this may come off as mean but i need to get it out. after all the interviews i 100% believe this all comes back to oliver and by extension tim. i dont know if it was oliver not wanting to share the spotlight with lou or he thought the bi storyline was going to be a quick 3 episode arc and back to girls. all the interviews both stuff spoken/unspoken parts point to him being the problem. tim is known for letting the cast run wild so wedding crasher character here we come. hope the show has a major ratings fallout, tired and so so so angry.
it is 100% oliver and tim, oliver fucking told us that, that he's been campaigning for them to break up. I don't know the reason and I don't care, his biphobic interview was enough for me to write him off forever. he really is a selfish little worm who doesn't care about anyone but himself

Abi Morgan's hit legal drama The Split returns for a two-part special
Toby Stephens lines up as hot-shot family lawyer Archie Moore, alongside Nicola Walker, Stephen Mangan, Fiona Button, Annabel Scholey and Deborah Findlay
Problematic prenups, scandalous wedding crashers, and low flying marriage proposals, as rom com meets gone wrong, in a chaotic and riotous weekend that guarantees to crack open the heart, before the last of the guests have gone home.
— Abi Morgan
The BBC and SISTER are delighted to announce that production has begun on a two-part special of The Split, created and written by multi-award winning Abi Morgan, and set to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later in the year. After the success of three series of The Split, the hit legal drama returns to our screens to explore the themes of love, legacy, and modern marriage, through a sparkling cast of characters that audiences know and love. The special will be distributed internationally by BBC Studios.
We left the final series with Hannah and Nathan attempting to divide up their twenty years together, and trying to navigate their way through a “good divorce”, questioning whether that is even possible.
Two years on, formidable family lawyer Hannah Defoe (Nicola Walker) and her family are back and have gathered for a beautiful wedding at a magnificent vineyard, nestled in Catalonia’s wine region. Set across one sun soaked weekend, The Split will encompass break-ups, reunions and like all good weddings, plenty of romance. As the sun rises over the glorious Spanish countryside, Hannah is compelled to banish the ghosts of her past and open herself up to the possibility of love again. Can she find the courage to take the leap into a new future?
Amongst a host of new characters including Toby Stephens (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Black Sails) as Archie Moore, cast confirmed to return for the Spanish extravaganza include Nicola Walker, Stephen Mangan, Annabel Scholey, Fiona Button, Deborah Findlay, Ian McElhinney, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Elizabeth Roberts and Alex Guersman.
Abi Morgan says, “In a world of brutal break ups and tantalising make ups, the Defoe family are invited to a destination wedding of their own, promising all that audiences have grown to love about The Split. Problematic prenups, scandalous wedding crashers, and low flying marriage proposals, as rom com meets gone wrong, in a chaotic and riotous weekend that guarantees to crack open the heart, before the last of the guests have gone home.”
Sister Co-Founder Jane Featherstone and Executive Producer Lucy Dyke say, “It is a joy to reunite with Abi and our wonderful Split team for this two-parter for the BBC One and iPlayer. We have missed the Defoe family and their messy, complex lives so we couldn’t be more excited to send them to beautiful Barcelona for a glorious, romantic weekend. In this chapter, Abi explores the often terrifying prospect of facing new romance after divorce and promises a rollercoaster of emotions along the way. And welcoming the brilliant Toby Stephens to our ensemble, as lawyer Archie Moore, it’s safe to say, sparks are going to fly.”
Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama says: “We know The Split’s millions of fans found it hard to break up with the Defoes, so before we delve into the heady world of The Split Up we couldn’t resist an extra treat in the form of these exquisite, sun-drenched specials from the wonderful Abi Morgan.”
The two-part special will air ahead of the forthcoming spin-off series The Split Up, which was recently announced for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

also i love how in smosh vs zombies they all remember little details and bring them up again later! like how spencer went “german engineering” towards the end of the final episode, or how george brings up wedding crashers as gracie’s dad. i know they filmed it in one sitting but it still takes a long time and i’m impressed by their memory!! george is such a good listener and he remembers little details and i really think that he is the one who makes the series so good!!
i seriously need to watch the full thing! i've only seen clips before. the cast (+ george) are all phenomenal at their jobs. i specifically love the fact that it requires less planning from the cast, so it feels more raw/real than pre-packaged (if you know what i mean?)
on my way to watch the videos rn

11, 16, 26 and 40 for the fic writer asks pls?
