I could rant for hours on end about how much I despise every single aspect of the Blip, but I'll limit myself to saying that yes, Tony indirectly insisting that the trillions of people who undoubtedly died as collateral damage in the Snap should just stay dead is, in my opinion, the single most evil thing he ever did. Also, I think Bruce deserves at least some of the blame for actually listening to him.
And yeah, while I love Clint, I can't stand what Endgame did to him, and the fact that he is never called out is insane.
Wanda is not and should never be a villain.

"I think…" The radio crackles as if he’s clearing his throat. "We don’t want you to be alone anymore."
Pressing her lips together, Wanda swallows thickly. She clears her throat, hoping to find the words she needs to try and dissuade him from following this line of thought. She knows where it leads. She thinks she’s been sensing him following that path since he’d tried to get her to pass the borders of her property and take a thin dirt road leading her to somewhere else. Somewhere beyond her missing them.
"I think you should go," Billy says quietly. "Tommy does, too. But I think you should go somewhere louder. It’s too quiet here, Mom."
"I’m fine, Billy," she says with a light laugh, the sound coming out hollow and fake.
The radio’s static sounds like he’s shaking his head. "No, Mom," he says gently, "you’re not."
Wanda remains quiet. She cannot go where he cannot follow.
"I’ll come with you," he says as if he'd read her mind. He laughs warmly, "Family is forever."
In which Wanda goes to New York, joins a support group, and makes the acquaintance of Monica Rambeau and Trish Walker.

Normally I'd say she's responsible for her actions, but is she really? Her powers, which she didn't even know were there, only awakened in response to her out-of-control emotions, which would not have happened if literally anyone was looking out for her.
I don't blame Wanda Maximoff for doing anything she did. Like maybe if someone checked on her or something the events of WandaVision wouldn't have happened.

Agatha all along thoughts:
something else I realized that was really messed up in Agatha all along. Wanda left the people of Westview to deal with Agatha for three years. Yes they liked Agatha were genuinely fine with taking care of her. But again it's a decision being made for them, another choice being taken from them. Also it's a constant reminder of their trauma and what they went through because of Wanda. With Agatha they constantly have to see what it might have been like under Wanda's control from the outside. No wonder they felt sorry for Agatha and no one spoke her name. No wonder they destroyed the house she was living in. I'd hate her too. Wanda might say she's not a villian and says she feels bad but her actions speak lounder to how she really feels.
Tumblr media
Again like Fuck you Wanda. You are not a hero and you never were one. All you care about is yourself.
(Don't like don't read. Post hate and I'll block you!)

Last night I realized another awful scenario if the rumors of RDJ’s Doctor Doom is a variant of Tony Stark becoming Doom…….
We all know Wanda is coming back to life; she is the darling of MCU female characters, the ultimate “girl boss” to the majority of fans.
What if the plan is when Wanda comes back, she comes back to destroy Doctor Tony Stark-Doom?
It won’t even be about defeating the villain of Doctor Doom; it’ll truly be about Wanda finally being able to prove Tony Stark was always the evil villain she said he was and finally being able to get her revenge for her family.
And only then, after he’s killed, the real Doctor Doom of the MCU will come in.
Like, the sole purpose of bringing RDJ back was just to not only push the narrative of “Tony Stark was always the villain of every universe”, but also “Wanda, no matter how much murder and mind control/manipulation she’s done, was always the true hero of the MCU and always knew the true evil of Tony Stark.”
……….
WHY can’t you just bring in the real Victor Von Doom immediately (whether it be a Romani actor or Cillian Murphy)
WHY must we continue to push the “evil villain Tony Stark” and “girl boss, most powerful/wonderful hero Wanda Maximoff”? Most fans believe that narrative anyway!
I would LOVE to see RDJ back in the MCU…….but how about not with the overused plot of “any Tony Stark is a villain and causes all the problems of the MCU”
You know what would be a good idea? Maybe bring RDJ back as Tony Stark/Iron Man from a world where every one trusted him from the beginning of becoming Iron Man.
A world where maybe, just maybe, Thanos failed the first time around because the Avengers didn’t immediately dismiss Tony when he warned them of what was coming!!!!
But noooooo, fans don’t want to see that! They want to see more of the same narrative they’ve been pushing since the beginning even though there are so many moments that prove that narrative to be false that writers/directors/fans choose to ignore!

