Hey Hockeyblr.... did you know we have hockey here in the UK? Wild. I know. My local team (The Swindon Wildcats) are in a bit of a bind... See the room at the rink, where all the machinery is stored, like generators that give our rink power, got flooded. Just before the start of the season. This is what our rink looks like rn.

Yeah, the pictures pretty dark, because there's no power. Here's the thing, Ice hockey in the UK has NO MONEY. Because it's a niche sport. So finding the funding to keep going is super hard - the actual team (The Wildcats) are doing ok, because other teams in the league and teams in the league above ours are being super awesome and loaning us their rinks for games and practices, but you want to know who's suffering... THAT'S RIGHT IT'S THE TOPCATS our women's team have NOTHING right now (and many MANY of those girls (and I say girls because a lot of them are u18) are members of our national squad!).
