Hi everyone this not so quick update about my state, it has some heavy topics so I'm gonna put some trigger warning please keep that in mind and don't worry I'll get to everything eventually 

TW: Suicide, Self Harm, COSA, Religious Trauma, Abuse 

Now with that being said I wanna start by saying Hi, it's been almost a year since the whole thing happened, it was emotional rollercoaster but I can assure I'm still alive and start my journey to recover ❤️‍🩹 

Did I leave home?

No but my mom got a promotion out of the town and I only see her once sometimes twice a week, she did try to make me move with her but couldn't because of college (I only got one year left YAY!!) 

Is she still a pain ?

Yeah nothing changed about her she is still as controlling, she gave me back my phone but put a child lock on it so I won't be able to access any app except the ones related to college, and she gave me back my laptop (which I'm using to write this on it)

Ok now onto the heavy topics, I found myself relapsing into my old bad habit, cutting and biting myself until it bleeds I haven't done that since highschool,to put it blunt I didn't have irl friends or at least a support system, and metal health in my country is a taboo and being from a well known family in a small town isn't helping, so the idea of a therapy is out of the window, and being alone with my thoughts didn't help

And then my first attempting, idk why but I couldn't do it I guess I was scared, no one was home that day and even had razors but I couldn't. I was able to find my dad's old laptop and typed for suicide hotline and to my surprise there was. The lady on the phone helped me a lot because I was going through a bad panic attack. At the end of the call she told me to talk to my mom about it, she's a doctor after all and there's no shame in it, but come on now that's my we're talking about. I told her I'll try 

Fast forward: I was visiting mom in the city she's working now at, the job comes with a free rental apartment, anyway me and her had a heart to conversation and me being the idiot that I am thought about it was opportunity to talk about some childhood trauma, it's painful to talk about it but don't worry I'm coming with the term that it wasn't my fault. (I'll highlights the next paragraph so don't have to read it if it upset you I'm writing it so u can understand the context)

I was a victim of COSA (child on child sexual assault) by my cousin who is the same age as me (we both were 7 at the time) , she unfortunately had an early access to internet and would show me sexual images. I told my cousin about the bulling I was going through school because I like a boy and said I would marry him (which extremely forbidden in my Religious school) so my bullies made a rumor about me being a loss child and I would going out which older boys, the rumors were so bad one of the teachers pulled me aside and confronted me about it, she knew I was a good kid so there was no way.

I told my cousin about it, I trusted her and what do you she did? That's right she blackmailed and told me I didn't do whatever she wanted she would tell my mom about my secret. So there I was me and her in a small room at our grandma's house, things happened I don't want to recall and I don't think I'll be able. no matter how I begged and cry, I just kept numbing myself until it's over, this still habit I have , one the thing I do to survive 

I told mom about, my childhood trauma, my suicide attempt. she was understandly horrified, she tried to comfort me but this processed to say it was my fault that I let that happen, I told her I was scared and still a child 

Then I told that I was messed up and need a professional help to which she said "we don't need that I'll fix you myself"

The next day me and her got into a fight over something stupid to which she as always had to pull the secrets I told her against me "Why don't you fucking kill yourself already? You said wanted to do it, huh? Now it's your time at least you'll save a headache" she said that in front of my brother 

I know whenever she gets mad she would go so low but even that was low for her, that was the one time I trusted her with something so personal I never told to anyone and somehow she managed to shutter every lasting trust I had in her. Part of me still thought everything she would do was out of love, that was tough love and she only hurt me because she care but I guess at that moment truly open my eyes 

I came to her that night and told her that what she said really hurt me and I trusted her with something very personal to which she dismissed and said "oh [name] me and you know well that you'll never kill yourself, you're too coward anyway" 

Out of all the things she said to me that has to cruelest thing ever, maybe because part of me know she was right but I didn't think she would say it out loud 

After that everything went blur for me, summer course I started to see her less and less. In the few weeks without her were strange to say the least. I come home and it's... quiet? No shouting, no yelling, no screaming no nothing. It was weird, I didn't know what to do with that quiet, I felt if I relaxed to much she might jump out of nowhere and scream at me, but I have to say it was nice, I felt like I can breathe? Like no one is watching everything I do waiting for me to make a mistake. It is not ideal she still come every week but honestly it's better than nothing. I started to write a little in my notes every now and then, I even started to draw again. Both brought me comfort, and I even allowed myself to make friends, it's not a big group but hey we get along. There's on in particular friend group I'm close to the most, she's lovely, keep talking and texting me to check, I gotta say it was a bit overwhelming but I'll never tell her to stop because that's how she shows she care

Life has been slow lately, same old routine but I'm more happy and more idk calm? I mean a few months ago I thought I won't be alive today and what do you know! I turned 23 two mouths ago (happy late birthday to I guess?) I think that is a good a step for me start healing, it won't happen over night but I know it will be worth it

Timeline (1985 - 2002): Wren is the heiress to the Worthington Airlines travel empire. Her grandfather Warren aided in the war effort along the likes of Howard Stark, but exited defense after the war to pursue commercial travel. Under his son's ownership, Worthington Airlines became one of the biggest luxury airlines in the world. Warren Jr was so dead-set on continuing the family name that he had no other names planned but Warren III. When the baby turned out to be a girl, Wren's name was a suggestion from her mother after her birth.

