🍞✨I thank God for drawing me near to His table, where true joy and peace are found. In a world that pulls us in so many directions, Psalm 1 reminds us that those who delight in the Lord will be like trees planted near living water—strong, fruitful, and unwavering.
Friends, let’s not waste a single day chasing what the world offers, but instead invite others to the blessings God has prepared. Hope in the Lord, walk in His ways, and watch how He prospers the soul that trusts in Him.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 1:1-2, 3, 4 and 6
R. (40:5a) Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. 🌿
Blessed the man who follows not
the counsel of the wicked
Nor walks in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the company of the insolent,
But delights in the law of the LORD
and meditates on his law day and night.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
He is like a tree
planted near running water,
That yields its fruit in due season,
and whose leaves never fade.
Whatever he does, prospers.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.
Not so the wicked, not so;
they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
For the LORD watches over the way of the just,
but the way of the wicked vanishes.
R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord.

A Walk with Christ
The Walk with Christ event at Maryville University is a time for attendees to take a break from their daily lives to walk out in nature. The goal is to give attendees the opportunity to have a conversation with God while in an environment that encompasses the natural life that he created. In addition, the walk in nature could provide that quiet time for participants to really listen
Hosted on campus, the event will bring together students who know each other, and those who don’t know each other to walk together and listen to the voice of God as you’re taking your steps out in nature. You get the option to choose to walk alone or with a partner for an hour. Walk for 30 minutes in silence, that way you could get the chance to listen for any kind of signs or signals that the Lord is giving to you. You can utilize this time to converse with the Lord about your struggles, emotions, experiences, etc.
After your conversation with the Lord, discuss anything you feel like is worth sharing to your partner, if you have one. If not then you can continue your conversation with the Lord and then after you can share with others back at the library after your walk. Then come back to the library to share what you’ve heard or experienced while walking with Christ. Food will be provided as well as a chance to win a prize in the raffle. This event offers Maryville students to not only take a break from their schoolwork, but also an opportunity to communicate and engage themselves with the Lord as they’re taking a walk with Him.

Imagining Jesus sitting right next to you, what would you say to Him?
Jesus, as I feel your presence beside me, my heart overflows with gratitude for your unwavering love and guidance throughout my journey. In this moment, I am filled with both awe and humility, knowing that you are here with me, witnessing every joy and every struggle I face.
I would first express my gratitude for your sacrifice and the profound love you have shown me, despite my shortcomings and failures. Your presence brings me comfort and reassurance, especially during times of uncertainty and doubt.
I would share my deepest hopes, fears, and struggles, knowing that you understand and empathize with every emotion I experience. Your wisdom and compassion provide me with the strength and courage to persevere, even when the path ahead seems daunting.
I would also seek your forgiveness for any moments when I have strayed from your teachings or failed to live up to your example. Your boundless mercy reminds me that redemption is always possible, and your grace offers me the opportunity to start anew.
Most importantly, I would express my desire to deepen my relationship with you, to walk ever closer by your side, and to live each day in a way that honors your teachings and reflects your love to others.
Thank you, for being my constant companion, my source of hope, and my guiding light. With you beside me, I am never alone, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Walking in the Light of God’s Truth 1 John 2
"Living in the Light: A 1 John 2 Survival Guide"
Introduction: Ever feel like you’re just stumbling through life, trying to figure out how to be a good Christian in a messy world? Well, 1 John 2 offers us a survival guide for living in the light, and trust me, it’s worth a deep dive.

Step 1: Obey His Commandments The first step to surviving (and thriving) as a Christian is obedience. John doesn’t mince words when he says, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar” (1 John 2:4, KJV). Ouch. But here’s the thing: following God’s commandments isn’t just about rules. It’s about living in a way that aligns with His love.
Step 2: Rely on Jesus, Your Advocate We’re going to mess up. Spoiler alert: it happens. But John reminds us that when we do, Jesus is there to advocate for us. That’s not just good news—it’s GREAT news. Knowing Jesus is on our side should give us the strength to keep moving forward.
Step 3: Choose Light Over Darkness John uses light and darkness as symbols for good and evil throughout the chapter. To live in the light is to live in truth, love, and obedience. But the world constantly tries to pull us into the darkness. What’s your light source today? Are you staying plugged into Christ, or letting the shadows creep in?
Conclusion: Shine Bright Living in the light isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. Stay close to Jesus, follow His commandments, and let His light shine through you!

Listen to This Some people demand attention Some are in complete contentment A restless soul certainly is cold A restful soul is merely bold There are moments we are united Most the time we are divided Being a hater is a sad maneuver It makes one feel like a loser There is a way to unite the divide Elevate the power of love inside Put your heart where your mouth is Believe your Higher self can do this Do not listen to the serpent Every soul is important Think of your eternal future The only thing that matters The drums are rolling Soon trumpets blowing The Galactic Federation is preparing for intervention Prepare for the majestic Preferably in the collective Every soul shall be affected Let your objective be effective Author: Lorenza Palomino @godzillionloveandlight 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 #listentothis #walkalongsideofchrist #walkwithchrist #higherself #heremindsyouofmanythings #higherselfknowledge #galacticfederation #galacticfederationofangels #divineintervention #beready #drumsrolling #trumpetsblowing #galacticbrethrens #universe #universalbrothers #universallaw https://www.instagram.com/p/Chk76krPvmE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Walking With Him: A Reflection on the Lenten Journey
Catholics abstain from eating meat during this season, whether on certain days or for the full 40 days, not just to acknowledge the need to turn away from sin, but to open our hearts to God’s love and mercy, which alone makes true transformation possible. Lent is a reminder that we cannot overcome sin by our own strength—we need God’s constant grace.
The Old Testament reveals that no matter how much mankind tried to resist sin, it was never fully possible without divine grace. Again and again, people had to offer animal sacrifices as atonement, yet this was never God’s ultimate desire. As Hebrews 10:4 says, "For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins." These sacrifices were only a shadow of what was to come—the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, who alone could redeem us.
Through Christ, we are no longer bound to the endless cycle of striving and failing. Lent is not only a time of sacrifice but of surrender, where we allow God’s grace to work in us, leading us into true freedom through His love.
The story of Abraham and Isaac is a powerful foreshadowing of what God would one day do for us—but never ask of us. In Genesis 22, God tests Abraham’s faith by asking him to sacrifice his beloved son, Isaac. Just as Abraham prepares to carry out the command, God intervenes, providing a ram in Isaac’s place. This moment reflects God’s ultimate plan: while He spared Abraham’s son, He did not spare His own. Romans 8:32 says, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" Unlike Abraham, we are not asked to make such a sacrifice because Jesus has already paid the price. His death was the fulfillment of what Isaac’s near-sacrifice symbolized—a Father’s boundless love, offering His Son to redeem the world.

Say He won’t do it! Yes, He will. The Lord God will do what He said He will do. Whatever is weighing on your shoulders, turn it over to God. Set yourself free from the bonds on the culture. The Lord God will do what He said He will do. How do I know? Jesus. Christ The Lord. Say He won’t do it! I already know He did it. The world says- Whatever! Shut it down! The world rambles talking like a stinky landfill, full of useless manure. The light of God’s love fills up your soul, nourishing like a loving parent to His family. The Lord God says. The Good Lord does. Say He won’t do it! I already know He did it. How do I know? Jesus. Christ The Lord.
