As a uni student with an internship, you had absolutely no time, and money was sparse. So it's been years since you've had a break. But, after saving money from your summer job, and a lot of convincing from your friends, you were finally going on vacation.  

On the second day, you were attempting to play volleyball on the beach. However, it wasn't going so well. 

"I got it!" you yelled, frantically running with your eyes on the ball in the air. 

You weren't expecting to run into someone, causing you to fall back, the volleyball landing a few meters away.

"Oh— I am so so sorry," a British voice apologized. 

And when you looked up at him, your breath got taken away. He towered over you, tan skin and dark curls falling onto his forehead. You tried not to focus too hard on his abs as you scanned your eyes over him.

Once you snapped out of your trance, you grabbed his outstretched hand and hoped he hadn't caught you staring at him. 

"Sorry, I should've been more careful," you brushed his apology off. 

"No, no, it was my fault. I'm Lando, by the way."

"Y/n," you replied.

"Well, Y/n, why don't you let me make it up to you?"

 "What did you have in mind?" you asked, a small smile gracing your lips.

"How about we grab some smoothies together after your game?" he suggested. 

You agreed, and he told you where he would be waiting.

"I'll find you when we're done."

"Perfect, it's a date," he winked, and then he was gone. 

Wide-eyed, you walked back to your friends, who squealed with glee when they heard about your plans. You hadn't been on a date in over two years, after all.

After that day, you started seeing Lando every day. You would go out into the town together, go to the club together, walk on the beach during sunset together, and your feelings were suddenly becoming very real. 

And then you kissed. When your lips connected, it felt like everything going on in the background dulled and it was just you and him, alone on the beach. It felt like nothing else in the world mattered as long as you were with him. His lips were addicting, and you couldn't get enough. 

You got to know Lando at such a personal level. You connected with him like you hadn't connected with anyone else before. You told him things you've never told anyone else. You squeezed a whole relationship into the 3 weeks that you were there. It felt perfect.

Lando had never met someone like Y/n before. She was funny, kind, smart, and had a smile that made his stomach flutter. The way he instantly connected with her, it was like they were made for each other. She didn't even know who he was, she just liked him for him. 

But it was too good to be true. You were in your last year of Uni, and the last thing you probably wanted was a serious relationship. He assumed you wanted to live your life after this, and wanted nothing to do with him. 

It was just a little fling, that's all. So he dreaded when he would have to leave. 

"Hey, we should talk," he told you as you lay next to each other on the beach. 

"Sure, what's up?"

"My flight to go home is tomorrow. And I'm sure you're not looking for a relationship right now, and neither am I to be honest. But, I had a really good time hanging out with you."

He didn't see the way that your face dropped. "Oh, right. Yeah. Yeah. It was just a bit of fun, I guess."

It went silent after that and unbeknownst to each other, they both had knots in their stomachs.

Early the next morning, Lando was on a flight home, and Y/n went home the next day, completely heartbroken.

Lando sat on the jet with Max Fewtrell across from him, his head leaning against the window as he stared longingly at the ocean below.

"So, did you get Y/n's number? You seemed to really hit it off," Max commented

Lando sighed deeply, tearing his gaze from the window as he shook his head.

"No, I told her I wasn't looking for a relationship."

"And is that true?"

"No, I actually really liked her," he admitted, avoiding eye contact as he picked at his fingernails.

"Knobhead."

Lando stared at Max with his mouth agape and eyes wide.

"Did you get her Instagram at least?"

"No."

"How about her last name?"

Lando shook his head.

"Fucking idiot," Max sighed.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll get over her."

"Wait, wait, tell me again what he said?" Y/n's friend asked in the hotel room.

"He assumed I didn't want a relationship and then he said that he didn't want a relationship either. So that was it. It's done."

"What a dickhead," Y/n's other friend commented, sighing.

"Yep, well, that's what I get for talking to men."

"Maybe you can clear things up? I assume you have his number or Instagram or something?"

"No, I don't," Y/n replied.

"Maybe we can look him up, what's his last name?"

"Um, I don't know."

