HAPPY 11TH ANNIVERSARY MIXELS

Said that I wasn’t gonna use this app as much but I think posting something I spent WAY too much time on wouldn’t hurt!

WOW. I can’t believe it’s already been 11 years since this franchise was released, I still remember 6 year old me watching these funny rainbow monsters on live TV and going to my local lego store to collect em like it was yesterday. Seriously, y’all have no idea how much this show meant to me. This was literally the root of my childhood AND one of the biggest reasons why I wanted to draw! I actually don’t know where else I’d be without this show, it’s a huge shame that the franchise won’t make any return or references due to being in legal limbo and it makes me feel sad…

Aside from that, I’m really happy with how this turned out! I spent the entire day locked in while missing my shower xP

I drew a very scary looking Blarret, guys! I don't think I've ever properly posted traditional art before, so this is nice. I quite like this, and was based off of a little sketch I did in class that was actually proud of. I do apologise for my lack of posting, I have joined a new fandom in early May (Mixels) and I'm getting paranoid that I'm fortgetting MSM - which I always promise will never happen! But no need to worry, I hope to stick around for much longer. I would post Mixels art, but most likely wont, not very often at least, due to some complicated issues in my life, I may come clean about them when needed.

Anyway, have a random photo of my wall - full of drawing old and new. And various other things, of course! (THE CYBOP IN THE MCDONALDS HAT ISN'T MINE, MY BESTIE DREW HIM) And, yes, I have an electric shock risk warning sign... I may elaborate.

Mixels Frenzy: The End

And we’ve officially come to the end of the art project; closing my own tribute to this underrated little gem of a franchise that has left a huge impact on my life. All 81 Mixels, drawn, colored, and presented! Overall it has been a swell time revisiting this series, and drawing out all these fun, wacky, and imaginative looking creatures. Getting to talk about all my personal favorite characters, while also finding some new appreciation for some others.

I feel very accomplished working on this project, it allowed me to sharpen up my drawing skills, create my own release schedule, as well as experimenting around with the color pencils set that I got for Christmas. I’ll probably do something like this again for a different series/franchise in the future, but for now, I’m going to move on to some new smaller projects. I’ve been drawing Mixel characters for nearly 3 months and I kinda want to take a break for now. But I’ll certainly get back to it at some point, I might even consider drawing out all the Maxes.

Anyways, Thank you to everyone who has stuck around for this 2+ month long project. I hope you enjoyed this little series as much I did, and that you’ll stay tuned to more of my upcoming art pieces.
