The crowd bursts into applause.
When the last noble leaves the reception, Toa takes MC to his room and lays her on the bed. “I will dedicate my life to loving you. Always.”
MC: And I will bring sweetness to yours.

A Few Witchy Ways to Witch Up Your Wedding.
A Few Witchy Ways to Witch Up Your Wedding.
Are you a witch? Are you getting married? Do you want to honor your practice in your wedding with or without pissing off your extremely religious in-laws? Then please stay tuned!
There are many ways to incorporate your beliefs and practice into your wedding, and many ways to alter the ritual to either appease or hide it from those who may not agree with your practice. There are many cultural practices you can follow (just make sure you are researching closed practices and stick only to the ones you can follow), and many ways to include your gods and goddesses to your wedding with little to no speculation. Unless, you want people to know, then I will make sure to write about those as well.
Number One: A Handfastening.
What is a hand fastening? A hand fastening is when you intertwine three pieces of rope into a braid across your hand and your partner's hand. It is typically found in traditional Celtic Pagan weddings, however many religions are now adopting this practice to add it to their own weddings. It doesn't have to just be a Pagan wedding, as I have seen Christians do it and use God/Jesus as the center rope and themselves as the other two ropes. You may choose to use a deity you worship to be the center rope, you can simply dedicate the center rope as your life or your love for one another wrapping around the two of you. The possibilities are endless and it is an easy and very down-low practice to do. To add a little more magic to it, braid your own cords and add protection charms with your fiance. It not only makes the cord more meaningful, but it is a bonding experience and you get to put all the love and happiness you feel for each other into making it.
Number Two: Crystals.
Crystals are cool, they look like shiny rocks, and most people wouldn't look twice if there are a few crystals on the tables or in your flowers. I will be giving everyone in my bridal party selenite (to protect and cleanse) and rose quartz (to bring in love). This is a cute idea and you can even do a ritual before you go out to calm your nerves with quartz and amethyst.
Number Three: Veils
Veils were used in ancient times to confuse spirits and to protect the bride from spirits that wanted to take her. This is a very easy way to add a layer of magic to the wedding, as you can enchant the veil to repel negativity and harm. Also, veils are so widely used these days that people would be considered crazy if they questioned why you were wearing a veil.
Number Four: Set up a Wedding Altar
A wedding altar can be as simple as the table you set up for the guest to sign the guest book. Add pictures of you and your fiance, pictures of married couples in your family that have passed, crystals, candles, the works. People will simply think you have a very nicely decorated table for the guests. You can also add small tokens of your deities to the table to tie it into the over all theme or to just add a pop of color. I am having a slightly Tangled themed wedding so I will be adding little suns to the table for Apollo!
Number Five: Spell Satchels
You can make a small spell satchel to wear under your dress for protections and love. Rose petals, rose quartz, rosemary, bay leaves with intentions writen on them, and pink salt would be good to add. You can tie it to your garter (if wearing one/wearing a dress) or put it in your suit pocket. They are small enough to not even be noticed by others.
Number Six: Exchanging of Swords
The exchanging of swords was very big in Norse Weddings. To sum it up, the Groom and Bride exchange swords to vow to protect each other until and past death. Another wedding tradition is to gift the Bride with a kitten to promote protection and to help catch mice and rats. I, personally, don't think this practice should ever go away.
Number Seven: Go barefoot.
Connect to the Earth as you walk down the aisle. Feel the ground and let it center and ground you to the moment.
These are just a few ways you can connect your practice to your wedding. If this blows up enough, I may make a part two! I will also be starting reguluar updates about my own wedding and how I am witching it up! Stay tuned and drink water!

What kind of weird wedding traditions do you have?
In Swedish folklore and tradition you see a lot of wedding pillows. They’re usually heavily embroidered and have the initials of the couple and the year incorporated in the design. Instead of doing the really traditional thing this wedding pillow that I’ve made for my brother has a maritime theme. But it connects to medieval Swedish intarsia gilt leather embroidery as well as the later folklore stuff.
You cut out the pattern from both colours of wool, switch their places, and sew it back together. Then you cover the seams in gilt leather and embellish a little bit. Then you have a perfect mirror pattern in two colours and if you sew them together you get a pillow. Success!

I'm sorry but fantasy weddings just being standard white dresses, walk down the aisle is just so boring to me. Like come on, be extravagant! This isn't the modern world. Come up with some crazy wedding traditions! Put on some bright-colored dresses like red and gold!