"You're kidding right?" Y/n's friend said, groaning loudly at her stupidness.

"It's fine. It was just a little fling," Y/n dismissed.

"You were literally gushing about him on Twitter and saying that you thought you loved him."

"I don't want to talk about it, okay?"

When she got home, she spent two days just rotting in her bed, mascara stained on her cheeks.

The season continued for Lando, and he thought he would be able to forget about you quickly, but he was wrong.

All he could think about was your striking eyes, your infectious laugh, and your contagious smile. He closed his eyes all all he saw was your face.

He was sure that you were haunting him.

5 races later, his distracted behavior was getting noticeable.

"-Lando, Lando?"

He suddenly snapped out of his trance, realizing that his engineer was trying to get his attention during the debriefing.

"Sorry, what?"

"Are you feeling okay, Lando?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. What were you saying?"

Oscar gave him a look from across the room, but he just shook his head. Afterward, as he walked back to his driver's room, he opened his phone to look at a picture of you.

He had taken it while you weren't looking. Your head was tilted back in laughter, your eyes bright and cheerful. You looked like the most beautiful woman to ever exist.

"Who's that?" Oscar asked from beside him, and Lando jumped at his unexpected arrival.

"Jeez, warn a guy next time. It's no one."

"If it's no one then why are you always staring at her?"

Lando glared at him.

"Look, I met her during summer break, I blew it and told her I didn't want a relationship when it was a lie, but I don't have any of her contact info and I only know her first name."

"Surely you can find her somehow? Or she can find you? You are famous, after all."

Lando stopped walking suddenly, a smile forming on his face.

"You're a genius, thanks Oscar!" he yelled as he sprinted to his driver's room.

So, with a quick google search, he was able to find her address.

He went straight from the track to the airport.

You opened your Instagram to find thousands of new followers, hundreds of messages, and a bunch of mentions in comments.

Furrowing your eyebrows in extreme confusion, you clicked on the notification and it brought you to a post...with your face on it.

Getting even more confused, you checked the username. Lando Norris.

No fucking way.

You clicked on her profile, and it was really him. And turns out he was a famous, millionaire, Formula 1 driver.

What the actual fuck. And why was he trying to find you? Last you heard he wasn't interested in a relationship...not that you were still bitter or anything.

Shit, you couldn't do anything now, you had Uni to get to. You quickly got ready, grabbing your back and walking toward your car.

"Wait! Y/n!"

A shout of your name immediately grabbed your attention, and you turned around.

There he was, just as beautiful as he was two months ago. The air left your lungs as you took in his appearance. He was actually here.

"Lando. You're here."

"Yeah. Have you been on your phone today."

You nodded.

"Sorry for posting you, I was just so desperate to find you. I know I said I wasn't looking for a relationship but I just said that because that's what I thought you wanted and I'm really really sorry about that but I've been so miserable without you and—"

You cut him off, wrapping your hand around his neck and pulling him into a kiss.

"You are such a fool," you told him.

"I know," he sighed in relief, a wide smile on his face.

"Anyway, how did you find my address?"

"Google."

"And you couldn't just message me when you found my Instagram?"

"I had to get my point across."

You chuckled, pulling him into another kiss.

"As much as I'd love to stay here and kiss you more, I have to get to class."

"Right, I'll uh... get a hotel or something."

"You can stay in my flat, loser," you laughed, tossing him the keys.

"Hey, baby" Lando while he slid behind you, his hands around your hips to support you as you slightly swayed to the music on the dance floor, and you tilted your head at the sound of his voice. He pressed a kiss to your temple.

You were at the celebration party as Lando made it to the podium in second place. Lando invited his friends and you to the club to celebrate. So now you were dancing and having fun with other wags.

Lando knew that you were tipsy at this point, so he came to you to check on you. He was worried that one more drink would, might prevent you from returning safely to the hotel you were staying in.

"I think it's time to go now, sweetheart." He whispered the words directly into your ear before he whirled you around the face, he held your face up with his hands, so you could look at him.

