Okay so, recently I’ve been rewatching this show called Person of Interest, and my brain said. Well.

Fox, setting blasters to kill: And remember, aim for the kneecaps. We need them alive

Okay okay, the things I love about this season:

1. KEYLETH OF THE AIR ASHARI - what a beautiful way to pay an homage to this character while also giving a big middle finger to her naysayers. Experiencing the Marisha hate in real time back during C1, I did get teary eyed here.

2. Vax killing Thordak - my little hero, my emo boi, the animation and artistry in those panes are chef’s kiss.

3. True Love’s Crit & "I want an arrow through her heart.. and one in her mouth while she screams". They did us Perc’ahlia followers good at the end of this.

4. Zerxus 😈 - this is how we win a Calamity series.

5. I do like the thread of “The gods aren’t perfect” because that will be a really nice point if we’re ever able to get to a BH show. I like them setting the stage early early on in the show. In the original campaign while you disagreed at time as a viewer I feel it was less prevalent that the gods didn’t have good intent overall (aside from obvious ones)

I am intrigued to see where we go next. I mean Vecna likely but it’ll be interesting for them to adapt some of these episodes and to see what they choose to focus on (def KiKi finishing her aramente, maybe Vex and the Wild Hunt!, I also am a Tary truther I don’t think they’ll cut him out but I do hope they strengthen his arc a little, pike blood?? Uhm?!?, Scanlan adventures w Kaley?)

Day 17 - Truthful Longing

Pairings: Sinclair Bryant x Fem!Reader, Lionel Shabandar & Fem!Reader

Summary: In where [Y/n] mulls over how to get revenge on thot face.

A/N: SINCLAIR AGAIN? YES I TOLD YOU HE'S BEING SPOILED THE WAY HE DESERVES. I laughed way to hard writing this, it's pure crack and is a squeal to this rickmas fic from last year LOL. [Y/n] longs for revenge.

Ever since that fateful encounter with Natalie the evening of Sinclair's dinner party for work months ago, [Y/n] just couldn't shake the negative energy that swirled around inside her. 

It was ridiculous, but the image of that woman with her atrocious red fingernails digging into her, Sinclair, and trying to get him to come home with her just made her so damn angry!

The nerve of some people! How do you even gather such an amount of audacity to try and beg for someone back when you cheated on them with your own fucking brother?  Not only that, her begging wasn't even good! 

Nothing less than her kneeling on a bed of nails, and asking for forgiveness would do, anything else was a nonstarter. Not that Sinclair would ever start anything with that woman again, as shown by his dismissal of her.

Also, who the hell shows up out of the blue on the streets of London in the middle of the night to try and get back with their ex? How did she even know they were there? Was it a coincidence? Who knows? 

But all of this swirled in [Y/n]'s head and truthfully, she had a longing to just smack the woman right then and there. Because Sinclair sure wasn't going to. No, no, he was too nice, too sweet, and also the thought of physical violence against anyone was out of the question for him.  

He wouldn't dare lay a hand on anyone as he simply just wasn't that person. But ohhh, little did he know his [Y/n] was. Would she actually do it? No, probably not because she would be ashamed at how upset it would make her puppy, and she never wanted to do anything to hurt him, unlike some people.  Also, she didn't fancy a stint in jail. But of course, that's only if she was caught.

Ah, just the thought of her caressing that blond woman's face with a chair swung hard enough that no one would mistake it as an accident. It was truly a wonderful thought, and one she would pay money for as her Christmas gift. She had truly been longing to make that woman's life hell, even before they met but now? Oh now, she wanted to get even.

Would she commit murder? No, but she sure would find a less murdery way to make her pay…and well, who else better connected than a certain cousin of Sinclair's to help?

And this was how the plot to bring upon the downfall Sinclair's ex, she who must not be named, started.

"You want my assistance in doing what now?" Lionel asked incredulously, as he stared at [Y/n] who was standing in front of his desk unexpectedly on a Monday morning, and demanding him to well…well he didn't know!

"Don't look at me like that Lionel, you can act as shocked as you want but you hate her as much as I do for what she did to Clair," she hissed as she slapped the top of the desk. "She's been a free woman for too long and I want her to suffer."

"Unfortunately, the last I've heard is that having an affair isn't a jailable offense.  And also how do you imagine we do that? Hire a hitman and kill her, don't be absurd."

"I never said anything about killing her."

"Well the look in your eyes clearly conveys otherwise." 

