"He turned completely blue and was lifeless. At that point I just completely blacked out," a mother recalled after her 11-week-old son had breathing issues
A mother is forever thankful to a Taco Bell manager in Richboro, Penn., after she helped save her baby's life.
On April 13, Natasha Long stopped by the fast food joint in Bucks County for some food after running some errands with her 11-week-old son Myles when he began struggling to breathe.
"I ran out of the car and ran around and opened the car door," Long said of the terrifying incident, per ABC affiliate WPVI. "I pulled him out and he turned completely blue and was lifeless. At that point I just completely blacked out. I didn't know what to do."
It was then that Taco Bell manager Becky Arbaugh immediately jumped into action to help after hearing Long's cries for help.
"I threw my headset. I ran outside," Arbaugh recalled. "I took the baby and I started to do chest compressions on the baby and then he finally started to breathe."
Arbaugh — who Long said was her guardian angel — explained how one of her two daughters suffered a similar experience years ago, so she knew to stay calm.
"When my kids were little, my daughter had a similar incident, so I knew what she was feeling," the manager said. "I knew if I kept her calm and I stayed calm, there was no thought in my mind that the baby wasn't going to breathe again."

Myles finally started breathing again, but it's still unknown what caused him to struggle to breathe. He was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for treatment.
"We couldn't be more grateful to Becky," Long, who has been in regular contact with Arbaugh since the incident, told the outlet, adding: "She saved my son's life."
"I just thought of myself as a mom with another mom that needed help," Arbaugh insisted.
Taco Bell didn't immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for comment.

20-year-old woman completely made up story that ‘creepy’ man tried to rape her outside of supermarket, leading him to be wrongly jailed for a month: DA
A man spent a month in jail after being accused of attempting to rape and kidnap a woman in a Pennsylvania supermarket parking lot in April, but there’s just one problem, according to the district attorney: the accuser’s story was completely made up, and she admitted as much when cops confronted her.
The startling turn of events in Bucks County was announced Monday, as 20-year-old Anjela Borisova Urumova, identified as a Bristol Township resident, was charged for lying about the attack.

DA Jennifer Schorn’s office said that Urumova falsely accused Daniel Pierson, 41, of pulling her pants down and striking her outside of a Redner’s supermarket in Middleton Township on April 16.
Pierson went on to face felony charges and spent exactly 31 days behind bars before charges were dropped last Friday and he walked free, the DA said, noting that neither surveillance footage nor Urumova’s iPhone corroborated her claims.
“As part of the investigation, Middletown Township Police collected and reviewed available surveillance video from multiple retailers in the area of the reported attack, and a detective with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office conducted a forensic review of Urumova’s cellphone data,” the DA’s office said. “The review led to the discovery of multiple inconsistencies and contradictory information with Urumova’s account of the attack at the Redner’s parking lot.”
Prosecutors said that police detectives as recently as Friday “confronted” Urumova and got her to admit that she fabricated the allegations.
“This investigation concluded that Urumova falsely reported an attack to police on April 16, and specifically targeted, and later identified, Pierson as her attacker,” the DA’s office added. “Urumova said she gave a description of his truck and identified him because she had seen him and the truck in the past[.]”
Local ABC affiliate WPVI reported that Urumova admitted she falsely accused Pierson because she’d seen him before and believed him to be “creepy.” The defendant further said that her claimed injuries stemmed from an incident with her grandmother, the report said. The complaint obtained by Law&Crime revealed even more about that.
“Her grandmother, who Urumova claimed suffered from dementia, did not recognize her as she entered the house and threw a plastic object at her, striking her in the lip. This incident allegedly caused the laceration to her lip that she later blamed on Pierson,” court documents said.
Authorities said that the defendant specifically described the nonexistent attacker’s truck as having a “Thin Blue Line” sticker on it.

After investigators tracked Pierson down and put him in a photo lineup the following day, Urumova said she was “60% sure” he was the suspect, documents said.
Tumblr media
Court records reviewed by Law&Crime show that Urumova was arraigned Monday on charges for making false reports (two counts), causing false alarm to an agency of public safety, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and for “unsworn falsification to authorities” (three counts).