Your hair stuck lightly to your neck and temple from all the dancing. Lando pushed it back and away from your sweaty skin. He watched as a slow smile spread across your face, before you stood on your tiptoes and kissed him.

But even in your high heels, which were 6 inches, you were still ridiculously shorter than Lando, and he especially bent his head down a little more to your height. 

"Do we need to? I mean, your friends and their girlfriends are staying, so why can't we?"

"You're seconds away from passing out, so yes, we need to." He stroked his thumb under your eyes to wipe away the accumulating mascara and stroked over your cheek, which turned into the warmth of his palm.

"If we're in the hotel, I'll order us food, and you can find a movie to watch?" Lando knew that you could never say no to food, so he wasn't surprised by your quick nod and the little flash in your eyes.

"But can we maybe stay 5 more minutes, Lan? Please..." 

"Hmm, I think you have had enough to drink, Missy, you're as small as a fairy, you and alcohol are not big friends."

Lando's mouth hovered over your mouth as he spoke, and it worked very well to kiss the small pout away that had already formed on your lips after his statement.

He kissed you slowly, his fingers tuned to your chin to move your mouth further towards his, and he hummed softly as you teasingly bit his lower lip, then giggled as you pulled away.

Lando frowned, put an arm around your waist to pull you closer to his chest and quickly stepped out of the way of a dancing couple, who the girl was waving her arms around.

He was afraid and worried that she would go and punch one of you two in the face or anywhere else for that matter. He could not afford that you were harmed in any possible way tonight.

Lando led you through the sea of bodies and towards the exit on the other side. More than a hundred people were there to celebrate or just to have fun this evening.

"I've already told George that we were leaving, so Carmen will be fine" He slid his fingers through yours, and you put your other arm around his. He knew that you would worry about Carmen, that's why Lando reassured you that she would be fine.

He kept glancing over his shoulder to make sure you were okay, his eyes glared at anyone who pushed you just a little too hard. Lando protected you in every way that he possibly could.

The cold breeze hit you both, as soon as you stepped outside the club. Lando gave you his jacket as he noticed that you were cold. He helped you put it on and to close it.

"You're getting cold, love." You told him, with concern laced in your voice, smiled slightly as he bent down to zip it up for you, his eyes met yours as you looked at him with adoration.

"I'm fine, but I will not let you catch a cold." 

You took his large hand in yours and then the two of you walked down the quiet street, the soft light of the streetlights made Lando skin glow. And in your drunken state, you couldn't help but stare.

"Are you going to stare at me until we are at the hotel, darling?"

"Maybe" 

The word was slurred and drawn out, the light tone was teasing nature, and it made him laugh softly and shook his head as his gaze followed your movements as you held your intertwined hands between your bodies.

"You are just very handsome, and I love looking at my boyfriend."

You had your head against his muscular bicep and Lando could not hold back his grin, his head lowered a bit, so he could give you a kiss on the top of your head.

"If I tell you that, you call me crazy and push me."

"I do not!"

"Yes, you do, darling. I told you that this morning, and you shoved your hand in my face and told me to fuck off." You pouted, looked up at him, and stopped with the swinging motion of your hands.

"That was because I woke up to you creeping at me."

"Appreciating your beautiful face."

"I had drool on my face."

"But these are your most beautiful moments, little one. That only I can see." Lando whispered the words, and you rolled your eyes as he teased you, wincing at the sudden pain in your feet from your high heels. 

You tightened your grip around Lando's arm to easily bring him to stop, his smile turned into a worried frown. He looked at you with relieve as he saw that you didn't hurt yourself.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, my feet just hurt from the high heels."

Lando gave you a compassionate smile and took your high heels out of your hand and carried them for you. You gave him a grateful smile and took his hand, intertwined it with yours, and walked to the hotel.

While you walked, you stumbled many times, so now you were under Lando's arm, so he could make sure that you wouldn't hurt yourself and fall on the hard floor.

In the hotel, you instantly walked to the bed and laid on it, to rest and to wait until Lando had showered and got ready for bed. You scrolled through Instagram, while you waited.