Wren was an energetic child, which prompted her parents to sign her up for extracurriculars after her excitability became too much of a nuisance to both them and the family house staff. Athletics and pagentry were the two most noteworthy ventures, and the former being one Wren held in high regard all through childhood. Wren has often compared it to her wings: It's something wholly her own, and is only limited by her own applications. By adolescence, Wren was enrolled into the Massachusetts Academy. She was pressured by her parents to involve herself with the Hellions, a school clique made up of children of Hellfire Club members such as herself. Wren maintained a minimal association with the Hellions, preferring the company of the school jocks. Wren became a prized track and field star while at the Academy, and by the time she was sixteen she and her parents were routinely speaking with college and Olympic scouts.

Timeline (2002): Around her eighteenth birthday, however, when Wren's mutant traits began to develop. It reportedly started off as cramps and strains in her shoulders, then visible bruises that grew all over her upper back. Wren eventually awoke in the middle of the night from a sharp pain and discovered nubs growing out from the bruises. Wren's family was already in the area to pick her up for holiday, and Wren's father refused to send her to a hospital for alleged concern over unwanted attention on the family, and instead hired two specialists to meet with them in the Worthington winter cabin up in the Adirondack Mountains for personal treatment.

One of those specialists was none other than the Professor. Even in the short drive from the city to update, Wren's mutation was rapidly growing. By the time he has arrived, her wings had fully grown, feathers and all. Though her parents were distressed, once the pain and shock of her growing wings faded Wren was reportedly elated with her changes. The Professor has said that his and Wren's earliest exchanges mostly occurred telepathically, as Wren opted to spend winter break soaring across the area rather than he around her parents.

On the last day of holiday, Week checked her phone to find a series of voicemails from a school friend, Amanda Cobb. Amanda had confided to Wren in a moment of great distress over being abused by a coach at the Academy (Weeks earlier, Amanda had walked in on Wren inspecting the bruises along her back and assumed she was being abused by the coach as well). This revelation threw Wren into a blind rage, putting her abilities to the limit by flying uninterrupted from Adirondack to Massachusetts in little under an hour. Wren hauled the coach high into the sky and let him plummet back down. By all accounts, it was only through the Professor's psychic intervention that Wren was restrained from letting the coach crash back down to Earth. It was certainly enough to coerce the him to confess his crimes.

Timeline (2003): By the time classes resumed at the Academy, the school was so swept up in scandal that Wren's wings barely registered to most. The school board did request that Wren conceal them out of concern of "distracting" other students, to which she begrudgingly complied. To Wren's astonishment, the Hellions accepted her with open arms, revealing that they were all mutants themselves. Wren took every opportunity to abstain from the Academy grounds and finish her education through the Professor's personal tutoring, though she kept tabs with the Hellions, both out of the Professor's request and Wren's own curiosity.

Integrating with the rest of the group, Wren quickly took it upon herself to become the leader, something I didn't object to at the time. She had a far more blunt and proactive personality than I did at the time, and her background made her far better at working crowds and being a public figure than I was. At the time, Wren was also the only one of us who was an open mutant, and to her credit she took jer newfound duties as a mutant activist very seriously. This is best exemplified when Wren swooped to Bobby's defense when his own powers briefly put him in legal trouble.

Where Wren did display hesitance was when we all set out to intervene at Santo Marco. Not because she objected to us intervening, but because she recognized how her usual tactics not suit such a sensitive situation. Over the course of that mission, our group dynamic was forced to shift and adapt, and by the end congealed into the X-Men that people would come to know later that year. Wren continued to be the face of the group, but tactical duties had effectively fallen upon me.

What has got you distraught?

You had been invited to one of your friend’s housewarming parties at the last minute. At the grocery store earlier that day, Wendy had come up to you, wrapping her arms around you in a tight hug. She explained to you how she’s now moving out and she would love to have you at her party. You agreed, Wendy was one of your friends since the sandbox. She even asked if Pete would like to come, and you nodded excitedly, finishing your shopping and rushing home to let Pete know of the plans.