Bail was set at $30,000, records also show. It’s unclear if Urumova has an attorney yet. She turned 20 years old on May 9.

So, a guy's going about his day, minding his own business and this woman just randomly takes a dislike to him and decides he needs to be disappeared from society.
That's all it took.
Now imagine how much more motivated a spiteful ex or a regretful one-night stand would be. Don't tell me false accusations are rare when they're this easy to make.
Here's the ironic part: studies suggest she's far more likely to be sexually assaulted by another woman in prison than by a man in the free world.

ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES JACLYN LEE AND MELISSA ADAN AS MULTI-PLATFORM REPORTERS
Wendy Fisher, ABC News senior vice president of Newsgathering, sent the following note to the news division announcing that Jaclyn Lee and Melissa Adan are joining ABC News as multi-platform reporters.

Pictured from left: Jaclyn Lee, Melissa Adan
I am excited to share that two new multi-platform reporters are joining our team this week. Jaclyn Lee begins today in New York, and Melissa Adan starts later this week and will be based in Los Angeles.
Jaclyn Lee joins us from our very own WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, where she served as an anchor/reporter since 2020. During her tenure, she spent time in the field, reporting on COVID-19, civil unrest, the 2020 presidential election and the unprecedented 2021 winter storm in Houston. Additionally, in response to the increase in anti-Asian American hate crimes nationwide, Jaclyn pitched and carried out an anti-Asian hate crime PSA that aired on OTV stations across the country.
Prior to WPVI, Jaclyn worked as a general assignment reporter and anchor at WVEC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia. There she sharpened her investigative skills, reporting from the Virginia State Capitol on the blackface scandal and sexual assault allegations facing top state politicians. Jaclyn also spearheaded investigations into crucial shortages in the U.S. Navy, which caused officials to take action. Jaclyn’s work has also taken her around the globe. She reported on protestors against Machu Picchu tourism in Peru, the effort to preserve minority cultures in China, and the large number of sea lions dying in Chile, and she researched the aftermath of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. Before relocating to Virginia, Jaclyn worked in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
Melissa Adan comes to ABC from NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 in San Diego, where she worked as a general assignment news reporter and anchor since 2018. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and her reporting has taken her worldwide. She recently traveled to Vatican City to cover Pope Francis’ appointment of new cardinals, has reported from Mexico on the immigration crisis at the border in Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez, and covered the 2018 migrant caravan in Tijuana. Her reporting in Australia on climate change in the aftermath of destructive wildfires won her a regional Emmy. She received the Al Neuharth Investigative Journalism Award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists for her report on sex abuse and money mismanagement at migrant youth shelters in San Diego.
Previously, Melissa was a reporter/multimedia journalist at NBC 6 in South Florida. She covered many breaking news events, such as the mass shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport, Hurricane Irma and the death of José Fernández, star pitcher for the Marlins. Melissa is a Miami, Florida native and a first-generation Cuban American. She has a master’s degree in criminal justice from Florida International University, a B.S. from Boston University's College of Communication and an A.A. from Miami Dade College, The Honors College.
Both Melissa and Jaclyn are skilled investigative reporters and great additions to our talented teams on both coasts.
Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Melissa and Jaclyn.

A 15-year-old girl is accused of fatally stabbing her grandmother in a “tragic incident” at a Pennsylvania home, according to police and news reports.
Officers in Philadelphia responded to a home at 2 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, for a report of a stabbing, police said. The 15-year-old granddaughter placed the 911 call, police told WPVI.
A 67-year-old woman was discovered with stab wounds to her stomach and right hand, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her granddaughter, according to KYW and WPVI, was identified as the suspect in the fatal stabbing. Police said she was arrested, and the weapon used in the attack was recovered.
It’s unclear what led to the stabbing, only that a “domestic disturbance” preceded the incident, Capt. Anthony Ganard told WCAU. The girl and her grandmother were the only people at the home when officers arrived.
Charges have not been announced as of late Wednesday morning. The grandmother was the legal guardian to the teenager, KYW reported.
Police have not released the identities of the grandmother and girl.
