Oumota week 2023! Day three- dancing!!

You can hear Macklemore’s “And we danced” in the distance. You can’t tell where it’s coming from. With each of your heartbeats you can feel it get louder and louder. The walls shake as the bass boosts through you, from the bottom of your spine to your tongue between your teeth. Oh fuck, Its him. He’s behind you- Macklemore.

I got harassed at lunch today while running the GSA club table and I reported it to the administration BUT I think my mom finally realizes the extent of my pain ("so... it's constant at this point?" me: "it's been constant pain for three days." "hmm.") hopefully we can get this figured out.

IN THE MEAN TIME

I'm running on hours of sleep and a rice crispy treat and somehow I have ENEGRY

hold me to the game plan for today (also because I have the energy but motivation is gone)

finish the sociology presentation; turn in (5 notes)

clean the cat puke (10 notes)

write one-page history essay; turn in (15 notes)

start on GSA presentation (20 notes)

post pictures of my cosplay right now (25 notes)

figure out how to make sleeves. the goal right now is to finish the tunic today, then tomorrow and Saturday work on the robes (30 notes)

oh, and get food. at... some point (35 notes)

lady whistledown being absolutely integral to the bridgerton story and plot because she is not just Penelope, she is an entirely different third entity as well. a narrator, an observer, and an audience. she introduces the themes of the season, episodes, and characters. she may be a mere gossipmonger and speculator, but she is a direct fourth-wall link to the viewers/spectators to provide insight to the ton's moments of idiosyncrasy and hubris. she is channeled by penelope but does not belong to her because lady whistledown represents something far more important: the viewers themselves.
