okay but imagine grown up omega and hera after the defeat of the empire and them meeting up with the rest of the bad batch and jacen is also there and they get to catch up with each other and then hera says something along the lines of "you know, you saved his father" because you can be damn sure kanan confided in hera about his experience with order 66, so she knows.

now, the only ones who were there when kanan escaped from them, were hunter and cross, but i think that hearing that kanan got to live a somewhat happy life with hera and the rest of the ghost crew, that must have been a relief for both of them. for hunter because of his Dad Instinct™ and probably having been worried about what happened to the kid. for cross because that's one less person on his concience.

also, hera wouldn't be where she is today if it weren't for them, helping her and her family on ryloth, and saving her husband from certain death when he was just a child. the batch helped the rebellion more than they were aware of. hera will be forever thankful to clone force 99.

I still don't get why people wanna be mad about these two female characters who survived being stabbed by a lightsaber...because somehow it's...unrealistic...or bad writing? (Because no one in real life has ever survived something that should have killed them, I guess.)

Love kanan and the grand inquisitor's dynamic in rebels s1 (/2) so much... it's on sight every time they meet but i never get a sense of deepset personal animosity in their interactions, TGI always looks kinda excited to see him and kanan looks like hes indulging him like you would a cat that wants to play. in less than 10 episodes darth maul tricked ezra, made him believe that he was a friend, lied to him, betrayed him, blinded his master, was one of the causes that ahsoka didn't came back, held the rebels family hostage, hurted them, robbed kanan's holocron, almost KILLED kanan AGAIN and tricked ezra AGAIN.

okay so! i made this post a while back saying that i had a headcanon that kanan was the first to make a connection to sabine (in part because i think sabine ‘mommy issues’ wren would have been reluctant to trust hera at first).

and it turns out (according to the “star wars rebels: sabine, my rebel sketchbook” book) kanan is the one that recruited her!!!!

(and sabine is adamant that hera is not her mom. again, mommy issues lol)
