#WINS & LOSSES’

You hated TF141. They were your rival band—born to be enemies, forced into an endless feud. They were arrogant, loud, and always took all the time slots for practice rooms in a petty move against your own band. It was a rivalry that sprouted years ago and had stuck ever since.
You hated them. They hated your band just as much. So why couldn’t you stop fucking their drummer?
You don’t even remember how it began, but you knew it stemmed from a moment of pure, unadulterated hatred. A fit of rage on your end when you discovered one of your amps mysteriously ruined, wrecking the competition for you and causing a loss. You hadn’t an idea who had done it at the time, but you knew it had to be one of the little mutants from TF141.
Ghost had been the first one in your sight, the unlucky bastard who had to hear your outraged tangent about how your band should’ve won, the entire thing was rigged. Granted, he didn’t care, only pitching an argument back on how his band won fair and square and yours didn’t have a chance at winning anyway.
You don’t exactly recall how that caused you to end up trapped beneath him on a lousy couch in a backstage room with his hand wrapped around your throat and your back arching with his hips smashing against your ass, but that was besides the point.
The point was that you were becoming shamefully addicted and no matter how much your hatred for him bubbled with every competition or battle, you always ended up sprawled out on his bedsheets, or letting him into your apartment when he called in the middle of the night.
Every time you tried ending it, telling him you despised him and how much being with him made you sick, he’d snort out an arrogant laugh and puff on that stupid cigarette of his, muttering, “I’ll believe it when I see it, sweetheart.”
It was a never ending cycle and you couldn’t break out of it. It was starting to interfere with your work, spending the nights that you weren’t stuffed full of him writing angry lyrics for new songs to express yourself in the only way you knew how. Practices became sloppy, your work becoming more difficult by the day.
He was to blame for all of it. It made you hate him more. Yet you couldn’t stop. It was the drug your veins needed to pump blood and keep you alive.
Just when you’d find yourself fed up, wanting to break the addiction and telling yourself this time would be different, he’d give you that heated look from beneath his mask while his hands slammed against his drums upon stage, as if saying that performance was for you.
You fell back into the trap every time. Every loss felt doubled, and every win felt like charity. You didn’t care anymore. You just knew you needed your fix and he’d be there waiting with the syringe.

So, how's Israel's ground invasion of Gaza going so far? First, some establishing facts
Now on to the actual war (Once again tweets posted in chronological order)
[Note: whenever you see IDF death count, know that the real number is much higher. The IDF has a problem of soldiers deserting and the leadership doesn't want morale to sink any lower than it already has]
If that's not enough proof that the ground invasion is going poorly (I mean how could it not? It's guerilla warfare and urban warfare against a group of inexperienced cops. They're using tanks y'all), here are a few more indicators.
It's no surprise that they hit Jabalia refugee camp after a day of taking heavy losses and being forced to retreat and they hit Jabalia again a few hours ago after yet another day of heavy losses and retreating. It's all impotent rage as they can't strike hard against Hamas.
Iran has been involved in this from the very beginning. They've been Hamas' main backers for years and Iran affliated groups have been attacking American bases in Iraq and Syria. So if the Iranian Foreign Minister says the ground invasion is going poorly for Israel, he's telling the truth
Israel would not be negotiating if it was winning or making meaningful progress. In fact, it's the pro Palestine side that is controlling the negotiations as you can see above. Israel has been backed into a corner and that's why the Iranian FM feels confident we will see an end to the boardbardment of Gaza
So Yemen declared war on Israel. A lot of people seem to think it's a symbolic act but no, they're very serious
And finally

they seem giggly and smiley on that stage 🥹 but i really wonder how their dynamic is gonna change now bc it's already lowkey one-sided from jannik and like 3/6 of his losses this year were to carlos...
let me preface this by saying that I obviously know nothing about the inner workings of jannik sinner, but here is my two cents
it’s getting mental. jannik has proven that he has the game to beat carlos (he even proved it today imo) but after the iw semi he started playing less confidently against him and that was his downfall. he either went for too much or played it too safe, and he was just overthinking everything. I think if he had been playing just a little looser, he would have won today
and this isn’t the first time this has happened. jannik was pretty bad in their iw23 semi and that was a direct result of the uso22 qf. I think jannik’s problem with carlos right now is that he’s playing to not lose, he’s not playing to win
sincaraz is going through it right now because of jannik constantly losing, but also because he’s not letting himself enjoy the match like he used to. today, carlos got even more amped up when they played a good point, and there were hints of that from jannik (like the “come on!”) but nothing like, say uso or miami or even the smiley rally in iw where he kinda goes with the flow of the tennis. idk if this is making any sense, but it feels like jannik is actively trying be stoic on court where it would normally just come naturally
I think there’s a lesson for jannik to learn in his recent matches against carlos. it’s all part of the Process!

PJSK agere headcanons!
First post, and it’s Project Sekai of course! I’ve written up headcanons for all the characters (Not the virtual singers), sorted by group, and wanted to share!
₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧ Wonderlands X Showtime ₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧
Tsukasa literally raised himself. He’d love being taken care of. Plus he’d ALWAYS put on shows for his caregiver, expecting praise. He loves any pet names relating to star, “My little star” “Shining like the bright star you are” “My darling star” etc. His caregiver singing is the most calming thing ever, or it’ll amp him up because he wants to sing along. He loves acting out stories! Makes bedtime not so calm, but who could be mad at such a cute little star? Probably regress to like 3-5, old enough to function well (For his shows of course!) but he still has the childlike whimsy
Rui best caregiver. He would come up with games for his little, he’d also make them things- Like oh my baby needs somewhere to store their stuffies? It’s ok he’ll make like a giant dollhouse. Need a playpen? Slide and tunnels included. Ball pit, trampoline. Only the best for his little one. He’s also an amazing chef. He’ll make the best meals ever, or if he’s not cooking he’ll arrange his little one’s plate to look absolutely adorable. Always creative with how he does everything
Emu I see either way. She’d either be the cutest little ever. Like 1-4. Almost always nonverbal and explaining with hand movements instead of words. When she does use words it doesn’t raspy make sense. Like, “How are you feeling today?” “Super wonderhoy wuper duper!” Like you can make sense of it but half of the words aren’t real words. Loves her stuffies, cuddle piles for the win. Or she’d be the most fun caregiver ever. Never letting her baby cry. She’s amazing at getting a smile back on that baby’s face if they’re sad, but if they’re sick or something she feels sort of at a loss. She still makes it all better! It just takes wayyy to long and her poor baby seems so uncomfortable
Nene again either way- She’d regress to a decently big age, like 4-7 but be nonverbal. Not because she can’t talk, she just doesn’t want to. Lots of naps and video games. She’d be a bit panicky as a caregiver? Like always worried about messing up and stuff like that. But she’d be so gentle and soft. The best cuddles. Always caring so carefully for her little one
ੈ✩‧₊˚ Nightcord at 25:00 ✩‧₊˚
Kanade would regress fairly big. Like 3-6. Lots of crying but quiet crying. She always wants to be working on something, coloring books are preferred. Very responsible, she can use a big kid cup and everything (Does need a straw though). Hates overly childish things. Don’t give her that overly cute stuff. Wants like old comfy clothes and stuffies. Stuffies that look like. Realistic? Like a cat stuffie needs to be a cat color. Give her a purple cat and she’ll hate it. Monochrome or dull colors like pastels, nothing like neon.
