You yelled, eyes widened and mouth open, still angry. Scoffing loudly, you see four men in your peripheral vision. You turn to your left, eyes widened to see Carlos, Lewis, Charles, and Lando. You furrow your eyebrows, seeing Carlos stare at you. Your eyes widened, realizing that your wish earlier had come true. The song "Take a Chance With Me by Niki" was still playing. One of the lyrics played, making you blush slightly, trying to keep your composure. 

🎶 Electricity surging in the air 🎶

"You are gorgeous, I'm Lando."

 He smiles at you playfully, going in front of Carlos and reaching his hand out for yours. 

"Stop flirting with girls, Lando."

 Lewis rolls his eyes, approaching you closer and smiling. 

"Hi, I'm Lewis."

 Charles grins, furrowing his eyebrows as he nudges Lando. 

"Sorry about Lando, I'm Charles." 

He smiles. 

"Yeah, I know you guys." I smile softly. 

"Are you okay? That guy was awful." 

Carlos smiles at you; he flutters his eyes with his pretty eyelashes. Giving you the most seductive but loving look. God, how your heart beat so fast, but you had to stay strong. 

"Yeah, men are dogs."

 you rolled your eyes, crossing your arms as you raised an eyebrow. 

"Meow"

 Carlos chuckles, smiling at you, making the others laugh, shocked at Carlos' flirty behavior. 

You couldn't help but chuckle, and you playfully clicked your tongue. 

"Yeah, good luck tomorrow. I'll see you."

 You smile softly, winking at him as you walk away. You let out a deep and exasperated breath. Giggling like a teenager as you saw your crush. The song "Take a Chance With Me " by Niki still played until you went back to your hotel room and went to sleep. 

Meanwhile, down at the lounge of the hotel. The guys stayed there, Lewis smiling and laughing as he teased Carlos, 

"Flirting 101."

 The others laughed along, and so did Carlos. 

"I found my charm now."

 He smiled as they all went back to their hotel rooms.

Okay I’ve had time to wallow. Though I won’t think that helps what I feel.  

So I know yn must be going through it. How can she really ask him not to go on the date when they’ve decided to take it slow and by ear. I’d feel “am I being too possessive?” Or “do I even have the right to ask?” But at the same I can imagine Seokjins inner dialogue of how he received hearing yn tell him he should go on the date. He could just be like “just tell me you don’t want me to, I won’t.” Or he could just even want to hear it from yn that she just doesn’t want him to. Hearing her kinda of go “yeah go for it” (even though I know that’s not how she said it) he could feel.. in his feels about it.  They’re so scared of ruining what could potentially be, but at the same time… I feel like this could also hurt their relationship as well. The kicker is, is that this situation is so realistic, and I mean how they’re approaching it, their hesitance. The fact that they’re scared they feel more than the other, or they think the other is only staying with them because of glob.  

Jin doesn’t want to freak yn out by wanting too much think she doesn’t want the same. And yn is insecure that the only reason why jin is even here and staying at all is because of glob. It hurts, so much? But in a good way. Well. In that good way someone reading would appreciate a book is even making them feel something so real and visceral.

Ahh, I’m so happy you’re feeling their hesitancy with the whole situation! It’s a tough one because we as readers know that they both really like one another but are afraid for the same reasons. We want them to talk it out, but at the same time, can understand why they’re not. But don’t worry, because all of this is happening for a reason! It’s pushing them to be honest with one another despite how difficult it is! 

I’m hurt but in the best of ways. The cliffhanger was powerful, the nail in the coffin if you will. I could feel the hurt that yn felt with that one phrase. I can feel her insecurities literally manifest in one night. I can’t wait to find out how the blind date went with Seokjin and Suzie?? Was it?? I’m sick to my stomach thinking about it, but I’m too curious.. the worst part is, is that suzie is probably a really great person. Yn probably can’t help but feel like she’s in the way of his great romance. But what she doesn’t realize, and what jin wants her to realize, is that they could have their own great romance too. 🥺

