Silence. You hear nothing but the sound of his keyboard clacking and his mouse clicking under his fingers from where he sits at his desk. You exhale through your nose, rolling your eyes.

Again, you’re given nothing to work with. He curses under his breath, something about him being outnumbered and needing a cover. You don’t even know what game he’s playing, just that he’s been playing it for over an hour. You’re starting to get annoyed.

What kind of boyfriend tells his girlfriend to come over and then plays his stupid online game instead of talking to her?

When you get out of a long day of work, you just want to relax. You don’t want to lay on your boyfriend’s bed all by yourself, forced to watch him play a game you didn’t care for, much less understand. You burn holes into the back of his head when he starts swearing at the screen, hovering over his chair and leaning closer to the PC.

“Youngjae!”

That finally catches his attention, pushing one side of his headset off so he can hear better. He keeps his eyes on the screen but turns his head towards you, humming in response. “What’s up, baby?”

“Is your girlfriend there?”

“Yeah dude, shut up.”

You recognize the other voice as belonging to his best friend, Kim Sunwoo. Your lips form a pout and you flop backward on his bed. “I’m bored. And I wanna cuddle.”

“After this round, I promise.” He smiles at you, returning his focus to the match he was in. His fingers move quickly on the same four backlit keys, tongue poking the inside of his cheek in concentration. From your perspective, it just looked like his character was running aimlessly. (Apparently he had an agenda.)

“Bruh, you said we were gonna play until we won one.” Sunwoo complains. Your mouth forms a scowl. No wonder the guy was still bitchless. He had no concept of how girlfriends were maintained.

“I’m gonna kick your ass.” Your boyfriend says into the mic, tone monotone and no mirth behind the words. You know he wasn’t trying to be intimidating, but it kind of turns you on to see him so focused, his jaw slightly tensed and his bottom lip now between his teeth.

It had been about a week since you last did anything sexual, and you think that paired with your mind numbing work day was the cause for your sudden rush of hormones. You’d think dating a gamer would mean he wasn’t skilled in the sexy department, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. If anything, being so adept with his fingers made him that much better than the average person. Eric’s eyes narrow when he sees a group of players in the distance.

With a lazy sigh, you stand from his bed, sitting yourself on the edge of his desk. He offers you a small smile before resuming the intense gameplay he was engaged in. You cross your legs not so subtly due to his appearance, his hair falling into his eyes and his brows knitted together. You wanted him so bad right now. Fucking Kim Sunwoo would pay for being a cockblock.

You nudge his knee with your foot, silently whining in hopes he gets the hint. He holds a finger up to you, leaning into the monitor again. You know what they say; if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

You perch yourself on his lap, grinning in sweet victory when his expression falters and he accidentally releases the mouse from his grip. The momentary distraction is enough for his character to get killed, the screen flashing to showcase Sunwoo’s character’s point of view. Eric’s shoulders sag and he gives you a pointed look. He isn't dumb, he knows people are different in many ways. But that doesn't mean he can spot it like he can a head shot. He's not great with any sort of social queues, give him a moment.

It takes almost months for him to realize, but when he does it's a jump for him. It's not new to him, trans people, but he doesn't know many personally- so he goes to others for advice, people that he knows know more than him about this. When they tell him more about it, he's making severe mental notes.

He tries to come off as subtle, making hints in passing conversation that he knows and supports you, but he's not as slick as he thinks. It's very obvious. He makes comments like “People can change their gender at any moment, and that's just so cool” and thinks ‘yeah, I'm sly’.

Eventually you sit him down and kinda confront him about it, and he lets it out that he's embarrassed he didn't catch on sooner to something so open. It's almost hilarious how silly he looks, confessing that. His face is red with embarrassment and constantly running his hand through his hair out of nervousness.

But it's not wrong or bad he didn't realize, if anything it totally validated you- he couldn't tell you weren't born that way. He's just unintentionally made you feel the most validation you've ever felt. Congratulations Clint, the unintentional ally.

Now that he knows it's alright, he asks you all the questions possible. How did you know? What's it like day to day? Should he beat people up for you? He doesn't want to invalidate your feelings by doing everything for you, but he can't help it. It's in his nature, he sees you struggling and he has the need to help.

