MTG color analysis: furry visual novels second round
Years ago I made an analysis about furry visual novel protagonists and their color alignment. My conclusion was that they were all over the place, but mostly on Boros colors
Let's do a do-over and see if that's still the case
Echo Project
Chase is still Blue/Black, Sam Red/GreenWhite, Marco Red with potentiality towards Red/White or Black/Red, Scipio is Blue/Green/Black, Cam is still Red/Black (with the full released game he shifts to mono-Green) and Dev is still Red/Green.
We have an addition in Alex from Glory Hounds , which is primarily Black aligned, since he's into the superhero busieness for pay and excitement, but by no means a bad person.
Tally: 2 white, 2 blue, 5 black, 4 red and 4 green
Dawn Chorus
Arvo is still Red/Blue
Tally: 2 white, 3 blue, 5 black, 5 red and 4 green
Minotaur Hotel
The player can still be any color.
Tally: 3 white, 4 blue, 6 black, 6 red and 5 green
Lands of Fire
Kubbadang is still mostly Black, but I think I added some Blue as I wrapped up the game.
Tally: 3 white, 5 blue, 7 black, 6 red and 5 green
Fueled by Insanity
The protagonist is still mono-Red
Tally: 3 white, 5 blue, 7 black, 7 red and 5 green
Password
Dave is still primarily white
Tally: 4 white, 5 blue, 7 black, 7 red and 5 green
I. C. O. Machina Lutris
The game has been rebooted, but I think Judah is still primarily Black aligned, though with some White added
Tally: 5 white, 5 blue, 8 black, 7 red and 5 green
Socially Awkward
Jayce is still Red/Green
Tally: 5 white, 5 blue, 8 black, 8 red and 6 green
Lyre
Richter is still mostly White, but with Blue traits having cropped up since before.
Tally: 5 white, 6 blue, 8 black, 8 red and 6 green
Eden's Reach
Adrian is still primarily Red, but some White traits have been revealed as he claims he likes how his music unites people.
Tally: 6 white, 6 blue, 8 black, 9 red and 6 green
Pervader
Reamus is still very Green/White, but it was reasoned by a friend to me that he could also be part blue due to his desire to learn and practise more.
Tally: 7 white, 7 blue, 8 black, 9 red and 7 green
In Case of Emergency
Kieran's personality is still primarily Green with the various options for an additional color
Tally: 8 white, 8 blue, 9 black, 10 red and 8 green
London's Aesop
Ah, how I wish this hasn't been cancelled, Ethan's still Red/White.
Tally: 9 white, 8 blue, 9 black, 11 red and 8 green
Brave Paradise
Another one I wish hasn't been cancelled. Emilio is still Red/Green
Tally: 9 white, 8 blue, 9 black, 12 red and 9 green
Violet Memoir
Wallace is still a nice example of White/Blue/Black
Tally: 10 white, 9 blue, 10 black, 12 red and 9 green
Far Beyond The World
'Caelan' is still Black/Red
Tally: 10 white, 9 blue, 11 black, 13 red and 9 green
Shelter
Still Red/White for our protagonist
Tally: 11 white, 9 blue, 11 black, 13 red and 9 green
Now with some new additions I like
Remember The Flowers
Cyrus starts off as pretty Green, accepting his fate, but becomes White as he decides to defend his new found family and put an end to combat Resoom.
Tally: 12 white, 9 blue, 11 black, 13 red and 10 green
Polar Night
Garret Reid is pretty Black/Red, being only there because his mother ordered him to. In general he's not a bad person and even friendly to some of his crew mates, but clearly looking out for himself foremost
Tally: 12 white, 9 blue, 12 black, 14 red and 10 green
Super Nova
Nick is very White aligned, intending to fulfill Templar's legacy out of duty and a desire to help others, but you can play him to be a bit more Red and be looking for excitement.
Tally: 13 white, 9 blue 12 black, 15 red and 10 green
Hearts Faster Than Light
Dawn is very Green/White, wanting to help and heal others.
Tally: 14 white, 9 blue, 12 black, 15 red and 10 green
Soulcreek
The main character is very Blue, being a tabula rasa wanting to find out questions about his whole existence. You can play him to have a bit of a temper but I don't thtink even that makes him Red.
Tally: 14 white, 10 blue, 12 black, 15 red and 10 green
Repeat
Euca is very horny and playfully, so mono-Red it is
Tally: 14 white, 10 blue, 12 black, 16 red and 10 green
Temptation's Ballad
Cole is Black/Red, being mainly selfish and having some crippling doubts about being a good person. Sidd is Blue/Green, being nerdy as well as instinctual in his combat abilities. Artemi is Red/White as she is devoted to do good, but has a temper, seeks freedom and has lightning based powers to boot, unlike her order's light based ones.