“Klaus, put me down!”
“It’s tradition to carry your bride over the threshold, love,” said Klaus, grinning as he ran towards the house, careful not to let Caroline’s veil drag on the ground.
“When you're near the steps of the house, not the entire way from the wedding venue,” said Caroline, her tone half-exasperated and half-amused.
“Not in my world,” said Klaus, swinging her around, and she laughed, her eyes dancing with laughter.
“Klaus, people are going to see. They're going to think we’ve gone mad.”
“We got married,” said Klaus, and he couldn’t help but relish the words. “We’re married, Caroline. You're my wife.”
“I’m aware,” she laughed, kissing his cheek. “I was there.”
“Alright, we’ve reached the house now, now you don’t even have an excuse to tell me to put you down.”
“I suppose not,” she sighed, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him on the lips. “Carry me over the threshold, husband of mine.”
“As you wish, my love,” he grinned, and swung open the door, kicking off his shoes and slipping Caroline’s off, setting her down. He quickly grabbed her waist and drew her closer, kissing her with a fervour.
“Klaus,” she said, between kisses, “Nik—mm—listen—we have to—Klaus—”
“Later,” he muttered, his hands working at the pins securing the veil to her hair.
“Niklaus,” Caroline said, her voice breathy, “listen to me.”
“Tradition dictates I have a right to kiss my new wife after I carry her over the threshold,” he murmured, kissing her neck, and Caroline let out a soft laugh.
“You're never been one to stick to tradition, Nik,” she said, her breath hot on his neck. “But if you obviously want to listen to tradition, then I think you should hear one of the other wedding customs there are.”
“Alright, fuck tradition,” Klaus growled, setting her on the couch, ripping off the veil.
“Then you obviously don’t want to take off my garter now? With your teeth?”
Klaus pulled back, a light dancing in his eyes. “Well, if it’s tradition…” he drawled, and Caroline rolled her eyes.
“You're an idiot.”
They had mutually decided not to do the garter toss at the wedding (it’s stupid, Klaus, and I don’t want to accidentally flash any of our friends), and had instead decided to do it in their new house (even better, since I’ll get to finish what I started, don’t you agree, love?...Klaus.)
“Skirt up, love,” Klaus smirked, sinking down to his knees. “Since we’re so traditional.”
“Premarital sex is not traditional,” Caroline said, letting out a small gasp as he placed a kiss on her thigh as he looked up at her with dark, lustful eyes.
“I don’t recall hearing any objections,” Klaus replied, lazily snapping the band of the garter against the sensitive skin of her thigh, making her moan. “Lace, love?”
“As if it could be anything else,” Caroline gasped, winding her fingers into his curls when he snagged his teeth onto the lace band. “Just take it off, Klaus.”
“Beautiful thing, this,” Klaus murmured, lazily sliding the garter down to her knees. “Judging by the varieties I've seen, however...black lace. Last summer. Brighton. Shame it didn't go with your dress.”
“If you don’t behave and take it off you'll never see anything like it again.”
Klaus emerged from under her skirt, his hair thoroughly rumpled, a self-satisfied smirk on his face, the white lace garter between his teeth. “Now, I do believe I have a few…traditions…to adhere to.”
“Take me to bed,” Caroline murmured. “Now.”
“As the lady wishes.”