Was considering writing an ask to you about this, only to find you made a great post about it over a year ago.
I’m absolutely disgusted with the hate Wanda gets from Age Of Ultron. Tony stans say she’s a villain who “mind r*ped” Tony and deserves to die. I even saw a few fanfics where Tony r*pes Wanda so she “knows how it feels” I almost threw up 🤢
Okay that last line left me speechless. What in the actual fuck is wrong with people? That's... I can't even form a sentence right now, holy shit.
(It took me a minute to start writing again)
So, back to AoU. I thought it was obvious that what Wanda did was show him his worst nightmare and as he had been traumatized after the NYC invasion his fear was that attack happening again but this time the team losing and the planet being lost.
[As an aside, funny how Marvel never mentions that the other Avengers were traumatized by that attack too? That they didn't know about alien life before that day either? That all of them were fighting there, especially Steve mere weeks after being defrosted? Funny how that's never brought up in any movie, only in IM3]
[And also, people seem so happy to accept that the other characters saw their worst nightmares, why are they so against saying the same for Stark? Nat saw herself being back at the Red Room, Steve's fear is his own PTSD, Thor saw the demise of Asgard. But when it comes to Stark he saw the future? Nah, he saw his own fear but his arrogance convinced him he had seen what others did not]
Anything that happens after that nightmare is 100% Stark's responsibility. Nobody is forcing him to do anything, he's in sound mind and knows very well what he's doing:
Banner: "So you're going for artificial intelligence, and you don't want to tell the team?"
Stark: "Right. That's right. You know why? Because we don't have time for a city hall debate. I don't want to hear "the man was not meant to meddle" medley. I see a suit of armor around the world."
Banner: "Sounds like a cold world, Tony"
Stark: "I've seen colder. This one, this very vulnerable blue one, it needs Ultron. Peace in our time. Imagine that."
He's talking about peace but he means control. That's a constant in his characterization ever since AoU. His stance in CW is exactly the same: the team can't operate freely, they need to be under the control of someone else. Then in FFH we find out he had built Edith, the ultimate device to control everyone on Earth and at no point during the movie it is discussed if the existence of Edith is right or wrong, quite the opposite: the plot is about who gets to wield that power.
Ultron is Stark's fault (and Bruce's too). He even admits it in CW albeit in a rather manipulative way to get Steve to sign but anyway.
What pisses me off is how ready the stans are to condemn Wanda. They will look for a thousand excuses to defend Stark - even when he tries to murder Bucky in cold blood - but for her she's always a villain, a monster, no context is allowed, her state of mind is irrelevant, they go straight into calling her terrible names and saying she deserves to die (then make a 180 and say Bucky should die because killing is bad which... WTF?).
Yeah, Wanda has done pretty bad things, I may be a fan of hers but I can admit as much. But the moment she found out what Ultron wanted to do she switched teams, didn't she? Both her and her brother saved a lot of people in Seoul, they joined the Avengers, they fought to save Sokovia, she lost her brother but she stayed with the team, using her powers to do good. Is all that irrelevant because one day she dared fight the sanctimonious Stark? Don't make me laugh.

The Darkhold and its influence (or potential lack thereof)
I recently had a troubling thought about Wanda's future. The number one defense for her in Multiverse of Madness is that Michael Waldron the Darkhold was corrupting her and dictating her actions. I fully buy into that, even though the movie is enragingly vague about it.
The only other people we see with the Darkhold are Sinister Strange and Agatha Harkness. The problem is, we have no idea what either of them were like without it. Maybe Sinister Strange was always a sadistic incel and Agatha was always a psychotic witch.
Since Agatha is getting her own show, I'm both hopeful and worried. I'm hopeful that she will be shown to be a better person now that she is free of the Darkhold's influence, but I'm worried that if the opposite happens and she is more or less the same then a lot of people will take it as definitive proof that the book didn't actually do anything to Wanda and she became a mass-murdering psychopath of her own accord.
As of now it could technically go either way, and that concerns me. Just let my girl redeem herself!