As Lando finished his shower, you went into the bedroom to shower and do your skin routine. He sat down on the bed and out the TV on, so you could watch a film.

"Baby, could you help me get something from the shelf?" You asked Lando, as you finished your shower. As you unpacked, you asked Lando to put it there, which maybe had been not such a good idea.

Lando knew exactly what he needed to grab you. He knew that if he put that thing up there, that you would never be able to reach it on your own, but you insisted.

"Coming." Lando came into the bathroom, got you the thing that you needed, and then gave you a kiss on the forehead. He walked to the bathtub and sat down on the edge.

He looked at you, as you continued your skincare routine in front of the sink mirror. You looked so cute, when you did your skincare routine, as you always had that cute focused look on your face.

"You are so small, baby. Maybe next time I have to ask if they have a room, that has shelves that small people can reach." Lando teased, with a smile, and you gave him an annoyed look.

"I'm not that small. There are people that are smaller. Don't be mean to me." 

"You are small, but that is perfectly fine. I love you just the way you are, baby."

"woo, i really don't have time for this," you groan into the phone. you're still trying decide between what heels you want to wear for the night, but his familiar voice is ringing in your ear.

"you kinda do. he left here like a minute ago."

"he's already on the way?!" you screech, prompting wooyoung to straight up laugh at you.

“yeah, and i know he’s speeding. this is the fastest he’s ever dropped jun off,” he snickers. you hear your son's loud giggle in the background, followed by the sound of wooyoung's cackle.

"put me on speaker," you coo, wanting to talk to your baby. you hear wooyoung sigh, pretending to be annoyed with your antics.

"hi june bug! are you having fun, baby?"

"yes omma! we're watching oppa perform!" he shouts, clearly on a sugar high. you clear your throat, waiting for an explanation from wooyoung.

"he's totally exaggerating! we watched one ateez performance. i was actually trying to show myself, but he's all about oppa," he groans, another loud giggle coming from jun. you can''t help but laugh along.

"i'll talk to you later, bubble! have fun! i love you!"

"love you, omma!"

"love you, unnie!"

you snort, mumbling a goodbye to wooyoung. hanging up the phone, you bring your attention to the mirror. okay, san is going to choke when he sees you.

you're wearing a satin dress, the fabric clinging to your curves like a greek statue. you just got a blowout, hair falling is soft waves down your back. deciding to keep you makeup light yet sultry, you did a smokey eye and a bold lip color. one of san's favorites. but, that's a coincidence of course.

spritzing your perfume, you admire yourself again in the mirror. all that's left now are shoes. you're stalling because you know which shoes will be perfect for this outfit, but you don't want to bring yourself to admit it.

you make your way to the back of your closet, more like another bedroom, scanning your shoe racks. the black patent leather winks at you, calling out your name. a memory flashes through your mind. it was your first birthday with san, all those years ago. he bought you the louboutin's that you'd been eyeing for the past week. you smile to yourself, picking them up and sliding into them with ease.

just as start to grab your clutch for the night, the doorbell rings. you can feel your heart beating in your ears. taking a deep breath, giving yourself a once over, you step out of the bedroom. the walk towards the front door feels like a mile, but you miss this feeling. it reminds you of the early days of your relationship, waiting on san to pick you up with bated breath.

before san can ring the doorbell again, you're swinging the door open. and damn. it's going to be a long dinner.

the first thing you notice is his cologne. it's one you bought him last Christmas. it's a strong, woody scent, and you're ashamed to recognize the arousal pooling in between your thighs. he's wearing his hair slicked back again. the style does wonder for his facial features, making him look more intimidating than usual. well, not to you, of course.

the crisp, white button down stretches across his broad shoulders, neatly tucking into his black trousers. the top buttons are undone, giving you a hint of his collarbones. you feel like a pervert, ogling him right in front of his face. but, he doesn't notice. he's too busy ogling you.

"you look stunning, honey." he sounds like he's in a daze. it's almost comical. his eyes scan your face and body in such quick succession, almost like he doesn't know where to focus on. you notice the way his eyes linger on your heels, a fond smile on his face.