yessss thank you!!
writer asks
11. Link your three favorite fics right now
hfsdlfh i dont read fic very often but let's go digging. gonna challenge myself to find some NOT written by my friends cause otherwise it's too hard to pick favorites :lmao:
No Love, No Comfort by NoCoincidence [Stellaris] is a "i dont go here but this fucks severely" stellaris fanfic that @lightspeedpowerpunk recced me a while back and i inhaled the whole thing in one go, it's about an emergent AI that learns to be aggressive and eradicate organic life as an act of self-defense because its creators tried to kill it first and oh my god it's just so fucking good trust me
To Ourselves and Our Posterity [Mass Effect, orphaned fic] is an old favorite, shakarian childhood friends au where hannah dies and leaves custody of young jane to cnclr sparatus, it was never finished and im obviously no longer onboard with the hannah/sparatus among other aspects but it was one of the first fics i ever read that cast sparky in a genuinely kinder more sympathetic light and honestly i would love to give rewriting it a shot it has a spot in my heart forever
The Wedding Crashers by DasMervin, MrsHyde [Twilight Saga, Supernatural] is a spitefic originally posted on livejournal moved over to ao3 to dodge lj's posting limits, leah clearwater has broken free of jacob's shitty awful pack that's shitty to her and fucked off to go hunt sparklepires, unfortunately renesmee's wedding to jacob turns up and she's forced to attend so she brings the winchester brothers. shenanigans ensue. it's tongue-in-cheek and one of my favorite fun goofy rereads just trust me bro
16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?
well right now i'm thinking about a short "same scene, different pov" thing for the climax of itlog feat. garrus and tasora, mostly for the comedy of running into garrus's parents (because of course castis got an invite to the anniversary gala, and asadia isn't a frail delicate thing that will shatter if she thinks about leaving the house castis vakarian of course they should go don't try to use her condition as an excuse to be a recluse), because naturally garrus HAD to latch onto the ONE person in the whole embassy who would think his dad's nerdy poindexter routine is attractive
tasora, comfortable enough around garrus to go a little feral: hey blue guess what garrus, literally just got back from not dying horribly on omega: if you say my dad is kind of a dilf i'm walking into traffic
26. Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?
blood in the water? blood in the water. it's got half-mad cyborg salarians, it's got batarian worldbuilding, it's got transformers expies, it's got balak, it's got hegemony conspiracy bullshit, what more do you want from me
40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?
i mean ok i know the cool dramatic action scenes and climax bits are always what people want to see art of but honestly i think my strength is more the somber poignant moments that are quiet but still carry all the weight - The Man in the Mask would be a really good one that i'd love to see art of, with all the symbolism of desolas hiding in the shadows and valis only just able to see a small piece of the whole, or on a similar note ch2 of The Weight of Memory has some really good imagery with the arterius clan watching the sunset from the porch while they talk about the horrors of war, esp this bit:
“We’re ninety, Val.” Desolas didn’t get up, just faced forward and settled his elbows on his knees and chin on his clasped hands. Trebia had fallen low enough to kiss the tops of the trees far across the yard, and as its rays traced over the crags and cracks in his brother’s face, Saren could almost see the ghosts of the man he’d met above Shanxi tracing their hands over his plates once more. Shadows turned to bruises, old scars glittered blue, a weary half-lidded eye swelled shut, teeth disappeared from bloody gums. “We haven’t been young in a long time.”
.... basically any of my shit with the arterius bros, huh. especially desolas. be kind to my big brother he's been through a lot he can have some beautiful but melancholy imagery

Unmasking the 'Wedding Crashers' Cast: Where Are They Now?
If you were around in 2005, you likely remember the uproarious comedy Wedding Crashers. The Wedding Crashers cast brought together a powerhouse ensemble, delivering hilarious antics, unforgettable moments, and a surprising amount of heart. The film quickly became a cult classic, leaving audiences laughing and quoting their favorite lines for years. But what has happened to the stars who made this movie such a hit? Let’s take a closer look at the Wedding Crashers cast and explore how their lives and careers have evolved since that unforgettable summer comedy.
The Phenomenon of 'Wedding Crashers'
Wedding Crashers wasn’t just another romantic comedy; it was a cultural phenomenon. The film, which revolves around two bachelors who crash weddings to meet women, struck a chord with audiences worldwide. The chemistry between the lead actors, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, was electric, and the supporting cast added layers of humor and charm. The movie’s success catapulted its stars to new heights and has kept fans coming back for laughs even years later.