Eehhh, might as well, hehe. I do, it's @sofie-minnett, and I have it because it's kinda of my inspiration blog, because I like writing songs (although I don't mention it much because #1. ok this is the first thing that first came to mind and i think it's so funny so that's the one i'm gonna go with

cue little eight year old mickey right. my family and our relatives were all at our family home, eating breakfast in the big room. there are multiple windows and when you look out you can see the front door right.... remember that. anyway, there's like 15 people in the room bla bla and i was sent to go fetch the fucking newspaper or smth.

so i go outside. and there's Three big steps there. okay another very important fact that i was a very. very very clumsy kid. let's continue. i fall down the three massive steps. of course. bare knees and all, fly right into the asphalt underneath but the thing is... i was clumsy but i wasn't a crier. like i always fell off trees and there literally wasn't a single summer until i was like 16 where my knees were NOT bruised and bloody lmao.

I’m not Mormon myself but I’ve watched a lot of youtube videos from a former Mormon and if he heard your story, he would probably say they look at you disapprovingly because they disapprove anybody who goes against their teachings. You don’t have to say or do anything to give them that reason so don’t feel intimidated by them. (They’re probably more afraid of you than you are of them 2bh)

hahahhaa fair enough, and they should be afraid of me. i will fight. (i shout at almost everyone who hates me lmao)

honestly i try to give mormons the benefit of the doubt (and i’m sure in other states, the religion is much less intense and balanced). but the way mormons in general have treated me and my family since i’ve been a kid has been absolutely ridiculous yeah.

my neighbor’s children were not allowed to play with me and my brother because we weren’t mormon. my dad in high school was constantly asked which sect he was in because he wasn’t seen at church, and when he said he wasn’t in a sect, his peers either shunned him or tried to trick him into being baptised/attending church. as an adult, i have been aggressively guilt-tripped/debated with to go to church by many people i’ve encountered. other times, when i was ostracized as a kid, i realized after i grew up that it was Mormon-related.

these are not uncommon experiences. in fact, they are probably the silver lining of experiences.

plus there’s the fact that my state voted republican in the last two elections. and also in general, we have one of the highest youth suicide rates in the country :/ and it’s largely because of the way the church handles lgbt+ people and their families (like u literally have to reject your child in order to continue going to church. doesn’t matter if you’re straight or if your child is a teenager. you have to write a letter disowning them basically. note: this might have changed recently but still)

it’s a fucking clusterfuck hereee.

like, i don’t think a lot of people from other states really understand how pervasively the mormon culture has corrupted our government and society in utah. and i live in a blue district. i can’t imagine what it’s like in provo where the BYU college resides :’)

okay okay, im late sorry but HI HIII im excited to be finally hereee :) im cate and i absolutely don't know what to say here lmao i play this snob melancholy kid sera ~

she isn't friendly, and a people person. she learned that at an early age since no one wants to talk to a know it all and she was always giving out trivia to anyone who wants to listen. and well, kids wanted to play

she was incredibly curious and eager to learn as a kid, being her dad a professor and all. they always had these star gazing nights with her older brother and she'll ask about anything from stars to anything about the world really. hence how she became a science nerd, all about nature and life and what not

she likes to be in control, likes to be on top on things so she has like a schedule to follow (most of the time) in a week or in a month. (you probably also don't want her in group projects or you do, in which case she'll make sure everyone does their part)

and so, having sudden powers puts a big wrench in the gears and it absolutely freaks her out. still of course she tries not to make it an issue also not fidget with her hands too much

she has a really poor sense of direction. getting hyperfocused on something while traveling is a big no no for her. google maps is her great friend, as are friends who can come get her when all hope is lost :D

she's studying biological sciences, something she feels infinitely happy about. and wants to make a difference in the environment. hopes she can break into the healthcare field too

she's an epitome of a monolith, it's hard to breach her barriers and reach deep into her feelings. it will take time and perhaps when she feels she's at the brink will she reach out for someone. her greatest worries being her older brother who is on the road to  healing (which she hopes he actually is). she tries to help by talking to him; texting, calling. though she could at times with school and that adds to her guilt on top of failing to save him from his attempted suicide D:

other than that well, on a daily basis you'll see her with a book or doing schoolwork and being snobbish to most people lmao. she wouldn't turn down a talk or two with friends of course. 

i guess that's it, for now at least. i'm going to raid visit people's IMs in a bit, and maybe post an open starter later to kick things off :) it's nice meeting u all!
