Welcome to Raven's Peak, Rye, we're excited to have you! Vermillion Stone (Karl Urban, werewolf) has been accepted. Please be sure to stop by the CHECKLIST for the follow list, tags to track, and other reminders.
IN CHARACTER
FULL NAME: Vermillion Stone SPECIES: Werewolf AGE: 55 DATE OF BIRTH: june 15 GENDER IDENTITY: male NEIGHBORHOOD: Cherry Heights OCCUPATION: captain of fire department WORKPLACE: fire department POSITIVE TRAITS: caring, protective, athletic NEGATIVE TRAITS: angry, pessamistic, bitter LENGTH OF TIME IN RAVEN’S PEAK: ~ 30 years FACE CLAIM: Karl Urban
BIOGRAPHY
TRIGGER WARNING: infidelity
Vermillion had an average childhood. There was nothing too special about it. Agatha and Anthony had 3 kids, two boys, and one girl. Vermillion was the oldest, followed by Cerulean, and Viridian. Boston was great and all, but Vermillion always wanted to escape. He stayed for his family, not really knowing where else to go anyway. There was a strange sense of familial bond that he couldn’t really explain. He went to a small school, getting his license to be an EMT, two year degree in fire protection, followed by his license to be a paramedic. After just under 4 years, he was a full firefighter working for BFD.
It was in Boston where he met his love. Bianca was everything and more. He was complete taken by her. She was sweet, beautiful, and for some odd reason, wanted him in return.
They had only been together a handful of months when she said she was moving. He couldn't live without her, so he went with. He packed his bags and he moved to Raven's Peak. Vermillion got a little house, created a home. He started at the fire department, using his time off to build Bianca a patio, a garden, painting the house. He did everything he could for her. They were together almost a year when he proposed.
He wanted to create a home with her. Work was stressful, but he tried. They had a small wooded wedding, they started to create a family together.
Vermillion went out with the boys one night after work to a night he’d spend eternity trying to forget. What was supposed to be a couple drinks became a nightmare. Vermillion was walking back to his truck when a large dog was in the shadows. He didn’t have any pets, but he wasn’t a monster. He peered around, just wanting to know if it was hurt. Maybe it was hungry? He’d go back in and get something for it to eat.
When it launched at him, he couldn’t run fast enough. After spending a couple days in the hospital, a broken arm, scratches over his chest, his cheek, Vermillion couldn’t be found. He started drinking more. He went off the deep end. It was hard to cope with whatever feeling was in his body. The foreign curse taking over day by day.
But he did go home. He apologized to his wife. He tried to be a better father. But there was something else that Vermillion hadn’t told her. It wasn’t that he was no longer human. She was by his side through that. It was a one night stand that resulted in a son. Three whole years had gone by before he was dropped off at their door.
Explaining that to her was a lot. He would spend the rest of his life making it up to her. He became twice the father he was before, twice the husband. There was a lot of tension with Banks as the family grew. They had their kids, and they had Banks. He always felt a particular shame with him. It was a reminder of what he had done, of what had happened to him. But he tried his best to make him feel included.
Vermillion worked his way up through the chain at work. He was going into less fires, and more so leading his team. Raven’s Peak wasn’t the biggest place. It was a small crew he was working with, but since he had spent most of his career there he had worked his way up to Captain. Now he does more paperwork than anything, but he’s home every night.

ok I told rev I would write a very basic red mage explanation so here goes. disclaimer I’m only 51 and am a scrub who’s had this job unlocked all of a day but this is what I’ve read and figured out for lvl 50 rotation
1) abc. always be casting
2) you have two modes. caster and melee. the idea is you cast spells until your mana meter hits 80/80 white/black then you blow it all on melee then rinse and repeat
3) basic cast rotation is jolt to get dualcast buff for instacast > instacast verthunder (builds black mana) or veraero (builds white mana) > use verfire and verstone whenever the buttons light up > instacast verthunder/veraero (vfire and vstone give you dualcast buff also)
4) as soon as your mana meter hits 80/80 leeroy into melee with corps a corps (this is literally just vanguard charge) and then do melee rotation
5) melee rotation is dead simple. enchanted riposte > enchanted redoublement >enchanted zwerchhau > displacement out and go into caster rotation
6) cast flèche on cooldown, it does big damage at range but does not contribute to meter bc it’s not a spell
7) AoE is literally just scatter spam as far as I can tell

The Japanese made robomladentsa without a face
The Japanese made robomladentsa without a face
Japanese company Vstone introduced Hiro-chan, a soft training baby robot that responds to hugs: usually crying, the robot calms down when picked up. Hiro-chan’s repertoire includes more than a hundred different sounds, but no face, so the mood of the robot can be determined only by ear. Read more about the development tells IEEE Spectrum.

OmniCovered (2004) by Takeshi Maeda, Vstone, Osaka. OmniCovered is a bipedal humanoid competition robot developed for ROBO-ONE 6. Instead of aluminium sheet metal, it has a fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) frame, with a white exterior made of laminated ABS resin. It uses new Hitec HSR-5995TG ultra-torque robot servos, and the image processing required the faster Renesas 40MHz 32-bit SH-2 CPU. Its chest bears the autograph of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, who was impressed when he saw another of Takeshi Maeda's robots in Tokyu Hands (東急ハンズ, Tōkyū Hanzu), a chain of Japanese hobby stores.
"Saturday, qualifying round. Dual sword fighting, image processing balloon popping, and 15cm climbing were all successful, but I ended up in 2nd place. I lost to A-Do again… If I think about it, I was also arrogant, thinking that if all the demonstrations were successful, along with the monocoque exterior, I would be able to qualify for first place. … Sunday, main game. He was suddenly hit by the robot equipped with the Dynamixel servos (ROBOTIS) that I was afraid of, and was defeated in the first round." – Takeshi Maeda, Robotan Production Diary.
At ROBO-ONE 6, OmniCovered came 2nd in the qualifying rounds, but lost in the first game of the finals.

うちのジェミノイドF(石黒教授が手がけたロボットのひとつ)いるやんか、あれ食えたらどう思う?」