Hi 🌲
I couldn't stop thinking about Johanna and reader getting married. I think Johanna would randomly propose (so random she may propose after a nap).
At the wedding I imagine it would just be reader, Johanna, and their pets.
In the book, each district seems to have a wedding tradition, so I think in District 7, they may plant a tree to symbolize their growing love. Since they use rope to help climb trees, maybe they could tie a knot in a rope, with each of them holding an end to symbolize their trust in one another and how their lives are now intertwined.
And the next time she sends a letter to Finnick, Katniss, or Haymitch, she'll just attach a picture of her and reader in their wedding gowns with a note saying, "l got married, by the way"
I would love if you could do some headcanons or a one-shot about it, but even so, I wanted to share it with you because I couldn't stop thinking about it
this is going to be a ramble, soz, but i'll definitely add it to my list for a one shot idea.
words can't describe how much i love this idea, thank you so much for sharing it with me! honestly, i agree with everything you said, because i love the idea of johanna and you having a really private and intimate wedding, and the thought of her just mailing everyone a photo of the ceremony as a kind of, "oh yeah, by the way, here's what happening in my life recently." but in reality, honestly, i think the two of you would have your own private ceremony and then like, a nice little gathering with the remaining victors (and finnick because, he's definitely raising his son in district four, i don't know what everyone else is talking about. mutts? what mutts?). i just love the idea of their being like a first dance or something, and johanna and reader are gazing into each other's eyes so lovingly, and everyone's swooning over them (well just peeta and annie, i can't really see the others swooning over them, tbh). but if you and johanna want to, you'll have a quiet ceremony for just the two of you. either way, she doesn't mind. as long as she has you.
also, for the wedding tradition, that's literally so creative??? give me your brain please, because you have come up with some of the best prompts i've ever received, and now you've given me another banging one. i think that johanna wouldn't really be into that kind of stuff, she's not a very traditional kind of girl, but you'd be super into it so of course she'd pretend to love the idea as well. the tying of the rope kind of reminds me of the greek wedding crowns, where they're joined by a ribbon i think (idk much about greek weddings, tbh, i've only seen my big fat greek wedding and i remember that scene.) i think that's such a cute wedding tradition, and secretly johanna would love it because she's terrified of losing you, that physically tying you to her makes her feel comforted. the rope symbolises a lot more than just a union, it symbolises a connection that the two of you will always have.
for the tree idea, i think it would be one of those traditions where johanna would find it extremely corny, but because you find it endearing she doesn't say a single thing. she's on her knees, getting dirt under her fingernails with you just so she could plant this tree with you. if you needed a physical symbol of your growing love, then she'd give it to you, because you'd offered her more than she could ever repay you for. safety, comfort, contentment. you were home to her, and she wanted to show you how much she loved and trusted you in whatever way possible.
i can see wedding dresses going either way, tbh. you both wear one, or johanna wears a suit while you wear a dress, or vice versa. hell, i could even see one where you both wear suits. i don't think they'd be white though. white would remind johanna of snow and torture, so i could imagine like a red for her—purely because it would match her hair. and then for you, like a deep rich green, for the forest and the trees. (omg, i just realised those are christmas colours, but honestly, i don't think panem even has christmas, so it's just a bit of fun for us).
honestly, the wedding is set in the backyard, among nature. that's the vibe for the whole ceremony—people there or not. it's got a rustic, woodsy atmosphere and the two of you love it because it is just so, intrinsically, home. bonus points if johanna's saved the pinecones and all the stuff katniss got her in mockingjay, and made a little display with it.
as for the proposal (probably should have started off with this, lol, oh well), if it was by you, you'd have gone all out (not in a public way, but more of a romantic dinner or date way) and planned it to a 't'—and while johanna appreciates the effort and love you put into it, she'd love a more intimate proposal. and what's more intimate than when lying in bed together, watching the drool spill from your mouth as you snore slightly and take up most of the bed? she'd shake you awake and propose to you there, realising that she wanted to see that sight every morning when she woke up.

Wedding Traditions by District
District 12
Back home everything is so much simpler. A woman usually rents a white dress that’s been worn hundreds of times. The man wears something clean that’s not mining clothes. They fill out some forms at the Justice Building and are assigned a house. Family and friends gather for a meal or bit of cake, if it can be afforded. Even if it can’t, there’s always a traditional song we sing as the new couple crosses the threshold of their home. And we have our own little ceremony, where they make their first fire, toast a bit of bread, and share it. Maybe it’s old-fashioned, but no one really feels married in District 12 until after the toasting.
District 4
Dalton, the cattle guy from 10, conducts the ceremony, since it’s similar to the one used in his district. But there are unique touches of District 4. A net woven from long grass that covers the couple during their vows, the touching of each other’s lips with salt water, and the ancient wedding song, which likens marriage to a sea voyage.

