Um. Favorite things about them... For Cursed I like his love for Horses, and he's just a cutie. For Moon, I like his design a lot. For Flower.... Umm... I like his colors? And his glasses. And his little tooth gap. And for Real I like his hair.

I have a sort of conspiracy theory about liberal feminism that I need to get off my chest. The whole "pick me vs girls girl" culture is actively creating TiFs.

Women who don't fit into certain standards society holds have been shamed for it since the beginning of time, but now rejecting femininity is being seen as anti feminist. Girls who aren't even putting down other women are called nlogs and pick me's just because they're awkward and kind of tomboyish.

Look at Jlaw. She was shamed out of the public eye for acting like an actual human and not a walking caricature of womanhood (eating pizza and falling down on the red carpet). There's an audio going around being mocked on tiktok where a woman rightfully says "I don't like makeup. I think it's bad for women". I've seen nasty comments under Korean feminist insta posts where the women in question are smashing their makeup or wearing comfortable clothing and talking openly about it.

I genuinely think this is the reason why a lot of girls believe themselves not to be female. Since it's shameful and cringy to not be feminine as a woman in the year of our Lord 2024, it would logically be better to think of yourself as a man or some in between thing. Tomboys are basically an endangered species at this point and it's really really sad. Little girls aren't climbing trees or playing in the mud. They're playing with skincare and makeup. I truly feel like I'm living in a black mirror episode and it's scary.

through the course of you and Tom’s relationship,

you had never worn his clothes purposely

because you knew that once you started

his whole wardrobe would probably end up yours

the first time you ever wore Tom’s hoodies,

I need to actually start the process of writing down stuff to configure a door randomizer, but I'm pretty sure it is 100% possible, even possibly randomizing Dankovsky's starting location, although it might screw with quest scripting due to needing to talk to Eva by default therefore preventing the quest from spawning (amongst other issuees I noticed such as lack of storage; the other two spawn outside but you could theoretically change theirs as well) it's just something that would take a lot of fiddling depending on how much you want to do file editing vs running an outside script at the beginning of the game, plus I am not an experienced coder

As for characters, bound characters would be interesting to look at as you could theoretically randomize which buildings they spawn in by editing certain files (would have to look into that though) and in addition, you could *possibly* randomise which characters have what dialogue trees and also which heads are on which bodies. Characters wandering about can have their meshes changed to be different things, tho it can break the animations if the associated mesh doesn't have the capacity to run/attack/etc. or if the character has multiple textures - here is an example where I changed some of the characters into tragedians - and here is another example of how the characters with multiple textures can get messed up - more than likely the game might just crash if it doesn't like what you're changing

Items I haven't even looked at tho I think it'd require more understanding of the file which is not my area of expertise

My method of modding revolves around having an idea then brute forcing file changes until something sticks, then having someone who knows how files work try and explain whats going on, but it is all in the name of progress, if you don't try you'll never know, just remember to make a back-up of your files first

Hello! I really admire all the work you do! Do you think it’s possible with p1 or p2’s framework for randomization mods? I’m thinking like characters/doors/items (placements/effects/stats) etc. I know very little about coding but am interested about your thoughts on the likelihood!

hey thanks! P2 actually already has a randomization mod, FonzieD's excellent District Randomizer (also bundled with their overhaul mod Bound Again). it swaps around healthy/infected/burned district statuses at an intensity determined by day of the game, and while the code for this is unknown to me (have not tried to reverse engineer it yet, I would use JustAssembly to compare it to base files), it's only edits to VirtualMachine.Common.dll so randomization of other things is very plausible - this is all written in C#

@averagepathologicenjoyer has a concept on the back burner for a p1 door randomizer - you should definitely ask him about it! bottom line, p1's engine and scripting are so hard to edit at the moment (and other files so easy to get into the game) that the plan of action for any randomizers would be to run a randomization script outside of the game, generate a bunch of mod files that refer to each other, & then install those files and start a new game, kind of like how Elden Ring's randomizer does it. lot of flexibility here as long as you understand the file formats to output, which is something I really need to polish documentation on the Pathologic Modding Wiki for but <- here's the hub for these filetypes :-)

Alright I will try to keep it short and sweet because if I go IN I could type for hours but here some damn tea.  I wanna know what the hell was going through Jason’s mind when he was writing S5 we had so many opportunities to get closure and flashbacks and the characters learning about what changed in eahc other. But instead we got a half assed messed where most of the characters -especially Bellamy- are almost completely different people and we get no explanation besides It’S a TiMe JuMp  PeOpLe ChAnGe. The only good parts were Octavia’s story line and Diyoza.