Mafuyu is a baby. Like 1-3. She doesn’t express her needs at all, no crying, no tantrums. She’ll respond to questions but won’t express a need. Like if you ask if she’s hungry she’ll say yes, but she’ll never ask for food. She expresses things on a temperature scale, warm is good, cold is bad. It’s the only way she understands
Ena regresses pretty big 4-6. DRAWING. She expects her caregiver to draw with her, wants her drawings hung up, all that. Give her praise she’s a happy baby. She gets really bratty sometimes though, tantrums are very common. Sometimes she needs to be set down for a nap even if she says she’s fine
Mizuki is just a sweet little girl. Gender affirming nicknames are golden “my good girl” “baby girl” “princess” etc. everything cute, everything pink. Outfits are very important, loves playing dress. Wide age range 2-6. Not embarrassed at all once her caregiver knows, but before that she’ll hide it like her life depends on it. Needs reassurance her caregiver won’t leave constantly
⊚⃝⸜(。∵。) ⋆。°✩ Vivid Bad Squad ⊚⃝⸜(。∵。) ⋆。°✩
An could go either way honestly. Like she regresses but not often. When she does it’s because she’s overwhelmed with self doubt. Regresses fairly big 3-6. She needs praise all the time. If her caregiver makes mistakes sometimes that honestly helps. Makes her feel less behind. For example she loves singing, and she’ll pick songs not in her caregivers vocal range to hear their voice crack
Akito overworks himself and usually drops forcefully. Better watch him or he’ll drop in public, my man does not monitor his own mental state. He’s a big boy like 4-6. Mega brat, insists on having his way. Refuses to do anything productive. Walk to the kitchen for a snack? Nuh uh his caregiver can get it for him. Need to go take a bath? Maybe later. No shame whatsoever either. He can throw an hour long tantrum and won’t even apologize
Toya’s just a baby, 2-5. He’ll try doing work, don’t let him. He’s not allowed near the piano. He’ll get really upset if he doesn’t play something perfectly. Baby needs spoiled. Sweet snacks, a bunch of stuffed animals. He collects pacifiers. He needs them all. REFUSES to let Akito pick his outfits. He will not be looking like a fashion disaster (I love Akito but the three jackets-). Also Toya has a surprisingly good vocabulary. He talks like a big kid then you ask his age and he’s like “Uhm. 3”
Kohane is a caregiver through and through. She’s willing to go along with just about anything her little one wants. She’d not great at offering her own ideas though. Always good at giving options “This or that” “Point to what you want” etc. She will learn ALL the lullabies to sing to get little one. Her voice is so soft and gentle it’ll help anyone sleep. Really bad at saying no, even when she knows she has to. Her little one wants to eat an entire bag of chocolate chips? Better look away from those puppy dog eyes before she finds herself saying yes
.☘︎ ݁˖ More More Jump .☘︎ ݁˖
Haruka I see as a caregiver??? Like yes she overworks herself but like. Idk I just can’t see her regressing really. Always performs concerts for her little one and lets them participate. Plans them a regression schedule and activities. Snacks are prepped for easy access. Always has a bottle or sippy cup ready to grab and go. Carries a pacifier just in case. She’s so responsible
Minori is a caregiver. She’s her little’s biggest fan ever. Anything her little does it met with applause and praise. Loves hanging up their drawings, keeps one in her wallet even. She’s really creative in making up stories for stuffed animals to act out but she can literally only do one voice- She’s so bad at voice acting but she tries
Airi I feel like is just a sweet little thing, 2-4. Mostly non-verbal BUT she will talk and talk and talk for her stuffed animals. Amazing at all the different voices. Doesn’t wanna sing, just hums and dances. She loves sweet snacks but gets anxious it’ll ruin her figure. She likes listening to music and making up dances, but really really likes it if her caregiver dances and she can copy them
Shizuku is a tiny baby, 1-3. No thoughts in her head, just baby. Non verbal but will babble her caregivers ear off. She doesn’t do anything the requires thinking, no games, do dancing, no drawing. She will color, she will watch shows, she loves listening to stories and watching her caregiver. Also LOVES nap. This baby is a napper. Give her a bottle of warm milk and she’s out
✩♬ ₊˚. Leo/Need ✩♬ ₊˚.
Ichika is a tiny one, 1-4. She’s a nervous baby, never wants to be a burden. She cries a lot and has the sweetest softest little voice. Very clingy, she loves getting attention. If her caregiver seems upset sometimes she’ll force herself out of headspace because she feels like she needs to comfort them. This leads to yucky side effects like headaches and sudden uncontrollable drops
Saki is a big girl! 3-5, she wants people around. Play dates are her favorite thing ever. Loves anything she can do with people, games, coloring, singing, you name it. Loves messing with her synth settings to make funny noise’s. She always wants to go places and do things but her caregiver has to stop her because people outside can be judgmental ):
Shiho is tiny and more consistent with her age range, 2-3. Mostly nonverbal but pretty good vocabulary, just chooses not to talk. She’s pretty self sufficient, but she appreciates the help so much. A simple thing like her caregiver holding her bottle for her means so much to her. She mainly just wants to go to sleep immediately, not really one for just hanging out in headspace
Honami is a wide wide range, 2-6. She always tries taking care of her caregiver in the cutest little ways. Feeding them her food, offering them her drinks, always wrapping them in blankets. Likes playing doctor a lot. Overall just a happy girl. If she’s sad she cries a bunch but praise her and she’ll be all smiles soon enough!
Sorry if this is OOC! I thought I did a pretty good job, but I haven’t read all the stories yet. Might do this with BSD next? If I do that’ll be in multiple parts though…

Pokemon Horizons Episode 61 Review - Flow And Ryme
We’re finally at Montenevera Town so Roy can do his Implementation Test, but doesn’t this episode feel a little clunky? I feel like they were trying to squeeze in so many things before Roy did his battle but the battle went by super fast, like a snowstorm, and it just ends. Please tell me I’m not the only one who had this feeling?
The kids have some free time before battling Ryme as she’s not in her Gym, so they meet a bunch of Greavard. I like that creepy Pokedex entries continue to make their appearance in the anime as the kids learn that Greavards suck life essence from those around them. Speaking of creepy Pokemon, Terapagos gets itself into danger again when two Drifloon kidnap it by carrying its bag straps. I could only sigh at this scene because Terapagos wandering off and getting into danger has become tiresome to watch. Though, it was amusing how the Drifloon were carrying it because it is known for taking children or Pokemon to the afterlife. Does this hint that Terapagos is going to die?
