Brought to you by a Buzzfeed list about skills older generations have that younger ones don't. I have a friend getting a PhD in computer engineering who types while only using their index fingers (27 years old).

I'm 26 and a writer, and I work a corporate desk job, so I think I have a... 94WPM according to typing tests, faster if I'm not having to follow a prompt. Which is not meant to brag, I've been writing books on computers for 9 years and was learning how to type with Mavis Beacon back in 1st grade. I spend a lot of time doing it, thus I am very efficient at it.

So I want to know if that Boomer's blowing smoke on "touch typing being a lost skill". And when I say "correct finger placement" I mean you are typing at speed using all ten (if you have them) with your index fingers on the F and J keys (for a QWERTY, western keyboard).