Fraye Hill of House Lannister
Tumblr media
Previous Next
Chapter Nineteen
a/n: This chapter is very dark. I'm giving quick warnings for SA and emotional distress!!
Fraye sits in silence, watching her new husband eating. She doesn't touch her food. Instead, she sits, sulking. She knows the bedding ceremony will be soon and she's scared. She's only been with Sandor and he was loving. She knows he will hurt and use her. She stares off in the distrance, wishing Sandor would walk through the door and fight for her. She knows their plan is the best for them both. They'll both be more likely to make it out alive if they stick to it. But, she can at least dream. It's all she has now. Dreams and fantasies until she can reunite with him. She turns her head when she hears Joffrey speak. "Enough, enough! We've had a great feast and now we must honor Ser Gregor!", Joffrey smiles deviously, "We must commense with tradition!"
"Don't you think this is a bit much!", Tyrion practically begs. "Shut up imp! Or I'll cut out your tongue! It is her duty to consimate her marriage!", Joffrey yells. Everyone stands and cheers.
Fraye thinks of Jamie. She knows he'd try to help if he weren't locked away on Joffrey's orders.
Suddenly multiple men come up to her and grab her. She yells for them to let her go. They just laugh and lift her from her place. "She won't be needing those clothes, men! Take 'em off!", Joffrey grins. She starts to cry as they carry her to a room and rip at her clothes as they do so. "Please.", she whimpers. No one touches Gregor out of fear as he walks behind them. He's excited to break Fraye in. He knows she's been used by his brother but it only excites him more. The thought of him taking what his little brother thought was his. All the men scatter when Gregor walks inside the chambers. He sees Fraye laying on the bed, her clothes ripped off. She has a nice soft body. Nice curves and large breasts. No wonder his little brother wanted her. He starts pulling off his armor. He can hear her already whimpering from fear. It only excites him further. Completely undressed, he walks over to her. "Please.", she whispers, barely audible. "Pleading will get you nowhere. You don't belong to that dog anymore. Your mine and I'll do what I see fit to ya!", he growls, grabbing her by the neck. She cries out when he starts to pull her legs open. She pleades and begs but it's no use. He forces himself on her. She tries to fight back but he's unbelievably strong. She eventually forces her eyes close and gives in.
•○•◇•○•♡•○•◇•○•
Fraye doesn't sleep after. She fears she wont get much sleep. Especially with all the bruises on her from yesterday and tonight. After he finished, he growled in her ear about giving him a son. It's all she could think about. The fact that her love's brother could've given her a child. Not given but forced on her. She feels numb. The only thing that's keeping her from giving up completely is Sandor. She thinks about his loving embrace and how sweet he is with her. She'd give anything to be with him again. To feel his large arms hold her and tell her sweet things. She reaches for the necklace that has managed to stay on her neck. She's so glad it wasn't taken from her. She can feel more tears streaming down her face. She has no idea how much she's cried but she knows it's been enough to make her feel dehydrated. She manages to sit up in bed. Gregor didn't stay with her. He sleeps alone. She's glad that she at least doesn't have to lie with him at night. She rings a bell and maides come in. She sees Mel. Mel has been her handmaiden since she was small. She walks over to her, wrapping her in a blanket. "Poor dear.", she says, "I'm so sorry." "Just help me to a bath, please.", Fraye whispers. She helps Fraye up and into the bath once it's been drawn. Fraye whinces. The mountain used her so hard that she feels a horrid sting between her legs. Mel washes her gently. "I wish there was a way to get you out, My Lady.", Mel says. "I can handle it, Mel. I have to.", Fraye replies, giving her a small smile. "I saw him, earlier.", she whispers to her. "Who?", Fraye asks. "Hound." "How was he?!" "Very upset. I saw him beating his own hands bloody into the stable walls… He's always scared me, my lady." Fraye feels like she could cry again. Sandor isn't taking it well and she can feel her spirits breaking. "Is there anyway you could get a letter to him if I write it?", she whispers. "It's the least I can do for you, My lady." She helps Fraye finish her bath before helping her dress and get to a writing desk. My love, I won't tell you what happened on my wedding night because I am sure you can imagine it. I want you to know I am alive and my spirits are not broken. I can handle the mountain. When I leave for The Westernlands tomorrow, I will never see Kingslanding again. I'm glad of that. I would give anything for everything to stop. I'd give anything to trade your brother for you. I know you always say you are no good for me and I deserve better but that will always be false. You have never treated me the way I have been today. You treated me like glass and never caused a crack. I will use our plan to fuel me. I have faith in that. I hope you can keep sane during this awful period. I love you Sandor. , Your Fraye She seals the letter and hands it to Mel. "Please be careful.", Fraye tells her, "I swear to you that if Sandor can see this letter, I will not forget our kindness and I will be in your debt." "You owe me nothing, My lady. You have been through too much. I'm happy to be a kind person to you in this horrid hour.", Mel smiles at her. Fraye thanks her once more before Mell hides the letter in her bossom and leaves.

Mel walks cautiously through the halls, trying to draw no attention. She takes a sigh of relief as she makes it to The Hound's chambers. She knocks quietly. "Go away!", she hears him growl. "Read this.", she whispers, sliding the letter under the door before hurrying away. Sandor sets down his drink, noticing the letter that was slid under his chamber door. He has no idea who it is from. He stumbles over, picking it up. He rips it open, immediately recognizing the handwriting. His heart feels tight as he reads her words. He sees drops of water fall onto the parchment. That's when he realizes he's crying. Tears start to fall freely from his eyes and he screams. He knows his own brother raped her. Fraye is hurt and he just fucking sat on the floor and drank his sorrows! He slumps onto the floor once more, gripping the letter. He's never hurt Fraye and he finally realizes that they're made for each other. He realizes that they complete each other in ways he never thought possible. Now, she's been taken from him. He feels like he should've fled with her before her name day. He should've snuck her out and left. They could've hid and found work somewhere. They could've had everything. He feels his heart sinking more thinking about what could've been. He takes a deep breathing, knowing he will do everything in his power to get her back and make what could've been, their future will be.