Nemona makes a reappearance when she shows up to rescue Terapagos from falling. She’s here to hope to get a battle at Ryme’s concert. Like how Terapagos gets into danger as a recurring thing, Nemona getting denied a battle seems to be a recurring thing as well. I wonder if Nemona is being set up to be Roy’s rival or to battle Roy in the future.
Then we get to the battles. Roy battles MC Sledge before battling Ryme. While Roy does get a win from MC Sledge, he loses to Ryme rather harshly. He loses his momentum when things get too desperate, he terastalizes but doesn’t even get to use it as Fuecoco gets knocked out. I have a lot to say about the battle against Ryme. It’s way too fast-paced. The moment it starts, Kilowattrel gets knocked out and then Fuecoco knocks out Houndstone and then Fuecoco struggles with Toxitricity before getting knocked out. Though, there were some interesting aspects about the battle. Roy’s loss was because of predictability. He used the same strategy as he did in the battle with MC Sledge, which Ryme saw. This is why she was able to wipe the floor with him. He needs to amp up his strategy if he wants to improve and not rely on the same song over and over again. What Ryme said to Roy about being a failure of a partner to Fuecoco was harsh, but it was needed because Roy wasn’t in sync with him.
I guess my only solid gripe is that the battle wasn’t a Double Battle. Ryme was the hardest Gym Leader for me when I was playing Pokemon Violet because I didn’t expect a Double battle, hence why I struggled so hard due to going in blind completely lacking a strategy.
Complaints aside, I really liked Ryme’s rap. People usually find anime characters’ rapping cringe, but not me. I seriously enjoyed the tempo and presentation of Ryme’s rap. I think it flowed well. Maybe she can be a contestant on Paradox Live (which I am a fan of)? Roy’s rapping was handled well too! He can participate in Paradox Live as well!
youtube
My predictions for Roy’s rematch is that he’s going to find ways to battle using different songs for different moves. Maybe that way, Fuecoco can finally evolve, which I am expecting next episode because it does feel like it’d be the perfect time for him to evolve. If anything, I sort of want Roy to focus on training Kilowattrel because Electric moves can be very useful when facing Houndstone. What are your predictions for next week’s episode?

Alicent’s three sons really amp up the courting of their Aunt after the Greens win the war. It’s three years later, and Lady Hightower remains unmarried. She journeys to Red Keep to be closer to her elder sister… but walks into a mess.
Aegon thinks he can have two wives, like his namesake. He is tactless in romance, however, and fumbles at communicating his feelings while sober. With a cup or two of Arbor Red, Aegon is far more touchy. Demanding she sit next to him at all meals, tourneys, feasts, anything. He speaks to her about his loveless marriage, the loss of his only son— emphasizing how Helaena refuses to let him touch her again. Laying down the loose framework of a seduction.
Aemond thinks he’s earned himself a pretty bride for his loyalty. He is far more straightforward after a few million kills under his belt. Aemond will mention how he is still without a bride… and his beautiful Aunt is somehow still a maiden. He lavishes her in compliments and gifts he knows that she will like. When she asks him why he is being so generous, he just kisses her hand and smirks.
Daeron thinks he has the best relationship with Lady Hightower. Now, he just needs to show her that he is a Man. He fights harder during his training. When he sees her, he will take off his shirt and grin at her. Daeron starts to resist her touch if she tries to coddle him. With how inexperienced he is with sex and romance, he starts to seduce ladies in court for practice. Once, at a feast, Lady Hightower went to the Godswood for some air only to find Daeron with his hand between a lady of the court's thighs. She was moaning against his shoulder.
Oh Aegon is just a beast and is hardly subtly after a drink or two, but his pretty wife only gives him such sympathetic strokes of his hair and listens to his grievances. "I am sure your wife will return to you," she whispers her promises whilst the King only burrows into her neck. Gods, she smelled so good.
Aemond's love language is gift giving and her chambers are full of such things. All the nicest of silks and jewels from the many corners of the world. She is a blushing mess with each gift as well as the most rare books the Prince could find.
She thinks Daeron has out grown her and does not want to be around his old aunt. Oh, how wrong she is. A part of her could not deny the jealousy coming over her body as she watched the woman move in pleasure. A soft gasp escaped her when Daeron's eyes locked with her

Good Omens S2 thought! *SPOILERS*
WARNING SPOILERS BELOW
So, that ending huh? I never normally make posts, as I'm normally the lurking reposter, HOWEVER....I have thoughts.
Although most of you out there are probably cursing Neil out, I actually think he is so SO smart for playing season 2 out like this. He wrote as any good author does. When you think of good trilogies out there, what format do they commonly follow?
The first of the three introduces us to the world and characters and basic conflicts. It almost always ends with the characters accomplishing some sort of victory, and closes the first part off with a sort of 'bow'. It could end here, in truth, but there is still unanswered questions.....
The second part often amps everything up very fast and sets us up for the end, while also ending on a cliffhanger/shock. Everything they built for themselves by 'winning', shows that they never actual did. The characters ultimately 'lose" and are at their lowest point in the series during the ending of this section.
The third however, is when things conclude while also slowing building the characters back up to finally win against what defeated them in the previous part. They might endure great loss, and failure during this part, but it always will end with the main characters getting the ending they deserve (most of the time good).
All great trilogies follow this mindset. The Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Back to the Future, etc. I mean, Spider-verse is following this format to a T. Neil isn't trying to gaslight us or whatever else people are saying about the ending. He is just carefully crafting possibly one of the best TV show trilogies and romances I have ever seen, and possible will ever see. And for so many other reasons other than this, my hat is off to you Neil. I see you, I see what you are doing. And oh boy, am I excited for Season 3.
#neil gaiman#david tennant#good omens#ineffable husbands#michael sheen#anthony j crowley#azicrow#good omens season two#good omens season 2#and yes I am writing this at like 4am slightly delusional please ignore all mistakes I am going insane#at least they didn't play Love of My Life during the end credits of the last episode :'))

Okay so like random au but what if Namaari wasn’t able to send the flare up in the cave?
I rewatched the movie and I noticed that Raya was winning the fight before Namaari sent out the flare. I’m pretty sure that if there wasn’t any outside interference, Raya would have won that fight. Like maybe in this au she saw the flare and was able to swipe it before Namaari could set it off.
So picture this! Baby Raya basically threatening Namaari’s entire existence after the whole ordeal and quite literally kicks Namaari out of the cave so the party continues, the Druun never appears, and the gem stays in heart.
They both tell their parents what happened pretty much right after. When Benja finds out I imagine him being like “well shit. Okay, we need to amp up our security. Inviting them into our home was probably starting off too strong. However, tonight went really well so I want to hold off doing anything drastic. We’ll keep an extra close eye on them and make sure the gem is guarded at all times whether the other lands are here or not.” Raya was mad she didn’t get to use her swords again.