Tally: 15 white, 11 blue, 13 black, 17 red and 11 green
A Masquerade in the Woods
One of my new personal favourites. The main character is Red/White, having been wronged by both criminals and the police and seeking justice.
Tally: 16 white, 11 blue, 13 black, 18 red and 11 green
Results
Once more, Boros colors seem to win, but Black is very closely behind, perhaps because edgy or selfish protagonists are the next go to outside purely heroic or hedonistic ones. Green and Blue still remain side colors, but much better represented since last time, perhaps because nerds and people who seek connection are also becoming valid protagonist choices.

Letter from... A sports activities studying listing
A college classmate and I have been discussing what number of unread issues we had of the magazine The Sportstar. We have been invested deeply in the game and the mag was our window into the world of Steffi Graf and Mohammad Azharuddin, my favorites then. If I had extra unread issues of the magazine, it intended I had spent longer reading for the assessments—and for this reason destined for better outcomes. The other day, brought about with the aid of a Facebook put up, I certainly recollected this conversation, which befell many years in the past.
The submit soliciting for recommendations for sports books got me questioning: As adults, we equate the summer season with heat, fatigue, inflammation, mangoes, and a lack of urge for food. But as youngsters, summer became a completely satisfied time of vacations and game—playing and reading about it (especially, in case you grew up in small-city India). In the olden days, television showed you what took place in suits, but newspaper and magazine articles informed you what happened off the sphere as well. I binge study Sunil Gavaskar’s Sunny Days one summer time vacation, fascinated to have got admission to a participant’s non-public thoughts within the days earlier than sanitized syndicated newspaper columns and Instagram.
What makes books on or through sportspersons or books on recreation itself exciting? While the rest of us mortals are nonetheless handling homework and what to do for the duration of vacations, pinnacle athletes are already single-mindedly pursuing excellence. Nadia Comaneci, for example, became an Olympic champion in gymnastics at 14.
While the relaxation people are starting to select careers or chase promotions, sportspersons are already “retired”. They tour the world, cope with a huge variety of human beings, undergo more ache and ecstasy and develop up faster than the rest folks—Sachin Tendulkar is a working example. Their lives are tales of persistence, dedication, and complications, which can be motivating and heartbreaking and oh-so-authentic. It takes passion, and pain, to get to the pinnacle of the wearing global. For instance, while jockey Pesi Shroff, who had retired after a protracted, illustrious career, become asked in an interview what he might do next, he stated, “eat”. Jockeys should maintain their weight strictly below control, which restricts their weight loss program.
Sports books combine the first-rate attributes of fiction and non-fiction. I am a mean—and pretty gradual—reader. But the buddy’s put up reminded of some books I even have examined and hints from different friends allowed me to feature to a developing reading wishlist. I am simultaneously reading Joe Moran’s Shrinking Violets: The Secret Life of Shyness, which although now not a sports activities e-book, has a bankruptcy analyzing the reticence of George Best and Bobby Charlton and how it manifested in their video games. Comaneci’s visit to India recently sparked my interest in Lola Lafon’s The Little Communist Who Never Smiled, which tells (and reimagines) her life as a young female in a rustic below a totalitarian government, detailing the rigors of a tough sport like gymnastics and indicates us how truth may have so many versions. Coincidentally, my previous couple of books has been sport-related. Like the Manchester United footballer’s autobiography, I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which is brutally honest, as is to be expected. Brilliant Orange: The Neurotic Genius of Dutch Football by using David Winner is an older ebook that unravels the u. S . A .’s dominance in the sport in the nineteen seventies. Peter Oborne’s Wounded Tiger: A History of Cricket in Pakistan is a great nostalgic journey and solutions that everlasting question: How did Javed Miandad play beneath Imran Khan with out rebelling?
A cinematic e-book is The Boys inside the Boat by way of Daniel James Brown, that is the proper tale of the University of Washington rowing crew that received a gold medal at the 1936 Olympics—watched by way of Hitler. Not extraordinarily, the rights to produce a movie were bought by way of a first-rate Hollywood studio, in line with news reviews. One of the maximum entertaining books you will locate is Andre Agassi’s Open, a sincere, brisk autobiography of a witty and interesting tennis player. Nick Hornby’s a whole lot-acclaimed memoir Fever Pitch—which has when you consider that its launch in the early 1990s grow to be conventional—gave a start to a generation of Arsenal fanatics. The over a decade-vintage Mumbai marathon has produced a generation of runners, and wannabe runners, in Mumbai as a minimum. I become one in all them a few years ago and found, continuously, books which can be most encouraged. One is the charming Born to Run: The Hidden Tribe, the Ultra-Runners, and the Greatest Race the World Has Ever Seen with the aid of Christopher McDougall. I am reminded of the ebook whenever (befell extra than once) I see actor-became-full-time runner Milind Soman pounding at the chaotic streets of Mumbai on steaming afternoons, running barefoot. The other is the extra reflective What I Talk About When I Talk About Running through Haruki Murakami. He makes you experience like getting up and placing off for a run right then, ideally whilst persevering with to study.
