Dear Magisowo, id like some legal advice if you have any.

I’m a wizard and have recently acquired and renovated my home into a proper wizard tower. However problem is I’ve been getting harrased by the local HOA, them complaining that my tower is an “eyesore” and “disturbing” their neighborhoods image. My tower was built perfectly legally, I’ve got all the proper building permits and followed all local county tower laws. That still isn’t enough for them as they’ve sent countless “inspectors” who’ve found nothing, and have been sending threats of legal action. Is there any way to get them to stop and do their threats actually hold weight?

That sounds like a horrid situation and let us assure you: this so-called Homeowner Association hasn't got a leg to stand on. Of course neighbours are always free to band together for purposes of mutual support - like establishing a feral griffin watch or communal herb garden - but legal rights are only granted in the case a HOA of owners that share communal real estate. As is the case with apartment complexes where one buys an apartment instead of renting it.

If your home is a detached building and you obtained the proper planning permission, your tower construction is perfectly legal. I imagine these people are threatening to report your building to the urban aesthetics commission, but if you have your papers in order the municipality will have ran your plans by them already. Besides, wizard towers are protected under the Occult Habitat Provision, as studies have shown they are a requirement for performing certain types of magic and frequently attract endangered magical species.

We advise passing this information on to the individuals that are bothering you, asking them politely to stop, and if need be warn them that you will treat their actions as intentional harassment if they continue. We will send you an example of how to keep a log to build a harassment case, if worst comes to worst.

We absolutely can not recommend contacting the Wizard Orb Assistance Helpline (WOAH) and inquiring after the latest neighbour-repelling wards that they have on file under Occult Commons. That would be irresponsible from a community building perspective and as such we would under no circumstances advise you do such a thing.

Jurdan's first kiss vs Oaken's (does oak x wren even have a shipname) first kiss. Both Jude and Suren were trying to prove a point, but which do you prefer and why?

Jurdan’s first kiss <3 (I call Oak and suren oakren, but I also tag their posts as suroak, so *shrugs* use whatever vibes with you 😅)

When Suren kissed Oak, it was with the intention to show him and herself that his flirtation wasn’t sincere, expecting to punish him only to feel punished herself. (and don't get me wrong; this girl's hopelessness, fear, and rage kept me hooked, but her need for love while feeling unable to believe it or let it in, still has me in chokehold)

Whereas when Jude kisses Cardan, her intention is to see just how much he really hates desiring her (in case he's playing her), and then having the knowledge that she is punishing him with the proof that he does want her.

I love jurdan's first kiss more mostly because of the tension between Jude and Cardan. Finally getting to see Jude kinda drunk on power, knowing she has the upper hand, seeing Cardan hold himself back and then being unable to show his desperation, Jude freaking out while enjoying the kiss and throwing her knife aside, and then Cardan barking out a startled laugh after that kiss??? XD And the perfect balance of his confession before the kiss and his determination not to say more about just what he imagined afterwards? I am a SUCKER FOR IT ALL 😩 (Oak and Suren’s scene feels lighter in comparison? And the most we get from Oak in that scene is just how he kisses her back and then tells her that she knows where to find him, like that was all? I really wanted more dialogue from that boy)

Hello, lovely Anon! First of all, thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying all the WIPs (how did I end up with so many WIPs? Lol) 🥺

Second of all, the next fic I am planning to update is hockey Cassian aka Top Shelf Love! I am actually planning to share a snippet of it tomorrow for WIP Wednesday 😉

And then after that it will hopefully be the next chapter of When We Howl. Key word being hopefully 😅 I keep getting stuck because I desperately want to just skip ahead to the chapter after... Where a certain favorite Vanserra will be making an appearance and pulling a "where is my wife?!" moment while Cassian just dumbly gapes and is like "we're allowed to care about our wives? I didn't know that was an option"