After Namaari told Virana, she was more along the lines of “yeah, alright, that was on me for sending a child to steal something. But honestly, I think if nothing else I can dupe Benja into giving us more resources so tonight wasn’t a total loss. We need to tread carefully because I’m sure Raya told her father everything. I’m hoping that since he seemed so into Kumandra he’s willing to let it go since nothing actually happened. Maybe we can play it off as kids being kids.” Namaari was definitely ashamed of her failure but also relieved that her mother didn’t make it out to be a huge issue.
So then as the years go on, Kumandra comes together slowly but surely. Virana is content with her people being taken care of so she has no reason to scheme. Therefore Namaari is also scheme-less. Raya, on the other hand, absolutely does not believe that one bit.
Raya and Namaari have to spend a lot of time together since their parents are so focused on rebuilding Kumandra and while Namaari pretty much tries apologizing and making up for it from the start, Raya is so suspicious of her and thinks she has an ulterior motive. Like the first time. Namaari makes it her mission in life to prove Raya wrong.
Whenever Namaari does something nice, Raya has one hand on her sword prepared to take her down at a moments notice. It would be something as simple as Namaari handing her the salt at the dinner table and Raya is all “is this dirt. Is she about to poison me-“
Then, for drama, Namaari catches feelings for Raya in her early teens because let’s be honest, Namaari likes a woman that can kick her ass. She never says anything since she knows exactly what Raya thinks of her, but it happens nonetheless.
Then something happens in their late teens where a dangerous event occurs and Namaari basically has the choice of saving herself or Raya, then she chooses Raya. So then Raya’s like “maybe trying to drown you when we were fifteen was a bit extreme.”
So they chat, finally communicate properly, and Raya actually believes Namaari isn’t out to get her. Then they become friends, Raya starts crushing hard after a few months, and they manage to confess to each other and it would be so beautiful.
Clearly I have too much time on my hands if I’m thinking up all of this-

no one asked but here are some of my thoughts on the one piece live action show
the things I didn't like:
Nojiko not knowing about Nami's scheme and plan. I get that it was probably a way to raise the odds and emphasize Nami's loneliness, but to me it cheapened their relationship and took away one of the most touching moments in the manga, when the reason for Nojiko's tattoos is revealed.
humorless, stoic, sexy man Zoro. of all the characters it was the one adaptation that didn't work for me, and Zoro is one of my favorites so it was a bit frustrating. the actor gives a good performance, but whereas the rest of the crew is a perfect translation of their manga selves to the screen, Zoro feels like a fundamentally different character. which is unfortunately because the mix of goofiness and badassery is what makes Zoro so engaging. here's hoping that he's allowed to emote more in season two.
in a similar vein as the previous point, I wasn't a fan of all the "Zoro and Nami exhasperated over Luffy" scenes. imo making Zoro so mature changed the dynamic of the crew and made his relationship with Luffy ring a bit hollow, even when the show wanted me to be emotionally invested in their bond.
Mihawk's introduction makes him come across as way less of threat than in the manga. I get cutting Krieg because they had less time and ultimately I don't think it was a massive loss, but having Gin show up destroyed and hyping Mihawk up is sooo much more effective than just showing him in the middle of a battle.
Nami was also a bit too serious for my taste, but I'll chalk that up to East Blue being when she's still not fully comfortable with the crew yet.
this is the most nitpicky annoying thing but. Arlong was too small. like obviously realistically speaking the actor is jacked but he does not give off the same threatening air that he does in the manga when he's towering over everyone.
the things I liked (most of it!):
from a plot perspective I think they were very smart and strategic about what to cut, they managed to trim everything to make it fit in eight hours and it worked. having Koby and Helmeppo throughout the season was a great way to keep the story from feeling too episodic, and they're both really well cast and I loved watching them. They are in love
removing the jokes on Alvida's appearance: yes. Overall I think they did a good job translating the humor, keeping the absurdness and silliness while also removing what wouldn't fly very well in live action.
Luffy should have been Brazilian but Iñaki Godoy is truly a finding, his performance is top notch and I can't imagine anyone else playing the role. Also in the "might have been created in a lab specifically to play their role" category are: Jacob Romero (there was not a second Usopp was on screen that didn't fill my heart with joy), Craig Fairbrass, Peter Gadiot, Aidan Scott.
special bullet point for Buggy because yeah. you have already heard that but my god he is THAT GOOD. SO much fun to watch.
another special bullet point for Taz Skylar. I didn't mention him in the list above because I guess you can say that technically Sanji is significantly different in the LA than in the mange, but tbh the change was for the better. amping up his charm and giving him a wannabe womanizer vibe was the perfect choice. his chemistry with Zeff was amazing (that one second in which they're fighting and you can see Sanji mouthing along to what he's saying because they've had this fight so many times before? CINEMA). their goodbye broke my heart.
Baratie might have been my favorite arc. and it's a really good arc in the manga so I'm amazed by how much they got it right.
Usopp/Kaya kiss!!!
obsessed with the absolutely random flirting between Zeff and Garp. old men yaoi stays winning
Koby and Luffy's hug was everything I didn't know I needed. also Koby getting drunk. just... Koby.
usually I'd find "omg they did it exactly like the manga panels" kind of a meaningless compliment but the scene where Nami asks for Luffy's help hit me like a brick. it was perfect.
their vows at the ending of the season gave me chills. Watching this show was so much fun and made me relive the excitement this story gave me as a child; a lot is said about an adaption having to capture "the essence" of the original which is of course super vague, but however you interpret it, I think it happened here. This show has so much heart and passion and is just a joyful, fun thing to experience. I can't wait for next season

Mercy's Secret
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's only 5 seconds left before overtime. The music is amping up and getting more intense. Everyone is trying to build ult charge, and through it all, Mercy finds herself desperately flying from ally to ally, trying to stay alive. She used her ult in the last fight, so she has to hope her teammates can come in clutch and secure the game win. As she ducks behind cover to stay hidden from enemy fire, she suddenly feels weak, and she can't use any of her abilities.
"Oh no..." she thinks to herself and the sudden realization hits home like a truck. She's been hacked. Sombra is behind her, now shooting her in the back. She yells out for her teammates and makes a mad dash for the point, trying to break line of sight with Sombra. She's almost there. So close she can taste it. Just as she rounds the corner, the last drop of HP leaves her body and she falls in the fight. Defeated...
"Ugh!!! Come on.." Mercy huffs impatiently as she waits to respawn. "Geez, who is playing me? A 10 year old?" She's been at this all day, and its been rough. Loss after loss, every game has had death numbers approaching 15 or more, and shes been battle Mercy in every other game the past 2 hours. Its exhausting to go through the same thing again and again. Its stressful. And she looks forward to those wonderful gaps when the game is down for maintenance. Its the only time she gets to relax.