"thank you, san," you hum, ducking your head in shyness. "i'll be back. i just need to set the alarm."

"leave your clutch while you're at it. you know you won't be needing it." the dominance in his voice makes your heart flutter. but you won't give in that easily.

"san, i'm not leaving it."

"well, take your wallet out then."

"who said i brought it?" your sass catches him off guard. he's missed it. his little smirk is the last thing you see before heading towards the alarm.

the ride to the restaurant is quiet but not awkward. the radio plays in the background while san hums along. you find yourself humming with him. you feel your cheeks warm when he glances over at you.

"i've missed hearing that," he confesses, toying with the smooth leather of the center console. you fight the urge to reach out and touch his hand. you're not sure why but you do.

"san, i thought we weren't going to argue tonight."

"i'm not trying to argue, i swear. just wanted you to know how much i've missed you. i'm sorry," he answers. you can't stay mad at him. after all, he was just being honest. which is more than you can say for yourself. you've missed him so much but saying it out loud makes you feel weak.

instead, you settle your hand over his. he has to bite his lip to stop the shit-eating grin. he fails anyway, bringing your hand up to press a kiss on the back of it. something about it feels so intimate. you have to look away, afraid he'll be able to read the desire on your face.

dinner was a success. you feel full and happy, but you’re still wide awake on the car. sadness creeps over you as he drives you home. truth be told, you had an amazing time tonight and don't want it to end.

"hey?" he gentle nudges your thigh, "you okay, honey?" his voice is warm and smooth, making your heart skip a beat.

"yeah, 'm fine," you answer, glancing over at him. he looks relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel. all of this feels so right. there's a part of you that wants it back. you don't even realize you're still staring at him until san clears his throat.

"just thinking about junebug." your lie is obvious to the both of you, but san doesn't call you out. instead, he reaches for your hand, gently holding it in his own. you have to bit your lip to stop the growing grin on your face.

sooner than you'd like, he pulls up to your long driveway. "i had an amazing time tonight." his eyes are so earnest that it almost makes you want to cry.

"so did i."

it's all you can say right now, finding it difficult to work through all the emotion swirling around in your chest. he places another kiss to the back of your hand, then opens his door. you chuckle under your breath, amused by his hurried footsteps coming towards the passenger door.

both of your drag your feet to the front door, clearly not wanting the night to end. when you finally reach it, you slow around, fumbling for the key inside your small clutch.

"hold on, i got it." he reaches for his keys, quickly finding his key to your home. "thank you." he hums his response, smoothly unlocking the door.

"thanks for inviting me out," you linger in the doorway, unable to tear yourself away from him.

"thanks for coming with me, angel. you made my birthday special."

you drop your head, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze. he's staring at you with so much love in his eyes. you're sure that he can see the same in yours.

"i really want to kiss you right now." it's blunt and almost whiny, prompting a giggle from you. san can't help but join in on your laughter, happy to see that beautiful smile on your face.

"well," you breathe through giggles, "it is your birthday." san's heart skips a beat, almost unable to believe his ears. as soon as the shock leaves his system, his lips are on yours.

it's gentle and sweet, reminding you of when you first started dating all those years ago. you can hear your heart beating in your ears, giddiness over taking your sense. he gently places a hand on your waist, kissing back with fervor.

out of reflex, you bring your arms around his neck, leaning against his firm body. every thought in your mind is consumed by him, your bodies melting into one. you feel yourself falling under his spell, familiar arousal warming the pit of your tummy.

"s-san, wait." he's off you in an instant, pulling away to meet your eyes. "i'm sorry, i got a little carried away."

"no, it's fine. so did i," you chuckle, fixing your outfit.

there's still tension in the air, both of you waiting for the other to make the next move.

"guess i should go check on junebug," he murmurs, a soft smile on his face. the both of you smile at the mention of your son. still, you feel sadness at the thought of the night ending.

"it's kinda late. don't you think he'll be asleep?"

now san is certain his heart stopped for good. are you saying what he thinks you're saying?

