Knowing that a character is called "Tavros" and that it is a human child, it makes the fact of saying that we love the GamTav quite annoying. Because we can’t know if the person is talking about the real Tavros (the troll) or the other.

It is just about as bad as Kanaya naming her adopted daughter VRISKA, her ex-crush as she is married to Rose. Some could try to make a joke like to make them distinguished, the OG characters will have the paranthesis like how they did for the Vriskas talking [[ Vriska and (Vriska) ]]. But even then when typed like Gam(Tav), that looks more retarded. I wouldn't mind of descendants or fankids being named after said dead characters. But only if they are dead and do not appear again in the series in some shape or form, like if characters are able to meet said ghost of the dead character or alternate versions of a character from a different timeline meeting with the future kid. That's what makes it messy when it comes to Homestuck since this shit can happen. It paints it that the character attached to someone they once knew or liked as more obsessive and would never let go. It's not really honoring someone if you are still able to go meet that person in a fictional purgatory or still being able to communicating them. Thankfully, when most new people enter in the HS fandom, they won't know shit about the sequel just yet unless you want to be an ass and ruin their experience. Which I don't mind for jokes. But you know...let their curiosity get the better of them. You telling them about it is either to save their sanity or make them go away from the Homestuck fandom.