She finally respawns and stars heading back towards the fight. Her team is doing their best with just Lucio for healing but she knows they won't hold out forever being down a player. She knows she has to be back in the team fight to help keep everyone alive. She knows she has to be there to rez one of her teammates if they die, which could dramatically swing the momentum back to her team and win the game. She had to get back as fast as she can. She is only 20 feet out of spawn when she hears a voice come from behind her. "Oh my God..." she thought.
"Hola. Been here all along." The voice said. Mercy spun around as fast as she could, whipping out her pistol and shooting at her attacker. Sombra and Mercy exchanged fire as they both jumped and danced around, trying to dodge each others fire while trying to also land their own. The duel only lasted a few seconds. Mercy found herself down to her last 5 HP, only to look up and see Sombra right in her face.
"Adios!" Sombra said as she landed a melee right to Mercy's face and sent her back to spawn, right outside spawn. Mercy grunted with frustration. she could only watch her teammates fight in the distance, the kill feed trading red and blue kills as overtime ticked on. She began to fear the worst as she closed her eyes, dqydreaming about a well deserved break from all the fighting. Especially the flankers... especially Sombra.
Suddenly, she's jolted back to reality as the loud, booming voice of Athena declares defeat for her team. She looks up at the big, red letters towering over her and sighs. Another loss to add to an abysmal total for the day. At least she could relax now. She could finally take a breath and be happy because it was officially her favorite time of all.
The game disconnected from the servers. The networks went offline. All the players... disappeared.
"Finally!! Oh, my aching back.." she groaned as she walked out of spawn and into the world behind the code. Similar to the world of Wreck it Ralph, everyone lived their own lives and had their own houses. They didnt get the chance to be home very often, since they were part of an online game, constantly online, but it was amazing when they got some time to unwind.
Mercy walked down the hall to the women's locker room. She dropped her staff off at her locker and walked over to the sinks, looking at herself in the mirror. She looked tired, bags under her eyes and coukd almost see the knots in her shoulders from the full day of games.
"Ugh, I look like trash. I need a shower and some sleep." She said to herself, turning on the water and splashing her face with it.
"Woooohoooo!! Good games today, everyone!" Tracer came bounding into the room, chipper as always and the first person to make sure everyone was okay after a long day. Mercy sighed very softly, not wanting to show her fatigue and worry Tracer. After all, she was the doctor tending to everyone else's needs. She did the worrying, no need for others to worry about her. She straightened up and gave Tracer a warm smile as she walked by.
"Thank you, Lena. You had quite a good stretch of games today. I saw you doing your best to carry your teammates." She said. Tracer beamed back at at Mercy and blinked over to hug her.
"Thanks, love! I know it was kinda rough out there for you today, though. Are you okay, Angela?"
Mercy smiles and hugged her friend back, bufore putting her hand on her shoulder to reassure her.
"Of course, Lena. Just another day in the field. I'm alright. I promise." She said with a smile. Tracer smiled back and walked away, leaving mercy behind. She rubbed her neck a little with her hand as she walked back to her locker, undoing her Valkyrie suit, she stepped out of it, before hanging it up in her locker. As she stood there, in nothing more than her athletic shorts and sports bra she work under her suit, Mercy heard a voice come from behind her.
"Tsk tsk tsk. What happened out there? You need to stop leaving yourself so vulnerable. It almost makes it too easy." Sombra teased. She had been the last one to dispatch of Mercy, which snowballed the fight and lead to the defeat. Mercy just huffed as she put her pants.
"Well, that's what happens when you have someone playing support that doesn't normally do it. You find players make silly mistakes." Mercy replied, trying to be her normal self despite being over Sombra's sarcastic quips. "You played very well. Congratulations, Olivia." Sombra sneered a little at Mercy's reply.
"Aye, do you have to use my real name. You know i hate that. That part of me is dead. Long ago." She said.
Mercy smirked back at her, wordlessly letting her know she was just messing with her. Sombra just puffed. As Mercy was just about to put her top on, Sombra placed her hand on Mercy's shoulder.
"Relaaaaax. Don't be so uptight all the time. I'm only kidding." She said. As she was pulling away, he drug her claw like nails down Mercy's back and side. Mercy immediately jumps and a tiny squeal escaped from Mercy's mouth. She immedately pulled her shirt the rest of the way on and covered her mouth with her hand. Sombra paused for a second and looked at Mercy. She was standing very still. Her hand over her mouth. Her face, ears, and neck beginning to turn red from her building blush. After a second or two, Sombra smirked and put her hands behind her back, slowly starting to walk around Mercy.
"Weeeell now, what do we have here? Angela, I didnt know you were ticklish." Sombra teased. Mercy looked around to see that luckily for her, nocone else had seemed to notice what had just happened. She was always the motherly type in the game. Strong, proud, and always composed. So to be seen like this now, blushy and flustered, she shuddered at the thought. Especially when you consider the secret she carried with her about tickling. But right now, she had to recompose quickly. Mercy cleared her through, and brushed her hair back into place.
"Y-yes. I am. Most people are. Theres nothing unique about that." Mercy replied, trying to present the same air of confidence she always does. She glanced out of the corner of her eye to see Sombra, still pacing around, look back into her eyes with a hint of mischief that Mercy did NOT want to combat here in front of everyone.
"Oh, I'm not saying its unique." Sombra replied, walking behind her and speaking under her breath. "I just think your reaction to it was... interesting." Mercy shuddered slightly again. She had to get out of here quickly. She grabbed her staff, stuffed it in locker, and closed the door quickly. "I need to go. I have things to do before the game comes back online. Have a good day, Som... Olivia." She said before walking away quickly and leaving the building.
Sombra watched her leave, still with a mischievious grin on her face. The way Mercy acted when asked about her ticklishness was intriging. It was obvious it flustered her, made her feel some kind of way. Yhere was something about it that she wasn't telling. something she was hiding. And that was something Sombra just couldn't let pass by without doing a little digging. "What are you hiding, Chica? I'm gonna figure out what it is." Sombra thought to herself, before grabbing her own stuff and folowing Mercy out the door.
ogden task 005: the hart of the matter
fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. leaky didn’t want to be here. why did he agree to this? the funny thing is when he pictured college, he pictured press conferences. joking with reporters, celebrating wins, mourning losses. discussing plays and next-time strategies. projecting the what if’s of the draft. that espn would say his name followed by compliments about how he was one to watch. but they never came, that wasn’t his reality.
this was. sitting in khakis and a button down across from jesse’s dad feeling like he might actually shit himself. something he hadn’t done since third grade when he got food poisoning. but it might happen again, and this time it would be recorded. he smiles at leaky, how responds weakly, crosses his foot over his knee, nods as a cameraman counts down, and then turns to leaky. serious smile this time, a man all about business.
