The adultification of black children, especially on Tik Tik is driving me absolutely wild. The way people managed to see a couple of pixels that is so clearly meant to be a little girl as a nearly grown ass teen is insane. When will y’all finally see black kids as what they are? Kids. Amanda is literally/based on Rebecca who is a little tiny girl but y’all have 0 problem keeping her a child if she’s white ☠️ oh okay

And the white washing is even more prominent…it’s obvious she’s meant to have tight coils and Afro puffs, n her skin is obviously dark. Why are you giving her loose or even STRAIGHT hair? And what’s with the obsession with bangs, my girl has her shit slicked BACK, if anything at most do her edges…completely ridiculous. And the making her lightskinned or white…why. You can easily color pick her skin if moving your cursor over to the browns in your color wheel is just too hard for you. She is a dark skinned little girl with 4c hair, please don’t change that. It’s rare we get black characters in horror. Don’t take it from us.

We have been coming to terms with a structure that is not entirely straightforward existing within us. I am Lila right now but struggle with communicating and find it easier to speak in the third person, so apologize. Lila is so fucking tired. Hi I saw your post about Pong and tbh I think the thing about Genshin is that they are primarily a gacha game marketing to male Chinese players. The characters that get the most attention and make the most money are all young women and little girls. They are all smooth and pale with large breast (or lolli) because that is what the male player base jacks off to.

Yes, you're 100% correct, and many Americans also like these types of characters! These characters are what the whales will go for first hand too

But this is their most successful game! It has reached the whole world, it's on multiple platforms. Most people that aren't from china, don't even know that the game operates this way and will just get sad that their favorite character isn't getting the spotlight

Gosh, when they put merch on their Amazon, everything is bought within minutes, cause people love these characters and want to show their love

I just think that once in a while, it would be nice to cater to other groups that also play the game, we are here too, we support the game too and I think we deserve to see things we like

It's also maddening when there's an opportunity right there and they don't take it cause they want to use or do young girls characters or mommy characters

/he performed the same number or maybe even less covers when he did fetsivals/ shows pre- walls era/ I hadn't even thought to check this so I just did and you're right. 1-2 1D songs at those shows, and he has a wholeass album "written to be performed" now. It's absolutely inexplicable. I'm starting to think the fan support has stunted him because he doesn't know how to perform for non-fans.

Whatever he releases next will probably be good, but wasting a festival season when he gets no exposure elsewhere is depressing af.

To be fair, he's always been nervous to perform in front of crowds. Especially unfamiliar ones and aotv made me see how serious that anxiety was. Before, i could see his nervousness, his anxiety but i never thought it run so deep that he could not even enjoy his performance (until the Scala show ❤️‍🩹). But I think he was under so much oppression as an artist by his record label aka Sony, that he was just so eager and determined to release his solo work (when he was asked how he feels about walls' release, he always answered with "relief"). He performed so many unreleased walls songs for the first time in ccme. I can't help but bitterly think the man that chose this setlist would've been content to just sing 12 one dead covers and call it a day. Maybe surrounding himself with such a useless team (and therefore yes men) dimmed that fire a little. Maybe it' not even a confidence issue, maybe he simply believe that it's the smart thing to do. In any case, it really is so depressing that 5 years and two brillant albums later, here we fucking are: four covers on the setlist for his festival runs, ot5s and larries celebrating and solo fans (the only ones that give a fuck about his career) beeing attacked and called out for wanting him to sing his beautiful songs instead.

WEEK tWO of working on my portfolio every day during lunch! ^_^ its funny...despite this being a terrible TERRIBLE week of real work....i still looked forward to going in just because i had something actually constructive to work on every day. So F1.. here is an idea

Take the names of all the FIA Grade 1 Race tracks around the world and throw it in a hat. Pull like 15 tracks randomly (honestly I thought this season was over already and then my alert for Vegas came on and I was like “there is another one?! I thought we are done! Season is too long bruh!). After that, set a schedule that makes sense (we are not doing Canada, then Monaco and then US… no!)

I’ve seen footage of some of the coolest tracks that is so interesting in layout and here they have successfully make it a bloody circus instead of the insane talent and skill it really has.

F1 also needs to help so countries who are on the Grade 2 listing get their stuff ready for the next season.

This big show bullshit and expensive tickets is not worth it. People are already tired and would rather watch WEC (okay you can watch it because it’s really cool) and other motorsport because their tickets are wayyyy more affordable.

i know people like to point out a lot of shit about Americans, but like what do you expect us to do?

it’s a privileged attitude to say “just make your own change” or “just leave the country”—most people can’t just leave. That’s also demanding people to leave their communities and relationships that they have built on top of having funds to move.

a lot of us get that we have the worst healthcare system, we work until we die, we don’t have access to solid transportation systems—we get it.

I am 27. A lot of my friends still live at home. Nobody can afford studios on 1 income anymore. Cost of living in big cities and the west is usually at least one of your paychecks, and even more. We are plagued by student loans.

The people we vote for don’t even represent our interests. They commit genocide, they focus on self interest, they are not here for us.

So before you engage in this topic, remember y’all aren’t the ones living here.
