Labels can influence and manipulate cultural and political narratives. In this episode, Greg and Tanya discuss the complex interplay between language, culture, and Christianity, particularly the recent use of the term "Christian Nationalism" is being used to shape public perception toward Christians negatively.  "Christian nationalism" is a term recently used by various media and political entities to cast Christianity in a negative light, associating it with extremism or societal discord. Such labeling is a strategic effort to control language and, by extension, control how people perceive and react to Christian values in the public sphere. Christians need to understand and engage with, not retreat from,  these dynamics to counteract misinformation and maintain the integrity of their faith in public discourse. Yep, we did it. We've made it 36 years and we are still going strong. Inevitably Tonya and I are asked how have we made it this far. Now I'm not sure if some are asking becasue they are impressed and want to know the secret to our blissful life together or if there is some sort of inuindo there I am missing but for whatever it's workth.