“it’s a tough year to be a student at ogden college with the tragic passing of penelope klein. and of course, we can’t forget the ongoing missing persons case surrounding beloved student, greer morrison. i know that dean zuko insisted on free on-campus counseling set up for all students. have you made use of it?”
oh, yea. well therapy was something that had been mandatory for him his first year at ogden, so honestly, the habit kinda stuck. dropping from once a week to once a month, leaky never really tells them anything, always afraid it would somehow get back to the dean, but it’s a nice habit. plus he knows what it looks like. “yea, well i was already using our therapy services prior to all of this. it’s always been available, but glad to see that the support has been amped up. students need it to begin with, and uh…” his goody-two-shoe answer faltering slightly, “well, i think we all need as much support as we can get these days.” he gives a nod, knuckles rapping against the cushion of the chair he’s seated in. dean zuko would like that answer.
and so does donovan hart, who gives a smile and nod, pleased and already moving on.
“there was that nasty storm that knocked out the power at the resort, i remember. that got a little dicey, huh? parents and staff all congregated in the faculty chalet, but you kids were on the other side of the resort. we’ve been told that penelope organized some things for people to complete to make it through that night together. were you one of them? what did you get up to during the blackout?”
his blood runs cold, thinking back to that night. he’d been entirely too drunk to do much of anything, but was still sent out and found…a bloody glove. that he didn’t report because by the time they were back to the chalet penny was dead, leaky was hunched over a toilet vomiting and dean zuko had already sent him short email to see him once he was back on campus. “uh, yea. penny didn’t really give you a choice,” he kinda chokes on her name, they hadn’t even been close but she was dead, “and so she sent me on an assignment. to collect firewood.” that he didn’t bring back because it was wet and he was freaking out. this isn’t a police interview, though leaky is half expecting dr. hart to make a note and lock eyes with someone as if they’ve found something. he doesn’t do either.
“in the wake of tragedy, it can be hard to recall things in detail. the brain has its own ways of protecting itself in high-stress situations, and i know that the police have been a near-constant presence on campus this year.” leaky gulps, their presence hasn’t really done much to make him, or anyone frankly, feel safer. “this is not that; i want you to feel safe and comfortable enough to share whatever you want about that night. did you see anything? hear anything?”
he freezes, eyes widening as he glances up, trying to pretend like he’s thinking it through. trying to remember. but he knows, knows exactly what happened even behind the haze of the alcohol. “yea…” he croaks out, his voice sounding different, like it wasn’t his. like he was outside of his body and someone else had taken over. “i found some wood, but it was wet. cause of the snow, so i knew it wouldn’t be good to bring back.” why is he retelling this? so easily? dr. hart didn’t even have to push that hard and leaky was already breaking. “i completely forgot about this, cause i’d been worried about the firewood and then everything happened so…quickly…” he pauses, as if wading through his memories, it all available again because dr. hart had asked the right questions. “i saw this glove, in the distance, a few yards away from the wood…” he squints, the memory picture perfect in his mind, but he’s trying to play it off like it was hazy. “and maybe some footprints? or probably animal tracks. it was hard to tell but i didn’t think much of it.” he leaves the part out about the blood, that was something he should have reported. “cause like, maybe someone had dropped it and was coming back for it? all of us were just following penny’s orders.” he swallows, as if guilt is now settling with him, like it hadn’t been there the entire time. “or maybe someone lost it skiing? A lost glove doesn’t seem like that big of a deal in the moment ya know? and i just…” he stops, looking down, defeated. as if his memory had betrayed him, as if this glove could have been a clue in the mystery. and maybe it would have been, if leaky had told the whole truth. now, he hoped, people would write it off and just give sympathy to a kid who was being too hard on himself.
dr. hart blinks, gives a small nod and leans toward leaky. as if to comfort him, to coax out more answers. leaky kept his eyes down, afraid that if he looked up the guilt would overwhelm him and he’d be spewing the god-awful truth all over the floor.
“obviously, we all want to get to the bottom of this and work through whatever lingering effects it might have left behind. if you were paired off with anyone that night, can you remember what they were doing? would it have been possible that they might have been behind anything you saw?"
leaky shakes his head, alex had been the one to persuade them to turn around instead of getting any closer to the glove. to make the smart decisions, maybe if they had inspected it more they would have ended up in penny’s position. or worse, witnesses to it. “nah, i was with this kid alex, and he was by my side. kinda hard to wade through snow alone.” fuck, now they knew it was deep, what if they picked up on the idea that the glove hadn’t been covered? leaky hadn’t mentioned it either way. “he didn’t do anything.” and neither did i! not this time! but he didn’t, that would be too much.
“now, if you’ll direct your attention to this screen here, i have something that— barring appropriate authorities— no one has seen until now.” a picture of Greer suddenly appears on screen, all eyes trained on this new piece of information. all eyes but donovan’s which are locked onto the face of the person he’s interviewing, watching for any and every reaction. “this photo is shocking, i know. it was found in the faculty chalet the night of the blackout. do you know anything about the day it was taken or who might have taken it?”
suddenly he's slammed back into his body. his insides were practically crawling, eyes looking over at a beautiful greer, her eyes crossed out, but it was still so obviously her. and it was hella creepy. he gulped, almost comically. “y’all…found this?” what did the dean say? no wonder he let leaky off with just a talking to, he had more on his plate than a drunk footballer hitting on his daughter. what did her parents think? he hopes that seeing this show won’t be the first time they see this. “i…greer and i aren’t close.” weren’t, but he pretends to have hope. “so i have no clue but…” he trails off, his stare saying everything else. this is fucked up. and yet this is how the school is dealing with it? that might be even more fucked up.
“do you have any idea why this photo might have been left with faculty that night? or, most pressing, what reason someone could have for vandalizing it in such a horrible way?” dr. hart is looking at him so intensely he might just pop right out of his seat and hightail it across campus to hide under his bed. but leaky stays seated, popping his knuckles instead to release any sort of tension he can.
with a sigh he opens his mouth, “maybe a cry for help? that the students can’t do everything alone? we were trapped and no one came to make sure we were okay, and penny died. and greer…” his voice fades as he tears his eyes back toward the camera and then to dr. hart. “who knows what she was going through...is going through. but i think it’s clear…the adults need to help us too. help her, help us on the trip, on campus, friends with penny…” a far different cry from his praise of the therapists on campus too. “y’all are responsible too.” this was mentioned so quietly leaky is unsure if the boom mic can pick up on it. dr. hart makes no indication that he’s heard him either.
"finally, it's been discovered that penelope, shortly before her untimely death, had mentioned to someone that she knew why greer had left. do you think that has anything to do with this photo? do you know why she might have left? even though being honest about it may seem scary, i promise you, it's the right thing to do. it's the only way we can protect you."
