Nice!#Lan flirting is offering to organize events. “Please...let me open up my planner...do you want to create a shared google calendar with me?”#“Oh...we will have to spend so many nights at a desk working out logistics. Do you want to see how good I can balance these accounts?”#Lan events probably have the best 'stayed within budget' reputation of all the clans.#What I mean to say is...Where are the Lan Wedding planner AUs? Actually scrap that: ALL the sects as rival wedding planners.#The Jins would do high end clients with huge budgets. Lans do traditional style weddings. I finished both Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz (watched the movie version)

Wing is a bit of a mess but it’s enjoyable. After a very slow start, I think it finds its footing somewhere around the middle episodes, I was hooked by episode 25 at least. I like all the complicated political stuff and some moments will definitely stick with me for a while. The ending was a tiny bit underwhelming, it just sort of felt like CCA but on a smaller budget. So I didn’t really feel anything about it being over. Where this series shines though is the character writing. I think every character is at least somewhat likeable. Except for Wufei. What was he doing most of the time, man? Especially in Endless Waltz.

Endless waltz fixes a lot of my problems with it though. I don’t feel so underwhelmed anymore. This was awesome. It’s the perfect epilogue to the series and I’m glad most of the characters seem to have a happy ending. Heero’s ending is a little open ended, since he spent his whole youth as a child soldier pretty much. But I hope him and Relena got together at least. Otherwise I’d be pretty upset.

I’d say on its own, Wing is better than F91 and slightly behind 0083, but if you include Endless Waltz, it’s better than 0083 and slightly behind G Gundam.

3/5 for Wing, 4/5 for Endless Waltz, 4/5 overall. That’s my first impression anyway, I do wanna rewatch this because it took me nearly 4 months to get through it. Despite all that though, I do actually really like this show, it’s just very very flawed.

Favourite characters: Relena, Quatre, Duo, Lady Une, and Heero
