Catch me out here making posts on how to collect milkweed seeds because I'm hoping at least SOMEONE out there has good luck

*collapses to the ground* my fuckin swamp milkweeds got Heat Waved and barely even flowered, let alone got pollinated.... I'll have to see if my root stock ones or Swampy even come back next year, but this year definitely isn't the Year of the Ani Swamp Milkweed Success

#out of queue #ani rambles #oh yeah if anyone was wondering I do name my milkweeds sometimes #my three root stock swamp milkweeds are named Ross Lizanne and Alana #then I got Swampy. Swampy lives in the big pot by my window.#then I got Taylor. Taylor's another swamp milkweed she lives with Ross Lizanne and Alana #I also got a big butterfly weed plant and 2 plugs so they're named Albert Brett and Isaac #i think they died kinda early on though. Either that or I just can't fucking find them #what i thought was Albert ended up being my bee balm plant so minus 2 points in my milkweed identification skill #my bestie recently got me 3 swamp milkweeds and one of them had a butterfly weed growing in its pot too #i forgot to water them so i thought they died but they came back so i put them in a pot recently near Swampy #i havent officially named them yet but I have ideas #I might name two of the swamp milkweeds Morgan and Charlotte #and maybe I'll name the little butterfly weed Miles #but I still need a name for the third swamp milkweed.......#or actually. scratch that #third swamp milkweed is Miles and the butterfly weed is gonna be Maddi #anyways long story short #Swampy Ross Lizanne Alana and Taylor MIGHT be dead #I haven't been able to even FIND Albert Brett or Isaac since like July #Morgan Charlotte Miles and Maddi are my newest additions and are currently confirmed FINE #BUT its almost October so if they can't get super situated before the frosts start later this year they may be doomed #granted im in North Florida so frosts won't happen until late December/early January but STILL #and NONE of them flowered #well clarification #Swampy flowered but no other swamp milkweeds were flowering at the same time as her #I think Taylor ALMOST flowered but then heat wave happened #either Morgan Charlotte or Miles WAS flowering when I first got them but then Heatwave Happened #so uh. unless I get a post-heatwave economic miracle. no swamp milkweed seeds for me.

#bless the good budtenders #went and stocked up on flower #and i kept an eye on the scale and they were definitely well over 3.5g but i was only charged for standard weight 😊#i miss working in a dispensary sometimes #i don't miss the shitty owners or bullshit work politics or trash conditions #but i miss working with the product and learning new stuff and interacting with the nice customers #i wish there was a way for me to work at one for just like a few hours a week #enough to earn a discount and some free samples and to keep in touch with the community #life of faye #stoner geek chic #weed #420

For some reason my degree - not my university or my professors but my degree itself, apparently - requires me to do an in person week every year. That's a 9-5, 5 days in a row, four years in a row.

And I tried to tell them that would be really really hard on me with my disabilities and they literally can't do anything about it??? It's a fucking social work degree???? The curriculum literally covers disability accessibility, accommodations and rights!

#All I could do is stock up on some medicinal weed for the evenings to help cope with the pain...#maybe I should just be stoned in class if the pain gets too bad. fuck em #it literally didn't need to be this way. all of the content could have been online #people are travelling from out of town to be here for it because it's an online course 😭

bro i know its literally already been proven that weed helps so many conditions and is more effective for some people than regular prescription medication but my friend gave me like actual good weed last night because i dont have access to my medication rn and i swear to god i havent slept that well or woken up this like... Not In Pain, without medication, in YEARS.

#like i wish it didnt feel so fucked up and shady to be like hey can someone send me weed money #cuz it works better than my sleep and pain meds and my access also isnt gonna get limited because doctors like to play god #but god as soon as i get this shit sorted. as soon as my payments are fucking fixed. as soon as this debt is off my fucking shoulders #im stocking up #i stopped smoking for awhile because i just didnt have the funds but its like i literally always forget how much good it does me #the very first thing that granted me any reprieve from (most of) my body pain short of LITERAL MORPHINE I WAS GIVEN AFTER SURGERY #was smoking. and i hate that thats a thing that does help because i feel like it makes me specifically sound like a dumbass #but god it helps. finding the stuff thats right for me helps so much. my tolerance with meds is wack and adheres to no dose or schedule #but at least i could maybe use this when the sleep or pain meds dont work and vice versa #txt #drugs

I'm so confused by this place near me that delivers edibles except they all cost between $150-$500 and also you don't even need to involve the weed, that's a "special add on", you could just get $150 cookies but also it's not really a transaction it's "a donation" and these are "gifts" and also everything needs to be paid for in cash. I would call this a drug front but they are pretty openly selling drugs so wtf is going on here.