Owen Wilson (John Beckwith)
Post-Wedding Crashers Career
Owen Wilson, who played the laid-back and charming John Beckwith, has continued to be a prominent figure in Hollywood. Post-Wedding Crashers, Wilson solidified his place as a leading man in comedies with movies like You, Me and Dupree (2006) and Marley & Me (2008). His collaboration with director Wes Anderson also thrived, with memorable roles in films like The Darjeeling Limited (2007) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014). Wilson's unique blend of humor and sincerity keeps him a favorite among fans and directors alike.
Personal Life and Recent Projects
Beyond the screen, Wilson's life has seen its ups and downs, including publicized struggles with mental health. However, he has remained resilient, continuing to work on projects that showcase his versatility. Recently, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Disney+ series Loki (2021), where he plays the intriguing character Mobius M. Mobius, showing that his star power is far from fading.
Vince Vaughn (Jeremy Grey)
Post-Wedding Crashers Success
Vince Vaughn, the quick-witted Jeremy Grey, continued his streak of comedic hits following Wedding Crashers. He starred in The Break-Up (2006) alongside Jennifer Aniston and co-produced and acted in Couples Retreat (2009). Vaughn’s comedic timing and relatable everyman persona made him a staple in the comedy genre for years.
Ventures Beyond Acting
In addition to acting, Vaughn has taken on roles behind the camera. He produced and starred in the crime drama True Detective (Season 2, 2015), showcasing his range beyond comedy. A Simple Favor 2 Gets Fancy in Capri
Remember that twisty, hilarious movie "A Simple Favor" with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively? Well, get ready for another round of murder, mayhem, and maybe some overpriced wedding cake, because a sequel is officially happening! Mark your calendars and get your fascinators ready, because things are about to get wild in Capri, Italy. Deadline spilled the tea two years ago that a sequel was brewing, but now it's officially official. Amazon MGM Studios is bringing the whole gang back together, including director Paul Feig and the original cast. That means we get to see Anna Kendrick reprise her role as the quirky Stephanie Smothers, and Blake Lively back as the seemingly perfect Emily Nelson. Henry Golding (hello, eye candy!), Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho, and Kelly McCormack are also returning, so basically, it's gonna be a party. Lionsgate Crashes the Wedding Remember that crazy rich ex-husband from the first movie? Lionsgate is co-producing this sequel, so get ready for some serious high-society drama. The first movie made a killing at the box office, raking in a cool $97 million, so it's no surprise they're jumping back on board. Cameras are already rolling this spring, and the plan is to release the movie on Amazon Prime Video in a whopping 240 countries! This time around, Stephanie and Emily are ditching the suburbs and jetting off to the stunning island of Capri for Emily's extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Sounds fancy, right? Wrong! Because with these two, things never go according to plan. Expect murder, betrayal, and enough plot twists to make your head spin. Think "The Talented Mr. Ripley" meets "Wedding Crashers," with a dash of "Bridesmaids" thrown in for good measure. The Dream Team Behind the Scenes The script is being penned by Jessica Sharzer, who wrote the first movie, so you know the witty dialogue and killer twists will be on point. Oscar-nominated director Paul Feig is back in the driver's seat, so expect his signature blend of humor and suspense. Basically, this sequel has all the makings of a major hit. While we wait for the wedding bells (and inevitable drama) to ring out in Capri, here's what the cast has been up to: - Anna Kendrick: This multi-talented actress is making her directorial debut with the Netflix film "Woman of the Hour," while also starring in and producing the movie. - Blake Lively: She's starring in the film adaptation of the bestselling novel "It Ends With Us," and is also gearing up to make her feature directorial debut. - Henry Golding: This heartthrob is currently filming season two of Hulu's "Nine Perfect Strangers." - Basically, this cast is booked and busy, but they all cleared their schedules for a trip to Capri (and maybe a little on-screen murder). Mark Your Calendars, Drama Lovers! "A Simple Favor 2" is shaping up to be an epic follow-up to the first film. With its killer cast, hilarious script, and exotic location, this movie is a must-watch for fans of dark comedies and anyone who appreciates a good plot twist (or ten). Keep an eye out for more updates, and get ready to witness the return of Stephanie and Emily! (Source: Deadline) https://youtu.be/SUEFYZTFXkY Read the full article