The moment you Google a listing of incredible sports books or ask for hints, a few names crop up robotically. Some of them are Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game by means of Michael Lewis (no longer study it, but I actually have seen the film); Sports Gene: Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance by means of David Epstein (in ownership, but yet to begin); and the award-triumphing ebook on Muhammed Ali called King of the World by using David Remnick. All this studies and “Facebooking” has given me a few stable hints for the next few months (or years). These at the moment are brought to my Amazon/Flipkart wishlists—it does not always suggest I will buy them but lets in for the choice of getting some as presents. They encompass Jon Krakauer’s actual tale of an Everest expedition Into Thin Air; A Good Walk Spoiled through John Feinstein on golf; some other award-winning biography Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life via William Finnegan; and Futebol: The Brazilian Way of Life by Alex Bellos.
Upon a relative’s insistence—she has requested me numerous instances if I even have examined these—I am also considering books on Nike—Shoe Dog: A Memoir by using the Creator of Nike via Phil Knight and Swoosh: Unauthorized Story of Nike and the Men Who Played There by using J.B. Strasser—and Sneaker Wars: The Enemy Brothers Who Founded Adidas and Puma and The Family Feud That Forever Changed the Business of Sports by Barbara Smit. The flipside of getting a virtual wishlist, though, is that you add to it recklessly. I even have had String Theory: David Foster Wallace on Tennis in my listing for 3 years now—it’s long past thus far down that I don’t see it anymore. Frank Brady’s Endgame is accumulating dirt in our bookshelf—now not intentionally, of course. I was magnetically pulled toward the ebook—it lines the upward push and fall of the enigmatic chess champion Bobby Fischer—after analyzing its evaluation with the aid of Garry Kasparov some years ago. I will get thru them, at some point. What sums up my reading is a small, approximately ninety-page, e-book I bought in 2012 and also have now not study. It’s called Don’t Buy This Book Now! The Art of Procrastination by way of John Perry. But allow’s live fine. Summer’s simply all started—there’s plenty of warm wearing movement but to come. In between that movement, maybe a touch reading can assist inspire—genuine existence tales of valor can be so much extra uplifting than fiction or Marvel Studio releases. Like me, you can make up for the dearth of carrying skills with the aid of analyzing approximately others who have an abundance of it. Maybe there are a few suggestions here to get commenced with.
Letter From… Is Mint on Sunday’s antidote to boring editor’s columns. Each week, one in every of our editors—Sidin Vadukut in London and Arun Janardhan in Mumbai—will ship dispatches on places, humans, and institutions which can be really worth ruminating about at the weekend.

Letter from... a sports reading list
You’re really going to do better within the checks, he instructed me. A school classmate list and that I have been discussing What number of unread problems we had of the magazine The Sport Letter

Building Your First List Building Funnel
The first few steps you take when building a list will lay the foundation for your business. Once you have these things in place, you can then focus on other things such as driving traffic to your squeeze pages and product offers as well as editing your sales messages in order to improve your conversion rates.
1. The first step you will need to take is to create a lead magnet, also known as an ethical bribe. This could be a PDF report, a video, audio, cheat sheet, mind map or anything else that will be desirable to your future subscribers.
2. You next need to set up your opt-in form. This could be on a squeeze page, a blog, on your content site or even on various social media sites. However, the best one to use is a squeeze page although you should include all of these methods plus more in your list building endeavors. This is where you’re going to be giving away your ethical bribe in exchange for your visitors’ names and email addresses.

Violet Memoire x Male!reader (Romantic hcs)
Basically how they would act in a romantic relationship with you, the reader. Here is the link to the VN. Enjoy reading!
Pairings: Oscar, Leigh, Lucas, Wallace x m!reader (seperate)
Characters mentioned: Selwyn, Charlie, Aure
Genre: Fluff, light angst
Warnings: Crying, cursing, talking about past trauma (though not in detail), not proofread
Oh boy
Get ready for constant teasing
I mean.. what did you expect?