She went silent, and he smirked at her with that infernal smile of triumph knowing he was right.

Goddamn rich people. So what if maybe murder had been a thought. She wouldn't ever do it, or hire someone like he as mentioned, but she sure did wish for bad things to happen to that lady. Okay maybe not bad bad or whatever, because you know what goes around comes around, but something very inconvenient. 

Like her pillow always being hot, or her shoe strings always untied. Or you know when your pocket snags on something and you've already had a bad day. Yes. She wishes for that everyday of that woman’s life.

'Oh god [Y/n] get a hold of yourself.'

"Look as much as I've reveled at the thought of her getting hit by a bus, we can't kill her. That would just make Sinclair miserable."

"First of all we are not doing anything. Secondly miserable is a strong word. Maybe inconvenienced but I hardly think he shed a tear," Lionel thought, before shaking his head in slight disbelief that he was even giving this any thought at all.  "Also does Sinclair even know you're here asking for my services to help you commit crimes against his ex-wife? I'm sure he be conflicted that we are bonding over something like this.

"Aww we are bonding aren't we? I didn't think about it like that," she smiled nodding her head at his words before her face shifted back into a concentrated expression that had Lionel very confused. "But also have you even met your cousin? He's the most sentimental person I've ever met. He may not be married to her anymore or even like her but she was still his wife it'll upset him."

"You have a point." 

"I know, so what do we do? How do we make that bitch miserable without making him miserable?"

"Language please [Y/n]. If you're going to use foul language here at least be more creative."

"Sorry excuse me," she cleared her throat before rewording her phrase in the poshest voice she could manage. "How are we going to bring that absolute conniving cunt of a woman down?" 

A scoff of amusement left his throat at her harsh words before he earnestly thought about what to do. How do you get revenge on a cheating ex that caused so much damage to your best friend, and cousin. Also how to do that without murder, or anything that would get them thrown into prison.  Not that murder had been on the table or anything. That's how you ended up on a true crime documentary.

Lionel sat silently for a moment a thoughtful expression on his features as [Y/n] paced around his office also thinking of plans of attack. Minutes passed as he mulled over ideas, and slowly things began to fall into place in his mind. A smile crept across his lips slowly, his eyes narrowing like a predator watching his prey that was unaware of their presence. 

She saw this change take over him, and paused her pacing, going quickly to sit in front of him once more as the hazy idea became more clear.

"You have an idea, don't you?"

"Perhaps."

It had been months after that talk, in which he told her he had a plan, but he didn't even have the decency to tell her what it all entailed. How dare he come up with a plan for a problem she pointed out to him and not tell her! 

"I'm the richest man in England love I can do what I want I believe."

Wanker. 

But he was right, and he had a plan, along with the resources to execute them so she would leave it up to him. 

Whatever it was.

"[Y/n] darling guess what Lionel told me today!" Sinclair's voice made it into the dining room before he did  and when he showed up he was grinning like made.

"Did he buy out another media company in another country?" She asked nonchalantly as she put down a book she had been reading as she had lunch.

Coming up to her, Sinclair leaned down and kissed her cheek and she happily reciprocated it with one of her own before he found a seat next to her. 

"Nope not this time but he did buy out this recruitment agency! He told me today that he wanted more experienced people to do recruitment for his company and what better way to do that than to hire an entire agency for it!"

That piqued her interest. A recruitment agency? Huh?  Couldn't he just hire a bunch of folks who did all that kind of stuff directly instead of buying out a whole company? She was puzzled for a moment and about to point that out until,

'Ding'

The light bulb cut on in her head and she remembered something Sinclair had told her in passing one day.

"Wait, didn't you tell me you know who worked at an employment agency?"

"Her name won't summon her into the house [Y/n]," Sinclair chuckled at the way she avoided mentioning Natalie's name. "But yes…I think that's the one Lionel bought! Yes, he told me the name, I'll ask him again but isn't that funny? Hopefully, we won't have to see her around if we go and visit Lionel. What a coincidence!"

Trying to hide the smirk that was forming on her lips, and sending a mental good job to Lionel for his deviousness and using his money in a slightly humorous way, [Y/n] just nodded, a tiny chuckle leaving her lips before she answered with, 

"Ehehe, a coincidence indeed."

Christmas had just come early.

A/N: does Lionel fire her? No but does he make sure her supervisor makes life hard , absolutely. Im sure she was quaking when she heard who bought the agency hbvhbhbbh
