A whale will stop breathing and fall to the depths of the ocean. Its death brings life in the gargantuan source of food it becomes. The gradual disintegration providing the essentials of survival to the microscopic and sedimentary organisms that thrive in crushing depths.

The whale has fallen. Ditched the shroud of previous evolutions so that it may sink and nourish those still gaining strength. A parrotfish bursting free from the mucus cocoon of constrictions too tight and opinions much too loud.

Let the pressure feast on the remnants of the woman I used to be.