If you aren't than I don't believe you
Now Oscar is 6'7'' meaning you are most likely shorter than him
He's definitely going to like either ruffle your hair or he's going to lean on your head
However if you don't want him to do that and make it obvious he'll stop
Will for sure make A LOT of dirty jokes and refrences but he will tone it down if it makes you uncomfortable
If your guys' relationship lasts long enough he will open up about his past to you
Make sure you tell him that you are listening and comfort him if you have to because he doesn't show this side of him often
And when he comes to a particular hard memory and you hug him and tell him he's got nothing to worry about..
He starts crying.
First they are soft sniffles but then quickly they turn into full on sobs
You honestly thought he doesn't cry because of very positive aura (dumb I know)
He's crying because it hits him that you are actually by his side and he does have nothing to worry about
It surprised you that the Oscar started crying
Back to fluff
But you put your shocked feelings aside to comfort Oscar
Like that one time where he took you to your favorite restaurant and you spend the majority of the night talking with each other about nothing and everything
While Oscar is teasing you and making sex jokes most of the time he does have his romantic moments
Or where he prepared a big picnic for you both on a hill
Or he took you swimming with Selwyn and you almost drowned
WILL pick you up out of nowhere and just.. carry you
All in all he's a great S/O
Yes
Just yes
He's SOOOOO loving and caring towards you
Also very protective
Like he will always walk beside you and give the heaviest death glare to anyone who's even looking at you wrong
You just mean SO much to him
This dude got trauma. Obviously
We just don't know what it exactly is (We have public build 13 as I'm writing this)
He's not secretive about it
He just says that his father was an asshole and that his mother is dead
He won't elaborate any further though
You need patience with him if you want know more about him
Eventually he will sit down with you and explain everything. From beginning to end
He won't cry while explaining. He just spaces out a bit and doesn't say anything until he continues.
At the end of it he is very nervous about your reaction
He's scared that you will leave him
However when you put your hand slowly on his own and he looks back up at you and sees you softly smiling at him, he's relieved
You reassure him that you will always stay by his side
Okay back on track
Late night cuddles on the couch are just perfect with him
Unfortunetly this doesn't happen often since 1. He has college and 2. He has to work for both himself and his sister
If you offer money to him or suggest he and Charlie can stay at your place, he will refuse
He doesn't want to bother you (which he doesn't)
You still suggest it from time to time
Also speaking of Charlie
You are BFFs with her
Like from the moment you meet
You both talked about different things like sports, hobbys, food, games etc.
You were already planning a trip with her
(And Leigh regrets introducing you two.)
You will definitely go to at least one of her games. Especially if Leigh can't make it.
10/10
I love Leigh so fucking much it's not funny anymore
Our favorite grumpy fox
He is very romantic which may come off as a surprise
Like he gets you a bouquet of flowers out of nowhere
He hugs you from behind and tries to kiss your cheek
I'm saying tries because he is most likely shorter than you (he's 5'2'')
He will try to keep you in bed in the morning for cuddles when his schedule is empty
If he needs to calm down because he's anxious about something he will tightly hold your hand and quietly ask if you guys can go
You two will have little study dates in the library
They are really great because it's quite and cozy and you get things acutally done and the atmosphere is just great
If you don't understand something then you can ask Lucas for help and vice versa
That one time you both fell asleep holding hands with one another and it's just <3
Also cuddles with him are just great
He doesn't mind if he's the little or big spoon though he likes it if you hold him
He will also lay his head on your chest listening to your heartbeat
Aure will definitely take pictures of you two
Speaking of
Aure is gushing over you two SO MUCH
He'll try to take you both clothes shopping to get cute matching outfits for you and Lucas
Lucas is so done with his shit but let's it happen and you two actually look cute at the end of the day
Lucas gets more confident ever since he met you
His temper is also a bit better
He's a sweet boy
Shy boy all the way
Will constantly question how he got such an amazing and handsome boyfriend
Like your so kind and fucking hot like-
That leads to him thinking he doesn't deserve you
Please reassure him that this isn't true
He needs it
Wallace isn't really experienced when it comes to relatinships but he tries his best
Like he'll try to cook something for you
But the first time he tried to he almost burned down the kitchen
He's getting better though
He's probably smaller than you
I mean this weasel is 5'3''
Wallace feels like he has to introduce you to his parents as soon as possible
Only an inch taller than Lucas
You tell him that he only has to introduce you guys if he feels ready to do so
He feels really anxious ever since he found the diary
So he needs your help from time to time
Like you need to comfort him and keep him grounded
You also need to stop him from reading too much
Back to fluff (I really love getting off track)
You take him on dates since he's too shy to do that
(I'm sorry I ran completly out of ideas for Wallace and Lucas. Sorry to dissapoint)

We care about you
Hello everyone! Before I begin a quick disaclaimer. I'm not the best at writing. To be percise I am terrible because english isn't my first language :,). BUT I will try my best. And please Check the VN out it's amazing so far and deserves more attention!