Wanda’s magic takes her to America Chavez after the events of MoM, who decides she wants to give Wanda a chance and takes her to another universe for a fresh start. However, America is sent back to fetch her once the Sorcerer Supreme finds out since letting her remain in the wrong universe risks an incursion. Upon returning to MCU 616, Wanda slowly tries to pick up the pieces from the mess her corrupted self made previously, reunites with a few old friends and is eventually able to make some new ones. Thoroughly a fix-it fic!
(This will be an EXTREMELY minor crossover in the end. Figured I would mention this so no one is disappointed/annoyed! Wanda does not stay outside of her universe for very long. She returns to 616 in ch5.)
=========
Been following this fic for most of the past few months. It’s a pretty good story in regards to providing Wanda a redemption story following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Stop saying that if Tony Stark were alive he'd be laughing at John Walker. He's been right there in the comics as a senior slowly teaching John to be a better hero.
Tony Stark doesn't laugh at John Walker, it's yourselves who want to laugh at John Walker. Don't think of pathetic ooc remarks an give the character away.
Tumblr media
Even though everyone is pissed at John for being an asshole and wanting to kick him off the team, Stark is willing to give him another chance.
Tumblr media
One of the first things Stark did after forming his new team was to implore Wanda to persuade John Walker to stay on the team.
Tumblr media
After John Walker relaxed into the team, Stark was proud to tell Hank Pym that he hadn't been wrong about John
Tumblr media
Even if you guys say that comics are comics and the MCU is the MCU.
The first person Stark would mock if he was alive would be Steve Rogers who abandoned his friends and went back to live in the past, not John Walker who worked hard to try and protect more people.
The MCU's Stark still tries to teach Wanda to be a hero after the way she's treated him and the Avengers (though maybe his tactics are more like restricting personal freedom).
Why would you guys think that Stark would taunt a very hard working soldier who was just pushed out by the US government to be a mascot, but accidentally wants to do real work to protect others so badly? Do you guys think Stark is some kind of crybaby tantrum kid who loses Steve Rogers?
Tony Stark doesn't laugh at John Walker, it's yourselves who want to laugh at John Walker. Don't think of pathetic ooc remarks an give the character away.

As Wanda is my favorite MCU heroine, I would say that if they shoved her (and not Saint Peggy) into everything, things would be better for everyone. 😂 Especially after that heroic deed she performed in Multiverse of Madness that was taking out the Illuminati version of Peggy. 😁
Plus idk why but there’s something that bothers me to no end about Peggy being once again forcibly shoved in an episode she had no business being in. Like, what was the reason to have her crash the 1602 episode?
The episode where apparently Steve scratched the time stone and ended up in the 17th century had the best chance to be one of the best of the season, with the avengers stuck in what basically seems to be a Medieval AU straight out of Ao3
So like, top teir shit
And so I wonder, WHAT does Peggy have to do with the main avengers?? Is it so hard to have the avengers do one thing for themselves? Does the magnificent, multiversal pain in the butt Peggy have to be there too? WHY
The Christmas episode was literally a 2012 fic and I’m sure most people loved it, especially bc the avengers were all there and together. This could have been the chance to do it. Instead they need to once again shove Steggy and effing Peggy Carter down our throats and create an episode where Steve is all lovey dovey with the girl he knew for like a year and, by the time of IW, he had completely gotten over (not counting endgame bc all his character development regarding Peggy was flushed down the toilet to have the ending “make sense”).
The fact alone that Peggy, minor character with way too much screen time, has more scenes than effing Wanda Maximoff aka the strongest being in the multiverse is absolutely baffling.

“You all got tricked into feeling bad for Wanda, and then Raimi/Waldron pulled off the veneer 🤓”
I’ve subjected myself to a lot of bad Wanda takes, but few of them have made me as mad as this one. I first saw it back when it was posted, but I recently stumbled across it again, and figured it was worth sharing.
Tumblr media
“MoM finally treated Wanda like the monster she is 🤡”
Tumblr media
I love the use of the term “sympathy-bait” to imply that she doesn’t deserve mercy, or that her pain is irrelevant.
Tumblr media
“Wanda is an irredeemable monster who does not deserve sympathy, and the fact that she got it is wrong 😡!”
Also, LMFAO at the idea that MoM was faithful to her character. Get fucked!
Tumblr media
Holy shit, imagine unironically thinking Wanda is more evil than Thanos, or that the Darkhold didn’t actually change her.
However, as much as I hate to give this fucker any credit, I have to agree that no one will ever trust another redemption story for Wanda.
Tumblr media
“MoM treated Wanda the way she deserves to be treated.”
So yeah, I hate every word of this take. It’s clear to me that this user didn’t want to feel sympathy for Wanda, and was relieved when Raimi and Waldron gave them what they wanted to the point where they tried to twist everything that came before to make this look like the natural direction of things.