When it comes to hurt feelings, or just a bad day of dysphoria, he's at your side constantly. Without fail he'll always be there for you, his arms wide and body warm- ready to comfort. Those mental notes he's made in the past really help at times like these, he knows exactly how to make you feel somewhat better.

Some days he'll come back from a mission and catch you in his room, surrounded by his blankets, and his heart soars. He'll join you and wrap his arms around you, snug as a bug. The blackout curtains make it so he can coddle you all day and not know or care, only getting up for the bathroom or some kind of food (which he orders, his kitchen privileges are revoked).

This old man (affectionate) isn't too concerned about what or who people are, if you're on his side you're on his side. He acknowledges your presence and the more you know him the more he is willing to make dumb small talk during down time.

But you're closer than that, he makes the effort to watch over you during matches, to protect you. He even does more than small talk, he genuinely talks to you and enjoys it. He likes to think he knows you.

Except maybe he doesn't.

It was brought up in conversation, a small comment made by you. He's a little unfocused from the conversation after that, but he makes sure to keep it going until eventually you leave. The solitude gives him time to process and think. Man, he doesn't know you- nor does he know anything about these types of things! He likes you, he wants to make you comfortable, make you happy. How does he do that if he didn't even know something you seem pretty open about?

Research is what he goes to first, anything he can find he takes. He spends the whole night on his shitty laptop, hunched on the couch like a loser.

It's not until you come into the living room that he even realizes how late it was, much to both your confusion as to why either of you were up so late. A little embarrassed he admits he was looking up stuff about being trans, which made you think HE was trans, which made him almost jump up and half whisper half shout ‘no!’. This was difficult, and he explained quickly that it was for you, to make sure he doesn't ever make you uncomfortable and make sure he knows his stuff. How kind.

The both of you sat down on the couch, facing each other, and you told him if he had any questions he could ask you. You felt so honored that the Frank Castle, the Punisher, took his time to try and learn something he knew nothing about to make you comfortable.

Too flustered to say anything, Frank just wrapped his arm around you and pulled you into his side. Enough talking, he's embarrassed- it's late, get some sleep. Oh? You're worried about the couch, that's alright, just lay on him. His back will be okay.

The original conversation went a bit different, Momo ends his message with “好きピ= sukippi”, Momo later on explains that it’s a combination between 好き=suki (like) and ピーポー=people (pi=ピ), which means a “favorite person” even if it’s sometimes used on objects and such. The closest and most “literal” translation would be “fave”, but I doubt Torao wouldn’t know what a fave is so I went with bias instead.

Okay I already mentioned the plot twist of Yuu ending up with Lilia because dat thigh game too strong. 🦵 💪😤 🤣

But here’s another plot twist: what if Lilia’s papa bear/adopt children instincts somehow get triggered and latch onto Yuu?

Like, obviously, he’s focused on protecting Silver from Yuu, but there’s been a couple times where we see that, when Silver is NOT there, they CAN coexist.

And this last post of yours, with Crowley telling Lilia he can’t keep kicking Yuu because of the structural damage… that made me think “huh. You know. Crowley is supposed to be taking care of Yuu. Like… Yuu is technically all alone here. Lilia is fae. Yuu is obviously older but like. A free child is a free child. 🤷‍♀️👀💀”

So now Lilia is trying to bring Yuu into the family and telling Yuu that Silver is now Yuu’s BROTHER and Yuu is like “NO. THAT’S THE LOML.” And now Yuu and Lilia are fighting for a completely DIFFERENT reason because Lilia is now determined to take in this poor child that had to SELL THEIR KIDNEY TO AFFORD FOOD WHEN THEY FIRST GOT TO TWISTED WONDERLAND DEAR SEVENS?! while Yuu is screeching that LILIA CAN TAKE CAN CARE OF YUU WHEN YUU MARRIES INTO THE FAMILY BACK OFF BATMAN!!!!

Meanwhile Silver is watching in sleepy confusion, Sebek in horrified confusion, and Malleus in just plain confusion (but he’s happy to be there 😊)

Lol, I love the idea of Lilia slowly developing affection for this problem child to the point of wanting to adopt him.

This be hard for different reasons than you stated, however, as Yuu has a strong aversion towards family for—reasons. He’s also fiercely independent and would rather tear himself apart than depend on others (and he has). (Though the kidney thing isn’t a big deal. He got another one later. Leona should be careful where he naps...) He’d also have to fight Crowley for custody.