When you got there and started bringing groceries in, Pete was hunched over the kitchen table, delicately adding touches to the painting he’s been working on for 2 months now. You waited until he set down the brush to help you put away groceries before telling him the news. “I don’t want to go to her house.” he replied, uninterested in the idea of going to Wendy’s party.

You pouted, giving your boyfriend the biggest puppy dog eyes to try and convince him. Instead of relenting, he just shrugged. “Why don’t we stay home? It’s nicer here.” Pete offered, slinging an arm around your shoulders. “Wendy’s my friend, and has been forever. I just want to do this nice thing for her.” you answered, resting your head on his shoulder. “Why don’t you wanna go?” you inquired, looking up at his deep brown eyes. He looked away, not giving an answer.

Truth be told, his last experience with a “popular person’s” house party ended with him and his group of friend’s being bullied. Granted, it wasn’t Wendy’s party, but he didn’t want to relive the traumatizing moment again. Pete just assumed from that point on that it made the offenders feel better about themselves by putting other people down. It was like a game. A game where the least important people were pushed down so that those who peaked in highschool can be put on a pedestal.

You went upstairs to change, passing your boyfriend who had made himself comfortable on the couch. If he didn’t want to go, he didn’t have to. But, Wendy has always been a really good friend, so you were going to go. Opening the door to the bedroom, you stepped in, making your way to the closet to find an outfit for the night.

You didn’t even notice when Pete had come in behind you, sitting on the bed while he watched you go through your closet. “I still think you should stay here tonight.” he piped up, causing you to yelp and jump in surprise. Turning to him, you shot him a half hearted glare, choosing to ignore the amused smirk on his face.

“I wish you would come with me. Just for a second, long enough to give Wendy her gift.” you replied, grabbing your choice of clothes. You turned, laying them out on the bed beside Pete. The goth hd began to pick at this nails, something he did when he was thinking hard about something. Beginning to get dressed, you were surprised when he let out a disdained sigh and got up to go to his own closet.

Both of you were walking up to Wendy’s front door. You were carrying the gift you had gotten for her after you left the grocery store, and Pete had his hands tucked into his pockets. He was nervous, his face clearly spelling it out. Taking notice, you nudged him with your elbow, shooting him a smile and leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek. “Whenever you’re ready to go, we’ll go.” you reassured him. Pete smiled weakly back at you, nodding his head.

Arriving at the door step, you knocked at the door. A moment later, Wendy swung the door open. “Hey (Y/n)! Hey Pete!” she exclaimed, hugging you. “Hey Wendy!” you chirped back, moving the present out of the way before she could crush it. She was obviously a little intoxicated already, evidenced by an almost empty wine glass in her hand.

“Come on in!” she said, stepping to the side to allow you in. You hurried through the doorway, Pete following close behind you. Setting the present down on the table, it wasn’t long before Wendy came back carrying 3 glasses of wine. Grabbing 2 of them from her, you passed one to Pete who all but chugged the glass. He was nervous, the fact being very obvious. His eyes darted around the room, taking in all of the faces he recognized and those he didn’t.

Pete wasn’t in his comfort zone. In fact, he was more jumpy every minute he was at the party. He just wanted to run away, back to the safety of his dingy little 2 person home, back with you just settled on the couch and drinking from your own bottle of wine. He looked to you, watching you talk with Wendy about her new home. Pete wanted to leave. He could feel his breath becoming erratic, tears pricking at his eyes as he involuntarily flashbacked the the party where he was humiliated infront of everyone.

“Hey, sorry to cut in, but do you mind showing me where the restroom is?” Pete cut into your conversation. It took Wendy a moment to register what he said. She giggled at her self, smacking her forehead. “Yeah, just go right down the hallway. 2nd door on the left.” she answered, pointing to a hallway a few feet from your group. He thanked her, setting his wine glass down and rushing to the room.

You wondered why Pete had suddenly left like that. Wendy talked to you, but it just went in one ear and straight out the other. You didn’t even notice when she got distracted by Stan, who came and got her from where you were standing. “I’ll be back in just a sec!” Wendy said to you, snapping you out of your thought. “Okay, I’ll be here!” you chirped, throwing a smile in her direction. As soon as she was far enough away, you snuck off to the bathroom Pete has went into.

Knocking on the door, you called out his name to let him know it was just you. Trying the door knob, you saw it wasn’t locked and you stepped in, shutting and locking the door behind you. Pete was sat on the edge of the tub, picking at his nails again. Stepping over to him, you sat beside him, bringing your hand up to rub his back. He didn’t pay you much mind, instead staring off into the distance. “Pete… What’s wrong? Do we need to leave?” you asked softly, drawing his attention to you.

Pete looked at you finally, an unreadable emotion on his face. “I’m fine. You should be enjoying the party.” he reassured, patting your thigh. You frowned, leaning your head on his shoulder. “I can’t enjoy it knowing you’re not okay.” you retorted, curling your arm around his. He rested his cheek against the top of your head.