“no.” he states flatly, hands now smoothing across his pants. god, he’s getting antsy. he needs to call his mother, his father, his granny. anyone to remind him that life isn’t all of this. It’s not all mystery and death and disappearing acts and accusing old white men. but what if this is his life now? the choice he made to come here, to do what he did, to be who he was and…it all led here. was this his destiny? or his hell? looking up, he meets dr. hart’s eyes, almost pleading. “i don’t know why greer left. i’m not sure anyone does.” and he meant it, if they did they would have come forward by now right? that’s the right thing to do. what does leaky know about that. “but i…i don’t think this will help us find her.” it certainly didn’t feel like it would. “i just hope she…she knows people miss her. that we miss her. things obviously ain’t the same and-” he stops with a shake of his head, hand now wiping across his face as all words begin to fail him.
“that’s it?” dr. hart looks expectantly.
“yea,” leaky nods, “that’s it."
2127 16Nov24: Chapter 320
Hear me out!
The fighters amped up the masses to log into Netflix and damn near crashed servers or atleast slowed them down so much which meant Netflix was making a "pretty penny" off this bout... why can they give everyone 1 free month towards their subscription or one free month on your current subscription if you watched the fight? I feel it was hyped up so much and though we knew what the outcome would be there was hope that Iron Mike would have crushed Paul...
#nowiknowhowkamalaharrissupportersfeltlikeonandafternov6
Yup... the world still rotates.
Gotta shower and get some rest... big UGA game in the morning as the Georgia Bulldawgs go to Tennessee to face the volunteers. A loss means they are def out... a win gives them hope that they can make it in the new playoff brackets.
Out in the rings the morlock lost about 300 million and the pseudo empire 200 million and like we said leadership is around 11% and 29% and it's going that way it still is in the eastern hemisphere huge armies are attacking they doubled their attack from yesterday yeah it's big I was trying to get bigger but really this whole week so far is almost 0.7% loss is on both sides if it's not catastrophic and it's not huge.
--there are a few things on the venue today and going after ships they have not decided to do that yet and it would be a break we still have to get ready the empire is proceeding and we'll head over to Saturn they say you have to and they really do I saw them this morning and they didn't look too good didn't sound too good thank you by the way and people say it. We're getting ready for a conflict as this Saturday they intend to ramp up by 10:00 it's only 2 days away bills will be real numbers and right now I've been going up a couple tenths of a percent it was the last one almost all around
--it's not a happy time here there's people are very rude to everybody and they're trying to be nice I mean it's the same time to try and get free stuff and it's both sides it's absolutely ridiculous putting way too much pressure on one person and we need to alleviate that pressure and I'm suggesting we meet and review why it's important reasons and we need to negate them and we need to do it now.
--other things happening we do think the car is a good idea at this time this is a doldrum that just keeps happening even though there's tons of them dying it's a doldrum foreigners are going down there and not making much progress you're not really ready what they're doing it so we need to amp up our side as we've always wanted to and plan to and we're going to get the demons going and Trump will be gone and the date to get them going I'll be September 22nd no he'll be back in his body and he will activate them before he goes to Titan he gets cast into space and he is still in the devil's body. It's a little tricky he tries coming to Earth and he gets his ass kicked and his head cut off and stepped on a little by his son and goes back up before the 22nd and someone did figure it out and that was Hera so we're going to print
Thor Freya
And we needed this he goes up there beforehand in a separate mission as Thor the imitation version and he fights his son as tall people and they've been fighting up there for a while and kind of wins a little so his son steps it up and is not working directly for Thanos but he kind of is hey can see I'm doing it in several movies and he plays Lobo and he is a big dick and a loser doesn't know much about what he's doing. Then he loses a lot of battles finally disables his father and the head is removed and the body is separated from him and I find it later as searcher I think it's actually Dave take a dan. And he goes and opens the gates as a human but Dave does it with him several of them go there they're 16 and they release the kju and there'll be two versions of Satan okay so they release the higher level demons but one of them is the devil so we know what the sequence is and Beowulf is where Liluth mats with the devil human form and that's what Trump was trying to do was to take over my husband's job as a son of his which is ridiculous so his son is doing it to him. So they create a son and it's Grendel and it would not be El Diablo that would be a demon that was permanently mutated everyone wants his brain and the demon was the lizard man at first and other demons were Incorporated and we love to tell you how but we're not going to
Hera
Zues
That's right there's only one set of keys and there are 16 and he will use the master keys for master key and Sarah will use the other one at least what looks like them
Daily Devotionals for July 13, 2024
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 20:19-21 (KJV): 19 He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips. 20 Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness. 21 An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning, but the end thereof shall not be blessed. Proverbs 20:19-21 (AMP): 19 He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets; therefore associate not with him who talks too freely. 20 Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in complete darkness. 21 An inheritance hastily gotten (by greedy, unjust means) at the beginning, in the end, it will not be blessed.
Thought for the Day
Verse 19 - People who talk in a degrading fashion about others cannot be trusted, especially with private issues. Those who are loose with the secrets of others, will not hesitate to share yours. They will also manipulate people with flattery in order to gain their trust for their own selfish gain. They are not truly interested in helping others, only in finding out their secrets so that they may spread them.
Verse 20 - Although the basic meaning of the word used for "curse" can include "to wish or to speak evil," the basic meaning here is "to esteem lightly." Many people say they are not guilty of cursing their parents, but they may not consider that they are esteeming them lightly. According to the Hebrew meaning of this verse, to disrespect or disobey one's parents is actually to curse them. One of the Ten Commandments unjustly will not give the benefit expected of it. Genesis tells how Jacob gained his brother Esau's inheritance by deceiving their father. It cost him the loss of a relationship with his brother and many years of living in fear that Esau would kill him for his act of treachery. The whole incident caused years of heartache for the entire family. Jacob also later reaped treachery from his own sons and suffered bitterly when they sold their youngest brother into slavery. The Bible teaches us to value relationships more than riches or material things. Tells us to honor our father and mother, so that our days may be long upon the earth (Exodus 20:12).
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth" (Ephesians 6:1-2). According to verse 20, the penalty for cursing one's parents is that the children will lose their guidance in this dark world (their lamp will be put out). If we cannot see the proper path to walk down, we will end up on the wrong path which leads to destruction.