7 Rules You Can Break on Your Wedding Day
Tumblr media
Each year, 2.5 million weddings take place in the United States alone. Many of these ceremonies share certain elements, thanks to wedding “rules” we’ve come to accept over the years. The bride wears a white gown. The couple stands at the altar with a group of their closest friends. Inevitably, the DJ will play Uptown Funk or the Chicken Dance. But here’s the thing: there are no hard and fast rules for putting on a wedding (except for signing the marriage license, of course). If you want to make your wedding a truly unique affair, here are a few traditions you can happily put aside.
Tumblr media
1. Wearing White
The white wedding dress was first popularized in 1840 when Queen Victoria wed Prince Albert. The young queen wore white because the color highlighted the lace details on her gown. However, the decision was a peculiar one at the time, as most brides wore brightly colored dresses for their weddings.
After Victoria, white wedding gowns became synonymous with purity—and more importantly, became the standard in bridal fashion. But it’s important to remember why Victoria selected the color: because she liked it! If you’d rather wear a red, blue, or black dress on your wedding day, you absolutely should.
2. Wedding Favors
Bring me 100 people who’ve been to a wedding, and I’ll show you 100 people who don’t care about the favors they received. Wedding favors are often cheap, meaningless gifts that sit in your guests’ purses until they eventually throw them out. Worst of all, buying these little trinkets can be quite expensive! There are plenty of better ways to spend the money in your wedding budget—and better ways to thank your guests for celebrating with you. Trust me, your guests will appreciate better food or more champagne rather than a customized Koozie.
Tumblr media
3. Not Seeing Your Spouse Until the Ceremony
On the morning of a wedding, there’s always much to-do over keeping the couple separate. After all, if they see each other before the ceremony starts, theirs will be a doomed marriage…right? Everyone knows how silly this idea is, but it’s a tradition we stick to all the same. While it can be lovely for guests to see that romantic “first look,” there’s nothing wrong with a couple spending every moment of their big day together. If you and your sweetheart want to do a first look photo shoot—or even get ready together in the morning—go for it!
4. Single-Sex Bridal Parties
Getting married is a major milestone in a person’s life, so it’s no wonder that most people want their friends to accompany them on the journey. Bridal parties can be a source of comfort and support, but for too long, they’ve stuck to one rule: brides can only choose women for their bridal party, and grooms can only choose men. Whatever pronouns your best friends may use, they have every right to be part of your bridal party. Don’t be afraid to have male “bridesmaids” or female “groomsmen”! As long as your best friends are at your side when you say, “I do,” tradition can take a hike.

5. The Bride’s and Groom’s “Sides”
When a bride and groom stand at the altar, the bride is always on the groom’s left side. As a result, it’s become custom for the bride’s family to sit on the left side of the venue, while the groom’s family sits on the right. However, once the newlyweds tie the knot, their families become connected by marriage. Everyone at the wedding is one big, happy family, so why not sit like it? Foregoing the traditional family “sides” makes it easier for your guests to mingle with your new in-laws.
6. The Home Goods Registry
For many decades, it was considered a rule to only list home goods on your wedding gift registry, like dinnerware or small appliances. This rule was primarily practical; the newlyweds were often starting adulthood on their wedding day, so they rarely had any household items between them. But these days, couples get married much later in life (and often co-habitate beforehand), so their registry needs have changed. Don’t be afraid to register for the items you and your spouse need. After all, the whole point of a registry is to advise your guests of the gifts that will be most useful!
Tumblr media
7. The Cocktail Hour Photo Session
The cocktail hour between the wedding ceremony and reception serves two purposes: it gives the guests a chance to mingle (and get warmed up for the party later), and it gives the bridal party a chance to have their photos taken. But if you ask me, this is another rule that needs to be broken.
Newlyweds used to take their photos after the ceremony to avoid seeing each other before the wedding—another rule we’ve already pooh-poohed. And besides, what couple would want to miss out on cocktails with their nearest and dearest? By moving around the photo schedule, a couple can spend much more time with their guests.
Of course, if you want to stick with these traditional wedding rules, that’s your prerogative. But if these rules don’t sit right with your sensibilities, feel free to push them aside! It’s one way to make your wedding feel a little more like you and your spouse.