"yeah, he might be," he blurts out, a sudden blush forming on his cheeks. he feels like a teenager staying the night at a girl's house for the first time.

"maybe you can call woo and tell him you'll be back in the morning?"

"y-yeah! for sure!"

you giggle at his excitement, stepping aside to let him in the front door. san thinks this might be his best birthday yet.

You were beyond excited as you stepped into the Smosh building, heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and exhilaration. The email inviting you to join Smosh Games for a session of your favorite board game, Munchkin, had been a dream come true. As a Twitch streamer with a (not to brag) rapidly growing following, this collaboration was a huge milestone.

You were greeted by Ian Hecox, whose welcomeness immediately put you at ease. "Hey! You must be Y/N. We're really excited to have you here," he said, giving you a friendly smile.

"Thank you so much for having me," you replied, trying to keep your voice steady. "I've been a fan for years."

As Ian led you to the set, you caught sight of Spencer Agnew, who was busy setting up the game. He looked up, a pair of glasses perched on his nose, and gave you a shy smile. You felt your stomach do a somersault.

"Hey, Y/N. I'm Spencer," he said, extending a hand. "I'm a producer here and also a huge fan of Munchkin. Can't wait to play it with you."

"Nice to meet you, Spencer," you said, shaking his hand. His touch was warm, and you noticed the slight flush on his cheeks as he pulled away. "I've heard you're the go-to guy for games around here."

He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, something like that. I've seen some of your streams. You're really funny."

You felt your cheeks heat up. "Thanks. I love what you guys do here."

As the rest of the cast arrived, you were introduced to Olivia Sui, Courtney Miller, and Shayne Topp, who all welcomed you enthusiastically. The energy on set was infectious, and soon you were deep into the game of Munchkin, Spencer by your side, helping everyone else through the more complex rules.

Throughout the game, you and Spencer developed an easy chemistry. He had a quick wit that matched your own, and your banter flowed naturally. There was a moment when you both reached for the same card, your hands brushing against each other. "Don't worry, you'll do great," he said, giving you an encouraging smile. "Plus, it's always more fun when we have new people. Brings better energy."

The Try Not to Laugh shoot was a blast. Spencer made a surprise appearance, joining in on the antics. The awkward flirting between you two continued, much to the amusement of the rest of the cast. There were moments when Spencer would glance at you, his eyes lingering just a bit too long, or when your laughter would cause him to smile wider than usual.

During a break, you found yourself alone in the hallway, trying to catch your breath from all the laughter. Spencer approached you, a bottle of water in hand.

"Here," he said, offering it to you. "Thought you might need this."

"Thanks," you said, taking it gratefully. "This has been so much fun."

"Yeah, it has," he agreed, shuffling his feet a bit. "Hey, I was wondering if maybe you'd want to grab coffee sometime? You know, outside of the studio."

Your heart skipped a beat. "I'd love that," you replied, smiling.

The rest of the day went by in a blur of laughter and camaraderie. As you were packing up to leave, Spencer approached you again, this time looking a bit more nervous.

"Hey, um, there's a little gathering tonight at one of the crew's places. You should come. It'll be fun," he said, his voice hopeful.

"Sure, that sounds great," you said, feeling a thrill of excitement.

The party was lively, filled with music, chatter, and the familiar faces of the Smosh crew. You and Spencer gravitated towards each other, finding a quiet corner to chat. The chemistry between you was undeniable, and it felt like everyone in the room could sense it.

At one point, you excused yourself to the bathroom. As you were washing your hands, the door opened, and Spencer slipped inside, closing it behind him.

"Hey," he said, his voice soft, eyes locking onto yours in the mirror. "I just… I couldn't wait any longer."

Before you could respond, he stepped closer, his hands gently cupping your face. Your heart raced as he leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. It was soft and sweet at first, but quickly turned more passionate. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened.

When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless. Spencer rested his forehead against yours, a soft smile playing on his lips.

You both left the bathroom a few minutes later, trying to act nonchalant. But the knowing smiles and teasing looks from the rest of the Smosh cast told you that your secret wasn’t much of a secret at all. The night ended with Spencer walking you to your car, his hand gently holding yours. As you said your goodbyes, he leaned in for another kiss, this one soft and lingering.