What if in the furry Visual Novel Violet Memoir the protagonist, Wallace, has a brain tumor and he's trying to keep it a secret from his friends but a certain Possum finds out?
WARNING: DESCRIPTION OF A ROTTING BODY, CRYING, MENTIONING OF A TUMOR, MENTIONING OF DEATH, SELF-HATRED SPEECH
Why am I hiding it from them?
I can trust them. They have only been kind towards me and showed that they care about me. So why am I hiding it from them? Is it because I'm scared that they would be disgusted by me? Or that they will maybe hate me if I tell them? No, that's not possible.. right?
I look outside of the window for a few seconds, blink and than look away. I am currently sitting in a more isolated area of the library waiting for Leigh. Originally the entire group wanted to meet here for the project but they were all busy except Leigh and Me. So we decided that we two would work on the project and would try to do as much as possible.
I look at the window again but this time focus on my reflection. I see myself but my head looks like it's slowly rotting.. like a corpse withering away. Because I see myself dead already. I'm not sure how long until the tumor kills me but probably not long. I most likely won't be alive when the group needs to present the project. And that's unfair.
"You're useless", I whisper to the reflection in the window that represents my future. "You're completly useless, Wallace. They don't need you. They don't want you. They will probably will be relieved when they find out that you will be gone soon." It felt like I wasn't saying those things but someone else was saying those things through my body. Just like a puppet.
It kept saying those harsh things and it got louder with each second. Just as it was about to say something else, another voice was heard.
"Kid?" The voice was shakey and filled with concern and worry. A few seconds of agonizing silence passed before the voice spoke again. "Kid, what happened? What do you mean with all those things?" I turned around to make sure it's who I believe it is. Leigh.
He had his usual outfit. A black leather jacket with a red shirt underneath and black Jeans. He looked at me with so much worry and concern like he actually cares about me. But it's just an act.
Before I even had the chance of saying something he dashed towards me and scooped me up in his arms and held me tightly. He was shacking, his breathing was slightly hitched and he held me so tight that I thought I might suffocate. "Please. Please don't say stuff like that because it's not true. We are so glad you're here. I am glad you are here. We may have known eachother for only a few days but around you I can be myself. I haven't been able to do that in quite some time so please don't say that you don't matter because you do." He said all of that in one go. I needed a few seconds until his words hit me but when they did I started tearing up. He cares about me. Actually cares about me. They all do. Luckily we were in a secluded area so no one heard my cries of happiness.
After a few minutes I finally calmed down and we pulled aways from each other. I looked at his face and he had tears in his eyes. We both sat down and there was an awkward silence between us until he finally started speaking. "Do you wanna talk about it, Wallace?" He was beeing very careful with his words. I wasn't in a state to actually say it but I could maybe show him the X-ray picture. I opened my phone and went to my Gallery. I searched for about fifteen second until I finally found it. I clicked on it and I gave Leigh my phone. He took it with slight confusion but when he looked at it his confused face turned into one of shock. He just stared at it and said nothing. It felt like everything was staying still. Not even the winds blew or the birds chirped outside. It was making me sick. He finally put the phone on the table and gently pulled me into his arms. My head was resting against his chest so I was able to hear his rapid heartbeat. He said nothing just held me there. It was comforting. So comforting. After a few minutes passed he whispered in my ear only one question: "How long do you have?" It was straight forward to the point. I stayed silent at first but eventually answered. "I'm not sure but the doctor said not long so maybe one or two weeks?" The moment I finished my answer, he flinched and his grip got tighter on me. "It's not fair", he started, "it's not fair that someone like you has to suffer this much. You are too young to leave this world. Isn't there really a cure for your tumor?" I just shaked my head no since I didn't trust my voice at all at the moment.
We sat there for what felt like hours until he stood up. "I promise I'm gonna make those weeks the best of your life. And if you allow me to tell me my sister, she would also spend time with you. The same with the group. Am I allowed to tell them", he asked with so much warmth in his voice that my knees got weak. "Um, yeah, yes. You can tell them. I guess it will be better this way. But you don't have to-", before I could finish my sentence he interupted me. "Of course I do! We are not gonna leave you alone in the dark! Especially me!" It was filled with so many emotions that one sentence. I just nodded at him with slight shock. He took my arm and started to pull me towards the Exit of the library, the project completly forgotten but that doesnt matter anymore.
I am gonna spend the rest of my life with my newly made friends.