You’re on key for Yuu’s reaction though. “You can have me as a son in law, Batty!” lol.

But if Lilia thinks that adopting him will stop Yuu’s pursuit of Silver, he’s got another thing coming. Yuu can call Lilia daddy and Silver hubby easily. (Down internet, you know what I mean.)

I’ve realized I haven’t shown any doll people other than Medora, so take this guy. His name is Archibald and he unfortunately had been abandoned in a warehouse for about ten years. Also I decided to give doll people their eyelids back.

The first pic she tried to make a makeshift table borrower style but then half of it got knocked over :(

She js wanted to invite him over for some water……..

Another doll people fact: they can go dormant in certain environments; they’d appear completely frozen as if they were an actual doll and go into a sort of limbo between wakefulness and deep sleep. They can break out of dormancy when removed from the environment but it’d take a bit to fully wake up. Probably like a couple of days. My boy Archibald was very much inspired by the Norman animatronic from the Interpol music video “Evil.” I love puppet and animatronic restoration videos. They give me inspiration for the doll people so I get to merge some of my biggest interests. 💪

Now I yap about Archibald’s design. As you can see, the covering on his skin has been scratched up and discolored, making a dull yellowish look. The same goes for his eyes, the tint got yellowed. His eyelids are broken so now he just permanently looks like he’s about to fall asleep. The seams in his skin have that weird orangey sticky stuff that old dolls get. It’s probably mold now that I think about it. His leg fell off, he still has it somewhere though. For now he’s using small pieces of plastic haphazardly stuck together with a piece of cheese wax and old glue, along with a cane made out of a small wooden dowel. Which also has cheese wax on it.

As a character, he’s like one of those guys that try SO so hard to be polite since he doesn’t like sounding mean, but is a bit too judgmental for his own good. He really doesn’t like any sort of lying (or keeping quiet), so he sugarcoats stuff. It either comes off as condescending or goofy. Like if you did a bad job at drawing something he’d be like “wow, what a unique interpretation..” I like to think that sometimes Cove would do things poorly on purpose just to hear him try hard to sound nice and fail. It’s hilarious to him.

Also he likes butterflies and watching corny Halloween movies.

Obey Me Boys as Band Kids

Please note that these are personal things I've noticed in my time as a former band kid, and is not meant to be taken too seriously. I love all the sections equally and all the weirdos in them, haha. Anyways, go band kids! 💪

Inspired by the new event coming out! 🤗

Lucifer is a trumpet player. He’s got one of the biggest egos in the band and plays loud and proud even if he’s wrong (which is rare). Lucifer is that kid that takes his instrument home every single day to practice and shows off the next day. Takes band seriously, and is very popular among his peers. Mad that he didn’t get drum major position, but never shows it when asked. 

Mammon plays snare drum. Literally could use what’s left of his brain cells rattling around in his head instead. A troublemaker, probably gets betted to do stupid things every other week, which just causes more stress for the drum major and the band director. Though it makes for good stories later. One of the weakest marchers, loses the beat halfway and is now marching right, left, right…

Leviathan is a sax player, do not tell me he’s not. Most of the sax players I knew were NERDS, so dorky, but some of the funniest people you will ever meet. They’re either really popular or terribly socially inept, Levi falls on the socially inept spectrum. He’s not too serious, but not a total blowoff in the band. He plays super quiet out of fear of playing wrong, but if there’s a song he likes, he gets really into it. Probably one of those guys that puts the whole reed in his mouth and swishes it around to wet it as everyone else is appalled by it.

Satan is the drum major (me too 😊). Responsible and stressed, cordial with all, friendly with some. He knows the ins and outs of everything going on within the band, whether it’s gossip, inside jokes, the literal music itself (that’s a given), etc. He probably has little pow-wows with the section leaders where he gets his information, specifically the colorguard captain. Has a solid connection with the drumline.

Asmo is captain of the colorguard! Gossip and drama, and part of the band's discount Keeping Up With the Kardashians show (I swear that’s what it’s like). He’s a perfectionist, probably stays late after school to practice his routines. Has a meltdown at the smallest mistake, yells at others when they mess up. He’s definitely hit someone with a flag because they were in his way or in the wrong spot, iykyk. 