"See you soon?" he asked, hope shining in his eyes.

"Definitely," you replied, smiling. "I can't wait."

As you drove home, your heart was full. What had started as an invitation to guest on Smosh had turned into so much more. You couldn't wait to see where this would lead.

Your boyfriend layed in your bed, his shirt and gi off and in the washing machine after a tough mission. The door to your room creaked open silently as you came in with a small tray of food. Cole's eyes we're closed as he layed his head back to rest for a minute, but as soon as the scent of your cooking hit his nose, his eyelashes fluttered open. The smell was familiar to him. It scratched his brain in the right way, as if something missing was tugging at his heart that was seemingly long forgotten. You gently sat down on the bed and left the tray of food on the counter. You rearranged the pillows and covers so your partner was more comfortable and not in pain. You looked at Cole's muscular chest, now littered in cuts and few bruises here and there. You took his hand and he met your gaze with his own softening one, frustration still visible. For now it was time to take care of the outside, the inside would have to wait for a brief second. You pressed a tender kiss to his cheek as you handed him the tray - a small bowl of broth, a piece of bread and a piece of cake on the side. Cole sighed in relief at the warm sensation of the steam in his face.

"Thanks, Hun. You're great." The master of earth spoke softly before the smell hit his nose even harder and it really caught his attention. It brought a lot to him in a brief moment - sounds, senses, smells, feelings...people. It was his favorite dish as a kid, when everything was ok, when he had smiling, laughing mom and dad at the dinner table. A simple bowl of broth was able to bring back a piece of his long gone family back to him. He stared at the bowl for a while more. His thoughts were scattered, flying into different directions, but in a calm manner. His thoughts shifted to his mom. What would she think of him now? What would she say? How would she look like now? He wanted her to be proud so badly. He thought of his mother every day, especially on missions like this one where he barely made it out alive.

Cole brought the spoon to his lips with shaky movements. It even tasted the same. That same exact flavor. All bruises and cuts faded instantly on his muscular chest. You pressed a kiss to his forehead at the sight of his clear skin. A sigh escaped Cole's lips before a tear dripped down right into the hot broth. A wave of anxiety flooded through your chest. Maybe it was a mistake, you shouldn't have called Cole's dad to ask for the recipe. You took a soft breath before speaking up.

"I'm sorry, maybe i shouldn't have." He was clearly pained by such a memory, perhaps you did more bad than good. "I thought it would've been nice and i...don't know. Sorry." You looked at him with a gentle gaze. You had no idea what it was like to lose the rock in your life, the person who loved you the most. The master of earth's hand found it's way to yours and enveloped it tenderly, afraid to break it if he used more force.

"Thank you for reminding of something nice i had." He looked down, his smile melancholic and full of different emotions you couldn't describe. You were relieved for a moment until you heard a sob. You looked at Cole and your heart broke - the strong, undestroyable guy who was as tough as stone finally let his guard down and he broke right in front of you, crying ugly, but still with a smile on his face. You rushed to take the plate away and you took him in your arms.

He would organize Carnival nights with the whole family and take her to as many rides as she wants

if you're dating Tom, he would ask her if she wants you as her auntie and if she accepts you as his wife 🥹

He would kneel down to talk to her (😩 have my babies)

He would get into play fights with her at the dinner table 😭

Whenever Bill is dropping her off at his house, he would run to the car and get her out of the car seat himself. "come here! uncle Tommy missed youuu!"

He would play guitar for her and when she was younger he would play little lullabies

He could go crazy over that baby's cuteness

He would take her baths every once in a while and put fun toys in the tub

He would take her to the park a lot to get her tired for nap time

The first time he met her it was like love at first sight for him even if he didn't quite know how to act out of shock and confusion (his mind was like foggy idrk how to explain it)

When she's older he would start being more himself (so talk about things freely and make dirty jokes all the time)

I feel like he would try his best to let the baby's first word be "uncle Tom" 😭

He's the overprotective uncle