He wasn’t going to force you to leave if you didn’t want to. Pete thought about his previous experiences with parties, and decided for you to ignore his true feelings about being here. “I’m fine, I promise. Let’s go finish up so we can leave.” he said, picking his head up off of your shoulder. Despite hearing that, you frowned and shook your head. “No, we’re leaving. I’ll tell Wendy that we had an emergency. I want you to be comfortable.” you said, placing your hand against his cheek. Your boyfriend leaned into your touch, turning his head ever so slightly to kiss your palm. “I can tell when you’re not okay. So let’s go. We can get a pizza on the way back.” you offered, standing up.

Leaving the bathroom, you tasked yourself with finding Wendy. Pete went ahead and stepped out, walking to the car to start it. Saying your goodbyes, you quickly followed, stepping to the passenger side of your vehicle. Sliding into your seat, Pete reached over and grabbed your hand, bringing it up to his lips to place a kiss to your knuckles. “Thank you… I’m sorry that we had to leave.” he murmured against your skin, driving out of the driveway. “Don’t worry. I’d rather spend the night with you in comfortability.” you smiled, looking up at him while he drove.

Eagers Automotive Limited Companies Back-Pay $16 Million and Sign Enforceable Undertaking

Australia’s largest car dealership business, Eagers Automotive Limited (EAL), has back-paid over $16 million, including interest and superannuation, to staff underpaid by five of its subsidiaries. These subsidiaries have also signed an Enforceable Undertaking (EU) with the Fair Work Ombudsman.

EAL, formerly known as AP Eagers, is an Australian public company operating automotive dealerships across all Australian states and territories, and in New Zealand. The five subsidiaries involved in the EU were acquired in 2019.

The underpaid employees were primarily based in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. EAL’s dealerships sell nearly all major vehicle brands, including Toyota, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Volkswagen, and Hyundai.

In 2019, AP Eagers acquired Automotive Holdings Group Limited (AHG), the holding company for 19 businesses. This acquisition made EAL Australia’s largest car dealership business, with an annual revenue of $9.85 billion.

EAL self-reported the underpayments to the regulator in June 2021 after discovering anomalies during a payroll review following the acquisition. The review revealed that EAL subsidiaries had failed to pay in line with award progression, incorrectly classified employees, did not pay overtime, annual leave, annual leave loading, or for training, and failed to pay employees when sent home due to no work. Unauthorized deductions were also made.

Eagers Automotive Limited has back-paid $16.2 million to 13,277 current and former employees, including $12.1 million in wages, $1.1 million in superannuation, and $3 million in interest. The underpayments occurred between 2013 and 2021. Additionally, $1.9 million, including interest and superannuation, was back-paid to 701 current and former employees of 14 other subsidiary companies outside the EU requirements.

Approximately $200,000 is still owed to employees who cannot be located. Under the EU, payments must be completed within 120 days or be paid into the Fair Work Ombudsman’s unclaimed monies fund.

The employees affected by these breaches were full-time, part-time, and casual staff working across car and truck dealerships in finance, car sales, parts sales, and servicing roles.

The EU is with the five largest companies: AHG Newcastle Pty Ltd, AHG Services NSW Pty Ltd, AHG Services Qld Pty Ltd, AHG Services Vic Pty Ltd, and AHG Services WA Pty Ltd. These companies must also make a combined $450,000 contrition payment to the Commonwealth’s Consolidated Revenue Fund.

Fair Work Ombudsman Anna Booth stated that the EU was appropriate as the underpayments were largely due to past non-compliance identified by EAL following the acquisition of previously separate entities. The companies have cooperated with the FWO’s investigation and have committed to rectifying the underpayments and preventing future issues.

Under the EU, EAL’s subsidiaries have committed to implementing stringent measures to ensure correct payment of workers. These measures include commissioning an independent auditor to verify lawful entitlements are met.

Ms. Booth emphasized the importance of compliance with awards and enterprise agreements, noting that EAL’s breaches resulted from inadequate time and attendance systems, reliance on manual paper timesheets, a decentralized payroll system, and a lack of awareness of workers’ legal entitlements. She praised EAL for proactively identifying and rectifying issues after the acquisition.

Individual back-payments to employees ranged from less than $1 to $69,298, with an average back-payment of approximately $1,217, including superannuation and interest. The entitlements were owed under various awards and enterprise agreements, as well as the Fair Work Act.

The EU also requires the five companies to engage an independent provider to operate an employee hotline for three months at their own cost, inform affected staff about the EU, and provide evidence to the FWO of mechanisms in place to identify and rectify compliance issues in future acquisitions.