Beel is a tuba player. He probably keeps to himself, maybe befriending the trombone or trumpet players and opening up a little there. His mom brings the band snacks and food for games. New to band so he’s learning how to play and march properly. Still hasn’t learned to suck in his cheeks when he plays.

Belphie is a clarinet player (also me 💅). He’s probably a squeaker. Makes hard eye-contact with the drum major as he licks his reed wet with a sly grin just to mess with them. He’s a great player, he just needs to be louder, no one can hear him. Leans on his clarinet when his eyes get droopy when he’s sitting down. 

Diavolo is in the drumline, probably a bass or quad player. If he’s a quad player, there will never be a time you won’t hear him playing. Every five seconds he’s playing some part of the cadence, and somehow the rest of the drumline joins in. If he’s a bass player, he’s just a derpy guy who’s just there for a good time. Joins the tromboners in their mischief and jokes. 

Barbatos gives pit energy to me, think marimba and bells. He quietly practices in the back, waving his mallets over the notes so he doesn’t disturb anyone. Very attentive to the drum major and band director when they speak, never has an outburst of any kind. He’s responsible, and timely when preparing for a show. Probably keeps the drumline in check though. (Also plays cymbals during parades). 

Simeon is a flute player, specifically piccolo. He’s a beast on that thing, and so loud (watch your ears). Gossips and chats with the clarinet section, is an honorary member of that section too. I bet he has that flute pinky thing, iykyk. 

Solomon is… *sighs* a trombone player… He’s one of the guys in the back making “that’s what she said'' jokes when the director says something that can be twisted that way. Makes the whole band crack up at his funny quips. He’s a skilled marcher and is incredibly dedicated to the band. Sometimes empties his spit valve on other people’s shoes just to mess with them (think Lucifer specifically).

Luke is an aspiring trumpet player! He’s doing his best, so cheer him on when you can. One of those insecure, doesn’t want to be too loud trumpet players. But you can never be too loud…unless it says pianissimo…

hey it’s the anon that requested the chenle fic. i think i’ll just call myself 💪anon so i have a name 😭😭 the exam was pretty good, it was similar to the practice exams we got and now i’m on like a month break til the second semester starts 🙏🙏🙏 onto the request 😈😈😈 can you write a chenle x male reader x jisung where it’s the first time the trio have been paired together for a concept shoot for their upcoming album. reader is known to be super reserved regardless of the situation. until the director tells the reader to position himself closer to chenji in order to get the perfect shots. turns out reader is battling demons which includes getting easily flustered when it comes to physical contact. chenji notice and tease reader about it. it’s a silly request but go ham with it🔥🥶🔥🥶

Zhong Chenle x Male Reader x Park Jisung

You watch Jisung from the computer screen, too scared to stare at him as he poses in real time on the football field. You’ve never been a part of a comeback this demanding. Having multiple sets for comeback teasers was usual—but having to do them for a pre-release along with the official title track was draining you. It didn’t help that the recordings weren’t fully finished. The creative directors were still deciding on which direction to go with you—something that should’ve been done before the comeback season began.

“What are you thinking so hard about?” There’s a beat. A moment of silence as Chenle shuffles to squeeze in between you and the staff monitoring the pictures. You didn’t want to burden Chenle with your troubles—nor did you want to lie to him. “Come on, you don’t have to keep up your cold persona with no cameras around.” You can tell Chenle is joking by the way his nose scrunches up, cheeks puffing out in a smile while he watches the screen with you. In an attempt to humor him further, you point at the cameras that sat in front of you—taking nonstop pictures as Jisung lays down on the grass below you.

It’s always been hard—verbalizing your thoughts to your members but you never wanted to come off as cold. You shook your head to yourself, knowing deep down that Chenle didn’t mean his comment to go beyond surface level. They didn’t mind how reserved you were as long as you were a part of the team and their family dynamic. At least—that’s what you told yourself.