Verse 21 - Greed can lead people to obtain their inheritances underhandedly. An inheritance obtained
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the wonderful friends and family You have given to me. Lord, may I always value these gifts of love and friendship and never violate them. May I always be the kind of friend who is trustworthy and that others will know their secrets are safe with me? Guard my mouth and let me only speak things that are edifying and needful. May I always respect my parents and elders and give them honor. Lord, may I treasure my relationships and always value them above things. If I lose things, they can be restored; but if I lose a relationship because I value material things above my friendships and cause a brother or sister to be offended, I may never win their trust again. Help me always to embrace the truth that -- relationships are more valuable than things. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Before you leap into the latest diet trend or hit the ground running with a new workout routine, pause for a second. Checking in with yourself about your drive and readiness to swap old habits for healthier ones is crucial. Taking stock of where you're at can lay a solid foundation for your success. Ponder this: "Do I have the fire in me to lose weight?" Mull over your motives behind wanting to drop the extra weight. Whether it's to amp up your health, give your self-esteem a boost, or just have more zip through your day, getting clear on your why can be the beacon that keeps you committed to your goals. Now, think about your game plan for eating and moving. Are you geared up to bid farewell to junk food and welcome a diet rich in nutrients? How about making a pact with yourself to get active on the regular? Being upfront about how ready you are to make these shifts can guide you in setting goals that are not just dreams but achievable milestones. Let's not forget, that reaching your weight loss targets is more marathon than sprint. It demands willpower and elbow grease. So, take a beat to gauge your change readiness, pinpoint realistic goals, and keep that motivation engine running at full throttle. With a can-do attitude and the right tactics, the healthier, more jubilant you isn't just a possibility—it's within reach. Exotic "rice method" liquifies fat cells Finding Your Inner Motivation Keeping that motivation fire burning is your secret weapon to winning the weight loss battle and transforming into a healthier, sparkier version of yourself. Think of your inner drive as the nitro in your engine, pushing you forward, even when the road gets bumpy. So, how do you dig up and fire up this powerhouse of motivation? First off, get clear on why you're kicking those extra pounds to the curb. Is it to boost your overall health, give your self-confidence a makeover, or to feel like you've got endless energy? Pin your reasons to your fridge, mirror, or anywhere they'll jump out at you. Having these reminders staring back at you works wonders for keeping your eyes on the prize. Next up, gather your personal cheer squad. Spill the beans on your weight loss journey to friends and family who'll be in your corner, cheering loud and proud. Or, get connected with a virtual tribe or a gym buddy who's on the same mission. This sprinkle of support and a dash of accountability mean you're not going it alone. By putting these tricks to work, you'll be equipped to keep that motivation flame alive and kicking, all while staying laser-focused on snagging the crown of a healthier, more jubilant you. Remember, motivation may get you started, but it's your discipline and dedication that will keep you going. Finally, don't forget to break your journey into bite-sized chunks by setting small, doable goals along the way. It's like adding checkpoints in a game; reaching each one gives you a little victory dance moment. Make sure to throw yourself a mini party for every goal you nail – it could be a happy dance in your living room, treating yourself to a movie night, or anything that spells 'celebration' to you. These wins, no matter their size, are golden. They not only give you a high-five feeling but also cement your dedication to becoming the healthiest version of you. With every little win, your motivation muscles get stronger, powering you towards that big win. Stay motivated, stay focused, and keep pushing forward! Diving into your weight loss journey, the secret sauce is setting goals that are as real as it gets. A clear roadmap with tangible milestones is your compass, keeping you driven and dialed in on the path to a healthier version of yourself. First off, embrace the truth that shedding pounds the healthy way is more of a marathon than a sprint. Targeting a weight drop of 1-2 pounds a week is your best bet for results that stick around instead of making a U-turn. Sure, the idea of quick weight loss might sound appealing, but it's like a mirage in the desert—appealing from afar but disappointing up close. The fuel to keep your weight loss engine running comes from setting goals you can actually hit. Think about including both process goals and outcome goals in your plan. Process goals are about the steps you're taking, like sticking to your workout routine or eating greens with every meal. Outcome goals are the finish lines you're racing to, like losing a specific number of pounds or slipping into a size that makes you feel fabulous. By focusing on these realistic and measurable objectives, you're not just dreaming about a healthier you—you're paving a solid road to get there. Setting Realistic Goals Divide your overarching objective into smaller, achievable steps. This approach not only renders your aim more feasible but also provides opportunities to acknowledge each success throughout your journey. Ensure that your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). This strategy aids in maintaining focus and efficiently monitoring your advancement. Maintain flexibility and be willing to modify your objectives as necessary. The path to weight loss can fluctuate, presenting both progress and challenges. Remain dedicated and adjust your strategy to suit changing circumstances. By establishing achievable objectives, you outline a clear path for your weight loss strategies. This approach provides targets to aim for, keeping you driven and engaged along the way. It's important to practice patience with yourself and to recognize every accomplishment, regardless of its size. Your persistence and dedication will inevitably guide you towards a more healthful and joyful existence. Oriental Blue Tonic Melts 63 Pounds of Fat Embracing Healthy Habits For successful weight loss, embracing healthy eating practices is fundamental. Selecting wise dietary options and focusing on a well-rounded diet are essential steps to adequately nourish your body and accomplish your weight loss ambitions. Below are several vital strategies to assist you in forming beneficial eating habits: Let's paint a picture of a plate that's not just food, but a rainbow of nutrition! Imagine loading up your dish with vibrant fruits and veggies, lean meats that don't weigh you down, grains that keep you going, and fats that are actually your friends. These are the superheroes of food, packed with all the good stuff your body cheers for, like vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Now, let's talk size – it's all about keeping it real and not going overboard. Think of using smaller plates as a sneaky trick to fool yourself into eating just the right amount. Measure it out, listen to what your tummy's really saying, and remember, it's not a race. Eating should be more like a chill marathon. Water, water, everywhere, should be your mantra for keeping thirst at bay and those hunger tricks in check. Ditch the sweet stuff that just pretends to be your friend. Water's the real MVP here, helping you stay fresh and on your game. And hey, let's put a limit on those sugary temptations and greasy foes. They might taste like a party now, but they're really just party poopers in disguise. Swap them out for the good guys – fruits that satisfy your sweet tooth, nuts, and seeds that are like nature's candy. Eating right isn't about cutting out all the fun stuff or starving yourself. It's all about feeding your body the good stuff it loves and figuring out a way to keep it up without feeling miserable. When you get into the groove of eating well, you're not just on the fast track to dropping pounds—you're also giving your overall health a major boost. So, let's shake off those strict rules and find a happy, healthy eating rhythm that sings to you! Remember, it's key to chat with a health expert or a dietitian who knows their stuff for advice that's just for you as you trek through your weight loss journey. Cardiovascular Exercises Cardio workouts are your secret weapon for burning calories and getting your heart pumping. Mix things like fast-paced walking, jogging, biking, or swimming into your daily plan. Try to hit at least 30 minutes of cardio at a moderate pace on most days. Begin with baby steps and slowly up your game in both time and effort to keep burnout at bay. Strength Training Throwing in some strength training in your routine is like adding rocket fuel to your weight loss engine. It helps you pack on lean muscle, revs up your metabolism, and amps up the fat burn. Whip out moves like lifting weights, working with resistance bands, or doing bodyweight exercises like push-ups and squats. Shoot for hitting those muscles two to three times a week, giving each group some love. Don't forget to warm up those engines before you start and cool down nice and easy afterward to dodge any workout woes. And always tune in to what your body's saying—adjust the intensity and length of your sweat sessions as needed. Consistency's the name of the game for keeping that weight loss momentum going strong for the long haul.