“Chenle, since you’re here, do you mind joining Jisung and trying out some unit pictures? Pull inspiration from your Hello Future concept pictures.” Chenle gives you a small nod, lips forming into a thin line when he walks out into the sun to join Jisung on the field. You look back towards the monitor, only to lock eyes with the photographer who was just directing Chenle. “Let’s actually try going further back and remember the Empathy concept. It’s quite the opposite from this, but I want to bring out that ambiguous feel around the two of you.” He continues to stare down at you, his shifting eyes giving away how the gears in his head were turning. “Let’s throw (Y/n) in there. With Chenle and Jisung.”

It’s an odd combination.

Usually Chenle and Jisung were paired just the two of them—regardless of the concept. They were almost always seen together during promotions. It’s a weird feeling. Sitting in between the two men as the sun shines in your (e/c) eyes. You’re unsure of where to put yourself—scared to interfere with their chemistry alone—but the staff was clear. You were to sit in between them and create a barrier. The shoot started out awkward—stiff—as the three of you got the hang of posing with each other. They had no problem in working with each other, no problem with leaning into you or incorporating their bodies to help with the shoot but there was something off.

“(Y/n), I want you to get closer to them, bring them towards you. Think of like this—you’re the sun and they’re the sunflowers. They’re attracted to you, they want to go to you specifically. Chenle, Jisung, there’s nothing wrong with guiding him if you so please.” There’s no telling if your rosy cheeks are from the makeup—the heat—or the flush of embarrassment that came with sitting knee to knee with both boys. You can feel their eyes on you, hard and unblinking as you snake one arm to rest on Chenle’s waist, and the other to rest on Jisung’s thigh. Chenle brings his head to your shoulder, arching his back into you—forcing you to tighten your grip around him. You feel his faint breath on your chest, and you hope he can’t feel how fast your heart is beating.

“(Y/n).” Jisung’s long fingers catch you off guard as they pull your attention away from Chenle. “Pay attention to me.” He brings you to face him head to head, hand still resting just under your jaw. You can hear the endless shutters of the camera—never forgetting that this was only for show. It was to bring in fans and talk towards the shoot. But everything the two men did felt premeditated. Every glance they shared before speaking or touching you suggestively had you confused.

Although you failed to make eye contact with Jisung, he had your full attention. He moved the tips of his fingers from your jaw to just under your chin, hooded eyes never breaking away from you. You shifted your gaze from the moles that sat on his face to his round lips. You don’t even feel your mouth drop—hand clammy as it sits stiff on Jisung’s bare thigh.

“(Y/n).” Chenle’s voice breaks away the spell that Jisung seems to have on you. He has a glint in his eyes, a certain mischief that you usually see directed towards Jisung. He adjusts himself to rest his head on your lap, staring up at you as his hair fans out on your thighs. You can feel Jisung’s gaze on you as you stare down at Chenle—whose eyes move to look at Jisung next to you.

“Perfect!”

The photographer breaks you away from both of them—capturing a picture that leaves you with your mouth hanging open and the eyes of both men on you as you sit with your ankles crossed. You feel Chenle’s body shake as he chuckles—eyes clenched shut as he lets his mouth hang open in pure amusement. It doesn’t take long for Jisung to join him, his face scrunching up as he laughs silently. Jisung brings a hand up towards your hair, tucking a strand behind your ear as he leans in to whisper in your ear. i truly believe that neither half of angelbutter is the "afraid of bugs" one; angel is a seasoned cop and definitely doesn't mind if there's one crawling about, but danny has elected himself nicholas's defender anyways. everytime he sees one of the wee buggers, he gets all like "NICHOLAS, WATCH OUT! DON'T WORRY I'LL GET RID OF IT!" even though he's probably more scared of them than nicholas ever has been.

you may be wondering why nicholas is down a shoe. well, the honest truth is that i was simply unable to draw the shoe right at that angle today,,, it just wasn't coming naturally enough, so i decided "fuck it, it's sock time." you get to come up with your own story as to why he's not got it on.

i did a good chunk of this while rewatching Star Trek (2009) for probably the billionth time now. it'd been a while since i saw Scotty Simon Pegg; was wondering what he was up to :)

also watched the first mission impossible movie with my roommate! i've never seen any of them, though learning that simon pegg is in all of them past III has inspired me to change that. my roommate's just watching with me bc he enjoys them as movies. he's well aware why i'm seeing them, don't worry. slowly inching my way towards becoming a true simon pegg girlie 🫡💪💪💪
